AN: So... This is my first time making a story, so if there are anything that is confusing, errors, or typos feel free to point it out, other than that enjoy the story.

Romeo was happily looking at the board quest, no scratch that, he was looking at the board quest at pure joy as he was very glad and very happy that his father was giving him some space a quest on his own without his 'supervision'.
And by mean 'supervision', it means his father doing the jobs while Romeo himself could only do nothing but watch him.
Though the problem was, he couldn't pick a right quest, some were easy as helping others and some are hard like the S Class Quests, but he just want to pick up a right quest that fits him.
While having a hard time picking up the right quest, he didn't notice that two girls, who were on the counter, were staring at him in curiosity.
The first girl seem to be around Romeo's age, she has blue hair tied in twin tails and colorful brown eyes that stared at Romeo. This girl's name is Wendy Marvell, the Sky Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail.
The second girl beside her has amaranth hair that is tied to a short pig tails and has blue eyes. Her name is Chelia Blend, a Sky God Slayer from Lamia Scale.
"Umm... Who's that guy? He's been looking at the board for nearly 8 hours." Chelia asked Wendy. It wasn't nearly as weird as seeing a certain male stripper to walk in a guild but it was enough for her curiosity and slight frustration to ask aloud.
"Hm? If I remember, he's Romero? No, not that. Oh, Romeo, right, his name is Romeo Conbolt, he's the son of Macao Conbolt, the 4th Guild Master of Fairy tail when we disappeared 7 years ago. That's what I only know of him, plus we haven't even talked or start a conversation." Wendy answered.
It was true, but now that she thought about it, Romeo was the guild member she had at least in contact with. At most, he only saw him enter and exit the guild hall, and all of those encounters, she never saw him doing anything related to quest, so this for her to saw him standing in front of the board quest, much more for many hours have passed and still standing there, was honestly pretty strange for her.
Chelia suddenly stood up, her curiosity got better of her.
Seeing her sudden action, Wendy stopped her in reflex and couldn't help but ask her.
"What are you doing?"
"What do you think? I'm obviously going to ask him why is he standing there for many hours he's like a statue." And with that, she went to where Romeo was standing on.
Romeo, oblivious on what was happening behind him, noticed a strange request.
It showed a drawing that has two circles parallel to each other and inside of those circles are many dots, that wasn't the most interesting part though, what was interesting was that in the center shows a bird covered in fire, not just any fire though, it was a fire of many different colors. It somehow reminded him of his magic. He checked the content of the paper.
WANTED: RAINBOW FIRE MAGE
NO OLDER THAN 15
It seemed like a weird request, but what was weirder was the reward it showed.

As he went on, he narrowed his eyes in suspicion. The last one was really suspicious.
RECOMMENDED TO PREPARE A LARGE BACKPACK FOR THIS QUEST, YOU WILL MEET THE SENDER BY FOOT, NO OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION NOT EVEN USING EXCEEDS OR ANY OTHER, ONLY BY FOOT. YOU CAN BRING SOMEONE AT LEAST TWO TO TAG WITH YOU.
'This is really strange request, the image is strange, the rewards are suspicious and mysterious. And most of all, the way it recommended for him to travel by foot only.' He mused as he was about to ask Mira before he realized that she also left along with natsu.
In the middle of his thoughts, someone tapped his shoulder.
He turned over to see a colorful blue eyes staring at his own black color eyes. Their face was 2 feet away from each other.
"GAH! What the hell!?" Romeo jumped back and hit the board on his back before he stumbled forward.
OOF... That gotta hurt.
Chelia and Wendy, who was behind her, giggled at his reaction as other guild members looked towards Romeo with a weird expression.
Seeing their look, Romeo slightly blushed in embarrassment before he slowly stood up and dust himself off, before looking at the girl who tapped his shoulder just in time she stopped giggling and gave him an apologetic look.
"Sorry, sorry... I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction." Chelia said.
"It's okay, just don't do that again." Romeo gave her a reassuring smile before going back to a neutral look.
"So..." He started, she seems familiar but he can't remember her name.
"Chelia, Chelia Blendy." Chelia, seems to caught up with his mind, introduced herself.
'Oh, the Sky God Slayer of Lamia Scale.'
"Right... So Chelia, what seems to be the problem." He asked Chelia, only to see her trying to remember why she'd done that with a person she didn't know.
"Well, Romero... No, Romeo, we can't help but ask on why you are staring at the board for like... 8 hours? It's already noon." Wendy answered in her stead as she knew that Chelia could sometimes forget something.
"Oh..... Wait what!? It's already noon?" Romeo was surprised as he asked, Wendy if she's telling the truth, which she responded with a nod.
"So, why are you staring at the board that long?" Wendy asked Romeo again.
"Uhhh... It was my first time going to do some Guild Quest so I have a hard time picking up the one that fits my specialty." He answered.
Both slayers gave him a confusing look.
"Sorry Romeo, but first time?" Wendy couldn't help but be skeptical at his reasoning. She had seen him picking up some requests at the Guild Board.
"Huh... Oh..... Well Wendy, let me rephrase that, this is my first time going to do some Guild Quest without my father supervising me." Romeo came to a realization on what she meant before explaining it to her.
Wendy gave an 'ah' as she finally understood what he was implying and nodded. She really did saw him picking up some request from time to time with his father following him.
"So, I saw you finally found something then?" Chelia, after listening to the conversation of the two, finally asked as she looked at the paper he is holding.
"I don't know but..." He answered as he scratched the back of his head before continuing. "I was going to ask Mira what kind of request this was, till I remember that she's not here. I mean, this one seems to be suspicious and mysterious."
That caught the two slayers' attention, especially when Romeo stated it being suspicious, and spiked their curiosity when he stated that it seemed to be mysterious.
"What do you mean by mysterious?" Wendy asked.
He didn't answer, instead he handed the quest paper to the two girls.
Chelia took the paper and read it, along with Wendy. The two raised their eyebrows, then they gave a confusing look before narrowing their eyes in suspicion.
Chelia gave the paper back to Romeo as the three of them went silent.

Wendy was the first to speak up.
"So, why did they request to go by foot only? And why did they even say that even exceeds are not able to transport them to their location?" Wendy really want to know why, but they'll only get their answer only when they meet the sender.
"I don't know, and I can't understand, why do they even need a rainbow fire mage, no older than 15 at that to meet this person?" Romeo responded, he took a deep breath before continuing. "I guess I should take it anyway."
"WHAT!? Why!?" The two slayers were surprised at the Fire Mage's sudden decision before worry grew on their faces. Don't get them wrong, even though they don't know much about Romeo, they knew Romeo was not weak, not even the weakest, but that doesn't stop them from worrying about him, especially when they don't even know who sent this request, and not even knowing their intentions or strength.
"I mean, even though it is suspicious, I can't stop my curiosity about it. Especially when they needed a Rainbow Fire Mage, not older than 15 at that. And I'm reaching 14. Plus, my instincts are telling me to go with it." Romeo explained. He really can't stop his curiosity rising from him, plus, Rainbow Fire Mage younger than 14, from his knowledge, are very, very rare add to the fact that Rainbow Fire Mages are already rare to begin with.
There was silence between them for a few minutes before Wendy finally spoke up.
"Then..... I'll go with you."
Romeo was caught off-guard with that.
"What? Wendy, are you sure? I mean, don't you have something to do? Like go with Brother Natsu and his team, or have talk with Carla or something?" Romeo truly didn't expect that, he really truly didn't expect that. The last thing on his list, was for Wendy to join him.
"Well... Natsu and the others left on a long quest on to meet a client on the Kingdom of Valeais. It was a long way trip, even by airship, it will take them 3 months to go there." Wendy explained herself, yet couldn't help but feel sad about it, being left alone because they want to help her.
Well the author is sad about the dragonslayers enduring their motion sickness for three straight months. And Wendy wasn't even there to cast Troia spell for them.
"Why didn't you come with them, then?" Romeo asked, she usually go with them.
"I was sick at that time. It wasn't a normal sickness, and every other doctors and experts can't even identify what sickness I was having. They said that the only one who knows it and its cure was from the people of Valeais. It was also a coincidence when someone put a quest that came from Valeais that they need help, I don't know what kind of help they needed, but the reward was 2 billion jewels." Wendy explained, she wanted to continue if not for Chelia and Romeo suddenly lying down on the floor staring at the ceiling in daze.
"2 Billion..." They both said as their thoughts was flooded with many things about on what they would use, before Romeo snapped out of the daze as he realized something before giving a look of something that of... Pity.
"Knowing Natsu, they won't get their rewards, and with Gray and Gajeel into the mix, they probably would have a massive debt, instead of debt. It would be a miracle if they somehow managed to get the rewards intact." Romeo stated.
Chelia snapped out of her trance when Romeo finished the statement before giving Wendy a sullen look.
"Wait, then how come you are fine here then?" Romeo realized that Wendy was fine and showed no signs of sickness.
"Well, I don't know... I don't want to go with them as I would probably would held them back, so after some convincing with them, they reluctantly agreed, but Chelia was there to come and visit me. But after the day Natsu and the others left. I was suddenly... Fine." Wendy finished shyly as she looked away, knowing how awkward it had been.
Romeo, for all the things happened in his entire life, looked like he just heard her stories that seemed like the biggest and most hilarious joke ever. He tried to fight off the laugh he's having but failed as he rolled on the floor laughing.
Wendy noticed Chelia trying to stop her giggle but also failed. Seeing this, Wendy pouted.
"Guys, it's not funny."
"Sorry Wendy... It's just..." Chelia trailed off as she started laughing along with Romeo.
After more than 10 minutes, they finally stopped.
"Sorry Wendy, but since you volunteered, why not? I could have some company. It's lonely to go alone you know." Romeo said as Wendy smiled.
"That's true, what about you Chelia? Will you come with us?" Wendy asked Chelia, who smiled at her.
"Well, since it's Wendy, I wouldn't mind accompanying you both. It's also an opportunity for us to get to know Romeo."
Romeo smiled at the two slayers, before he noticed something at the back of the paper. He checked the back of the paper and showed a map, and after reading the content...
"You gotta be kidding me..." Romeo stated as he pinched his forehead. Wendy seemed to noticed this as she asked him.
"Are you okay, Romeo?"
"Yes, but are you sure you two want to come with me?"
"Yes, but why the hesitation? Is there something you don't like about us?" Chelia pretended like he broke her heart in which Romeo slightly blushed before giving her a serious look.
"No, it's just that if we go where the sender was by foot, it will take us 5 months to get there."
Now that made the two slayers reconsider their decision but in the end...
"Yes, we'll still go with you, I really don't know what we should if we stay and I'm slightly getting bored, even if we went to go on do some quests. So how about some change?" Chelia decided as Wendy beside her agreed, it was getting boring for them as the days passed by and Natsu and the others will be back after 6 months anyway, so why not just go for an adventure.
"Great, so I guess the reason we're going to have a large backpack is probably because we will be traveling there for months then. Let's meet up tomorrow then, because we are going to pack up the things we needed for this journey, plus it's getting late." They finally noticed that the sky was turning orange, it was surprising for the three young mage, it seems that time truly flies when they are oblivious around them.
"I guess, I'll be going on then, I'll see you two tomorrow... I'm going to have a long talk with my guild when I get back." Chelia muttered the last one, that wasn't heard by Romeo, but Wendy heard what she said and she merely smiled nervously and slightly sweat dropped at her, before Chelia went off.
The mood turned slightly awkward the moment they are only two of them as the two tried to say something.
'Come on Romeo, try to think of something, this is getting awkward each second passed.' Romeo, despite being able to talk to the two girls, he was a socially awkward person.
Wendy also was trying to think on what to do, although she was smooth and okay to talk to someone, she never actually talked to someone who is the opposite sex of her age. She was only able to talk to him because Chelia was there and mostly went with the flow.
The two seemed to gain an idea before the two started talking at the same time.
"So, want to go?... Somewhere... Like... Go to dinner?" They paused everytime both of them said at same time.
Romeo scratched his head as Wendy blushed at the awkwardness they are feeling.
"Sure." They both said.
The two went together, not even realizing they had their first unofficial date due to the awkward moment they are having.

Anyway, I don't know where this story will lead to, we'll just see it for ourselves.
