No matter how hot a bath I took, I was always cold. Not only by nature but physically too. It surprised my father, Yuri and even that jerk. I was always cold. Maria even started calling me a vampire.
I stepped out of the shower, flawless steam surrounding my ivory body. The mirror portrayed my twin. People complimented that I dye very well but the unseeming truth is I never dyed my hair. They had been white and indigo ever since I was born, favored by my midnight eyes. Even with these nasty bags under my eyes, I looked beautiful. Not that I cared enough.
I packed my stuff and left for school. Mondays are the worst days. I don't know why but they are just umm, what do I say. I want to look perfect on a Monday because it's a formal day on my list but the bitchiest thing is that it's the start of another miserable week. Lilith and Yuri headed out the other way round. Both of their institutes were in Sector B while mine was in Sector D.
As I traced my path through the crowd, people were turning to look. They always did, whenever they saw me they'd turn. And the silliest part is that they'd actually expect me to entertain them. Huh!
"Morning Beautiful," Sam walked across the hallway waving at me. I hated that stupid grin on his face. It was fake and that was the most hateful part.
"Good morning."
"Slept well? Why do I always see these circles under your eyes?" Back to the acting of being caring. And you want proof? He doesn't even know that I am insomniac, though I told him many times when he asked if I slept well.
"Mhmm," I nodded.
Done, that's it. This is all we talk about. And you know why do we even talk this much, cause he wants to attract attention while walking through the hallways. He doesn't even look at me when I respond to him.
What's wrong with you Silver? Since when did you care?
Exactly.
"Good morning children," Mr. Cormend, the high class principal of our average high school, entered the class with a medium-heighted boy following behind. He had unique platinum hair, with a hint of black in them. His eyes were pitch black, high risen sharp cheekbones compensated for his ethereal features. He was the most handsome boy I had seen till now. Not that it matters.
Oh wait, didn't the drunk count?
"We need a volunteer to show Moumus this school." The elderly man announced. I could hear low giggles from my mates. Though girls were only sighing in fascination.
"If I may, it's Momus sir," his honey dripped voice filled the entire classroom.The Principal and he shared a glance, it somehow looked mischievous to me.
"Okay, Silver nightingale will be your volunteer then." He quoted and left, without leaving me with any choices.
I don't want to be a tour guide for this platinum blond. He is going to attract so much attention.
Gods! What is the thing that you are revenging me on?
His feet made elegant movement as he traced the path to my bench. Sam moved somewhere else. I assume he went to Myra.
"Hello milady, I am Momus and sure you'll fascinate my company," he said reaching his hand out, grinning from ear to ear, and I knew this was not going to be right.

I know, I know, this is tooooo... short. But the fact is...I am very bad at writing these kind of chapters.
I am extremelly sorrry for my disgrace but the next chapter will be longer and earlier.
Till than, love yourself and love my poor characters too, they have only me and you as family.
