you wake up to payton kissing your forehead. you smile and wrap your arms around his chest tighter.
P | come on audrey. we have to get up.
A | five more minutes.
you say with your arms wrapped up under his sweatshirt. he's so warm.
P | fine. just because you're adorable.
he wraps his arms around you. you hear his heart beat. after 5 minutes you have to get up.
A | can i get in the shower?
P | yeah! of course. let me show you how to turn it on.
he shows you and messes up your hair before he leaves. he's on your mind the whole time you're in the shower. you walk back into his room in shorts and your sports bra. he looks so excited to see you. you change into this for faith's graduation.
when you and payton get downstairs joanne had already made breakfast.
joanne | good morning you two! how'd you sleep?
she says handing you a glass of orange juice.
P | amazing.
A | i slept good.
payton hugs his mom.
P | what about you momma.
joanne | very good. i made breakfast if you want to sit down and eat with me.
A | sure!
you grab some pancakes and have them with joanne. she's so welcoming.
joanne | so, audrey, what's it like in florida.
A | it's really fun. i spend a lot of time at the beach.
joanne | you live on the beach?
A | at the end of my street.
joanne | awesome! payton said you took him surfing?
P | mom.
joanne | i'm just making conversation.
A | yeah! he was pretty good.
P | not compared to you.
A | well i've had practice.
after a few hours you all head to the graduation. you have pretty good seats. you are holding payton's hand when halfway through he puts his head on your shoulder. you're so happy he's comfortable around you.

after you go down and take photos with her you all get dinner at a really nice restaurant.
F | i'm glad everyone could make it. especially you payton. you're gone all the time.
P | shut up i wouldn't miss your graduation for anything.
F | also thank you for coming audrey.
A | i'm so glad i could.
payton's phone starts ringing.
P | hold on i have to take this.
faith throws her hands up as he walks off.
F | what was i telling you.
you take another bite of your food.
F | so audrey. how are you liking it out here?
A | it's great! a lot less intense than florida.
F | i bet. are you like... rich?
joanne | faith. be polite.
F | i was just asking. since you live on the beach and everything.
A | i don't like to consider myself "rich" per say but we are blessed with a really nice house in a very nice place.
F | private school?
A | you wouldn't catch me dead-
you both start laughing. payton walks over and puts his hands on the back of your chair.
joanne | is everything okay?
P | yeah! it was just dale from the studio. he has my demo's in and he asked if i could stop by and fix up a few things before we get ready for a release.
F | that's awesome payton!
joanne | yeah!
P | soo...
joanne | what?
P | can i go?
joanne | you have to go right now?
P | i don't have to but they're leaving soon and i don't want to wait until tomorrow.
joanne | it's your sister's graduation.
F | let them go. we're done anyways.
P | thank you!
joanne | okay. go.
P | yes! come on audrey.
A | oh? okay.
he takes your hand and you walk to the car.
P | i'm so excited for you to hear the whole thing out together.
A | i bet it's go good.
you later pull up to this kind of old looking building. payton opens the door for you. there is all kinds of equipment. it's very very quiet. there and just two guys sitting over by a computer.
P | dale, kevin!
Dale | heyyy!
Kevin | what is up!
P | nothing much man.
he greets them.
Dale | you must be audrey. i'm dale.
A | it is. hey dale.
Dale | great to meet you. that's kevin by the way.
A | hey kevin.
Kevin | nice to meet you.
P | okay boys. the demo.
