Sophia POV
Ahh I'm so excited to go to New York!
I couldn't sleep last night because I was so excited. I never went anywhere outside of my state. I woke up at 5:00 am and we're supposed to meet at the school by 6:00 am.
I changed into something comfortable which just leggings and an oversized hoodie. I wore my white vans and grabbed my luggage.
I went down and saw my dad putting my luggage in the car
"Dad I can just walk school is literally down the corner" I said "Uh I'm not letting you walk alone with two heavy luggages. You'll be gone for a week why pack so much" He became breathless and I smiled
"I asked Gal to pick you up since you guys are going to the same destination but she told me she had to arrive school earlier because of teacher things" He said and I nodded
My dad drove me to school and helped me with my luggage
"Bye dad!"
"Bye be safe!" He said then drove away
I met everyone at the front of the school where the busses should be here to take us to the airport.
I saw Samuel and I went up to him
"Oh my gosh I'm so excited" He said
"Same! I can't wait to see the city at night" I said
"You excited?" I heard a voice behind me. I turned around and saw Taylor smiling at me. "Yes, are you?" I asked her and she shrugged "I've been to New York not too long ago but this time it's with you so I'm happy" She said and I felt Samuel tapped my elbow and I rolled my eyes
"Alright busses are here!" One of the teacher said. We all gathered up together and went inside the bus. The bus drive wasn't that long so once we arrived to the airport we got our tickets. The school bought our seats so I have no idea who's sitting next to me
We arrived at the gate and waited a bit. I decided to walk around the airport and told Samuel if they're ready. I walked around and went to this cute gift shop. I looked at around until I got bored. Samuel called me saying they were reading to board in passengers.
I ran to the gate and walk into the airplane
I walk in the airplane and found my seat. I grabbed my luggage and tried to put it in the storage bin on top but I was too short. I stood up on my tippy toes and nothing.
Suddenly someone helped me
I turned around and saw Gal smiling at me
"Thanks" I said and went to sit on my seat. I smiled because I got the window seat. I felt a body sitting down next to me and saw it was Gal. The plane took off and I was getting kinda tired since I didn't get much sleep last night.
Maybe a nap will help
I closed my eyes and took a nap
I felt someone shaking me and when I opened my eyes and saw everyone leaving.
Dang did I sleep for that long?
I noticed I was laying down on something and I immediately put my head up and I saw I was laying down on Gal shoulder
"How long was I sleeping on you?" I asked "Most of the flight" She said "Sorry" I said awkwardly.
We got out of the airplane and Gal helped me get my luggage. We walked to the New York airport and I had a huge smile on my face. We went to this bus who drove us to our hotel. The teachers were checking us in and Taylor was with her friends. I was with Samuel of course.
The teachers handed out the students hotel keys and I saw Gal walking to me.
"So you're dad wanted us to be roommates" She said giving me the key "Why?" I said because I wanted to sleep in the same room with Taylor. It'll be so awkward with Gal
"He wants me to keep an eye on you. He thinks you're going to sneak out." She said and I sigh "Fine" I mumbled
"I'll see you tomorrow Sam" I said and he walked away. Me and Gal went to the elevator and we were alone which made things awkward. The elevator door opened and we went to find our room. We found out room and Gal unlocked it for us. We walked in and saw an average size room with a tv and two beds along with a decent size restroom.
I went to the bed and lay down immediately
"Tired" she chuckled and I nodded
Flights can make you feel so exhausted
"Are you hungry? I can order some food for us down at the cafe" She asked and I nodded "Thank you, you're the best" I said and she smiled "I'll be right back" She said
When she left I felt relaxed
I wanted to change into my pajamas since I wanted to go to sleep after I eat.
I grabbed my clothes out of my luggage and start stripping all my clothes out. Once I was fully naked I grabbed my oversized shirt
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!"
I immediately turned my head and made eye contact with Gal. My mouth was wide opened and my eyes are widened. Gal had the same reaction. She immediately turned around. I immediately noticed I was still naked and put on my pajamas quickly.
"Y-You can turn around now" I said feeling warmth on my chin
Why am I blushing?
She turned around and opened her eyes slowly
"Sorry I should've knocked but um I forgot my wallet" She chuckled and grabbed it. I nodded and she walked away
Once she left I immediately scream into my pillow
So embarrassing!!
I can't believe I basically have to survive in the same room with her for a week
