I am from late winter to early spring
From whatever the sky would decide to bring
I am from chocolate croissants that are freshly made
From the morning hustle going to the busy maze
I am from frosty winters building snowmen
I am from sudden change and new moments
I am from a new language to a new country
I am from a new home with new dreams
New friends and new memories
I am from many wishes having been made
From saying goodbye as I waved
I am from the flat land and tall trees
Them being the only friends I had it seems
I am from cluelessness and embarrassment
From feeling small and unfortunate
I am from opportunities and new found hope
Making new friends as I more often spoke
I am from creativity to the love of art
I am from many inspirational sparks
I am from adventure and excitement
From many travels and new entertainment
I am from saying goodbyes again
To a new home we must go to again
I am from quiet uneventful days
To living in silent isolated ways
I am from hardships and feeling hopelessness
From tear stained cheeks and brokenness
I am from a new light covering the dark
From the music they brought into my heart
I am from struggles and wishing upon stars
Hoping my wishes will reach the stars
I am from thunderous clouds that always loom
Waiting that someday the flowers will bloom
