the next morning
miley woke up in noah's bed around 7 am
she went in her room and went back to sleep in her bed.
she woke up around 11:30
she went in the bathroom to brush her teeth.
noah was in there shaving
noah-morning kiddo
miley said good morning and gave him a high five
noah-i'm having a party tonight. my parents are out of town. you gonna be okay?
miley-i assume you want me to stay in my room the whole time
noah- no. but i do have one rule

she raised her eyebrow
"meaning?"
he laughed
"you know what i'm talking about"
she raised her eyebrows again

"yeah okay"
he walked out of the bathroom
she was still confused on what he was talking about.
she yelled to him from the bathroom
"i don't be there for long don't worry"
"where are you gonna be"
she laughed
and didn't answer him
he walked in there
"miley rose"
she looked at him and laughed
she walked past him
for the next few hours she just hung around in her room
then she quickly threw clothes on when she realized people were already showing up

she went downstairs
she stood at the end of the stairway and made eye contact with noah
he looked at her and shook his head
she signaled a "what" to him
and he just shook his head sideways
she sat on the couch with one of the girls she was already friends with
her name was ava
she was a junior
she was kind of friends with lee and elle
but then jake (the boy who asked for her snap a few weeks ago) showed up
he immediately went and sat with miley
noah was outside so miley could actually talk to jake without noah interrupting
after like 15 minutes of talking to her he said
jake-hey let's get out of here. we can go walk on the beach
miley nodded her head
"okay yeah,let me go tell noah where i'm going"
he nodded his head and she went to find noah
she found him.
he was making out with some girl
she said his name and he turned around
miley-i'm leaving okay
noah-um what
they girl he was kissing flicked miley's forehead
noah clenched his jaw
"you should probably leave"
"what"
"you just touched her. leave"
she rolled her eyes
and walked out
miley-sorry i ruined your makeout sesh
noah-it's fine. she tasted weird
miley-that's gross, anyways i'm leaving okay
noah-um with who
miley-jake
noah turned his head and saw jake
"that kid really?"
"he's cute"
"nah"
"you have my life 360 on. i'll be fine. i'll be back in like a half hour"
"and if you're not?"
"i will be"
he went to say something but she walked away
"bye love youuu"
he smirked
she left with jake and got in his car
the beach was only a five minute drive for the house so they just made small talk for a few minutes

jake-what's a pretty girl like you doing without a boyfriend
miley-i don't know
she laughed
jake-you know,i can change that
she looked at him and smiled
he put his hand out for her to hold
she took it
they were walking the beach and telling eachother about themselves
he stopped walking
his back faced the ocean

she smiled and said thankyou
they looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds
then they kissed
they made out for a little bit
she took her lips off of his
and he tucked her hair behind her ear
he smiled at her
she took his hand and they walked back to where they started and they drove home

*once they got back to the house*
she looked at him to say something
and he kissed her
she put her hand in his hair

they made out for a little bit again
she stopped and looked at him
"thankyou for tonight"
"anytime pretty"
she smiled and got out of his car
he drove off
she went inside
she was hoping to not find noah and go back upstairs
when she walked inside she didn't see noah anywhere
so she went to go upstairs
but when she turned the corner,noah was right there
miley-dammit
noah looked at her
miley-what
noah raised his eyebrows
miley-oh calm down we didn't even do anything
noah-really is that why your hair is all messy and your lip gloss isn't even on anymore
she fixed her hair
noah smirked "i'm not an idiot"
"mhm"
he raised his eyebrows
miley-i'm going upstairs now
noah-we'll talk later
miley-no we won't
he laughed and walked away
