Chapter 811: Inducement (Part Two)

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

"Well, it's very obvious, then." Hong Dali nodded with a big smile. He felt at ease instantly. "The main goal of the Zergs is the inducement of the King Zergs. In this case, the migration will become much easier. We will hold the Zergs back as long as we can. Although the volume of the Zergs is large, our four space carriers and mecha are still capable of holding them back. Next is the most important point—what is the inducement of King Zergs?!"

The inducement of King Zergs was the most crucial thing in this war.

As long as they figured it out, it would be easier, regardless of whether they chose to fight or stay.

"The inducement of King Zergs should not be too difficult to figure out." Tang Muxin thought carefully. "Dali, think about it. According to Uncle Chief, it was because we opened the Thunder Angel's core when we entered Elder Mo Tianji's cave. The corpse genes of the Zergs communicated with the Zerg Army, right?"

"En, that's right." Hong Dali nodded. "Uncle Chief mentioned in the past. But that was due to their strange genes, right?"

"That's what I thought initially." Tang Muxin slowly shook her head. "But later on, I changed my mind!"

She took a deep breath and asked, "Dali, don't you think we overlooked something very important?"

"Something important?" Hong Dali frowned. "You mean..."

"Dali, think about it," Tang Muxin said. "Zergs obviously have concrete news on the inducement of King Zergs. Otherwise, they would not come in such large numbers. The speed of Zergs traveling through the universe is very fast. But so what? The universe is too big. Everything is measured in light-years. So what if they're fast? Besides, Brother Tianzong and the others have such fear for Zergs, so it is obvious that the Zergs also have the technology of interstellar transmigration similar to Space Oscillation! Otherwise, so what if King Zergs appear? Milky Way is so big, King Zergs depend on their wings to travel anywhere. Is there a need to be afraid of them, then? It will most likely die before it reaches where it's going, right?"

"That's true. I almost forgot." Hong Dali smacked hard on his thigh. "I know what you mean. The Zergs have indeed just found out about the inducement of King Zergs not long ago. It would have taken them tens of thousands of years if they flew over slowly."

"Yes, that's right!" Tang Muxin nodded decisively. "Based on this, the Zergs headed toward Earth once they got the news about the inducement of King Zergs. It should be quite recent. We can then eliminate the things that are inherent on Earth. After all, inherent things would have existed on Earth for thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of years ago, right? This doesn't match up with the Zergs' combat time. All kinds of minerals, as well as animals that have existed since ancient times, can be ruled out. In line with this train of thought, what else could have attracted the Zergs? There can only be one thing left—humans!"

"Humans!" Hong Dali nodded fiercely. "Yes, it must be a person! Everything wouldn't make sense otherwise! Firstly, the Zergs must have the technology for interstellar transmigration, something that we have yet to figure out. Shortly after they received the news that they received regarding the inducement of King Zergs, they started to fly towards Earth. With such a timeline, they must be targeting a person.

"Next, we can analyze what the inducement of King Zergs is." Hong Dali rubbed his chin. "When we went to the Galaxy Alliance Center, the Zergs obviously did not come for us. Otherwise, their target would be Silver-blue super-planet. In this sense, this person must be on Earth. There are many ordinary people on Earth, these people can be excluded. At least those that have left via Space Oscillation can be excluded."

"En, that's right." Tang Muxin nodded. "That only leaves the special people, those with special powers. Dali, there should be quite a lot of people with special powers, right? For example, Brother Levis can control his muscles, but he's not an inducement to the King Zergs. In addition, Uncle Chief said the Zergs had just received the news. This inducement should exist shortly after we entered the Thunder Angel's core. After we entered the Thunder Angel's core, until the time the Zergs received the news, the one with the biggest change is..."

At this moment, both of them opened their eyes wide open and stared at each other. They shouted in unison. "Little Bai Hechou!"

God!

Hong Dali's godson, little Bai Hechou, was the King Zerg inducement!

The mystery had finally been unraveled.

Little Bai Hechou had become a Blister Baby due to his genetic flaw.

It was actually nothing. The Zergs had learned of the existence of Earth through the Zerg corpses through the core of the Thunder Angel. That was nothing. The key to the real problem was that Zhang Yi had modified little Bai Hechou's genetic make-up using Zerg genes. In other words, because little Bai Hechou's body had fused with the Zerg genes so perfectly, he became King Zergs' inducement!

That was why the Zergs received the news so recently. That was why Zergs came in such large volumes this time. That was why the Zergs flew to Earth instead of the Silver-blue super-planet. Their target was little Bai Hechou!

"These damn bugs. How dare they have ideas about my son!" Hong Dali's hair stood up on end!

His friends had always been his weakest link. Anyone who dared to lay their finger on his friends would come to no good end. Moreover, the Zergs were actually targetting little Bai Hechou. He would definitely fight them to the end!

As King Zergs' inducement, they would definitely not let little Bai Hechou off so easily!

He was also Hong Dali's godson. Hong Dali would risk his life in order to protect little Bai Hechou.

It wasn't an overstatement to say that this was a contradiction that could not be solved. The most important thing was that Hong Dali could not leave even if he wanted to!

As long as little Bai Hechou was around, no matter where he went, the Zergs were sure to follow them!

Since he could not leave, he could only fight them to his death.

"These bastards, damn!" Hong Dali stood up suddenly. "You dare touch my son, I'll kill all of you!"

Now that they found out the Zergs' purpose of coming to Earth, what they needed to do next was to plan how to fight them. Tang Muxin hugged Hong Dali's arm and comforted him softly. "Dali, calm down. Everyone loves little Bai Hechou so much, we will not let him be in danger. Otherwise, if he really becomes a King Zerg, we wouldn't be able to fight him. You have to calm down. Let's slowly think of something together. What we need to do now is to confirm if little Bai Hechou is really the King Zergs' inducement."

"En, that's true." Hong Dali patted Tang Muxin's hand. "Xinxin, thanks. Otherwise, we would all be kept in the dark. Hehe." He gave Tang Muxin a peck on the cheek. "This kiss is on behalf of everyone in the world. Hehe."

"Annoying." Tang Muxin's face flushed red. Her head was so low it almost reached her chest. "You pervert!"

"Hahaha! Since the mystery has been unraveled, let's get everyone together to discuss the countermeasures." Hong Dali headed out and shouted as he walked. "Everyone, quick gather. I have important news!"

Important news!

Since Hong Dali had said that, it must be something really important. Everyone soon gathered.

This time, everyone was present. Feng Wuhen, Yin Tianzong, Jiang Qianxue, from the universe. The mysterious man, Hong Weiguo, Hong Jianye, Geezer Wang, Lin Chuyin, Zhang Yi, etc, from Earth. Everyone was here.

As Hong Dali announced his findings with Tang Muxin, everyone became quiet.

After a full minute of silence, everyone roared—

Yin Tianzong shouted, "Dali, you're great. To think you could think of this. It took us tens of thousands of fights with the Zergs before we realized Zergs had an ability similar to Space Oscillation!"

Feng Wuhen nodded. "Indeed. This technology that is similar to Space Oscillation is called Space Tunnel. Simply put, the Zerg is a unique entity. After maturing, it has the ability to create Space Tunnels. In the universe, the term 'wormhole' has existed for a long time. It refers to this ability of Zergs'."

Damn, wormhole, wormhole. This was where it came from.

Einstein was from the Galaxy Alliance Center, right? Whose descendant was him?

"Dali," When Zhang Yi heard that she had indirectly caused this, she was aggrieved. She pouted and sounded like she was about to cry. "Dali, it's all my fault. I should have not touched the Zergs' genes..."

"What will be will be. It is unavoidable." Hong Dali did not blame her. "You didn't know this. You did everything you could for little Bai Hechou. This has nothing to do with you. Moreover, we are not entirely sure that they are here for my son. There's just this possibility."

Although Hong Dali said that, Zhang Yi still felt uncomfortable. After all, this was not a small matter.

"Sister Zhang Yi," Li Nianwei, the big sister, walked over and pulled Zhang Yi in her arms. She said gently, "With Young Master around, everything will be okay. You didn't mean for this to happen. Little Bai Hechou is very healthy now. This is what's most important. Don't be too upset. It's okay. Don't worry."

Chapter 812: The Zerg Knights Are Here!

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

"Yes..." With Li Nianwei consoling her, Zhang Yi pouted again, but was feeling better.

It was obvious that she was depressed about having caused so much trouble.

At this time, little Bai Hechou, who was about as tall as a seven- or eight-year-old child, walked over quietly. He looked at Hong Dali with eyes that shone like black gemstones. "Papa, is it... because of me?"

"Ah, no." Hong Dali hugged little Bai Hechou with a big smile. "Our little Bai Hechou is such a good boy. How could it be because of you?" As he spoke he gently rubbed little Bai Hechou's nose and said, "Papa will take care of you. You just have to grow up happily. If I can't even protect my son, I wouldn't be of much use!"

"Papa..." Little Bai Hechou buried his head in Hong Dali's shoulder. "Papa is the best, hehe!"

"That's for sure!"

"Dali." Jiang Qianxue was moved as she watched them. She asked softly, "What shall we do next? Now that we have more or less figured out the cause, the important thing is, what should we do now?"

At this time, what was most important was what they should do next.

"Since the Zergs' target is my son," Hong Dali stroked his chin and said gravely, "this is what we can do. First, determine if my son is really the inducement of King Zergs. To prove this, I have decided to advance the carrier and observe the movement of those Zergs. If they just stare at us and make no move towards Earth, then it is confirmed. If they bypass us and attack Earth, then the conclusion is also obvious."

His plan was simple and effective.

They would move the four carriers forward and distance themselves from Earth. If the Zerg only targeted the carrier that Hong Dali and the others were on, then their guess was confirmed. If the target was still Earth...

Gamble. All they could do now was take a gamble!

"Okay!" The crowd replied loudly, "Let's try it out! Let's see if it works!"

Now that the decision had been made, they moved the carrier toward deep space. When they were more than ten million kilometers away from Earth, they were almost upon the zombie Zergs.

This position was relatively safe, and it was perfect for testing the Zergs.

Everyone's palms were sweating.

Whether the Zergs' target was Earth or little Bai Hechou was a matter of great concern, and everyone could not help but worry about it.

If the target was indeed Earth, it would be troublesome. There were still people who had not evacuated yet. There were simply too many of them. It would be hard to evacuate everyone in just a few days.

However, if their target was little Bai Hechou, there was only one choice—war!

If it came to that, honestly, no one had much confidence in winning the battle.

Ordinary Zergs, mutated Zergs, Zerg Knights, as well as the King Zergs that might appear in the future were all very hard to deal with. When all of them were gathered together...

"Let's give all we've got!" This was what everyone thought.

The effect of Hong Dali's tactic was obvious. All the Zerg in space soon started moving!

They first started to disperse, then they started moving forward. Cleverly, they went around the zombie Zergs and from far, started to survey the carrier Hong Dali and the rest were on.

None of the Zergs even looked at Earth. There was not a single Zerg headed towards Earth!

When everyone saw that, they all took a deep breath.

This was the best and also the worst outcome.

The good thing was, the people on Earth could take their time evacuating the planet. The bad thing was that Hong Dali and the rest could not leave. Fighting a bloody battle was their only choice. There was no second choice.

"Since it has come to this," Hong Dali clenched his fist tight, "let's fight!"

The minutes and seconds slipped by. Both parties faced each other like that for an entire week. Hong Dali and the rest were unable to come up with any other ideas as to what they could do except continue preparing for battle.

The Zergs did not take the initiative to attack. It was probably because of the presence of the zombie Zergs. The ordinary Zergs were afraid of getting infected, so they dared not go near them. Also, since little Bai Hechou was still here, they were not in a hurry to move.

On the seventh day, at about 8 PM Earth time, most of the people on Earth had been evacuated. At 10 PM, the situation changed!

In the space carrier.

"Reporting." A guard rushed into the meeting room and reported loudly, "A large swarm of Zergs has appeared. There are also a lot of small beings that are probably Zerg Knights and mutated Zergs.

They were finally here!

Since the Zerg Knights had come, the battle that was to ensure would be much tougher.

"Everyone, get ready!" Hong Dali shouted decisively, "Retreat! Our next battleground is Earth!"

The Zerg Knights had arrived. The following battle would be on Earth instead of out in space where the Zerg had the biggest advantage. Otherwise, with so many Zerg Knights, if they fought in space, the space carriers full of people, mecha, and fighter spacecraft would be shot full of holes.

On the other hand, when they got to the surface of Earth, the Zergs would have to watch their movement since they would be concerned about little Bai Hechou's safety.

Otherwise, if little Bai Hechou died, and the inducement to become King Zergs disappeared, the Zergs would be very depressed...

Rumble...

The four Second-order Stellar carriers began to retreat. While they were retreating, everyone continued observing the movement of the Zergs out in space and this was what they saw!

There were thousands of Zerg Knights clad in a variety of armor! The armor on these Zerg Knights was similar to Hong Dali's Mechanical Holy Garment, but theirs looked better. Their eyes glowed with a red light and they held incomparably sharp weapons in their hands. They flew through space, their speed super fast, comparable to the speed of the space carrier!

Soon, the Zerg Knights flew to the front of the zombie Zergs. These Zerg Knights did not look big in space, but their strength was soon evident to Hong Dali and the others—no wonder Yin Tianzong and the other Galaxy Aristocrats went pale when the mutated Zergs were mentioned. These Zerg Knights were really powerful!

Almost one thousand Zerg Knights stopped when they got near the zombie Zergs. They arranged themselves into a net-shaped formation in space, then the corrosive particle-beam cannon on their shoulders opened. Soon the energy began to consolidate and, once a sizable amount of energy had been gathered, all the corrosive particle-beam cannon of the Zerg Knights fired in unison!

Boom—!!!

It was easy to explain the power of the combined corrosive particle-beam cannon of almost a thousand Zerg Knights. It made a huge hole in the middle of the 300 million zombie Zergs after they fought amongst themselves. Thirty million zombie Zergs were killed by the particle cannons!

"God!" Hong Dali and others sat on the space carrier, staring at the power of these Zerg Knights, stunned. "This... this is almost as powerful as the main cannon of a space carrier? Such a large range? Such high damage?"

Feng Wuhen sighed and said, "Damn, that's why it's a headache to meet Zerg Knights. Do not underestimate them based on their size. They are very powerful. Honestly, we do not have much of an advantage when fighting against them. The Galaxy Aristocrats have fought them many times and..."

"And?" Hong Dali opened his eyes wide. "Did you win or lose?"

"Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose." Feng Wuhen shrugged. "Energy users and land mechas are an even match for these Zerg Knights. Now, do you understand why we have the Galaxy Mecha Competition? The real purpose of the competition is to find strong fighters who are able to fight against the Zerg Knights."

Hong Dali finally understood.

Simply put, the Galaxy Super Mecha Wars were targeted at dealing with the mutated Zergs. The Galaxy Mecha Competition was targeted at dealing with Zerg Knights!

Damn. I have already said that things are not so simple out in the universe!

While everyone was lost in their thoughts, the Zerg Knights had started advancing. Behind these Zerg Knights were numerous mutated Zergs!

At this time, the drone spacecraft transmitted its findings to them—

Zerg Knights, 869. Mutated Zergs, 55 million.

Eight hundred and sixty-nine fully equipped Zerg Knights, 55 million mutated Zergs! There were also about five billion ordinary Zergs. According to this ratio, they would be able to evolve about four King Zergs!

"So many mutated Zergs..." Hong Dali rubbed his chin and suddenly said anxiously, "No, this is not right!"

"What's wrong?" Everyone asked.

"There are so many mutated Zergs and so many ordinary Zergs." Hong Dali said quietly, "The numbers are out of proportion. Only 10 million mutated Zergs are needed for one King Zerg, but there are 55 million mutated Zergs here this time! According to this ratio, there should be five King Zergs. But I have only one little Bai Hechou. How are they going to divide him?"

After hearing what Hong Dali said, everyone immediately started thinking about it seriously.

Hong Dali was right, this ratio was wrong.

"Zerg Knights, mutated Zergs, King Zergs, ordinary Zergs." Hong Dali closed his eyes in thought. "So many of them, what are they trying to do?"

According to the numbers that corresponded to the evolution of one King Zerg, the situation this time was definitely not so simple!

If they counted the ordinary and mutated Zergs that they had killed previously, that would be about 60 million mutated Zergs and 6 billion ordinary Zergs. Numbers like these were enough to make six King Zergs!

Even if they considered the smallest possible number, that was five of them, which was still a lot.

However, there was only one little Bai Hechou on Earth. How were the five King Zergs going to share him? Unless...

Chapter 813: Zerg Knight Carter

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Hong Dali broke out in cold sweat and felt chilly. "There is something weird. Something must be wrong. If these Zergs are so sensitive to their genes, at most, Sister Xiao Yi could be counted as one more. That only makes two! But they have enough numbers for five King Zergs... which means..."

He racked his brains. The most important thing was that the numbers didn't match up. The difference was too big.

Five King Zergs, Zhang Yi and little Baichou only made up two. But five King Zergs...

"Uncle Tang Long," Hong Dali called out. "The ratio of the number of Zergs and production of King Zergs does not match up! Based on what we anticipated, if the Zergs are here for my little Bai Hechou, there isn't a need for so many Zergs! But why are there so many Zergs? What is going on?"

Facing such a situation, Tang Long did not know what to do either. "I don't know. Although I've seen more of the world when I was with my old master, we have never heard of such a situation. I don't remember this being documented in any ancient documents, either. My suggestion is not to think too much about it. It never helps to overthink matters. You should take care of the current problems first. There are more than 800 Zerg Knights. This is no joke."

"Alright." Hong Dali gritted his teeth. "I shall not think about it now, then. The pressing matter now is to get rid of the Zerg Knights before we think of what these bugs are really up to!"

At this moment, the swarm of Zergs flew toward the space carrier Hong Dali was in. The scene of the swarm of Zergs flying towards them was shocking. Even viewing it through the holographic projection was enough to make their scalp tingle.

It was clear Earth could not withstand four 1,000-kilometer-long spacecrafts landing on it. Hence, it was impossible for them to land on Earth. The only option left—other than the original crew on the spacecraft—was for everyone else to land on Earth via Thunder Angel. After that would be the battle with Zerg Knights.

"Everyone, get ready." Hong Dali shouted. "Get in Thunder Angel, land on Earth, get ready to battle!"

Whoosh—

Thunder Angel carried all the important people and landed on Earth.

As expected, the Zerg Knights and the mutated Zergs, together with forty billion ordinary Zergs, followed them to Earth without hesitation!

Their goal was indeed little Bai Hechou and Zhang Yi. At least, both of them were definitely one of their targets. They had no idea about the others, and they had no time to speculate either because Thunder Angel had already landed!

To prevent causing too much damage to Earth, Hong Dali decided to land on an area with the least living things, Sahara Desert!

The Sahara Desert was formed approximately 2.5 million years ago and was the world's largest sandy desert. It was located in northern Africa. The region had very climatic conditions, making it one of the least suitable places for living things on the planet. Its total area could accommodate the entire Merika.

There were barely any animals here, not to mention people. They could fight without worry.

"Everyone, get ready!" Hong Dali commanded everyone to gather on the mechas and they landed.

Granzon, Valsion, Dragon Tiger King, Dark Angel, as well as Wang Daoming's Venerable Mecha formed a circle in front of the Thunder Angel. It was best that little Bai Hechou and Zhang Yi did not appear. Hence, they stayed in the Thunder Angel's core with all other non-combat people. It was not an overstatement to say the safest place on Earth was inside the Thunder Angel's core.

Time passed little by little.

Soon, silhouettes appeared in the sky, big and small.

The smaller ones were about two meters in height. Those were Zerg Knights who could fight under any circumstances. The mid-sized ones were about ten meters tall. They had the largest volume of ordinary Zergs who blocked the light from the sun.

Even bigger ones were thirty to forty meters high, matching the height of Dragon Tiger King. These were the backbone of the Zergs, mutated Zergs.

A large enemy force approached.

Facing such a situation, even though Granzon was protected by Immium ore as well as the AT field, Hong Dali did not dare to let his guard down.

It was now clear that the Zergs' target was little Bai Hechou and Zhang Yi!

These horrifying bugs had no interest in anyone else. With the main target around, the Zergs did not wish to complicate matters. From this, it could be deduced that there was a commander controlling them.

The Zerg Knights started to descend.

Their bodies were very small compared to Hong Dali and the others' mechas, as well as Thunder Angel, but they were not to be underestimated. Their weapons were very powerful!

"Huhuhu—"

More than eight hundred Zerg Knights soon landed on the ground. At this time, from within Thunder Angel, another mecha exited.

This mecha was silvery white all over and had mechanical wings on its back. It looked like an enlarged version of Hong Dali's Mechanical Holy Garment. This was Feng Wuhen with his personal mecha.

"Dali!" Once Feng Wuhen's mecha stepped onto the desert sands, he said, "These Zerg Knights are very fast and their weapons are very strong. Their only weakness is their lack of durability. After all, they have human skeletons. The armor they wear may be extremely hard, but the bones inside are comparatively weak. We should not have too many misgivings and just hit them with all we've got!"

"Okay!" With this knowledge, Hong Dali had no intention of holding back. "Everyone get ready!"

Everyone raised their weapons. Valsion, which Chuyin was in, was especially intimidating. It had only two weapons, one of which was the huge battle knife it held in its hands.

"Is the human commander here?" Just as Hong Dali and the others were getting ready to fight, a Zerg Knight clad in dark red armor approached them slowly. He lifted his head slightly and said evenly, "Our leader proposes a trade with you. What do you say?"

This Zerg Knight could speak the universal language!

Hong Dali and the rest did not think much of it. After all, they had witnessed all kinds of strange things during this period of time and this was just another one of them.

However, Yin Tianzong, who was inside Thunder Angel, was first taken aback, then shocked. He almost jumped up. "Carter, you are Carter?! How did you become a Zerg Knight?! God! I am Tianzong! Your Young Master Tianzong!"

Hong Dali and the others looked at each other.

Carter? Did this person who looked like he was the leader of the Zerg Knights knew Yin Tianzong?

"Young Master Tianzong, how do you do. I am Carter." The Zerg Knight leader named Carter bowed slightly in the direction of Thunder Angel. He smiled and said, "Thank you, Young Master Tianzong, for taking care of me when I was a human. It is also precisely because of this that I am negotiating with you as the Zerg representative."

This man named Carter was self-aware!

Based on what he had said to himself and Yin Tianzong, Hong Dali gleamed at least three pieces of information!

First, the Zerg had come with a leader this time. A real leader, one who could control even these Zerg Knights!

Second, it was confirmed that the inducement was little Bai Hechou. It was currently unknown if Zhang Yi was included.

Third, since Carter was self-aware, that proved that these Zerg Knights were not like that rest of the Zerg who only had the most basic instincts! They had their own thoughts and had the same awareness of danger humans had. As for their style of fighting, it might not be much different from that of ordinary humans.

And this Zerg Knight Carter said that he wanted to negotiate with them...

What was there to negotiate between humans and Zerg? Even if they really could negotiate, so what? Little Bai Hechou was his godson. How could he allow little Bai Hechou to leave with them? Furthermore, they might just burn their bridges after they got what they wanted. If he really handed little Bai Hechou over to them, would they let everyone else leave after that? What a joke!

"Your name is Carter?" Hong Dali said quietly, "Tell us your conditions first. We have to consider if there is any need for negotiations."

"A wise choice." Carter smiled and shrugged. "Amongst you is a child who has our genes. We have come to bring him back with us."

Once he said that everyone's hearts fell.

They were really here for Bai Hechou!

"Hehe, as expected." Hong Dai chuckled coldly. "Little Bai Hechou is my son. Do you think I will let you take him away?"

"Whether we can or not depends on how our negotiations go." Carter smiled and said, "Honestly speaking, Leader's intentions are that as long as you hand this child named little Bai Hechou over to us, everything else is negotiable. You can raise your own conditions."

He said that?

At this point in time, Hong Dali was sure of the importance of little Bai Hechou. He would not hand him over even if they killed him.

"Do you think I will believe the words of Zergs?" Hong Dali said disdainfully, "You might as well lay down the terms. At worse, we start fighting now. If I really lose, I'll take you all down with me and we can all die together. There is no way you are getting my son. You should be well aware of that."

"No, no, no." Carter shook his head. "Honestly speaking, I think you are being too hasty." As he spoke, he looked up at the sky. "Perhaps we can do it this way. Our leader is on his way here and should reach soon. I suggest you take this time to think about it. As a gesture of our sincerity, I guarantee we will not attack you. What do you think?"

"Hmm? it looks like you are really sincere." Hong Dali considered. "Okay, we will wait and see, then."

"No problem." Carter waved his hand at the Zerg Knights behind him. "Everyone move back one kilometer and wait for orders."

Chapter 814: Top Secret

*Whiz! *

Upon Carter's orders, the Zerg Knights turned around and flew off without another word. Their speed of flight was incredible, as they ended up a kilometer away in the blink of an eye.

The distance was not very far, as it was more importantly a formality to show their good faith.

Everyone knew that in the event a fight broke loose, retreating for even 100 kilometers would be meaningless. This was merely for their personal consolation.

"Alright." Carter sat down directly on the ground. "You can discuss little Bai Hechou's issues. I'll sit here waiting. Of course, if you have any other questions, I will be willing to answer them as well."

What the hell were the Zergs doing?!

Hong Dali's anxiousness grew increasingly obvious. He assumed that the two parties would break into a fight immediately upon meeting. Never in a million years did he expect this outcome.

Yet, no matter which way he looked at it, Hong Dali could not figure out the problems behind the current situation.

"Everybody, stay here and wait for further orders." Hong Dali instructed everyone to wait on the spot. He was not worried about the Zergs' betrayal as Little Bai Hechou was in his hands now. Instead, he started a discussion with the rest. "I have no idea what the Zergs are plotting. What do you think?"

"We can't hand Little Bai Hechou over no matter what!" Tang Muxin yelled, "That's your son, and that means... That means he's my son too. There's no way we can give him up!"

Everyone responded in unison, "We can't give him up!"

"No sh*t, of course I can't hand him over," Hong Dali angrily said. "If I can't even protect my own son, what am I still doing here? The key thing is that the Zergs look so calm and composed. How can they be so sure that we will hand over my son? Look at them, they're in no rush to move at all."

"Actually, I feel like," the mysterious man said, "since that Carter mentioned their leader was on the way, why not wait and see what their leader looks like? To be honest, I am really quite curious."

Everyone nodded their heads at the same time in agreement.

Truthfully, everyone was wondering about what the Zerg leader looked like.

Was it a he or a she? Gigantic or puny? Was it something huge like a Queen ant that laid eggs continuously all the time? Or even a whole mother nest? An enormous mother nest?

A slight sense of anticipation built up amongst everyone. As the saying went, curiosity killed the cat. Despite the tense atmosphere, everyone agreed in unison. "Great idea!"

Hong Dali thought about it for a while with a frown on his face. The unrest in his heart grew stronger as if there was something wrong. Yet, he could not figure it out no matter what. In the end, all he could do was to nod and agree. "In that case... in that case, we wait. As long as my son is here, there's no need to worry about them trying anything funny!"

Since a decision had been made, Hong Dali instantly turned to look at the Zerg Knight Carter. "Our opinion is to wait until your leader arrives. What do you say?"

"That is for the best." Carter nodded. "In that case, please wait for a slight moment."

Upon the confirmation to wait, Yin Tianzong could no longer control himself. "Carter, was I not good to you back then? How can you so willingly sell your life for the Zergs? What happened to you? You don't even want to be a human anymore?"

Everyone was curious about this question as well.

It would have been fine if this Carter had no consciousness. That way everyone could have just thought of him as nothing more than a mere puppet.

Yet, somehow, he very clearly possessed his own awareness. This situation appeared strange to everyone.

"I am truly sorry, Young Master Tianzong." Carter turned to look at Thunder Angel and said, "I did not have much of a choice. Now that you mention it, you still don't seem to truly understand the Sky Knights. Since we don't have much going on right now, let me explain it to you, just to kill some time.

"We Sky Knights are also known as Zerg Knights in your words. Normal Sky Knights actually only underwent an incomplete mutation. They are equal to puppets who do not possess their own free will. These normal incomplete forms are not worth much, as they possess little combat value. Roughly one will emerge amongst every ten soldiers.

"As for me, I can be considered one of the lucky ones. I belong to a group of complete form Sky Knights. There could be one of me amongst every a thousand soldiers. I possess my own consciousness and my own combat style. It's even possible for me to proceed and evolve into a stronger Star Knight."

Even Zerg Knights were classified into different levels!

The lower level ones were the normal, incomplete forms. The higher-level complete forms could even possess their own awareness and further evolve!

"Since that's the case," Yin Tianzong shouted, "why are you still working for the Zergs? You are a human! What you possess is human consciousness!"

"I'm really sorry." Carter helplessly said, "I may possess my own consciousness, but I cannot go against my leader's orders. This is a universal rule, and there's nothing I can do about it. I must perfectly execute my leader's orders. In these times, my body will not be directed by own consciousness. Young Master Tianzong, you just have to treat me as someone who has been hypnotized. Nobody can change this."

Carter gave a wry smile as he said that.

Nobody could see his face, yet everyone felt his emotions. "Actually, Young Master Tianzong, I really wish that you can kill me. Only then can I be truly free from all this. What a shame..."

Everyone was feeling horrible after hearing what Carter said.

He was like a puppet on a broken string. He could only watch as he was controlled to do things he did not wish to do, as his hands were stained with the blood of his own kind.

Nobody could do anything about it.

This was truly more exasperating than killing him directly.

Everyone fell into silence.

Suddenly, Tang Long's voice was heard. "Your name is Carter, right? I still have something to ask you."

"Please do. As long as it is something I can respond to, my answer will definitely satisfy you." Carter nodded.

Tang Long asked, "What is the deal with the King Zergs?"

"The King Zergs?" Carter thought about it for a while, as if to communicate with his leader. Soon, he raised his head and said, "The King Zergs are also known by us internally as the Devouring Beasts. They are considered part of the highest bloodline. I trust you should be more or less aware of the specifics of the process on their birth? There should be no need for me to further elaborate."

"Yep, it looks like my understanding was right." Tang Long paused, before suddenly asking, "The strangest thing to me, however, is what you are planning to do with little Bai Hechou? There should be no doubt that he is the inducing factor for the emergence of King Zergs. Yet, I can't figure out what your next plan of action is."

His question was the most pivotal one in the whole issue.

It was true that the Zergs could produce the King Zergs upon obtaining little Bai Hechou, but what would happen after that?

How exactly would little Bai Hechou allow them to induce the evolution of the King Zergs? Nobody, not even Tang Long, could figure this point out.

Little Bai Hechou was definitely crucial to the process, but what exactly was the crucial use for him?

"I'm truly sorry regarding that." Expectedly, Carter slowly shook his head. "This is our top secret. I cannot answer it for you, please forgive me."

Nobody had anything else to say since Carter could not respond.

Hong Dali felt his heart shaking with escalating anxiousness and anxiety.

"Right," Hong Dali murmured. "Even if little Bai Hechou is an inducing factor, what purpose could he serve? How can he act as an inducing factor? Why must the Zergs obtain him? Once they do, what will happen then?"

Hong Dali had a nagging feeling that if they could not figure these questions out, they would always be in a passive position when facing the Zergs.

What exactly was the objective of the Zergs?

...

At the same time in the galaxy, inside four Stellar-level Space Carriers.

Hong Dali and company descended to Earth. The four Stellar-level Space Carriers stopped high in the air at an altitude of 30,000 meters to monitor the Zergs.

The atmosphere was tense and gloomy.

As the Captain of the Third Space Carrier, Alfredo dared not to relax even for a split second. He had a faint feeling that something was off, yet he just could not figure out what it was.

Alfredo had been staring at the holographic projection video for nearly two hours. Suddenly, his eyes grew wide open.

He had discovered something that made his whole scalp go numb.

The number of mutated zergs in the Holographic Projection video had been decreasing at an alarmingly rapid rate.

The number of mutated zergs was reducing! What did that represent?

Were they retreating? No, that was impossible. There was only one other reason for the rapid decrease in their population.

The mutated zergs had begun to kill one another! They had begun the process of breeding the King Zergs!

In a split second, Alfredo felt his scalp tingle as if all his hair had stood up. He yelled with all his might, "Contact the Lord and Young Master Dali now! The mutated zergs have begun to murder one another. King Zergs could very likely emerge soon!"

The soldiers had learned plenty about the King Zergs after the previous battles. They entered a state of mass panic once they heard that King Zergs might be appearing. Someone instantly attempted to communicate with Hong Dali and the rest on Earth, but he quickly found out that nothing was as he imagined!

Their connection with Hong Dali and the rest had been severed by the Zergs!

"Captain, I cannot contact them!" The signalman yelled at the top of his lungs. "The connection has been severed by the Zergs!"

Instantly, Alfredo felt soaked in his own cold sweat.

No wonder the Zergs were acting so suspiciously!

They first activated the Zerg Knights to force the Lord and the rest onto the surface of the Earth. After that they severed communications and started production of the King Zergs. Therefore, the Space Carriers could only watch as King Zergs emerged. They could not even initiate any attacks, as there were still at least millions of mutated Zergs monitoring the Space Carriers!

Chapter 815: The Emergence of King Zergs!

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Alfredo was sure that if his side made a single move, the ordinary Zergs and mutated Zergs would swarm and trap them instantly!

And once the King Zerg emerged, the four Second-Order Space Carriers would definitely be completely destroyed.

"Think of something. Think of something now!" Sweat beads rolled down Alfredo's entire head. Soon he had made a decision. He took a deep breath and yelled, "Everyone, evacuate this Space Carrier now and head for the other three Space Carriers! I will pilot this Space Carrier myself and end things with the Zergs!"

"Captain!" The entire crew was shocked to hear this.

Did the Captain intend to kamikaze into the Zergs?

"Cut the bullsh*t!" Alfredo yelled loudly. "The King Zerg may appear anytime now. We have to notify the Lord and the rest. I will buy some time with the Zergs. The rest of you head over to Earth now to report to the Lord! Hurry!"

This was no time to dilly-dally. All the soldiers stood up and saluted in unison. They said loudly, "For the honor of mankind!"

Alfredo shot a deep and lasting glance at everyone. "For the honor of mankind!"

Soon, thousands of small-sized spacecrafts flew out from the Third Space Carrier. Some of them flew into the other Space Carriers. The rest flew directly towards Earth.

The Third Space Carrier, accompanied by the roaring of its engine, proceeded towards the Zerg army.

Now that all the soldiers had left, Alfredo and the AI necessary for the piloting were the only ones left on board. All devices which required human operation had been shut down. The AI initiated all turrets to simply fire particle-beam cannons non-stop. It was not concerned with whether the shots could actually land on the Zergs.

All Alfredo had to do were two things. He had to monitor the movements of the Zergs and guard the self-destruct button tightly!

The distance between the parties gradually decreased.

It was as if the Zergs could feel Alfredo's approaching intentions. Countless Zergs dived towards the Space Carrier. Billions of them covered the sky with no regard for their own lives. Their objective was simple as well. All they wished to do was to stop Alfredo from advancing.

The massacre continued as the Space Carrier advanced. The full-force attack lasted for almost two hours before the Space Carrier depleted its energy source. It could not even keep up its deployment of the energy barrier shield anymore. On the other hand, over two hundred million Zergs had been exterminated by the Stellar-level Space Carrier.

This was the end of the road.

In the galaxy, the Third Space Carrier had been entirely surrounded by the Zergs. It now had the appearance of a Zerg ball headed deep into the far ends of the universe.

Soon, Alfredo saw what the mutated Zergs were doing.

As expected, they were producing the King Zerg.

Once two mutated Zergs finished their battle, the winning side would instantly gobble up the loser. His body size would expand twofold, after which he would fight the winner between another two mutated Zergs. The cycle continued...

When Alfredo saw the cannibalistic fights between the mutated Zergs, the winners' sizes had grown to a full six hundred meters. By now, the holographic projection showed that there were only over five million mutated Zergs left!

"You damn pests!" Alfredo piloted the Space Carrier straight into the crowd of mutated Zergs. Without hesitation, he defiantly and firmly pressed down the self-destruct button.

"For the glory of mankind!"

Boom—!!!

A blinding ray of light brighter than the Sun exploded. The Stellar-level Space Carrier self-destructed!

The Second-Order Stellar space carriers were one thousand kilometers long. This self-destruction contained tenfold or even hundredfold the power of the nuclear bomb previously modified and assembled by Hong Dali!

In the blink of an eye, a giant ball of blinding light ten times the brightness of the Sun emerged. Its shock wave erased the existence of everything within a fifty thousand kilometer radius.

Everything touched by the shock wave instantly disintegrated into powder. Nothing was left at all.

This one hit took out more than four hundred million ordinary Zergs. Over seven hundred thousand evolved mutated Zergs were killed, and tens of millions of mutated Zergs yet to evolve were exterminated as well.

The Space Carrier had self-destructed.

The damage was catastrophic. Yet, the effect on the Zergs was still inadequate. After all, there were simply too many of them.

Silence. All the Zergs in the whole space territory fell into silence.

Their movements stopped for nearly ten whole minutes.

Following that, almost simultaneously, they resumed their internal fights in pairs.

The population of the mutated Zergs continued to decrease.

Four million...

Two million...

Five hundred thousand...

One hundred thousand...

Fifty thousand...

Ten thousand...

Two thousand...

One thousand...

Another ten hours had passed. There were only four mutated Zergs left standing.

The four mutated Zergs each measured at over ten thousand meters in size. Their entire bodies were covered in terrifying black armored scales. Gigantic black longhorns rested atop their foreheads. Six enormous wings that spanned for over eight thousand meters long were attached to their backs!

They had six full legs with each one over six hundred meters in girth.

The King Zergs were born!

They looked to be only ten thousand meters in size. This actually made them puny creatures in the universe, not even comparable to the three Second-Order Stellar Space Carriers. However, they were supremely powerful!

Upon birth, the King Zergs flew straight towards the direction of Earth. Their speed of flight was incredibly fast. The distance between the three Second-Order Stellar Space Carriers drastically reduced.

Five million kilometers...

Three million kilometers...

One million kilometers...

Within a matter of minutes, the four King Zergs had arrived at the face of the three Second-Order Stellar Space Carriers.

"The King Zergs are here! Warning! The King Zergs are here!" Inside the Space Carriers, the soldiers barely had enough time to react.

At that instant, the four King Zergs opened their huge mouths in unison and harshly bit down on the Stellar-level Space Carriers.

The outer shells of the Space Carriers were almost impervious to the attacks of ordinary mutated Zergs. However, the four King Zergs bit down with absolute ease. The metal shells crumbled like pieces of chocolate. Huge chunks of metal were simply torn off and swallowed whole by the King Zergs!

"Alert! Alert! The hull of the Space Carriers has suffered extreme damages!" Within the Space Carriers, alarms blazed as countless soldiers sprinted towards mechas and combat spacecrafts. Many Space Carrier controllers began to adjust the turrets to open fire at the King Zergs!

Boom, boom, boom, boom...

Countless turrets opened fire at the same time. The thickness of the light beams dwarfed the size of the King Zergs' bodies. However, an eerie forcefield swallowed all of them as they reached the front of the King Zergs!

These King Zergs were somehow immune to the gunfire of Stellar-level Space Carriers!

Boom!

A King Zerg raised his claws high before slamming it down on the outer shell of a Space Carrier. A large piece of armor dented into a huge pit. Countless pieces of debris flew off in every direction. The same King Zerg located an easier angle and ate another bite...

Ten minutes. Within ten minutes, the three Second-Order Stellar Space Carriers were utterly mutilated.

Rampage! Absolute rampage!

The Stellar-level Space Carriers were considered the main fighting force against the Zergs. Yet, under the gigantic jaws of the four King Zergs, they were fragile like newborns.

However, those King Zergs were merely newborns themselves!

After another twenty minutes passed by, the three Second-Order Stellar Space Carriers were rendered completely useless. The four King Zergs had increased greatly in size to reach around thirty thousand meters in length. Behind them, hundreds of millions of ordinary Zergs followed.

These ordinary Zergs would become the crops to fuel their continued growth!

"Everybody descend towards Earth!" The soldiers who had just emerged from the Space Carriers flew towards Earth. Their target was the Sahara Desert, where Hong Dali and the rest currently were.

As for the four King Zergs, they did not follow in the direction towards the Sahara Desert where little Bai Hechou was. Instead, they flew towards the Heavenly State!

Chapter 816: Golden Emperor Beetle!

On Earth.

Hong Dali felt more and more uneasy. To be honest, no matter how he racked his brains, he could not figure out what went wrong.

This mistake was very important. It had a big impact.

"What exactly went wrong?" Hong Dali thought for two hours but could not figure out what went wrong. "Xinxin," Hong Dali asked Tang Muxin using the communication device softly. "I think something is wrong. But I cannot figure out what it is. Help me think and analyze it."

"En, I felt it too," Tang Muxin said. "Things are a little different from what we anticipated."

"But what is different?" Hong Dali said in a low voice. "Xinxin, it is possible for our little Bai Hechou and Sister Xiao Yi to be inducements. But there are only two of them, and the volume of Zergs that appeared is sufficient for five Zerg Kings. This is clearly not right—how does the math add up?"

"I realized too." Tang Muxin sounded worried. "I think we inferred wrongly!"

"En, help me analyze this. Let's start all over." Hong Dali frowned. "We initially thought the Zergs came for little Bai Hechou. They landed on Earth and the Zerg Knights followed behind them, right? Then came the negotiation talks. They did not look anxious at all..."

"Yes, logically, it is impossible that they're not anxious about the inducement of the King Zergs. They said their leader is coming, but when?" Tang Muxin said softly, "Flying here slowly, how long will it take? I think we missed out on something very important."

"Something important, something important..." Hong Dali mumbled to himself and suddenly asked, "Xinxin, what if little Bai Hechou and Sister Xiao Yi are not the inducements of the King Zergs?"

"They are not?" Tang Muxin thought carefully and suddenly exclaimed, "That means, the inducement of King Zergs is still on Earth. But they needed to get Sister Xiao Yi and little Bai Hechou first. The real inducement is somewhere else on Earth! Where can it be? What is it?"

If this mystery was not solved, the truth would be far beyond what anyone had imagined.

Hong Dali had cold sweat all over his head. He was someone that had seen a lot of the world. He soon put his attention on Zerg Knight Carter.

"Mr. Carter," Hong Dali said. "to be honest, it seems your strategy is better this time. I shall not beat around the bush. Tell me honestly, the inducement of King Zerg is not my little Bai Hechou, right?"

Hearing that, everyone was shocked. The inducement of King Zerg was not little Bai Hechou? Didn't that mean everything they did before was in vain?

"You're very smart, Mister." Carter's voice was as cold as ice. "Everything was planned perfectly by our leader. I didn't think you would find out so soon. En, the inducement of King Zergs is not the child you mentioned, little Bai Hechou. Neither is it the lady who could fuse our genes. Of course, I need to confirm this..."

He closed his eyes and soon stood up. This time, he looked relieved—

"Alright, I have confirmed." Carter smiled and stabbed the Zerg Knight exclusive bone armor giant sword into the sand. "Our leader should arrive in another hour. I'm sure there will be a surprise for you. An expected surprise. The mystery will then be unraveled."

"One hour?" Hong Dali looked at Carter. "Alright, we will trust you once more. If your answer is not satisfactory, I will turn this into dust so it is not recoverable!"

"En, no problem." Carter nodded. "Our leader's reputation is not bad."

...

Everyone waited for another twenty minutes. Suddenly, there was a commotion in the sky. Countless combat spacecraft and mechas barged through the atmosphere and crashed toward the ground.

"This..." Hong Dali looked up and his expression changed! He looked at Carter and yelled, "You cut off our communication with the universe!" So many spacecraft had entered Earth's atmosphere but he did not realize. Clearly, a big problem existed!

"En, this is part of our leader's plan." Carter did not deny but nodded his head and smiled. "Don't worry. Our leader is very sincere. You will understand when she comes. En, there aren't many deaths on your side. If she had the intention to be ruthless, do you think they would appear before your eyes?"

That was true. If the Zergs meant to kill, it would not be enough even if they died ten times.

"Zerg King has appeared?" Hong Dali asked in a deep voice.

"You are really good, you can infer it so quickly." Carter nodded. "It has appeared, indeed. But at the moment, Earth is not their target. It will take a while for them to arrive."

"Okay!" At this stage, Hong Dali no longer had any burdens. "I want to see what you're up to!" He gritted his teeth. "Everyone, wait here. At most, we'll die together!"

Everyone agreed in unison. "Yes!"

...

At the same time, Heavenly State, East Ocean.

The target of the four King Zergs was the Second Fish carrier in Heavenly State East Ocean!

What was here that they needed?!

Four young Zerg Kings stopped in the airspace around the Second Fish. About one hundred Zerg Knights followed beside them. These Zerg Knights flew toward the aircraft carrier base and spent nearly five minutes turning the place inside out. Later, they retrieved a special object.

It looked like an ordinary jade, nothing special. If Hong Dali was here, he would definitely be shocked.

Who would have guessed, the inducement of King Zergs were these pieces of jade that increased Health!

Roar!

Seeing the jade that represented Health, four young King Zergs let out a terrifying roar. Then, they started to kill each other!

Young King Zergs, each 30,000-meters tall, started to kill each other over the airspace in Heavenly State. Green blood stained the sea and the base. When their blood touched the base, the metal structures started to corrode with a sizzling sound. The sea began to boil and countless sea creatures died!

...

Heavenly State and the Sahara Desert were on opposite sides of the Earth. The racket on Heavenly State could not be heard in the Sahara Desert at all.

After all, it was simply too far away...

Time passed slowly. This time, after nearly an hour, a black silhouette descended from the sky.

It was a giant Zerg fifty-thousand meters in length. It had a shiny golden bone armor on its body. On its head was three giant horns that looked like it could pierce through the sky. On the horns were complicated black patterns! It had six silvery-white wings which measured forty thousand meters when spread out. Each flap caused crazy winds!

It had six legs, each over a thousand meters thick. Giant joints, giant barbs. Just by looking at it, one could sense its alarming strength!

It flew directly towards Hong Dali and slowly descended in front of him.

Boom—!!!

A dense sound could be heard when it stepped on the ground. The earth trembled and the mountains swayed! The entire desert shook.

"This... this is... Zerg King?!" Hong Dali and the other stared with their eyes wide open.

A Stellar-Level Space Carrier measured over one thousand meters in length and looked humongous. Interstellar fortress looked normal. But these were inanimate objects. The thing before their eyes was alive!

Before it spoke, they heard a clear and cold female's voice.

"Wrong. It is more advanced than King Zerg. This is our strongest living being, Golden Emperor Beetle! Only one will be left out of Four Zerg Kings, and it will become a Golden Emperor Beetle, which is this guy here."

Chapter 817: Queen of Blades!

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

There was someone there, and it was a woman! To be able to appear here at a time like this, could it be...

The leader Carter spoke of?!

"Her Majesty, Queen of Blades." When they heard her voice, all the Zerg Knights stood together and bowed their heads as one. "Sky Knight Carter, leading the Sky Knight regiment greets Your Majesty, the Queen of Blades."

Queen of Blades!

Hong Dali and the others sucked in a sharp breath and fell silent. Their hearts sank.

This Queen of Blades must be the leader Carter mentioned. She had come personally on the strongest Zerg, the Golden Emperor Beetle. What was her aim?! Were Zhang Yi and little Bai Hechou worth that much trouble?

Soon, a small figure appeared in front of everyone.

It was a woman, but it was not an ordinary woman.

Her body seemed to be covered by an exoskeleton. On her back was a pair of wings made of bones. The tips of her wings were sharp beyond comparison. They were her wings, and also her weapon. Her hair was made of bone spurs that were jointed and hung flowingly down the back of her head. Her face was her most special feature.

One had to admit that this was a beautiful woman, an extremely beautiful woman. Her features were well-defined and there were red-colored mystical inscriptions on both her cheeks. They shimmered in the light, making her seem mysterious and alluring.

Honestly speaking, Hong Dali had half a mind to kill her with a blast from a wave cannon, but because she had been merciful—Carter was right. If the Golden Emperor Beetle had wanted to kill them, there was no way the people on the carriers could have landed. For the moment, it seemed that the two sides could negotiate. As for the outcome...

Damn, he had nothing to lose, why should he still be afraid of them?

The Queen of Blades descended to the ground.

At this time, there should have been questions to ask, answers to be had, but no one had expected that the first shout of surprise would come from Jiang Qianxue.

"You are... you are Ji Zining!"

After they heard what Jiang Qianxue said, everyone was stunned.

The two of them knew each other?! Jiang Qianxue was acquainted with the Queen of Blades?

"Oh? I did not expect anyone to still know me after such a long time." The Queen of Blades looked toward the direction of Thunder Angel. "What is your name, young lady?"

"Jiang family, Jiang Qianxue!" Jiang Qianxue said in a serious voice, "Three hundred years ago, you were exiled because you refused to marry. I didn't expect you to become the leader of the Zerg, the Queen of Blades. How could this be, how could this be?!"

She was Ji Zining, the only woman exiled by the Galaxy Aristocrats three hundred years ago?!

"I remember!" Yin Tianzong shouted, "You are the Ji Zining who won the Gamble of Will and ended up being exiled! No wonder I found your name so familiar! It's you! You're alive!"

"God," Feng Wuzhen yelled, "This world is crazy! How is this possible!"

Everyone was stunned!

This was information overload!

"Haha, it seems that there are quite a few Galaxy Aristocrats here. To think that you still remember me." The Queen of Blades' mouth curved up slightly, making her look even more beautiful and alluring. Her cold and beautiful appearance was in no way inferior to that of Li Nianwei and Tang Muxin! It was another type of beauty, a powerful beauty!

The leader of the Zergs, the Queen of Blades!

"It's a rare opportunity to meet old friends." The Queen of Blades Ji Zining smiled and said, "In that case, perhaps I can tell you my story. Would you like to hear it?"

"Yes!" Everyone said in unison!

Damn, this was practically the hottest gossip in the history of the Galaxy Aristocrats, who wouldn't want to hear about it! Even if the two sides were enemies, they still had to satisfy their curiosity first!

Suddenly, the whole desert was silent except for the sound of the wind whistling.

"Three hundred years ago," Ji Zining said quietly, "there were many people pursuing me. Unfortunately, the arrogance of the Galaxy Aristocrats did not appeal to me at all. How many children who grow up protected and sheltered are able to rise to the occasion when needed? I was not interested in people like that at all."

"I grew older and had to get married. But at that time, I met him... the one I was willing to love for the rest of my life.

"His name was Ye Hantian, a brilliant and talented genius! He was only 30 years old when he became a double Honorary Aristocrat, a black and white-level Honorary Aristocrat! He was only one step away from a true-blue Galaxy Aristocrat!

"At this time, the Elders found out about my love for him.

"Women from the Beta Star can never be impregnated by a man from another tribe! I already knew, but I didn't care. I only knew that I loved him and he loved me..."

When she said that, the expression on her face softened—

Three hundred years ago...

Ji Zining was dressed in a beautiful purple gown that flowed over her delicate and slender body. She stood in the wind on the top of the most beautiful cliff on the Silver-blue super-planet. The breeze was light and carefree.

It was a warm and beautiful evening.

"Zining, you are here admiring the scenery again." Ye Hantian, wearing a black and white Honorary Aristocrat cloak, walked up to Ji Zining's back and gently gathered her into his arms.

The beautiful and elegant Ji Zining and the amazingly talented Ye Hantian were a match made in heaven.

Ji Zining was extremely beautiful, gentle, generous and understanding. Ye Hantian was handsome and dashing, politically astute and highly skilled in martial arts!

They had fallen in love shortly after they met.

"Hantian..." Ji Zining closed her eyes slowly and rested her head on Ye Hantian's broad and sturdy shoulders. She murmured, "I'm scared. The Galaxy Aristocrats will never allow their women to marry outside the tribe. It is an iron rule, and no one can go against it. Hantian, can you promise me one thing?"

"I understand." Ye Hantian sighed softly and said, "Unfortunately, I love you. Perhaps this love has to be proven with my life, but I am willing. The only thing I am worried about now is my home planet..."

"Yes." Ji Zining shook her head helplessly, a teardrop sliding down her cheek. She said, "Rules and iron rules are all rigid. How can they be suitable for those of us who want to live better? Hantian, do you know? I have more than once wanted to give up the identity of Galaxy Aristocrat just to wander to the ends of space with you. Unfortunately, I know that even if I stop being a Galaxy Aristocrat, I will not be able to escape the surveillance of others. One day, they will find out about us."

"Don't think so much." Ye Hantian wiped off Ji Zining's tears gently and said, "If it doesn't work, we can find a way to apply to join the war against the Zerg and then try to forge our death certificates. That should work, right?"

"Hee, your idea is not bad. I didn't think of that!" After listening to Ye Hantian's words, Ji Zining was instantly excited. "When that time comes, we will fight against the Zerg and sacrifice ourselves heroically. Then, we will find a remote place to hide and then we should be able to live happily for the rest of our lives. Even if we can't have children, we can adopt a few. With your ability, there should be nothing we cannot handle!"

"That's right." Ye Hantian perked up and laughed. "When that time comes, we will have a large brood of children and they will all be our darlings, okay?"

"Okay!"

Unfortunately, they were not happy for long when the events took a turn for the worse.

One morning after it rained, when Ji Zining went out for her morning stroll to enjoy the beauty of nature, as usual, she met someone she did not expect to.

It was a person hidden in the shadows. He was wearing a hat and his head was lowered. She could not see his face clearly. However, what he said sent shivers down her spine.

"Ye Hantian is dead and his home planet has been destroyed."

"What?!" Ji Zining was shocked!

Ye Hantian was dead? How could that be?! He was so talented. Even Ji Zining was unable to gauge how high his ability was! And he was dead?!

"Impossible! It's impossible!" Ji Zining cried out. "You're lying! How can he be dead?!"

"The Nine Sha Luos were all activated. He might be a rare talent that came by once in a hundred years, but unfortunately, he's still a little too weak to win against the Nine Sha Luos."

"Nine Sha Luos..." Ji Zining heard these words and could no longer hold on. Both her eyes lost all life. "The Elders sent out the Nine Sha Luos to deal with us?"

"Galaxy Aristocrats cannot marry someone from another tribe. It did not have to come to this." That person said gravely, "We thought you would change your mind, but Ye Hantian applied to go fight against the Zerg swarm! Humph, pretending to be dead after fighting the Zerg, it was not possible that we would not have thought of something like that. So, the Elders decided to erase all signs of Ye Hantian's existence."

As she recounted her story, Ji Zining's tears rolled down her face. "After that, I asked everyone I could about it. Things indeed happened as they were told to me. The Elders had really sent out the Nine Sha Luos and executed Hantian. Even Hantian's home planet was completely erased from existence..."

The story was short but touching.

At this point in Ji Zining's story, everyone was silent. There were a few women in tears.

Such a beautiful love was really moving.

What Ji Zining had experienced made everyone lose all feelings of enmity for her. She was really pitiful. The love of her life was dead just like that, and there was nothing she could do about it. No one would feel good after experiencing something like that.

Ji Zining brushed off her tears gently and continued, "After that, the Elders invoked the Gamble of Will. The man they found for me was not bad. He did not even mind the fact that I had already given myself to Hantian. But I had already given my heart to Hantian, how could I marry him?

"He might have realized what my desires were, so he made a bet with easier terms to make it easy for me. In the end, I won and was exiled. As for him, he married a woman he did not love..."

Chapter 818: Everyone Was Blown Away!

Three hundred years ago, after the Gamble of Will.

It was dusk after the rain, the air was humid and fresh. But Ji Zining's mood was as cold as winter.

She stood on the top of the mountain. The cloak representing Galaxy Aristocrat fluttered with the wind whistling.

Yin Family, Yin Haoyun.

"Zining," Yin Haoyun said gently. "To be honest, I'm jealous of Ye Hantian. Although he is dead, he has your everything. In your heart, I am nothing compared to him."

"We have a good relationship since we were young." Zining smiled. "I've always treated you as my brother. You should understand."

"I do." Yin Haoyun nodded. "Hence, I don't want to make things difficult for you. You should know about the Gamble of Will. It's not so easy to win it. After all, I'm the one who fixed the rules."

"I understand." Ji Zining sighed and said helplessly, "I'm afraid we won't be able to see each other in the future..."

"That's right. I can help you this time," Yin Haoyun turned around slowly and looked into Ji Zining's eyes. "but I can't help you forever. I deliberately fought for the Gamble of Will. Otherwise, your future... Ah, forget it. Let's not talk about it."

He looked into the sky and closed his eyes briefly. "It will not be easy to lead the life of a vagrant. You might encounter all kinds of suffering. But, Zining, don't be blinded by hate. It was not the Elders' choice to do this. The most important thing was for people on the Beta Planet to multiply. Each and every person on Beta Planet is precious. They would not have done this if given a choice..."

"No! I hate them. I'll hate them for life!" Hearing the mention of the Elders, there was no hesitation on Ji Zining's part. "Even if I died, I will continue to hate them! What did Hantian do wrong? What wrong did Hantian's planet do?! They killed them just like that! They did not even give me a chance to beg them! I refuse! I refuse to concede defeat!"

"Aye, poor thing..." Yin Haoyun wiped the tears from Ji Zining's face. He comforted her gently. "I know this hatred cannot be resolved in a short time. I won't make it hard for you. But remember, don't be blinded by hatred. Since you won't forgive the Elders, one day, when you become powerful, don't make it too hard for other ordinary people. They are innocent."

"Okay, I promise!" Ji Zining gritted her teeth and nodded.

When she finished speaking, Yin Tianzong, who was in the Thunder Angel, mumbled to himself and rubbed his chin. He thought for a while and suddenly shouted, "Oh my God, Yin Haoyun is my grandfather's grandfather's grandfather! Who would have thought we are related in this manner." He alighted from Thunder Angel and hugged Ji Zining's leg. "Sister Zining, please take care of me!"

"Brat!" Ji zining shook her head and smiled. "If I didn't know the descent of the Yin Family was here, would I talk to everyone so nicely? I owe Haoyun one, I'm just returning the favor."

"No, no." Yin Tianzong whined. "Take care of me, at least..." Then, Hong Dali's Granzon lifted him up. Hong Dali said, "Ignore them, Sister Zining. Please continue..."

"En." Ji Zining composed herself and said—

"Later, as I was wandering about in the Milky Way, I met the mutated Zergs...

"Originally, I was prepared to die. I did not even resist. I only thought, since my vow with Hantian was to fight the Zergs and forge our death certificates, I thought of just dying like that. But what happened next was out of my expectation.

"I did not die. I was sucked and mutated. I was to become a Zerg Knight. At that point, I thought it would be good to become a Zerg Knight. I wouldn't be myself and I could take revenge on them... Who would have thought, I became a leader more advanced than Zerg Knights, the Queen of Blades...

"At that moment, I was in despair. Hantian was dead, I wanted to die but couldn't. I became neither human nor ghost. I wanted to return to take revenge. But when I thought of my parents—they brought me up, after all..."

Ji Zining took in a light breath. Hong Dali and the others were silent.

She had experienced such a terrible thing. This was not something that could be easily conceived by everyone. How much hardship had she suffered...

"I wandered alone in the universe..." Ji Zining smiled bitterly. "Time meant nothing to me, I did not have the concept of time. Perhaps it was one hundred years or maybe two hundred years... As I wandered, I found this planet unintentionally. Which in your words, is Earth..."

Ji Zining came to Earth previously! Why did she come here? What did she do?

In an instant, everyone's attention was on her!

"You came to Earth..." Hong Dali asked anxiously, "to do what?"

"Ah, nothing much." Ji Zining smiled. "This planet is beautiful. Although it's a little small, it's a pretty planet—the most important thing is that it was still in the age of ancient civilizations. Technology was completely absent. I couldn't bear to destroy this place. After all, although I'm the Queen of Blades, I have no malicious intention against other planets, especially this primitive planet that has not even been connected to the Galaxy Virtual Network."

Ji Zining looked around gently. Although they were in a desert, in her eyes, it was so beautiful...

"At that moment, I was thinking, what a beautiful planet this is. If Hantian did not die, I would retire here with him, adopt a few beautiful children, and live happily for the rest of our lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful?

"It's a pity. None of those could be done anymore. We can't turn back time, can we?

"So, I planted a small seed here. It will grow slowly and germinate slowly. One day, it will grow up. That will be when I will return..."

Wait, this is too much information.

This Queen of Blades, Ji Zining, left a seed on Earth one to two hundred years ago. When this seed was fully grown, it would be the time she returned.

And now she's back. Her purpose...

"Oh my God! Sister Ji Zining!" Hong Dali was really good at flattering. By calling her "sister", he managed to pull their relationship closer. "The seed that you mentioned, is it... Sister Xiao Yi?!"

"Har?!" Hearing that, everyone was shocked!

Zerg Queen Zhang Yi, was the seed Ji Zining left behind?! In other words, she was Ji Zining's descendant?!

"That's right." Ji Zining waved at Thunder Angel. "Your name is Xiao Yi? Come here, my... descendant..."

Everyone was blown away!

The Zerg Queen, Zhang Yi, was just fond of bug genes. In the beginning, everyone thought that this was just a special hobby of hers. Who would have thought that she was really a descendant of the Zerg! A descendant of the Queen of Blades?! God, how many secrets are we hiding on Earth?! Mo Tianji! The descendant of the Queen of Blades! Dali beans! All kinds of magical things...

Treasures, Earth was full of treasures!

The Thunder Angel slowly transformed and a conveyor belt linked to the ground.

After all, with the Queen of Blades and Emperor Beetle here, if they really fought, it might not be safe even in the Thunder Angel. They might as well face them and talk matters out...

Hence, Zhang Yi came down on the conveyor belt.

She soon arrived before Ji Zining.

"Such a beautiful child." Ji Zining raised her hand which was full of scales and slowly touched Zhang Yi's face. "You look so much like me when I was younger..."

This world was simply too crazy! Who would have thought that the Ji Zining who was exiled would become Queen of Blades? The Zerg Queen Zhang Yi who appeared on Earth was actually her descendant!

Although Ji Zining did not specifically explain the details, one could guess what happened...

Simply put, Ji Zining left a seed with Zerg genes on Earth. Somehow it was planted in a person on Heavenly State on Earth. And this person's descendant carried Zerg genes—

God, didn't that mean that Zergs knew the Earth inside out from the start?! It was only because of Ji Zining that they did not attack Earth!

Which meant Ji Zining had been protecting Earth all long?!

Damn, could there be less information?! This was too much—but thinking about it again, this got interesting. Dali had connections even with the Zergs now?!

Zhang Yi was shocked. She did not know what to greet this predecessor who stood before her. She couldn't possibly call her "old ancestress"...

"I... how should I greet you?" Zhang Yi's face turned red, her heart beating fast. Her combat power was strong, but this was not something that could be settled by force. Besides, the person standing before her was her predecessor. "Am I really your descendant?"

"Just call me 'Sister,'" Ji Zining said gently. "Although you carry the genes which I planted on Earth, you are not considered my offspring. So you can just call me 'Sister'. That sounds more affectionate."

"Sister Zining." Zhang Yi giggled as she hugged Ji Zining's arm. "Then... what is your motive for coming to Earth..."

"I'm here for a special reason." Ji Zining looked at the Granzon that Hong Dali rode on. "How about you come down and we can talk? Although your mecha is made of Immium ore and has a very strong defense. But if a war really breaks out, you might be fine, but the others won't be as lucky—So, don't worry. I really just want to talk to you properly, okay?"

Chapter 819: Was it Wrong to Be Too Outstanding?

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Ji Zining was not wrong. There was an obvious disparity in their might, and if they really started fighting, no one knew what the outcome would be.

"No problem." Hong Dali agreed immediately. "However, I have a condition. My little Bai Hechou cannot come down! If you do not agree to this, there will be no negotiation!"

Little Bai Hechou was the last bargaining chip in this negotiation. They had to make sure nothing happened to him.

"That's fine." Ji Zining nodded. "No problem. I agree to your condition."

As long as she agreed to this, that was fine.

And soon, everyone was seated in a circle in the desert.

It was a strange scene.

A fifty-thousand-meter-long Emperor Beetle was coiled on the ground protecting the people within its coils from winds and sand. More than eight hundred Zerg Knights stood guard around the perimeter. Hong Dali and the others sat in a circle with the Queen of Blades. Zhang Yi was holding onto Ji Zining's arm—if the reporters got wind of this, this would probably be their headline: Epochal meeting—Humans and Zerg meet for peaceful talks about the basic outline of future developments in the Milky Way...

Everything suddenly sounds so much more sophisticated, right?!

"Sister Zining," Hong Dali sniffled, then asked, smiling, "since everyone is calm and seated, shouldn't you tell us why you have come to Earth? What is going on? How come I can't figure it out?"

There were obviously numerous motives for Zining's visit to Earth this time, but no one could figure out what exactly was going on. More importantly, there were a lot of key points that were unclear.

Most importantly, it was obvious that her purpose for coming to Earth was little Bai Hechou and Zhang Yi. But now, it seemed that there were some parts which were really strange. For example, Hong Dali could not figure out why she had come with so many Zergs—she could have just come by herself, they could have discussed everything peacefully...

"Hehe, I have come because there are a few things that need to be dealt with." Ji Zining said slowly, "Firstly, the inducement to become King Zerg has appeared here, that is, those amazing gems which increase health. It's not that they don't exist in other parts of the universe, but they are extremely rare. These gems are needed to stabilize the gene sequence during the evolution to King Zerg. Otherwise, the body will fall apart. This is why there are so few King Zergs."

So that was why!

Realization slowly dawned upon everyone. It seemed that they were wrong before. They had always thought that Zhang Yi and little Bai Hechou were the inducement to become King Zerg!

"The making of a King Zerg requires a large number of Zerg. The amount of inducement that appeared here this time is plentiful, so more Zergs have come. Most importantly, there is a lot of the inducement here, so there is a chance to evolve the strongest Zerg unit, the Golden Emperor Beetle! That's what this big guy behind me is."

Emperor Beetle! This big guy was the strongest Zerg unit, the Emperor Beetle!

Speaking of which, Hong Dali had thought all along that it was a King Zerg...

"It is very hard for Emperor Beetles to be born. It requires four King Zerg to appear at the same time. They have to fight each other until one is left and the survivor has to eat up the others, then eat the health gems to stabilize the gene sequence before they can evolve into the strongest unit, the Emperor Beetle. It's okay for you to know all this as there's more I need to tell you after this."

"All right." Hong Dali sighed. "It seems that there is quite a lot of good things on Earth... that's why so many of you came? But there is still something I just don't get, why did you destroy those other planets? Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are gone just like that, thanks to you..."

This was one of the very important things he had to know. Why did the Zerg destroy those three planets? Because they were tasty?

"That's simple." Ji Zining said, "If we didn't do that, would the people on Earth be willing to move? If they did not move, wouldn't there be more dead?"

Damn! After all that, the Zerg only wanted to get the people on Earth to move away? So that they could evolve? This... that...

"You're ruthless." Hong Dali sniffled hard. "If I had not happened to just buy a planet, wouldn't we..."

"Even if you had not bought the planet, you would have moved anyway. The only difference is that it would have been more troublesome." Ji Zining smiled and said, "After that, we purposely leaked the news that your son Bai Hechou was our target. As expected, you chose to stay. You know the rest. You stayed and I was able to meet with you, resulting in us having this chat while seated peacefully here. Isn't it so?"

Alright, she obviously had superior intelligence. Every single thing that had happened so far was within her expectation.

"However, honestly speaking, what you did really surprised me." Ji Zining spoke highly of Hong Dali and the others. "In such a disadvantaged situation, you managed to achieve so much. It's beyond my expectations."

"Hehe, hehe." Hong Dali blushed a little. "So-so, so-so, haha, haha..."

At this time, Tang Muxin asked, "So, Sister Zining, the reason you are looking for little Bai Hechou is..."

"It's because of the Emperor Beetle." Ji Zining glanced at Thunder Angel. "The genes of little Bai Hechou are highly compatible with the Zerg gene. After he fuses with Emperor Beetle, they can evolve into the strongest knight, the Star Knight. His monolithic combat power will also increase exponentially! As for Xiao Yi..." Ji Zining looked at Zhang Yi and said softly, "My life is about to come to an end. The reason I came for her this time is to pass my position on to her. In the future, she will be the next Queen of Blades, the brain of the Zergs! All Zergs will be under her control."

"Wait a minute." Hong Dali rubbed his temples vigorously. "The amount of information I'm getting today is a little too much." He thought for a while, and then said, "What you mean is that my Xiao Bai is going to fuse with this Emperor Beetle and become the strongest Star Knight, and Zhang Yi will inherit your mantle to become the Queen of Blades, right?"

"That's right." Ji Zining nodded. "This is not a hard decision to make, right?"

"It's so-so." Hong Dali looked at Zhang Yi. "Sister Zhang Yi, what do you say?"

"I..." Everyone's eyes were on Zhang Yi, and Zhang Yi was again shy. Her fingers twiddled the corners of her clothes, and she suddenly glanced secretly at Hong Dali. In a tiny voice, she asked, "Sister Zining, if I become the Queen of Blades, I... can I still... have a relationship with a human? Can I... can I still have children?"

"This..." Ji Zining was surprised by this question. Damn, who would have thought that Zhang Yi would raise this subject at a time like this? It was obvious she already had a target. She was behaving so suspiciously...

There was something fishy going on!

"I doubt it." Ji Zining sighed and shook her head helplessly, saying, "Look at me. Do you think I can have a relationship with a human, do you think I can have children with a human?"

Yes, she may look really cool and some people would not mind, but the problem was that she could not have children. There was nothing anyone could do about that...

"In that case... in that case, I don't want to become the Queen of Blades!" Zhang Yi was adamant. "If I cannot have children, cannot fall in love, then what is the point..."

Tang Muxin stretched out a slim little hand and gently put it on Hong Dali's waist. Then she pinched him hard!

Damn it!

He was innocent! Was it wrong to be too outstanding?!

Zhang Yi's words were close to Ji Zining's heart, and Ji Zining did not know what she could do. After a long pause, she said, "Yes, what is the point... but if you cannot become the Queen of Blades, you cannot become the Zerg's brain and the Zerg will be completely out of control. If that happened..."

She did not say anymore, but everyone knew what that meant.

Right now, the Zergs were under the control of the Queen of Blades, so everyone could sit down and talk calmly.

With the appearance of the Emperor Beetles, the consequences would be unthinkable if the Zergs went out of control!

Everyone became silent.

How should they handle this?

"Maybe, there might be a way." Ji Zining suddenly looked at Hong Dali. "Do you like my descendant?"

Eh! What is this?!

"Well..." Hong Dali opened his eyes wide. "This is not a good time to talk about that..."

"Enough nonsense!" Ji Zining's expression immediately turned cold, and electricity sparked on her fingertips. "Is my descendant not worthy of you?!"

Damn, why was she talking like a mother-in-law when she was not even Zhang Yi's mother?!

"Ah, haha, haha, it's not that." Hong Dali hurriedly tried to diffuse the situation. "Sister Zhang Yi is so beautiful and capable, how can I not like her? It's just that this is a little sudden and I am not prepared for it..."

"If you like her, that's good enough!" With Hong Dali's affirmation, Ji Zining immediately pushed Zhang Yi in front of him. "In that case, both of you have a relationship now! Remember, it must be spectacular! It must have enough posh, enough style! Be considerate and gentle! If my Zhang Yi says to go east, you are not allowed to go west, if she tells you to catch a dog, you are not allowed to grab a pheasant, do you hear me?!"

Li Yang said secretly to Ling Xiaoyi, "Sister Xiaoyi, why does that sound so familiar..."

Snigger!

Unable to contain herself, Xiaoyi laughed and said softly, "When we met Mistress the first time, that was how she lectured us..."

Chapter 820: Pick Up Girls, Young Master!

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Tang Muxin secretly pursed her mouth and buried her mournful face into Li Nianwei's arms. "Uh, uh, uh. Sister Nianwei, Dali got himself another one. Uh, uh, uh..." Of course, she said this to Tang Muxin secretly. She was well aware of the current situation, it was not a time to throw tantrums—that would have been deadly!

"This..." Hong Dali gulped. "Sister Zining, I... this... I don't have much experience..." He really did not. The attention he got from the girls around him, all things aside, at least he understood Tang Muxin and Li Nianwei's love for him. But Hong Dali was not the one who initiated it. To ask him to initiate and date someone, he really did not know what to do!

"Learn if you don't know how!" Ji Zining was decisive. "Do you know how to do everything the minute you were born? You have to slowly learn! Anyway, I'm not in a hurry!"

Damn, you may not be in a hurry but I am! I still have to squander! I have squandering missions! You may not be in a hurry, but I will die if I don't squander!

"In that case," Hong Dali got serious. "let's begin!" Time waits for no one. I'm really forced into it!

The lackeys cheered behind him, beating drums and clanging gongs. "For the future of all mankind in the universe, chase after girls, Young Master!"

Clang clang dong, clang clang dong...

Hence, Young Master Hong Dali's journey of chasing after girls began.

There was no one on Earth now. Everyone that was supposed to leave had left. It was convenient to go anywhere. There was no traffic jam or anything—it was not like they would get stuck in a jam since Hong Dali could fly. The Thunder Angel was indeed useful...

Young Master Hong Dali's level was pretty high. The first top, Merika White House...

A bunch of lackeys got the best dining table in the world. It was a special extended dining table used by the French Aristocrats. It was exquisitely made of pure rosewood. The chairs were all set with gold trimmings, cups, forks, knives, and chopsticks were sterling silver—The chopsticks were especially taken from Tianjing Palace in order to cater to Hong Dali's eating habits. As for the knife and fork, they were there to look exquisite. Hong Dali would not use such things. He was someone who went to a western restaurant to drink Chinese wine and eat fried rice...

No choice, he was rich enough to be capricious.

Of course, the weather was quite hot. But the Emperor Beetle floated in the sky to block everyone from the weather. Luckily for its fifty-thousand-meter-long body, that was sufficient to ensure good weather for everyone. It was clear and cloudless...

It was a candlelight dinner, specially-made candles, the best big red candles were placed on the table. A variety of western food used to bring up the atmosphere. The best steak had to be medium-well. Bacon mayonnaise, brewed Ginseng soup, Indonesia's number one frog soup—it did not matter if they were delicious or not, only with all the best dishes on the table was it sufficient to look extravagant and grand.

Next was the main course. It was a must to have a Manchu Han Imperial Feast in order to match with the prodigal's status.

The real Manchu Han Imperial Feast, 108 dishes, 108 side dishes, all carefully planned.

One hundred and eight dishes with one main dish placed in the middle of the table, with eighteen side dishes around it. That was the standard main dish in the Manchu Han Imperial Feast. Hence, 108 main dishes meant 108 tables. It was not just 108 dishes placed on a big table.

Hence the saying: a Manchu Han Imperial Feast was enough for a few hundred people to eat for one month. Although it was an exaggeration, it was definitely sufficient for a few hundred people to eat for a week!

There was no one on Earth anyway, for show's sake, a Manchu Han Imperial Feast was necessary. And it had to be eaten in Merika's White Palace! This was the way to be impressive!

Hence, this Manchu Han Imperial Feast was suggested by Hong Dali. Ling Xiaoyi arranged for everyone to help out a little to fill up all 108 tables!

The atmosphere was a little weird.

The Golden Emperor Beetle was above in the sky, covered with gold armor, very apt of Hong Dali's identity. On the ground, the soldiers who escaped from the space carriers sat at the 108 tables. Although they were not on the same side with the Zergs, things had changed and no one dared to do anything different. They were able to live, after all; no one wanted to die. The most important thing was that they were not fugitives, so they would not be punished.

Other than these soldiers, countless Zergs surrounded the entire Merika. Cars, buildings, steel, livestock, they ate everything they could see. They had to eat too. Hence, it became interesting—on the surface of Merika, other than the white house which Hong Dali and the rest were in, everything was eaten up by the Zergs. It became a barren piece of land.

Merika's President McGregor was sure to be shocked if he saw this.

En, hopefully, his heart was strong enough...

The atmosphere was very important when it came to dating. Hong Dali himself was very handsome, and there was nothing serious about him. Although he was a prodigal, he had a solid foundation. Others' family background never mattered to him. They would not be as rich as him, anyway. Zhang Yi was a beauty, no worse than Tang Muxin or Li Nianwei. Both of them looked very good together. The atmosphere was not bad, either. Grand and pompous. The place was full of candles, warm and romantic.

But the problem was, there were thousands of people present. Everyone was holding chopsticks or forks and knives. With so many pairs of eyes staring at them, it was difficult to engage in proper conversion.

Hong Dali could not utter a word. After a long period of time, he finally said something. "Everyone, eat and drink to your heart's content!"

Damn, are you holding a wedding dinner?

Everyone burst out in laughter. Everyone who was initially nervous and anxious felt more at ease in an instant.

"This brat," Although she didn't feel too good, Tang Muxin could only shrug her shoulders. "when he talked about the seven crucial points. At a time like this, he couldn't apply it at all!"

"Useless!" Ji Zining appeared displeased. "Why are you so useless? Can't you say some loving words?!"

Zhang Yi's face went red from embarrassment and did not know what to say...

"There are too many people here, I don't know what to say." Hong Dali appeared grieved. "Have you seen anyone dating with so many people staring at them? It has to be dark and late into the night at least..."

"Then you can kill someone and set a fire?" Ji Zining indeed spent time on Earth in Heavenly State during the ancient times. She was familiar with such sayings. "Don't dally. If you really can't do it, I have an idea. Both of you may return to the Thunder Angel, or find somewhere with nobody around and do what needs to be done first!"

Do what needs to be done? What was there that needed to be done?

"Sister Zining, the thing that needs to be done, you're referring to..." Hong Dali hurriedly asked.

"What else can there be." Ji Zining was an old monster who lived for three hundred years, she did not feel embarrassed when she spoke about it. "You're a man, she's a woman. The thing that you do between a man and a woman, is what needs to be done!"

"Sheesh—" Hong Dali drew in a cold breath. "That's, not too good, right?!"

Zhang Yi buried her head in her chest...

"Who told you to be so useless!" Ji Zining said angrily. "When I first came here, there was no such thing as a dating process. As long as our parents approved, we had to get married! Now I approved, get an Elder from your side. Once they approve, it's a deal!"

Damn! Power of a thunderbolt and the speed of lightning?!

"Dating." Hong Dali dragged Zhang Yi away. "We'll go date, alright?!"

If he let her continue, they might be sent straight to the room...

"Useless brat." Ji Zining vented her anger. "Timid like a mouse, you're a man, can't you act like one!"

Rubbish, with his fiancée sitting beside, what could he do?!

After Hong Dali dragged Zhang Yi away, he soon found the president's office within the White House. En, it's not bad here. Speaking of which, as someone from Heavenly State, I'm using the Merika President's office to pick up girls, that's f**king awesome. It's an entirely different level-up.

As soon as Zhang Yi entered the room, she quickly turned around in embarrassment. There was no one around, Hong Dali gently approached Zhang Yi and stretched out his hands to hug Zhang Yi's waist and said softly, "Sister Zhang Yi, I'm sorry..."

"Ah?" She did not expect the first thing he said to be words of apology. Zhang Yi was shocked. She started trembling as she asked softly, "Why... why are you sorry?"

Zhang Yi's figure was really good. Her waist was delicate and smooth, full of elasticity, especially since she often wore a small black leather outfit, her waist seemed even more slender. But her breasts were puffy and well-developed, almost bursting out of her clothes.

"Because I already have a fiancée." It was not appropriate to say this at this time. Hong Dali was such a person. He was honest and did not know how to coax girls. He showed all his feelings—you see, this is me. Like me if you wish, I won't force you if you don't like me.

He was the same when he was on Earth, single—see, I have neither money nor power. I have no parents. If you like me, good. If you don't like me, fine with me.

Unsurprisingly, no girls liked him...

"I, I know..." Of course Zhang Yi knew about Hong Dali and Tang Muxin. She closed her eyes briefly but could not stop trembling. "But, I... I know... I already like you..."
