As I stared at nothingness,
I felt the emptiness,
I asked myself all over again,
Why am I feeling this worthlessness?
Why am I drowning again with this loneliness?
Why does it feel like my life is a total mess?
Could this be a consequence?
A consequence of too much consciousness.
All I really want is to live happier,
Is it something I couldn’t afford?
All I really want is for life to be a bit easier,
But why does it keep sending me bullets and sword?
Is living supposed to be painful?
With these thoughts in mind,
This little girl hopes to throw away all her woes behind,
So, she grabbed a pen with the ambition to redefine,
To redefine a world that’s not seem to be aligned.
On the 21st Day of the 21st Year of the 21st Century,
I keep staring on a blank page,
Realizing how much of my life was spent on the backstage,
Realizing how the environment I grew up in turns into a cage,
I am totally anxious about what could’ve been in my life by this age.
With this restlessness,
I dreamed of finding calmness,
Calmness in putting thoughts into words,
Words that could bring me back to life.

A book written just to fill a heart’s void,
