I just returned from a nice morning walk. I love walking around my town, especially when it's not too hot. It's good for me and my health, and I get to see places I wouldn't normally take my time to explore.

However, sometimes when I visit a place that's very quiet, I do worry. Like today, I was walking in a park but it was hidden from the main road. I couldn't see the cars, I could barely hear them. I heard nothing, besides some birds chirping occasionally.

Some people would love that, the quiet sounds of nature. I do too, but it also makes me feel vulnerable. As I was walking there, on my own, I couldn't help but think about what could happen to me here.
Like what if someone takes me here, who would know? Who would know to look there? Who would see anything? No one would know, and I'd be one of those missing cases that wouldn't get solved.

I know it's bad to think that way but somehow, in this day and age, you've learned not to trust people you meet on your way out. It's quite sad until you remember all those missing stories...

Either way, I was glad when I walked back into society and especially when I got back home.
