/n was sitting on his bed with his lights off and the only source of light he has in his room was the monnlight coming through his window pane
Tomorrow was the semi finals, and he was feeling nervous.
What if he messed up just like the last time? Flashbacks of the game he had back then when he was still in the karasuno kept flashing through his mind making him more anxious than he already is
On his hand was a black Jersey with a kanji written in the back that reads 'Karasuno'
He gripped the fabric as he sighed, ge stood up and took off the purple Jersey and went towards in front of his mirror.
He stare at his reflectio, he noticed how his body have became ripped due to the trainings he had in shiratorizawa
He took notice of his face, dark bags under his eyes, pale complexion, his eyes have became dull, hair a mess, lips frowning.
When was the last time he took a good look at himself in front of a mirror?
Taking a deep breath and exhaling it all out, he wore the black Jersey and star at himself once again
His lips quivered as he noticed how the Jersey still fits him perfectly unlike the purple one which was a bit tight.
A knock erupted from his door startling him. Slowly, he opened the door and his eyes widened and felt his body became weak
There standing in front of him was his sister, she was smiling way him while her face was covered in fresh bruises
But what caught his attention more was behind her legs was a toddler hiding.
“Hi..” his sister said
Without thinking he pulled them inside his apartment and locked the door.
His sister sat on his sofa with the kid sitting behind her holding onto her arm, shaking in fear.
“I'm sorry... “ was the first thing she said once she entered the room
“Who was it?” Y/n asked gripping the doorknob with anger
“I-its nothing, I'm fine now.. We're fi-” She was cut off by Y/n slamming his fist on the door startling the two
“Bullshit, If you're fine then why the fuck are you covered in bruises!? WHO DID IT!?” Y/n yelled
“It was uncle...ever since mom got in jail he tried to look for you so I stopped him and received all the punishments..” She stuttered out while shaking in slight fear of what his brother might do to them
Her eyes widened when he heard him laugh, she looked at him with pure shock as he slides down the door with both his arms resting on top of his knees
“First mother, second father, now uncle? Damn I must be their favorite child huh?” he said sarcastically, his sister pursed her lips and looked away pulling the kid closer to her body
“The kid..who is he?” Y/n asked glancing at the kid clinging to his sisters arms
“S-shouto, Uncle enji said he didn't want him since shouto was not his son but the driver's” She said wiping her tears away as she ran her fingers through the kid's dual tone hair
Minutes have passed and shout have fallen asleep on her lap while Y/n remained on his position.
“You can stay here as long as you want, tomorrow I'll leave early since we have a match to attend to.” Y/n said standing up and going to his room
He grabbed his pillow and a blanket before going back to the living room.
“You can stay at my room I'm not taking a no as an answer, Go.” Y/n said in a low voice not wanting to wake up the kid
His sister smiled at him and placed a soft kiss on his temple before muttering a small thanks and leaving him frozen in his spot
His hand reached up to the are where she kissed him and felt tears running down his cheeks
This was the first time he felt affection from his family, even tho its a single kiss he still felt somewhat happy.
He laid down on the sofa with his arm covering his eyes since he couldn't sleep at all.
“Y/n..”
He sat up almost immediately once he heard his name being called.
“Come here..”
His head turned sideways hoping to find the owner of the voice, he threw the blanket off of his body and stood up
“Y/n..”
He turned towards the veranda and there he saw his brother smiling at him, he felt his body moved on its own towards natsuki.
“A..niki?” he asked as his steps slowly became faster
He saw him reached out a hand to him, he did the same. He was bumping into furnitures since it was dark
A loud thud woke up his sister, swinging he legs off the bed she made sure shouto was sleeping before leaving to go look for what's the cause of the loud thuds coming from the living room
Back to Y/n, he was so close into reaching out to his brother
“You Don't have to suffer anymore... Hold my hand and come with me..”
Y/n saw him backs away the railings, his eyes widened when he saw him fell so run towards him and climbed the railings and before he could jump he felt a hand grabbed his wrist pulling him back inside the apartment
“Y/N! OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!?” his sister yelled as she holds him close to her
“I- I saw Natsuki..” y/n sobs as he cried on his sisters shoulder
She bit her lower lips to prevent herself from crying, her hand rest on the back of his head while the other was caressing his back in a soothing manner
“Natsuki is already gone, Y/n..” She said, Y/n backs away and looked at her with bloodshot frantic eyes
“N-no, he's alive! He's here, I saw him! I saw him here! He called me, S/n, he called my name.” he said
She looked at him and felt her heart breaks into pieces as she noticed how broken her brother have become, pulling him into a tight hug she cried not because of natsuki but because of what happened to Y/n.
“I'm sorry... I'm so-sorry Y/n” she said sobbing
“Why...cant I live a normal life?” he asked sobbing
She pulled him closer and looked out of the veranda, her eyes glistening with tears as she stare at the moon
“I'm so sorry, Y/n.”
