Next morning
Ary-
I was woken up by the sunlight beaming on my face and I quickly squinted my eyes before stretching.
I looked up realizing I was still at Shawn's and my eyes went wide.
"Daddy is finna beat my asss.." I mumbled before feeling around the bed
Shawn wasn't in it but I had on one of his shirts and a pounding ass headache
Once I found my phone beside it I picked it up to see messages and missed phone calls from everyone.
I started by calling my ma and she answered quickly
"Ma I'm fine I fell asleep at Shawn's and-
"Ary we know now.. you lucky he called Jr to let him know or that would've been your ass." He started
"Ma-
"No I understand it was y'all's birthday and all but there's no reason why one of my 17 year old daughters Went MIA and the other one is blacked the fuck out while their big brother is trying to save them from getting caught by drowning her in a cold fucking shower all y'all asses is going to hear me, so you might as well take yo time before I do" she said before hanging up
I looked to the side in shock because usually my ma is the one attempting to save us but I guess she was fed up foreal this time.
The door cracked open and Shawn walked in
"How you feeling ?" He asked
"Headache" I said and he chuckled before holding up a bottle of Tylenol and a bottled water
I thanked him before taking two and stretching Again.
"Did I do anything crazy ?" I asked
"You flashed everybody" he said and my eyes went wide
"Nah I'm just fucking with you, you was just becoming touchy with a bunch of random niggas." He said and I shook my head
"Never drinking again."
"Yea well yo cousin threw up on my carpet so" he said and my mouth dropped
That's so embarrassing..
"I'm sorry " I chuckled and he shook his head before waving me off
"I'm just glad you had fun" he said before looking at me
We started staring at each other for a while before the door opened again and his sister walked in
"Foods ready, he cooked for you too Ary" she said before leaving
"I don't want him to see me hungover and looking like this.." I said and he chuckled
"You're beautiful you'll be fine" he said and I gave him a small smile
He got up before handing me a pair of
Sweats and I slid them on before throwing my hair into a ponytail
"Rlly don't want him to see me looking like this I look like a alcoholic" I sighed and he chuckled
"Ary he's seen me and Janiya waaay worst, but it's a rag and a extra tooth brush in my bathroom if that'll help crybaby" he said and I stuck my tongue out at him while flipping him off and going into the bathroom
I washed my face and brushed my teeth before softly walking down the stairs to see them making plates and Shawn handed me one
"Good morning, I'm not a coin but it's the least I could do for since I didn't get to wish you a happy birthday." He said and I smiled
"Good morning and thank you" I told him before taking the plate from Shawn
He had made pancakes, bacon, fried eggs, and biscuits and I honestly felt so special
He started playing Tupac and started vibing his head causing Shawn to look at him with embarrassment. I laughed before shaking my head at how funny he was
"Tried to raise yall off of Tupac and yall missed out but Ary knows her music so it don't matter ain't they right ?" He asked and I smiled before nodding
"Daddy it's too early" Janiya whined and he smiled ignoring him
They're dad was honestly a happy soul. I love my daddy to death but sometimes I wish he was as positive and that he didn't put himself in the danger that he does.

As Shawn pulled down my block I looked up before speaking
"Thank you for looking out and talking me into actually doing something" I told him and he nodded
"Always and I'm just glad you had fun." He said before pulling into my driveway
"You gon be in trouble" he asked and I laughed
"You know I'm finna get the cuss out" I said and he chuckled
We sat in silence for a while before he spoke
"Let me ask you sum" he started before turning towards me and I looked at him
"Would you ever look at me as somebody other then a best friend to you?" He asked and I smiled
"Hmm why ?" I replied
He took a while before licking over his bottom lip shaking his head and smiling
"Because I can't look at you that way no more, and I haven't been able too for a while " he admitted before we both made eye contact
"Da'shawn-
Before I could finish I felt him place his hand on my chin before softly turning me back towards him and I instantly felt his soft lips against mine.
After a while he pulled back and I shook my head before smiling
"Ight Ima continue to wait for you, but I would you look at me in that way?" He asked again
Before I could speak I heard a tap on the window and I looked up to see my daddy.
Thank god the windows were tinted.
"I'll call you." I said before grabbing my things and quickly opening the door
"Nah why you rushing now?" My daddy asked and I sighed as I continued walking
"So you don't hear me talking to you ?" He asked as I opened the door to the house
"Aryhel !" He yelled causing me to stop
I turned around before looking at him and looking off to the side
"Ayo don't do that shit." He started before coming closer
"I have a headache and I honestly can't right now daddy-
"Hell yea yo ass gon have a headache since you can't handle shit responsibly. Like damn it's y'all's 17th I didn't expect y'all to fucking color but if you gon do that shit at least watch what you doing and let us know what the fuck is going on !" He sis and I shook my head
"Ok."
"Okay?" He asked before furrowing his eyebrows and shaking his head
"Ary go upstairs and I swear to god if it isn't you having to use the bathroom then don't fucking leave it." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows
"Huh?"
I understand completely why he'd be upset or worried. But I wasn't in the right state to call him or I would've. Shawn called first thing and he's lucky I didn't get drunk like that somewhere where I didn't feel comfortable. I knew where I was and I knew I was safe there for I wasn't irresponsible.
"That doesn't make any sense" I said shaking my head
"On Am I suppose to just let shit like they slide ? Am I suppose to let y'all run around wild doing what the fuck y'all want ?" He asked
"No you're not being fair.."
"Cause I'm being a FATHER !" He yelled causing me to jump a little
"Damn like I understand I joke with y'all a lot and believe it or not we give y'all way more freedom then we should cause if anything we would rather y'all telling us then sneaking around but at the end of the day I have to be a dad. I have to discipline y'all and y'all are damn near eighteen y'all should understand that shit by now" he said and I looked off to the side.
"Go upstairs." He added
I sighed before turning around and going upstairs
Liyah-
I was woke up from my nap by my phone ringing from a unknown number.
Half asleep I answered anyways before mumbling
"So why the fuck was you dancing on that nigga ?"
I instantly squinted my eyes before sitting up recognizing the voice
"Marcus ?"
"Uhh Liyah ? The fuck." He said and I smacked my teeth
"Nigga you just disappeared for weals and you're worried about me dancing on a nigga for my birthdayy? Nigga did you even tell me happy birthday or think to check in after I've been trying to check on you ?"
"Liyah-
"No Marcus like are you serious right now ?" I asked and I heard talking in the background
"Im sorry, but I got shit going on right now and I've just been trying to keep my distance from you right now. But all jokes aside you need to watch what yo little ass is doing." He said and I sighed
"What's going on Demarcus ?" I asked
He hung up the phone and I looked at it with confusion.

Kash-
I got in my car and started rolling up until Kay started calling
"Where you at ?" She asked instantly and I smacked my teeth
"Damn well hey beautiful." I chuckled and she smiled
"Hey sexy where you at ?" She asked again
"I'm at the crib rolling up something to calm my nerves from yo twin towers." I said and she smacked her teeth
"How dis that go?"
"I think I handled it well somewhat" I said and she tilted her head
"Okay I handled it better then I would've. Usually I would take them phones and beat they ass, but even tho Liyah came in fucked up too she didn't break curfew so I didn't really say nothing to Liyah, Ary ? I don't know what went through her head " I said before I began
Licking over my blunt
I noticed Kay staring causing me to furrow my eyebrows
"What?"
"Wish I could be licked like a blunt" she said before poking out her bottom lip and I smacked my teeth before laughing
"I got you when you get off mama."
"Don't tell me that I'll clock out early, fuck this next client " she said before resting her head down on the desk
"Nah get yo lil money." I said and she sighed
"We need a vacation, let's go to Pensacola Florida or something" she said and I chuckled
"You gotta get yo twin towers under comtrol first."
"Bae I'm talking about with just us, I mean yea we can take a family trip soon to like Cali or something, but we need a break don't you think?" She asked and I nodded
"No?"
"When do I ever tell you no kayonna ?" I asked and she laughed
I lit my blunt before taking a puff and resting my head back
"I love you." She mumbled
"I love you more."
