He sat another chair while I sat on my chair. I ignored his question and said with smile, "I didn't know you also have come."
He nodded, "Suhana invited me that's why I have to come."
I asked, "how are you? And how is everything?"
He chuckled, "Everything is fine." Then he took deep breath and asked, "I looked you and shlok. You are looking happy with him. Last time, I asked you what's going on between you? You told me nothing.... But now.... Do you like him?"
I sighed, "That time, nothing was between us. But now everything is changed." I looked at him and said, "Tushar, it's your fault. If you didn't leave us that time and married with Suhana. Suhana would not meet Rohan and I would not meet Shlok.
Then everything would be different and everyone would be happy. As I said before,I would give you my words that I wouldn't married in this lifetime."
Tushar didn't reply anything immediately but asked after thinking, "Then what would happen to you? Would you be happy? If you meet shlok, would you not with him... Like now?"
I pursed my lips and said with determined, "I would give you my words. Then how would I go against my words?" I thought in that way shlok would have no feelings for me and he would be happy in his life.
Tushar asked with raising his eyebrows, "Rashmi, do you like him or not? Because I know you very well. You will not with him if you have no feeling for him."
I smiled because he knew me very well. When I didn't accept him because I don't have feelings for him. how can I be with any other person?
I didn't reply him directly but told him, "Tushar, I met Kavish few days ago because of business purpose." I noticed he clenched his fits. I smirked he even hated him till now. I knew Tushar already knew that I was helping him to build his political career. I continued, "Do you know what he started the topic? It's about our college time. He asked me if he said you tricked him that time, what will be my response?"
Tushar looked at me and said, "Rashmi, you already know about it. Why are you discussing know?"
I smirked, "Tushar, I didn't finish till yet.
He sighed, "ok, I am listening."
I continued, "I told him I already knew it but after that I chose you." I laughed lightly, "That time, you were really important for me. I was ready for do anything for you." He looked at me with widened eyes. And I continued, "But you know what he asked me after that. He asked me if shlok would be instead of him, who would I chose?"
Tushar looked at me questioning eyes. I told with honesty, "if that would be case, I chose Shlok. I didn't know in past,who would I chose but now, I will choose Shlok. I think you know your answer."
I was hurt to look his expression but Its true. Shlok is more important for me. Because of him, I again started to think about my life. I want to survive for him.
I heard a voice behind my back, "Rashmi."
Before I turned back and looked at him, he came beside my chair. I stood up from my chair and he put his arm on my waist. He caressed my hair with affection and said, "everyone is asking for you. The dinner is served."
I looked at his expression. I knew he already heard everything what I said to Tushar. It's not that I was upset because I didn't want to hide from him anything. My past is part of my life. If he couldn't accept my past, how can we be happy in future?
I nodded and looked towards Tushar, "I have to go now."
Tushar stood up and looked to us. He warned Shlok, "Take care her otherwise the consequence will not be in your favour."
After saying it, he left without getting any response from Shlok. Shlok looked at me with confusion. I smiled and said with caressed his cheek, "Don't overthink about it. He is like it."
He nodded and said with frown, "he doesn't need to remind me. I will always take care you."
I nodded with smile and kissed on his cheek, "I know. Now let's go."
He nodded and we went to dinning area. Our families were seated on big rectangular table. One side was my family while other side was Rohan's family. From today onwards Suhana is family member of Rohan's family that's why she was with Rohan and his family. I looked at table for my seat but Shlok dragged me towards his family side. He pulled a chair beside Suhana and pointed me to seat. I blinked my eyes and noticed what's the suitation. It's not wrong to sit my sister. That's why I sat and shlok sat beside me. The dinner was already started that's why he put the healthy dishes on my plate. Everyone in our families were used to his behaviour that's why nobody said anything. Even, he didn't let me spend much time with my family or cousins. Everyone protested in starting but because of his defence nature, nobody said further.
I smiled and enjoyed my meals. Everyone was cracking joke on table but Shlok denied to give more attention on jokes, "It's not good for your health."
Everyone rolled their eyes because of his protective nature and I had no objection with it that's why nobody said anything.
After dinner, it's was mandap time. Everyone gathered together on mandap. When the function started, I put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. He asked with concern, "What happened?"
I said with tired expression, "I am sleepy."
There were matteress on the ground. And we were seated on them. He asked someone for quilt and he wrapped me with quilt. He took me into his arms and said in low voice, "ok sleep. I will wake you up when it's finish."
I pouted, "But I want to hear vows."
He caressed my cheek, "Don't worry. Hear it in our marriage. And if you want, I can tell you later."
I smiled and nodded, "ok"
As I took comfortable position into his arms, I slept soundly even I sat.
When I was sleeping, suddenly I felt pain in my heart. I was feeling suffocation. I clenched tightly his shirt. I knew I was sleeping into his arms. I could hear the sounds around me.
Shlok noticed my suitation and asked with wiping my sweats on my forehead, "Rashmi, what happened?" I could hear his panic voice.
It's unbearable pain. I put my finger on his lips. It's hard but I was succeed after many attempts. My fingers were trembling because of pain, "Shhh..... Doonnt tell annyyoonnee."
He tried to open his mouth but shut after knowing the suitation. He lifted me carefully and took steps outside. I heard someone asked, "What happened shlok?"
He responded with calm voice, "It's uncomfortable to sleep here for her. I am taking her into room."
Nobody suspected him. When I feel fresh air on my face and body and I heard his worried voice, "Don't worry Rashmi. We are going hospital."
I held his sherwani tightly, "Iittsss hurttt." My tears were dropping from my eyes first time. I didn't know because of him or pain.
I felt the car was riding on road and I got unconscious.
When I opened my eyes, I was in hospital bed. I noticed somebody hold my hand. I was feeling slightly pain. I looked at him and tried to smile but failed, "Shlok."
He looked at me and there was some relaxation expression on his face, "Rashmi, you wake up."
He pressed the button to call doctor. The doctor came and examined me. He suggested, "Mr Garg, we can't delay to operation anymore. It will be more risky."
Shlok nodded, "Ok doctor, get start preparation now."
He said, "after ond hour, we will take her to OT. Remember, she needs more rest. "
Shlok nodded and the doctor left. Shlok sat on bed carefully and said, "Rashmi, everything will be right."
I opened my mouth, "Shlok what if....."
But he didn't let me finish, "Rashmi, don't say anything. Nothing will happen to you. We will get married soon. You will take care me and raise our children properly. We will get old together."
I nodded because I wanted it.
Then I heard the door opened and my family and his family came together. I looked at them they were in function dress. Then I noticed shlok also was in sherwani.
Before I could say anything, Suhana explained, "Rashmi, shlok bhaiya took you hospital between telling us. After finishing function,we searched for both of you. Then hotel staff member told us both of left the hotel. When we called the shlok bhaiya,he told us you are in hospital."
I said, "At least, all of you changed your dressed first."
Deep bhaiya said, "How could we when you are in this condition?"
I said with helplessly, "I am fine."
Shlok told everyone, "She is right. I am with her and doctor told her to rest."
Everyone nodded with pursing their lips and left the room after asking my condition.
Shlok caressed my hairs, "just relax."
I nodded and As I closed my eyes, we heard the knock on door. Then my friends entered. I looked everyone one by one.
There were a lot of memories into my mind. I smiled and commented, "You came together like you came into my funeral."
Everyone frowned. But I felt Shlok held more tightly my hand.
Then I heard Tushar disappointed voice, "Rashmi, why didn't you tell me before? Did you give up to search me because you found about it?"
I closed my eyes and said indifferently, "You knew very well. Then why are you asking?"
Then I heard his angry voice, "Rashmi, if it's my punishment, I accept my punishment with wholeheartedly."
Then I heard the door opened sound and closed. Shlok caressed my cheek, "It's ok Rashmi."
I nodded without opening my eyes. My friends left room after saying, 'get well soon.'
After an hour, the nurses dragged my wheel chair into OT room. The doctor gave me injunction and I lost my conscious.

Note: Guys I am thinking to write epilogue of this story but I didn't decide till yet that Rashmi should be survive or not. I am confused for epilogue. Please give your suggestions.
