They were in their backyard training so K'aris could learn to use her powers.

She nodded and took three deep breaths before focusing on the bottle " Freeze" she whispered
She opened her eyes but nothing happened, she sucked her teeth and tried again " Freeze" but nothing happened
She closed her eyes and Zaia appeared
" Zaia why it's not working?" she asked confused
" Your mind isn't on the bottle, your mind is on what's gon happen to the bottle two different things babygirl" she explained

" Focus on the object and not the consequences" she said before disappearing
K'aris took two big breaths before focusing on the bottle and not the consequences just like her spirit said.
" Freeze" she whispered
She opened and saw that the bottle froze
"Good job mama" he encouraged her
" Now try to make fire appear just like dhet" he showed her--he whispered " Fire" and there was fire in his hands.
" Okay" she nodded
" Cmon K'aris you can do it" her spirit encouraged her
She focused on the fire and whispered " Fire"
She opened her eyes and saw fire in her hands causing the both of them to smile--she was naturally good at using her powers.
" Now make it disappear" he said-" But how?" she asked confused
" Figure it out" he smirked

She tried closing her hands then opening them back up but the fire was still thea
She focused on her hands and whispered

K'aris snapped her fingers and the fire was gone " See it wasn't that hard" Mani smiled
" Hush" she mushed his head smiling
But then she felt weird again " Show me" she whispered
In her vision she saw two most demons and not humains coming their way
" Shit" she cursed
" What's wrong princess?" he asked
" We not alone,demons are coming over hea" she expained " How you know?" he asked
" I felt and saw it" she shrugged
"Aight you gon use yo powers just like you did right now aight" he looked at her
She nodded and took big breaths--she seen they was coming their way and regained her composure
She figured than since they were demons it would be easier to use ice
" Freeze" she whispered
He froze for a second but then came back to normal
" WTF" she hollered
D'emanis was to busy fighting the demon to even acknowledge what had happened but he knew K'aris was fine cause if she wasn't he would've felt it in his heart.
" Cmon K'aris think" Zaia encouraged her
" Fire" she whispered but this time she formed a fire ball with her hands and threw it at the demon
She then snapped her fingers so the fire could disappear
" Ask him where he come from?" Zaia said
" But how?"
" one of your many powers is persuasion, use it " she disappeared
" Zaia you really no help" she mumbled before looking at the demon who was now on the ground
" Where you come from?" she asked him but he didn't respond
" Persuasion" she whispered before opening her eyes seeing a white light in her hand
" Where you come from?" she asked again but this time she put the white light in his face
" Satan sent us" he replied
" Why?" he asked
" To get his son back"
" Wtf" she mumbled but before she could react the demon put her in a headlock till she couldn't breathe
She looked around looking for D'emanis but there was no sign of him
" Don't worry bout ya lil boyfriend he's coming witchu to hell" he mumbled before snapping his fingers
And that's the last thing she heard before blacking out
