Remus's pov: oop hey moony
It's been a few weeks since y/n's break up and when I tell you how mad Sirius was when he found it, he was mad
If you didn't know already, Padfoot is alive but only Tonks and I are the ones who know
We had peter pettigrew under the Imperius Curse before he had been given polyjuice potion with a hair strand from Sirius
Sirius had to make everyone believe he was dead so the deatheaters would lay off our backs for a bit
Then you know the rest but Sirius has been staying at Tonks holiday house which was just out of town
He still refuses to listen to us when we tell him to not go out so we've given up on trying
But today was the day he could come home, it's definitely hard as everyone thought he died and we have no clue how y/n would react but I'm just hoping for the best at this point
Y/n's pov:
I'm in my room when Tonks and Remus come into my room
"Hey guys, what's up?" I say closing the book I was reading
They both share a nervous kind of look which kinda scares me
"Is everything okay?" I ask confused
"Y/n before we tell, well-, show you what this is, you need to at least promise us you won't get mad and we had a reason for this" Remus says
"What's going on?" I ask getting worried
"Just promise us, please y/n" Tonks says
"Okay, I promise" I say nodding as whatever they're about to tell or show me seems quite serious
They look at each other before nodding and telling me to follow them
They lead me to dads room whos door is closed
I furrow my brows in confusion as Tonks places her hand on my back in a reassuring way
Remus looks at Tonks who nods as he slowly opens the door
I'm blanked for a second before the door is opened fully
I'm still confused before a figure stands in front of a window
Knowing exactly who it is, I gasp not believing this was true
I even try to pinch myself to get out of this dream like state before I realise it's not a dream at all
But in fact it's reality
The person turns around, revealing the one person I've known all my life
I stand there not being able to move before he smiles, immediately winning me over as I run up to him, jumping into his arms as tears well up into my eyes
I sob in dads arms as he holds me in the tightest hug ever, not wanting to let go
Remus and Tonks have already left the door, but instead head downstairs to the kitchen
We eventually pull away from the hug, me still in grave shock
"W-what I, h-how" I fumble my words not even being able to say one word as dad pulls me back into his hug
"I know dear, I can't even express to you how angry I am at myself for leaving you" he says running his hand on my head
"It's okay dad" I say looking up at him
"I just feel so bad, especially since I couldn't be there when that stupid weasley broke up with you, I mean who would break up with the one and only y/n black? I mean come on" dad says making me laugh
"I'll explain everything to you later" I say smiling
He nods before we both head downstairs to where Tonks and Remus are
"Feels good to not have to walk on my 4 paws anymore" Sirius says pulling Remus into a hug, then Tonks
The four of us end up having lunch together and I must say, it feels so good to have dad back
Time skip ~
Lunch ended a while ago and Remus went out to do some order work while Tonks went to visit her family for a bit
Dad and I have been talking in my room when he brings up the topic I've been dreading
"So are you going to tell me what happened between you and Fred? I thought you two were endgame?" he says sitting on my bed
"We were, at least I thought we were but he just wouldn't let me explain myself when nothing was my fault" I say as I explain the whole story to him
He pulls me into a hug, his hand running down my back
"Y/n dear as much as I despise him for what he has done to you, you two were and always are meant to be. No matter how long you're apart for or how long you both don't talk to each other, deep down you both know you still love each other" Dad says slightly shocking me at how good he was at these topics
I thank him before I hear the front door open
"Y/n?! Remus?! Tonks?! Your favorite weasleys are here!" Ron shouts out from downstairs
I give dad a look in which he gives me one back that says "I'm ready"
I shout out to tell them know someones home before I open my door, dad taking a minute as I head downstairs
I greet the family before I take them into the kitchen, letting them know I need to tell them something
"Okay so I had only just found out today and trust me, it's quite a big shock I-" I get cut off by Molly
"Oh my dear, are you pregnant? oh I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, is-" I cut her off politely by saying
"Woah! Molly I'm not pregnant, I assure you that's not what I'm talking about" which the poor lady lets out a breathe of relief
"Anyways I think it's better if I just show you, DAD!" I shout out noticing the faces of the family now very shocked
Dad walks through the doors and stands next to me, looking at the family who all stare back at him with wide shocked faces
Ron who mid way had a chip in his hand and the other in his mouth was shocked too
After 10 seconds of silence, Molly doesn't resist to embrace Sirius in the tightest motherly hug ever
Molly sheds a few tears which she wipes away before she scolds sirius for giving everyone the biggest fright of their life
After dad explains to her the reason, she seems to have calm down a bit, a bit.
Everyone greeted Dad with a hug or a handshake before Molly gets started on dinner
Remus and Tonks have arrived with Harry and Hermione and greeted the family as well
Harry had the saddest reaction when he saw Sirius
It's not everyday you see Harry James Potter shed a few tears here
Hermione greeted Sirius as well but we all tucked into Molly's infamous beef stew with break sticks on the side
Time skip ~
It's way past dinner and Dad insisted on the weasleys to spend the night as it was quite late
Hermione came to my room while Harry went with Ron to his
Hermione was brushing her teeth in the bathroom when dad walked in
"So quite a big day huh?" he says taking a seat next to me on my bed
"Yeah, wait so you were the black dog I saw everyday at Diagon Alley?" I say remembering those times
"Yep, I had to make sure you were safe every now and then" he says
"And you were the one to plant that toy of your animagus in that store all those weeks ago?" I say already knowing the answer
He nods before wishing me a goodnight sleep as I yawn, standing up
I don't think twice before going up to him and pulling him into a tight hug
"I'm really glad your here dad, I missed you a lot" I say against his chest
"I missed you so much darling, you wouldn't even know" he says planting a kiss on the top of my head
"I love you dad" I say
"I love you too my dear" he says before pulling out of the hug
I smile at him before he leaves, leaving the door open as Hermione walks through the door
She gives him a smile in which he returns before she closes the door but leaving it slightly open
"I must say it was quite shocking to see your dad walk in, I would never expected it" Hermione says going onto the pull out bed and under the covers
"Me too but I'm glad he's back" I say
We walk for a bit before we bid each other goodnight
I turn off my lamp before turning over and drifting off into a deep sleep
