the place reeked. it smelled like everything people their age (or in general) shouldn't be doing.
but, they were here to have fun. not get into trouble.
the actual music festival didn't start until 6.
it was 4:30 so they had some times to kill.
they were walking around. they had just gotten Cotton candy. they were all sharing some really big one they got that howie was holding.
all of the sudden nini bumped into someone.
just as she was about to fall the person gripped her waist and she placed her hands on their shoulder.
and it was as if everything was in slow motion.
they looked into each other's eyes. she knew those eyes.
"it's you!"
"it's you!"
they hugged, tight. he spun her around then set her back on the floor.
"what're you doing here icky?" she asked excitedly.
"me!? what are you doing here panini" he hugged her again and she gladly excepted it putting her arms around his neck.
"am i the only one who is actually really, really, confused right now?" kourtney said looking at her friend group and what she assumed was the boys'.
"oh" nini started as she let go of the hug. "guys, this is ricky, ricky these are my legendary best friends"
ricky had his arm around nini's shoulder with a big smile on his face.
he took out his left hand for them to shake.
they all politely did and gave him a smile back.
"ricky, where did you meet this sweet little ball of joy and why was i never informed?" gina asked crossing her arms.
nini blushed slightly at gina's comment. sinking more into ricky's touch, putting her arm around his waist.
"um, we met on the plane ride here, and i dunno, it never came up" he said shyly.
"well, are you gonna say our names or are we just gonna stand here in the middle of this place?" ej asked as he laid his head on gina's shoulder.
"um, this is kourtney, howie, seb, and carlos" she pointed to each and they all waved.
"as you can see, they're couples, and im lonely"
she said with a thumbs up making ricky laugh.
"and this is gina, ej, big red, and ashlyn" ricky said pointing to them.
"and again, same story here, there's couples and i'm lonely" he said laughing.
"hey, we can be lonely together icky" nini said with a smile.
"how do you guys already have, adorable, nicknames already?" carlos asked.
"oh, we texted the other day" ricky said like it was nothing.
"is that who you were talking to?!" seb asked excitedly.
"awe nini did you talk about me?" ricky said had he tickled her side.
she giggled and removed his fingers from her side.
"ha ha ha, so funny bowen" she said in a dry tone.
"ok, let's go get churos because i'm hungry" ricky said as he grabbed nini's hand dragging her along with him.
"ok?" she said with a giggle.
"can we all agree that they're already more then friends?" red said laughing.
"yep" they all said at the same time.
the group quickly got along considering the fact that they were all couples.

"so your bio on twitter says that you play basketball, tell me more about that" she says as she swings there interlocked hands.
"uh, yeah, rather not talk about it, kinda boring really" he spoke.
"pffft, basketball is not boring mr." she said in a duh tone.
"didn't know you were a sporty girl, nini" he said kind of shocked.
"um, sweets i'm a dancer, of course i'm sporty" she said confidently.
"omg you and gina are gonna be best friends, she's a dancer too" ricky said happy.
"yes!" she laughed.

after they got back with the churos they all started talking and getting along. quickly becoming close friends.
the festival started soon after and they were all dancing and screaming together.
the night mostly consisted of ricky and nini singing to each other in each others' arms.
at the end of the night just as they were about to go back to their hotels nini had a question. she faced ricky's friends.
"guys, can i get your numbers so i can make i big group chat that we can all talk in?" she asked in a hopeful tone.
ricky thought it was adorable in ever way so he decided to say so.
he leaned into her, near her ear and whispered "you're adorable" she was flushed, but decided to ignore it and waited for his friends, who at this point were her own, to answer.
"oh yeah, of course nini" ashlyn spoke.
they all exchanged numbers and left.

"uh oh, nina's fallinggggg" howie said in a singy song voice.
"shut up howie, your a butt" she threw a pillow at him.
"butttt you still love me" he winked.
she dramatically rolled her eyes.

red made his way to ricky, sitting down next to him.
"don't even lie to me richard, i know your already falling, deep, and hard" he said quietly almost not wanting the others to here.
"shut up dude" he said laughing, not even denying it.

later that night nini decided to post a picture that some random stranger had taken for her and ricky on instagram.
she hated that he never failed to make her smile.

oh no, he's smiling. this is never a good sign.

question timeeeee. so i have two ideas for a story. i have one for my friend's love life. it's very draggy but interesting and another that's kinda sad but interesting as well. let me know which one i should do an introduction about. or which one seems more interesting. byeee, hope u enjoyed and thanks for reading !!
