Yayy, another update. I'm really stressed out these days due to lots of school work since it's the National Arts Month in our school in Philippines and I'm an Arts and Design Track student and there are tons of work and productions to make as a project proponent.
Anyways, here is the story :')

You stared at the mirror for the tenth time and rubbed your eyes afterwards. You are confused right now. You never had any complications with your eyes but it seems like some things are getting blurry. You blinked twice and suddenly, it was normal.
" Weird", you muttered. It's 2:30 in the morning and you woke up really early. You didn't get to know what Seonghwa and Mr. Kim's conversation is all about last night because you were so tired and you needed rest after Hongjoong chased you around the house.
You smiled at the little memory and went to the living room to sit on the couch. The urge to go back to bed at this early morning is gone. The finals is on Friday and you needed to focus. You wanted to win and make your family and friends proud.
The thought of meeting the queen is somehow pressuring you because they're bunch of royalties and you're just nothing but an intelligent and cunning athlete who has two bestfriends, one silly brother, an old man who claims he's not, and a boyfriend who happened to be the Sky Prince.
The last one makes you lucky and unlucky at the same time.
" Why are you up early at this morning?".
You glanced at the doorway and saw the prince with a cup on his hands while staring at you. You almost forgot that he's assigned to sleep on the couch since your father finally arrived.
" I just woke up, I don't know", you replied. He smiled and sat beside you, sipping on his early chamomile tea. " I forgot that you sleep on the couch now".
" Why? Do you have better suggestions for me?", he asked. " Do you want me to sleep beside you instead?".
" Of course not. Wanna get caught?", you replied, raising a brow at the prince. He smirked and rested his back on the couch and sighed.
" Y/N, it's okay to tell me things that you're nervous about. We have the time to talk about it today", Seonghwa said softly. Suddenly, the telephone rang and you got up to answer it.
" Y/N, it's me. San is in trouble!", Mingi said from the other line. You can hear that he's sobbing. Your face contorted to fear and sadness.
" Wait, where are you? Where's San?", you asked.
" I'm at the hospital right now. San is in the operating room and Wooyoung is here with me as well", Mingi replied with a sniff. " I'm so broken Y/N, I hate to see my bestfriend beaten to a pulp...please Y/N, go here now".
You returned the telephone and got your sweatshirt on. You didn't mind changing clothes now because all you could think of right now is San. Seonghwa noticed how you are hastily walking around the house.
" Princess, what happened?", he asked, bringing his cup down as he stared at you nervously. He can see that you have small tears falling from your eyes but you wiped it immediately.
" Let's teleport to the hospital".
Without any second, Seonghwa obeyed your request and the two of you are outside the hospital. You ran inside and asked the nurse for San. The nurse responded that he's in the operating room and told you to wait with Mingi and Wooyoung.
You notice how Mingi looks so broken right now, as well as Wooyoung.
" Mingi!", you exclaimed and hugged him. He hugged you tight, not minding the presence of the prince behind you who was eyeing him and Wooyoung at the same time.
" I'm so sorry Y/N, if I said sorry to him this wouldn't happen!", Mingi said through tears. You tapped his back and let him sit.
" Shh no, it's not your fault", you cooed. " Where are his parents?".
San's parents are doctors in the hospital so they're always busy. You're sad and felt sorry for them because they'll have their son as their patient. San is a strong man and he barely get sick, that explains how his parents raised him well.
" They're inside. Mrs. Choi kept on crying that she even called me and Wooyoung to go here. I felt sorry for her..", Mingi explained. " San looks so...bad. He looked so bad with that broken bone! I swear I would kill whoever did this to him!".
Wooyoung was silent at this moment. He's guilty after all and yet he has the audacity to show up here. For his safety, when Felix possessed him, he brainwashed San's memory about that night. Felix's shadow figure brought San infront of his house while Wooyoung is crying in his own house.
He didn't know what to do last time. He felt really guilty and angry at his self. He thinks he's weak because he's the good side of that fallen angel. He shed a lot of tears that night and can't sleep properly. He wanted to go to San and run him to the hospital immediately but he would be so suspicious.
" Wooyoung, I thought you're always with San?", Seonghwa suddenly asked, making you and Mingi look at him. " Why did you let that happen to him?".
" Hey...", you started, holding Seonghwa's hand because you don't want any arguments right now between the two. You know that Wooyoung would never do it to San.
" I took him home and said goodbye to him last night. I didn't know that he'll get in that kind of situation. I don't know anything about it so this is why I'm so hurt", Wooyoung lied. He tried his best to speak straight so he wouldn't get caught.
" Maybe he went to buy something and ended up beaten", Mingi said, while looking down. " I saw him through the door when they rushed him here. He's still in his dobuk pants and favorite shirt and it was all bloody".
You noticed Seonghwa has a sour look on his face while staring at the white walls. " I think it's Felix doings", he whispered to you. Your eyes widened and tears fell down from your eyes.
It could be Felix but you're not sure yet. Someone is maybe jealous of San and maybe, random guys just wanted to have fun so they beat San up. You're so mad. You wanted to know who did this to him.
Nurses past by the four of you. They were gossiping . " I heard Doctor Choi's son was the patient today. He's a Taekwondo player right? Poor thing, he can't compete for the next month because of the broken leg".
Now it pained you even more. San's dream was to compete in the Internationals together with you and Mingi, and probably with Wooyoung too.
An hour later, the four of you are still there, waiting for the results and see whether you can see San for a moment. Mrs. Choi came out of the operating room with puffy eyes. As soon as she saw the four of you, she forced a smile.
" Thank you for coming, I am sorry I look horrible right now", Mrs. Choi said as she got her handkerchief inside her coat.
" You look fine Mrs. Choi, how's San?", you asked. Mrs. Choi sighed and she hiccuped, making her cover her mouth.
" Oh excuse me", Mrs. Choi replied. " He's asleep but you can see him now...please excuse me I have to loo". You nodded and went inside the room. The three men followed behind you and you can still hear Mingi sniffing.
" Sannie...", Wooyoung said, his voice broke as he ran to your best friend's side. San looks pale and bruised. He also has bandages and a cast on his leg.
You're on the verge of crying again but Seonghwa tapped your back and felt relaxed again. Mingi stared at San as he kneeled down beside him.
" I'm sorry Sannie, it's my fault. I shouldn't have to be so sensitive and jealous. You're my best pal and I'm sorry for hitting you on the face. I'm sorry that I almost broke our friendship", Mingi apologized and cried afterwards.
" San, I hope that you'll be okay soon. We will visit you everyday if we have the time. We will include you in our team chant, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to protect you", you said as you caressed San's pale arms.
Wooyoung was silent but you know he has something to say. " Sannie, I'll kill whoever did this to you....",Wooyoung said, his fist clenched.
Seonghwa behind you snaked his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your left shoulder. " I hope our friend San will do better after he recovered", the prince muttered.
Mingi is still crying hard like a baby but you can't blame him. He loves his best friend and seeing him like this explains it all. Wooyoung has a soft glare on his face. He seemed annoyed at what happened to his San.
You checked the time and saw that it's 5:30 am and you needed to prepare for school now. Hongjoong and your dad might be awake now at this moment. " Mingi, I'll go now. Wooyoung, please take care of San. My father will be worried if he didn't see me at home at this moment. Also you guys go rest, we'll have a hard training later", you reminded the two and they both nodded.
" Okay, see you in school Y/N", Wooyoung replied with a slight smile. " Seonghwa, please take care of Y/N".
" Of course I will", Seonghwa replied while raising a brow. You nudged him and he just gave you a smile before going out of the operating room together and teleported back home.
Funny...these people are fun to play with..
