Katsuki sat up with a jolt, regretting it immediately when pain flashed in his side.

"Careful!" A voice yelled.

He gazed to the side, vision going hazy when a person with blue hair grabbed his shoulders to keep him from falling over.

"I-I'm sorry! I know I sh-should have taken you to a hospital o-or something..." the person continued to mumble, but katsuki stopped paying attention.

He rubbed his eyes, his vision ever so slightly clearing. He could make out what looked to be a face. Or two. No, wait, just one.

"W-what happened? And w-why does m-my side hurt s-so much?" He groaned, the other peroson winced, helping him to prop himself against the bed frame.

"I'm so sorry! I-I'm Bltyz" they clapped their hands together and bowed. "And uh- you hit your head against the wall pretty hard, but as for your side..." he trailed off, looking away.

Panic flared in Bakugou, his eyes going wide. Did he get attacked while he was unconscious? Sure, that wouldn't be a surprise in his original reality but here? He guessed that's why there were heroes, to stop what little bad guys that there were.

"Ah! It's um- it's not anything bad! I promise! I was just walking past a dog park when I was trying to carry you home. I wasn't going to leave you unconscious in the middle of a dark alley way! And a few dogs might have come and uh- yea-" blytz looked a bit ashamed. Letting someone get hurt by a few measly mutts? Pathetic.

"O-oh. Ok, and i- I'm Bakugou." Katsuki's voice was nothing but a whisper, weak and quiet.

"Your Bakugou katsuki!?" Blytz yelped. And now that he actually assessed the boy infront of them, they couldn't help but want to face palm. Were they really that oblivious?

Bakugou looked a bit defensive for a moment, before blytz raised their hands in surrender. "Sorry! It's just that my brother goes to your school and he told me a bit about you..." they looked away, staring at the suddenly very interesting looking wall.

"Oh."

"So, your the one who was um- switched with another version of yourself, right?"

"Yea..."

"Do you...even want to go back...?"

And here they were again. Couldn't katsuki go a few chapters without having someone repeat the same, very annoying, question?

But, katsuki could find it in himself to say no. He'd be lying if he said that he completely ignored what Mina said. Could his classmates, the one from his original reality, really change? Like enough to make a difference?

"I... I don't know." He admitted after an awkward beat of silence. "Everyone back home was so... so mean and everyone here was so nice! But now I'm being told that their changing for me? I don't know what to believe..."

Blytz nodded in understanding. He reflected on the phone-call with their brother that same morning.

——————

"But Eijirou! Th-they were hurting you! She even said she had hurt you when she came over! Remember!?"

"Look, I know you like my friends but I'm not quitting UA. Training is hard and people are going to get hurt, it's only natural."

"That's not training! That's abuse!"

"Hero school is different from gym class. We're being prepared to fight actual villains that want to kill us. We need to learn to take a punch or two."

"A punch or two!? I remember you came home w-with a broken nose an-and a black eyes! I just don't want you to get hurt, like- l-like I-..."

"Like you were. I know, but I promise it's ok. We're gonna get hurt during training, and i promise it's only to make us stronger for the next day."

"But what about Bakugou...?"

"...our Bakugou? You mean? Yea, he's going to be an amazing hero. Even if he's a bit loud and obnoxious, he's still strong and even if it doesn't seem like it, he does care about all of us. He just has a different way of showing it. But when he gets back, he'll be the next best hero."

——————————

Blytz still didn't like Eijirou's classmates, they probably never will. But they made their brother so happy, even when he had talked about Bakugou through the phone, Bltyz could practically see the fond smile.

Now, Bltyz sat next to the inverted Bakugou, who looked down at his lap.

"Th-they want me to go back. My classmates here. But I-I want to be a hero, and I can't be one b-back... th-there."

"What's... you definition of a hero?"

"Somone who saves people? W-why does it m-mater?"

"Are you... saving Bakugou? The one from here?"

"I... n-no..."

"If I was a hero... not that'd I'd ever be one, I would want to save at least one person. Know I changed one person's life for the better."

"...

So you saying I-I should switch back?"

"I think... you do what you w-want. Being a hero doesn't have to be defined as a number on a board with a fancy quirk license. Maybe being a hero can be as simple as making someone smile."

They sat there in silence, until Blytz broke out into sobs, startling Bakugou.

"I-I'm sorry! Th-this is all my fault! I just thought that if I-I could save my brother fr-from what I had to go through th-then m-maybe- maybe I'd be a h-hero to h-him! An-and that stupid l-league-" their words were choked out by sobs.

Katsuki sat, taking in all the information and slowly processing the information.

"Wait... w-what do you m-mean 'you f-fault'" he asked slowly.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I-I'm the one who switched you-! I-I thought I was helping-!"

"Oh- w-wait! D-don't be sorry!" Katsuki was right by his side in an instant, awkwardly patting his back. "Um- i-if anything th-this was possibly a good thing?"

They looked at each other uncertainly, tears still streaming out of Blytz's eyes, but they quickly wiped them away.

"D-do you want to go b-back? I-I can help you r-return if you wa-want."

"Y-yea... b-but er have t-to do s-something first..."

••••••••••

Kirishima paced the room, stress fueling him. "Damn it! How are we supposed to get our katsuki back now!?" He yelled, though his voice was strained form all the yelling he had done prior.

The door opened, grabbing everyone's attention as they watched Aizawa walk in, followed by Bakugou and Blytz. He gazed at them expectantly as they moved forwards, shrinking under everyone's gaze.

"Blytz? What are you doing here?"

Blytz winced at the way their brother's voice was scratchy and strained. "W-we wanted t-to apologize. I-I'm sorry- th-this all m-my fault, I-I'm the one who s-switched them..."

Eijirou gasped, realing back, a look of betrayal and hurt falling upon his already stressed expression.

Blytz looked to the floor, tears welling in their eyes. "I just th-thought I was protecting y-you..."

Katsuki took a shaky breath, "a-and I'll go b-back. on o-one condition. I-I want to t-talk with m-my Midoriya..." he at the green hair teen who's eyes widened.

"So you want Blytz to use their quirk on Midoriya? You do realize we don't know how long it would take to send him back, right?" Aizawa grumbled, eyes narrowing in suspicion towards the ash-blond.

"N-not exactly! I should be a-able to s-send them b-both back whenever I-I want. It's just th-that after a bit th-they can get back on their o-own." Blytz explained. "Though I-I don't know m-much 'cus this w-would be the third time I-I used my quirk..."

Aizawa turned to Midoriya, waiting for his response.

"O-oh um- ok, yea, if i-it gets kacchan back then I'll do it." Midoriya nodded certainly, stepping forwards. "So how does it work?"

"I-I just have to touch you."

Midoriy and Blytz fist bumped, nodding that he was ready. Same as all the times before, glitch marks started to appear, and the transparent class returned once more. Midoriya let out a cry before falling to the ground, Iida quick to catch him.

"Aizawa! Are you certain this was a good idea!? You could put the entire school in danger!"

Aizawa waved him off, ignoring him.

Midoriya was placed on the couch, Mina stood the closest since she was already familiar with him, while the rest of the class stood back. Bakugou and Blytz stood in the middle, not quite sure where they wanted to go.

It wasn't long until Midoriya sat up with a grunt, running a hand through his green curls. He took in a sharp gasp, sitting up sharply. "Where-".

"Welcome Midoriya! Your in our world nowww~" Mina sung. Midoriya glared harshly at her.

"Why?" Was all he asked, no yelling or cursing like Bakugou had expected. He gaped, already surprised, and he hadn't even talked to him yet.

"Well, Bakugou is willing to switch back, but he doesn't really believe me when I told him that you and a few others were trying to change for him."Mina explained.

Midoriya grunted and shifted his gaze towards Bakugou. He groaned and laid against the couch, sinking further into it. "Great, this is going to be so corny, fuck. We don't have to hold hands and sing kumbaya or whatever, right?"

"Nope!" Mina snickered, seemingly blind to the way Midoriya eyed her like a predator watching its prey. Everyone else in the room was taken aback about her fact that Izuku Midoriya just cursed, and the overall way Midoriya held himself.

Bakugou was shaking when Midoriya met his gaze. The green-haired boy sighed, shaking his head and look every bit dissapointed. (But it didn't look like it was directed at anyone, Bakugou pondered this for only a mere moment.)

"Look. I'm sorry or something. What we did was shit, and we, uh- feel... bad, or something." In conclusion, Midoriya was terrible at this.

Bakugou did not look convinced.

"Alright alright. We were trying to help you, we thought what we were doing would in the long run, but I guess we went to far and ended up hurting you. And for that we apologize. But we do care for you, we don't want to see you so easily hurt and manipulated. And if you want that to change, then maybe we can find another way to help."

Bakugou softened. Midoriya sounded -and looked- sincere, his tone was softer and though he was still intimidating, he had defiantly changed. In a good way.

"I-I can't f-forgive y-you. N-not y-yet anyway. But I-I think m-maybe... m-maybe I c-can go b-back" bakugou's voice was quaint, but everyone heard it.

Midoriya breathed a sigh of relief. "So, how do we return?" He looked towards Blytz.

"W-when you go to s-sleep you should be a-able to."

•••••

Midoriya and Bakugou faced the mirror in the white room. They walked forwards in unknown unison, melting into their mirrors and waking up in the reality they call home.

•••••

Bakugou walked down into the common room, a smirk plaguing his face. The bakusquad was up in less than a second, racing over and devouring him in a tear-filled hug.

"EW! GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" Bakugou screeched, though there was no heat behind it and his attempts to get them off were weak.

"Oh shut up you giant ego filled Pomeranian!" Mina laughed, her voice shaking with sobs.

"Boom boom man..." denki whimpered, hugging his friend close. Bakugou did not comment on the nickname.

A warmth filled katsuki as his friends hugged him, did tears stain? He hoped not, he liked this shirt.

In took all his willpower not to fall into his own cries of relief, though his eyes watered, and his breathing was shaky.

"Damn it blasty, can you stop getting in these kind of situations?"

"Oh shut it tape face."

"Wait... Blytz, what happened to the guy at the front desk?" Shouji asked, breaking the reunion.

Blytz paled.

••••••••

In another reality Bakugou was shaking with sobs. Midoriya didn't comment on it, instead choosing to silence anyone who tried to question him with his all too famous death glare.

Ayoama awkwardly patted his back as the black-head sobbed into his shirt, the bland male enraptured in a tight hug with todoroki, Monoma, Shinsou, and Bakugou.

The rest of the group were standing off to the side. They'd rather turn themselves in to the heroes than be hugged. But they still offered the occasional reassurance and apology.

It wasn't perfect. It wasn't even close, but it was different. They were actively trying (no matter how humorous it had been to watch Midoriya try to reassure him. He still was terrible at it.)

But it meant something, and Bakugou could work with that. He felt safe in his own reality for the first time since he can remember

•••

What's this? A finished story?

Did you guess who the one who switched the bakugou's correctly? I tried to make it obvious- you see, I don't like when there's a traitor in the story (I mean, I do like when there is one) but I don't like when it comes out of nowhere, like there has to be some indication that that character is the traitor. Y'know?

I hoped you all enjoyed! Now have a wonderful life!
