Eva's POV.
"It's Alexander to you "
His words rang in my mind and a shy smile came to my lips.
Alexander
His name rolled off my tongue and it sounded so good. I blushed and smiled at this.
Today was different from every day. He wasn't cold like he always is... he even talked to me a little.
I looked down at the T-shirt I was wearing, it was too big for me but still, I like it. It smells like him and now I smell like him...
I again blushed at my thoughts.
God! What's happening to me?
I am behaving so weirdly nowadays!!
I shook my head and looked at the clock on the wall. It shows that it's midnight and I am not sleepy at all. I am just thinking about him, and his behavior towards me.
Suddenly I felt someone struggling close to me. I know it's my Isa, my daughter.
I also hugged her closely and closed my eyes. I was constantly thinking about him and now I think I'll be mad so sleeping is the best way to escape from my thoughts.
I closed my eyes and hugged tightly to Isa. With great difficulty, I was able to sleep.

"Eva?"
"Eva...please wake up...." I heard someone's voice which disturbed my sleep so well.
I slowly opened my eyes adjusting them to the sunlight and saw it was Maria who was waking me up. I looked at her in confusion.
What she is doing here??
Seeing me opening my eyes she released a breath like she was relieved.
I sat up on the bed and looked around to see a familiar surrounding.
Then my mind clicked and I remembered I was in Mr.Knight's house.
"God!! You are a heavy sleeper, Eva.." Maria said and I smiled at her sheepishly.
"Good morning to you too," I said to her while getting up.
"Morning.... and now go freshen up. Mr. Knight told me to bring a dress for you with me. So here is it" she says handing me a bag.
Did he tell her?
"And now be quick. Mr. Knight will come down in less than 15 minutes" she said watching her watch. I nodded at her.
"Give Isabella to me. I'll bathe her in the next room" Maria said.
"Umm... can I give her a bath today??" I asked. I know I accepted Isa as my daughter but maybe Maria didn't like it. She must have been doing it for a long time now.
"Of course why not. You are her mother. You don't need to ask permission for anything regarding her. She is all yours " Saying this she stood up and went toward the door and went out but not before saying to come fast.
Maria's words make me feel like I have every right to my daughter. Like every real mother has on her child. She didn't make me feel like a stepmother. Her words boost my love and care for her. It feels like I am her real mother.
But now it doesn't matter whether I am her real mother or not because Isa is my daughter. Only mine. She is my priority now and the best responsibility I ever experienced. I'll try my best to be the best mother she wants. I'll protect her from every evil eye and will give my love to her in every phase of my life.
I looked at her sleeping figure and smiled wholeheartedly. She is the first one who love me without wanting anything back other than love. Which I will gladly give her. In our relationship, there isn't any fake emotion. Our relationship is pure and very real.
I picked her up In my arms and started to wake her up. I just carried her in my arms and she nuzzled her face in my neck. She hides her face with her hand on my neck.
"Wake up princess," I said to her softly. In return, she nuzzled more. It causes me to laugh at her actions.
My baby is so cute.
After some time she woke up.
"Good morning Princess Isa," I said a little dramatically to make her giggle.
"Good morning mumma," she said with a bright smile which made my morning good. I kissed her forehead and then took her a bath first.
After bathing her she chose her dress which was a white frock. With orange shoes.
I made two ponytails and here my daughter looks like an angel.
So cute.
I smiled at her and kissed her cheeks.
"You look so beautiful " I complimented her which made her cheeks turn red.
Aww, my baby is shy.
I laughed at her and told her to wait for a few minutes till I took a bath. Hurriedly I went inside as I didn't have much time.
I looked at myself in the Mirror and found myself in a T-shirt.

His voice echoed in my ear and I blushed and my heart beat accelerated remembering our last encounter. Clutching his t-shirt closely I took a deep breath and then removed my clothes and took a shower.
After taking a shower I realized I didn't took my clothes with me.
I face-palmed myself draped the towel around my body and went out only to gasp in ultra shock.
There was Alexander in his full glory wearing a black shirt of his suit and holding his suit jacket in his hand. and looking devilishly handsome, truly drool-worthy!
He was talking to Isa and his right side was facing me. I just stood there frozen because I was partially naked only in a towel wrapped around me and he was standing just beside the bed where the dress was kept.
I gulped and tightened my hold around the towel and was ready to run to the bathroom and lock myself but my luck wasn't on my side. As I was about turned I heard Isa's voice.
"Here's mummy papa" pointing her finger towards my direction and Alexander turned towards me.
"Eva ge-" he didn't complete the sentence when he saw me like this. He ran his eyes up and down only to make me feel hot and my cheeks went red as apples and my heart beat super wild.
I didn't say anything just looked down in embarrassment. I was feeling so hot, it was like A.C. didn't work well!
I heard him clearing his throat and he looked anywhere other than me, the same goes for me. I was way more than embarrassed to look at him.
"Get ready and come out" Saying this he went out and I breathed in relief after hearing the door close and looked up only to see the room empty.
Where's Isa?
I run to grab my dress and run inside the bathroom with a beating heart and burning cheeks.
God!!
I quickly changed myself into the dress she brought. It was a light cream color maxi dress with a butterfly print on it. It was so cute and a lovely dress.
I stepped out of the room and went downstairs with again beating heart and red hot cheeks. I was feeling too shy to go in front of Alexander after the morning incident.
You can't blame me, I was partially naked only in the towel which didn't even reach my mid-thighs.
I lowered my head as I saw him sitting on the table while talking to Isa who was in his lap.
"Sit" he ordered as always and this time without arguing I went and took my regular seat. I gulped when I felt his eyes on me. I was fully covered but his gaze was making me feel different, as I wasn't uncomfortable! I was feeling conscious, and the worse I was feeling like I was still in my towel or my wet cloth!
His gaze was making me nervous as hell also because of many reasons... few were like the morning incident and then the dress. It was indeed very beautiful but I didn't wear this type of dress in front of him other than the day we met.
He wasn't saying anything nor was I. There was tension around us, Isa was looking at me and then at his father.
I cleared my throat and looked at him only to find him looking at me.
"Go-Good morning Mr kn.- Alexander" I greeted. I was again about to say Mr. Knight but he raised his eyebrows like he was questioning me. I quickly covered my mistakes and said his name. It was probably the first time I called him by his name in front of him and that's the reason why my cheeks turned red!
I need a doctor.
He also replied with a morning, his tone was as always nothing changed like me! Maria came shortly and I greeted her. She complimented my dress that I looked so beautiful like an angel in it and like always I lowered my head in shyness and blushed a little.
She served the breakfast and silence surrounded us as Isa ran to her room after Alexander said something to her in her ear. I gulped as I was alone with him.
He didn't do anything but his gaze..... they were strong enough to make me feel nervous and weak.
I continued to have my breakfast without looking at him but then he said something.
"My family is coming today" As soon as these words left his mouth I stopped on my track.
His family is coming!!
He didn't tell me earlier!!
OMG, what I am gonna do now!!
I looked at him in pure horror and then myself. I wasn't ready to meet them. I wasn't prepared any bit!
Again I looked at him and found him already looking at me with raised eyebrows.
"Why don't you tell me earlier??" I asked him in panic.
"Because it's not that big news... They would have come eventually on our Wedding " he said in a bored tone like it didn't matter much.
He was right also but still, I wasn't prepared.
Meeting your would-be husband's family in less than 24 hours, and that to that husband whom I have known only for 5 days!
Goss! Never in my life, have I thought this!!
I was so nervous that my appetite diet was that instant only, I just played with my food.
Isa came after a few seconds and chipped in her evergreen excited voice.
"It's done papa" I looked at Isa and Alexander with curiosity but they just ignored me.
Alexander made her sit on his lap and made her eat her breakfast, she didn't have her dinner last night so he was feeding her more today.
All the time when they were busy with themselves, I was only busy thinking about the outcome of the sudden meeting.
What if they don't like me??
What if they think I am not good enough for Isa???.
What if they are typically parents who will be taunting me from time to time for my mistakes......
What if they have someone else in their mind for him and just coming here to reject me??
What if-
My inner question session was cut short when I heard Alexander's voice. I looked at him who was raising his brows looking at me or questioning me.
I shoot my head and give him a nervous smile,
"Don't be tense they aren't going to eat you" he said calmly trying to calm me down too but his words made me more nervous. He again went back to his work feeding himself and Isa who was playing and eating at the same time.
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself.

I chanted... and this gave me a little confidence but all drained when I heard the doorbell ringing.
Isa screamed throwing her toys on the ground.
"They are here"
