Cracked glass

Gave

A view

Of

All the

Crushed hopes

And

Broken dreams.

I couldn't

Look away.

It all

Seemed so

Familiar.

My eyes

Were

Searching.

What,

Had I

Expected?

Respite,

Realizations,

Acceptance

Or

Resignation?

The,

All important

Search.

I stared,

At the mirror.

Instead of,

Seeing my

Reflection.

I saw

Right through,

My own self.
