Rebecca Rocoplant had an older girl and a younger boy. The younger boy's name was Charley, and the older girl's name was Lilliana. This morning was Lilliana's graduation from elementary school. "You will be there won't you mother?" asked Lilliana on her way down the stairs, dressed in long black robes and a hat with a yellow drawstring. "Yes Lilliana!" said Mrs. Rocoplant. "What's all this chit chat about, eh?" demanded a very sleepy Charley. "Nothing. Charley, go eat your breakfast." Said Rebecca sadly.
After Charley ate his food, Lilliana sat in the car and tapped her shiny black shoes impatiently on the mat of the car floor. Once Mrs. Rocoplant drove to Skyth elementary, Lilliana ran out of the car to meet her friends. "Hey Victoria!" said Lilliana. "Hey, Lilliana! Where's Cassy?" asked Victoria peering around the room. "Here I am!" said Cassy. "Oh, hello Cassy!" said Lilliana. "I was held back, sorry. "said Cassy earnestly. "Why?" asked Victoria. "Liam Lofto just vomited in the hallway!" said Cassy fighting back laughter. "Let's go and find seats in the auditorium!" said Victoria. "Okay, but first let me fit these papers into my purse." Said Lilliana. "Don't be stupid, we don't have any homework!" said Cassy. "It's not homework!" Lilliana snapped.
The girls sat down and listened to Mr. Blake's speech. Lilliana started to get bored but she noticed something odd that was happening in the back row of the auditorium, so she took out her quill and scribbled something down on a scrap piece of paper she found on the floor stuck at the bottom of one of her chair legs.
Victoria? I need you to keep a secret between you and Cassy! Please meet me in room 106 as well.
-Lilliana. PS I am bored so please write back.
Lilliana passed the paper to Victoria and then took out another paper from her purse. Then pulled out a book named Secrets That Nobody Knew Before. She stuck her quill between her teeth as she thought. She pulled out her ink bottle and dipped her quill into the ink. She took it out and started to write something in some sort of code.

Lilliana closed a book and put it back in her bag and pulled out a new one. She scanned through it and her eyes widened and tapped Victoria and Cassy on the shoulder. Cassy and Victoria looked at Lilliana and she pointed down at the book. Cassy scooched in more to get a better view.
Nickonut
Mr. Nickonut in 1900 was arrested for criminal activities. Nickonut stole very important jewel's so he could take fame for it. Mrs. Nickonut divorced Mr. Nickonut right away because he tried to frame her and try to say that she was the one that stole the jewels. His story was very convincing indeed but he was arrested anyway. Now, Mr. Nickonut remains in Prison in Paris. Mr. and Mrs. Nickonut has a child named Victoria and is currently at Skyth elementary and is graduating 5th grade. Police look after the school and make sure Victoria is not a wanted criminal as well as her father. As for now, Victoria is now an "orphan". Victoria has been homeschooled until 3rd grade and has met very un-trustworthy friends.
Rocoplant
The Rocoplant for instance has been to several different countries and has never been seen until Victoria's graduation. Of course, we hold suspicion for this suspect because she has never set foot in the outer world and is known to have a lot of gold and to be very rich. The Rocoplant family (with no dad) has two children and both go to Skyth elementary along with Victoria. So named Charley and Lilliana. Lilliana is graduating 5th grade as well and is planning to go to Skonth middle school next. Charley is in 1st grade and has just started at Skyth elementary and it would be long before he goes to Skonth middle school like his sister. The Rocoplant's live in a mansion but was never found in history. Some people say that other people have lived before them but never gave in to tell anyone where they lived.
Lilliana waited for the paper to dry off with her coded note and then slipped it into her bag.
"Meet me in room 106," muttered Lilliana. "Okay!" said Cassy and Victoria.
Lilliana got up and started to walk out of the room. "NO!!! Wait, please! You have to stay for the awards! At the party, you can talk to us okay? It's too fishy!" said Cassy. "Shhh!" said Victoria. "Okay," said Lilliana and sat back down. "And now! The moment you have been waiting for!!!!!!" said Mr. Blake. "The 5th graders are going to another school and so, we must celebrate them finishing 5th grade! We will do a challenge! A challenge of who makes it to the end! The top ten of 5th grade will compete against each other. But only one will win, the winner will come home with a TROPHY!!!" Shouted Mr. Blake.
"That's us," said Cassy. "Yeah, I bet you will make it Lilliana." Said Victoria. "Er- we will see," started Lilliana, but. "Lilliana Rocoplant! Victoria Undane! Cassy Horngoggle! Liam Lofto! Ria Johnson! Medha Kulioco! Evan Portluck! Tasha Orns! Jain Lorney! Manasvi Poolco! And that, my fellow students, is all!" said Mr. Blake.
Lilliana, Victoria, Cassy, Liam, Ria, Medha, Evan, Tasha, Jain, and Manasvi all stepped on to the platform and sat down in a chair. Lilliana's heart was pounding heavily. Victoria and Cassy were sitting on either side of her. She forced a smile on her face and looked down at the floor. Cassy frowned and whispered What's wrong? Lilliana shook her head and looked back down at the floor. "What is ten times the square root of forty-nine plus the square root of one hundred forty-four?" said Mr. Blake "One!" "Two!" "Three!" said three different voices of Lilliana, Victoria, and Cassy. "One hundred ninety!" they said. "Er- perhaps we should not do this okay guys? I am sorry to disappoint you!" said Mr. Blake. There were boos and shouting and groans. But Mr. Blake silenced the noisy crowd. "If you want to do this again then you do this later!" Bellowed Mr. Blake. There were still a few murmurs but nothing more. "We need to get to the awards!" continued Mr. Blake.
Lilliana, Victoria, Cassy, Liam, Ria, Medha, Evan, Tasha, Jain, and Manasvi stepped down and sat back down in a chair. Lilliana turned to Cassy and tapped her shoulder; Cassy whipped around and gave her a don't-scare-me-like-that look Lilliana shrugged and pointed at her purse. Cassy looked at it. Lilliana pulled out her phone and opened her "Call" app. Cassy nodded. Lilliana ran out of the room. She dialed in a number and held the phone to her ear. A moment of silence.... Then! "Hello?" said a muffled voice of a boy. "It's me!" said Lilliana. "Hi, Lilliana!" said the boy. "Hey Charley, listen we need to go." Said Lilliana. "Wha-?" started Charley. "Quick! Go grab your backpack." Said Lilliana. "ARE YOU MAD??" cried Charley. "Please I will explain later! Just grab your stuff and meet me in room 106. "Fine, but if this is a prank then I will kill you." Said Charley warningly. "Fine!" said Lilliana throwing down her phone into her purse which caused the call to go out.
Lilliana stormed into the auditorium and sat down again biting her lips. She shot a nasty glare at Charley in the back row. Charley put on a confused face and looked down. "Did you ever know that your dad was a criminal?" Lilliana asked Victoria. "No," she said after a deep long breath. "He-he left when I was three." Said Victoria, her voice breaking. "I never knew where he went." Said Victoria letting a tear drop down her cheek. "He is in prison," she whispered. "Hey, it is ok!" said Lilliana. "My dad left for a year and.......and...." said Lilliana, but she couldn't finish the sentence. "What happened to your dad?" asked Victoria looking up and brushing away her tears. "Dead...." Said Lilliana.
Victoria gasped. Cassy clapped her hand to her mouth and slowly, very slowly she whispered. "Dead?" and then let out a small cry. They heard Mr. Blake's call of "Lilliana, Cassy Victoria.......".
They stood up and the audience applauded. "It's time to go...." Said Lilliana. "Okay, let's go then." Said Victoria and stood up. "Yeah, before anyone spots us," whispered Cassy and they all left. "Room 106." Muttered Lilliana. "Oh!" squeaked Cassy. "What is it?" asked Lilliana. "I just got an email!" said Cassy. "What does it say?" asked Lilliana. "It's from a lab," said Cassy. "What does it say?" repeated Lilliana. "The factory is looking for three girls age ten to visit the factory and demonstrate a scientific theory!" exclaimed Cassy. "What?" cried Lilliana and Victoria. "Yes!" said Cassy. "But, why ten-year-old girls specifically?" asked Victoria. "Wrong question, what do we do?" asked Cassy. "It could be a trap." Said Victoria. "What I was thinking." Said Lilliana. "Do you think they know us?" asked Cassy. "Could be," said Lilliana. "This is all confusing my head!" said Victoria. "But in a way, it fits." Said Lilliana. "How?" asked Cassy. "Both of our dad's," she referred to herself and Victoria. "Are gone," she finished. "Where is this headed?" asked Victoria sounding nervous. "And the lab wants us to visit the lab and perform a science experiment," Lilliana said. "And?" asked Cassy. "Put them together!" said Lilliana. "Our dads are gone BECAUSE we are performing a science experiment!" said Lilliana. "Cassy, is there anything more in the email?" asked Lilliana. "Yes, the experiment includes a piece of diamond and a hammer!" said Cassy. "You're right! It does fit!" said Victoria. "Look at this," said Lilliana and she pulled out a strip of paper taken from the book.
Undane stole very important jewel's so he could take fame for it
"Jewels!" said Lilliana. "What about the hammer?" said Victoria. "I don't know about that." Said Lilliana. "I say, we should think of a plan just in case that something bad happens." Said Victoria. "No, maybe not though." Said Lilliana. "Why?" said Victoria. "Maybe it is not a trick at all." Said Lilliana. "What if it is?" Victoria shot back. "WELL, YOU MAY THINK IT'S A TRAP BUT I DON'T OKAY?" screamed Lilliana and Victoria looked stunned. "Sorry," muttered Lilliana.
Cassy starred at Victoria and Lilliana and sighed. "You two get it together!" said Cassy. "We are going to another school in two months." Said, Cassy. "We are in our double digits and practically teens!" Cassy said. "Fine, I will if she does." Said Lilliana. "Lilliana..." whispered Victoria. "What?" shot Lilliana. "I'm sorry..." Victoria whimpered. "I'm sorry..." said Lilliana. "Ahh, lost track of time! It's already time!" said Lilliana. Cassy looked at her watch. "Yeah, your right, room one o' six?" asked Cassy. "Yes," said Lilliana.
Lilliana, Cassy, and Victoria all went to room one o' six and knocked on the door. The door opened and standing there was a teacher, tall, black-haired, blue eyes, and a grey shirt and pants. "Hello, Mrs. Lucy." Said Lilliana. "Why are you here?" she said. "We have some questions that need to be answered." Said, Cassy. "Your brother is already in here." Said Mrs. Lucy. "Oh, okay." Said Lilliana.
In the room, Charley was sitting in a chair in the corner with crossed arms with a dull expression. "Sit," said Mrs. Lucy. "Thank you," said Cassy. "You had questions?" asked Mrs. Lucy who was taking out a pen and paper. "Yes, you see," said Lilliana as Victoria brought out a box. "What are they?" Mrs. Lucy asked. "This box," said Victoria. "Has an object inside of it." "As I can see," said Mrs. Lucy taking the box and examining it. "Open it." Said Cassy and so Mrs. Lucy opened it. "Interesting," said Mrs. Lucy. "I have seen this object before," Mrs. Lucy said. "That is why we came to you," said Lilliana. Charley scooched in between Cassy and Lilliana. "What questions do you have?" asked Mrs. Lucy. "I looked at this object and it seemed to know everything." Said Lilliana. "Then if all of your questions are answered then why do you need me?" asked Mrs. Lucy. "This thing, says something about the world." Said Lilliana. "The world?" asked Mrs. Lucy. "Yes, the world." Said Lilliana. "Connections?" asked Mrs. Lucy. "Yes," said Lilliana. "Connections between another world and ours." Said Lilliana. "We want to know what the other world is." Said, Cassy.
Mrs. Lucy just looked at them and then sighed. "I cannot tell you just yet when it is time I will," said Mrs. Lucy. "But you do know?" asked Lilliana. "Yes, I do know, but now is not the time." Said Mrs. Lucy. "Off you go," she said and opened the office door.
Lilliana, Victoria, Charley, and Cassy walked out of the room and Charley left for his classroom as Lilliana, Victoria, and Cassy and Lilliana left for the party and they sat down at a table. "Mind passing me the sugar cookies?" asked Cassy. "Sure," said Lilliana. "Thanks," said Cassy. "Hello," said Mrs. Lucy. "Mrs. Lucy!" exclaimed Lilliana. "What are you doing here?". "Visiting you!" said Mrs. Lucy. "And to bring you some news." She whispered. "Bad or good?" asked Cassy stuffing the last of her sugar cookie in her mouth. "Well, it depends on how you take it." Said Mrs. Lucy. "Tell it to us." Said Victoria. "You will not be going to Skonth High School in the fall!" said Mrs. Lucy. "What?" exclaimed Cassy spitting out her cookie. "Yes," said Mrs. Lucy. "Have we done poorly in school?" asked Lilliana? "I don't understand!" she said. "I always get good grades!" Lilliana moaned. "It is not about your grades! Please let me explain!" said Mrs. Lucy. "You have been assigned a task that will take up a year. Then you will...go on another route and then that will take a year." Said Mrs. Lucy. "And you'll need to separate," She finished. "Oh my gosh," said Lilliana. "You need to be prepared!" she said and she left. "Haven't we got enough on our mind already?" sighed Lilliana. "Yes indeed," said Cassy. "The day is over." Said Victoria. "Yeah, now let's go home!" said Lilliana. "Lane B?" asked Cassy. "Yeah, I suppose so." Said Victoria.
Lilliana, Cassy, and Victoria all went outside to wait for the cars. Once Mrs. Rocoplant (Rebecca) drove into the lane, the three girls got in. Once they got home, they looked around hopelessly at Lil Here is where our story starts.
