"What is it Tae?" Yoongi asked, clearly too tired to be dealing with his energy.
JK had just finished his song and it took every ounce of Taehyung's strength to not completely melt in his chair. His voice is so peaceful when he's not singing the usual pop songs, the mellowness to his tone relaxing everyone around him as they sat around the fire.
Taehyung could listen to him forever.
"You three," Taehyung started, pointing at Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok, gaining their curious eyes' attention. "Are going to do a trio."
His "request" (demand) was immediately met with the groans and complaints of the three. All whining about how they can't sing. Taehyung just rolled his eyes and held his hands up, vaguely hearing his other friend's snickers at the three men's pouts.
"You don't have to sing," he stated. "You all rap!"
Namjoon widened his eyes comically, looking at either boy to the side of him. Hoseok, Yoongi, then back to Hoseok, but the second time his expression held a hint of betrayal. "You rap?!" he exclaimed. "We've known each other for how many weeks now and I didn't know you rap?? How did I not know that? Why didn't you tell me?" Taehyung snickered as he watched the scene unfold, only vaguely noticing JK leaving towards him a little as he watched the scene unfold, sitting in the chair next to Tae.
"Babe," Hoseok started, an amused smile on his face. "You could barely say I rap. And I'm no where near as good as you anyways." The adoration he held in his eyes as he looked at Namjoon was something Taehyung wasn't used to seeing. But it was fitting on him as he put his hand on top of the other's.
"It's not a competition," he mumbled. "You should've told me."
"Alright alright, I'm sorry," he chuckled.
"And what about you?" Namjoon started, turning towards Yoongi? "You rap?"
The man in question snorted. "I produce. I don't rap."
"BULL SHIT!" Taehyung called from his spot. "You really think I don't know about your secret mix tapes 'Agust D'?" he air quoted.
Yes, Taehyung knew that his best friend had secrets. But when you leave an antsy Taehyung alone in your studio for an hour straight, you can't expect him to stay still. Now he wasn't trying to uncover anything...it just kind of...happened.
Yoongi, on the other hand, looked mortified. "You know about that?" he spoke quietly.
"Wait," JK sat straight in his seat, leaning forward so his forearms pressed against the arm rests. "You're AgustD? The sound cloud rapper?" Namjoon, for some reason, looked equally as surprised.
Yoongi furrowed his brows, "Well now that Tae went and exposed me, yeah. I am. Why?"
"Dude, I freaking love your mixtapes!" the idol exclaimed. This perked Yoongi's attention.
"Huh?"
"You have literally the sickest beats and your style is so smooth! I've been listening to your music for two years! I can't believe this. You're Agust D!"
So even idols are fans...
"Uh, yeah." Yoongi didn't know what to do with himself. Taehyung couldn't tell if his cheeks were glowing red from the praise or it was just the fire's reflection.
"Holy crap," Namjoon finally spoke up, facing the boy completely. "He showed me your stuff ages ago and immediately I tried contacting you. Do you not check your email?! I want you at our company. Hell, I want to collab with you!"
"Holy shit," Yoongi whispered, glancing at seokjin from across the fire, a wide smile on the older's face. "No, I don't check my sound cloud email. I just do commissions from home, holy f*ck. Are you for real?" He was starting to speak up now, gaining a little more confidence in his voice.
Taehyung couldn't help but look at the man beside him, a wide smile on his face, eyes round in anticipation as he answers Namjoon's questions.
"I'm dead serious!" Namjoon said, looking equal parts hopeful as he is excited. "I could easily get you a position as a producer. And you'd even be able to release your own songs under the company. No need for performances or anything live like JK, you could just be a studio boy like me."
Yoongi didn't have to think twice, looking at Taehyung, silently thanking him for being snoopy and exposing his secret at the same time. "Yeah, that'd be awesome. I'd love to!"
"Great!" Taehyung said, clapping his hands and gaining everyone's attention. "Now you three, rap!"
The three got up from their chairs, Hoseok looking extremely dazed as he wrapped his head around everything he just learn about one of his closest friends and join the other two in picking out a song.
Taehyung took this opportunity to tap JK on the shoulder, gaining his smiley attention immediately.
"I didn't know someone as famous as you could be such a huge fan," he teased.
"Shut up," he mumbled, unable to contain his smile. "Everyone is a fan of something. And you've listened to his stuff, right? There's absolutely no reason he should be on Sound Cloud. He's so incredibly talented."
Taehyung nodded, smiling. "Yeah, all my friend are."
"You are too," the raven haired said, nudging his shoulder.
"Me?" Taehyung scoffed. "Please."
"Oh come on, I've seen your drawings. They're incredible."
Taehyung froze for a second, "...You've seen my drawings?"
JK blinked, then nodded. "Uh, yeah. Jin hyung showed me some that you posted on the way here...they're really good."
That makes sense...of course jin hyung would show him.
"Thanks," Taehyung smiled before turning to the trio whose music just came on.
This was gonna be a fun night.
