Third Person's POV
After eating. They got ready to go back to their classes. Jay wanted to talk to Jungwon a bit so they were left behind. Sunghoon was walking to their class when he smelled Jake again.
This time, they really walked pass each other. Sunghoon, unconsciously following him.
Jake went to grab a seat in the library and he rested his head in the table.
'Is he sleeping?'
Sunghoon stared at him.
'Is he okay?'
He checked his phone.
'He's not going to class?'
He thinks. What should he do? Just go out and attend his class like what his plan is? Or stay there and watch Jake even if Heeseung said not to interact with him yet?
'Screw it.'
He took a step closer. Just two tables in between them. He can smell him. And 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵.
'Damn. Is this what I'm supposed to feel?'
He sat in the chair. He didn't bother to move. He just sat there. Contemplating if he should take another step forward or not. He called Jay.

"𝐉𝐚𝐲? 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐞"
'This might not work. He's too far.'
"𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧? 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐨? 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮?"
He knows he can't just tell him that Jake is right in front of him now. He can't.
"𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥."
"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲?"
"𝐈'𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬. 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫."
He said as he blocked him again. He looked at Jake. Gulping, he stood up and bravely walked to him.
'This is so addicting. He smells heavenly.'
He's now right in front of Jake. He was about to sit beside him when Jake suddenly moved.
'What the—'
Jake changed position. With his head resting on his hands, he's now facing Sunghoon's direction.
'He's sleeping. My baby's sleeping.'
He quietly sat beside him. The moment he did, he was lost.
He seemed to be in a garden. Full of magnolias. And it's making him speechless.
'He smells so sweet.'
He stared at Jake, the man is still in a deep sleep.
Unconsciously, he raised his hand. And before he could even realize it, he was already caressing his hair.
'It's so soft. Just like what I've imagined.'
Jake is a light sleeper. He should've woke up now. But he was sick. And he wants to sleep.
"Mom......."
Surprised, Sunghoon stared at him.
'Mom? Wait. Am I seeing things right?'
Sunghoon was surprised again. Jake is crying. Tears are falling on his face.
'No. Baby. Don't cry. Don't cry.'
Not knowing what to do, he caressed his hair again. He went closer.
'Shit. What am I doing?'
He don't know how. He don't even know why. He just suddenly went closer to him, wiping his tears as he continued caressing his hair.
"It's okay love. I'm here. I'm here. Everything's okay. Don't cry baby. Don't."
He whispered. He was so close. And he can't help but to feel mesmerized seeing him this close.
'You're gorgeous.'
He continued to stare at him. He felt him relax with his touch as he stopped crying. Soft sniffs are heard, Sunghoon smiled.
'You're making me speechless.'
