About the challenge: You will be prompted by five words. The challenge is to write a short story based on the words given to you!
The catch is, your max word count is 800 words.
Example
If your words are: 'piano, Victorian, unrequited, death, and secret'...
An idea of a story could be:
'Set in the Victorian era, a piano prodigy dies an untimely death and their life is retold from the perspective of the person closest to them, the person to who their unrequited love was directed. The person telling the story only realizes, at the end of the story, too late, that their deceased friend had harbored secret love all along.'
How it works: You will be provided with a 5 word prompt, using which you have to create a story idea, submit it and tag us at @TheGemmeCommunity.
Submission
For the submission, you are required to create a Wattpad book and tag @TheGemmeCommunity, or, you can also dedicate a chapter to the contest in your existing book and tag us. (Remember that the story you create has to be new with an original plot, and not part of an existing plot or story)
