Rise of the Wise Prince of Ice

Suffering the royalty
Craving to depose
My tyrannous forefather;
But I shut myself.
Silenced.
Wondering why
Those unschooled
Of the crux of crisis
Defined what's sinful,
Sordid, sacrilegious.
Why is novelty rebellious?
Why rebellions crucial to change?
I seeked change.
To amend a defective past
To ameliorate the present
To fabricate a future
Wherein my old, withered self
Shall dwindle- but in peace.
I desired that future.
"If change be its driver,
I will lead it.
I was determined."
I convinced myself-
I shall oust the king;
Not for the mere, sheer greed
Of power
But for the change I so dearly craved.
For a future I desired.
