All the people in the living room were looking at Anirudh as if two horns were grown on his head. Anirudh felt awkward and hesitantly asked - kya hua aap sab mujhe aise kyun dekh rhe hain?
Kaka- yahi soch rhe hain ki jo tumne abhi kaha kya woh sach hai?
Anirudh-meine aisa kya kehe diya?
Som- kya Keh diya? Kya nhi kaha aapne?
Batuk - haan Dada aapne bohot kuch Keh diya!
Anirudh, irritated - aisa kya kaha meine!
Bondita - aapne yeh kaha ki aap apna kamra mujhe de rhe hain!
Anirudh - haan toh!!
Som- toh Dada, aisa kya ho gya ki aapne boudi ko apna kamra de diya! Mera matlab hai aap apne kamre mein Hum sab ko kuch chunne nhi dete aur apna sidha aapna kamra de diya boudi ko!
Anirudh - haan toh meine isliye diya kyunki woh jis kamre mein reh rhi thi woh batuk ke wajah se kharab ho gya hai aur toh aur koi aur kamra khaali bi nhi hai!
Batuk- haina!! Naina didi ka kamra!
Som, kaka, and naina glared him and asked him to keep his mouth closed.
Naina - nhi nhi!! Mera matlab hai ki mein neend mein na bohot ulti seedhi harkatein karti hoon! Aur mein bohot laat bhi maarti hoon! Bondita agar mere paas rahegi toh agle din hi mere kamre se bhaag jayegi!
Bondita was giving suspicious look to naina but naina gave an innocent smile and looked in front.
Anirudh-toh tay rha! Bondita mere kamre mein rahegi aur mein study mein!
Bondita - par kya aapko takleef nhi hogi?
Anirudh - koi baat nhi, mein reh lunga! Tum fikar mat karo!!
Bondita nodded.
Kaka-chalo theek hai! Tum dono jao aur taiyar hoke aa jao.
Bondita-par kyun?
Kaka - Aaj Ram Navmi hai! Pooja mein Jo prashaad chadheya jayega uska bhog bahu banayegi !
Anirudh - par kaka, yeh bhog koi aur bhi bana sakta hai! Bondita ke karne se yaa naa karne se kya hoga? Bondita 15 saal ki bachi hai, uska abhi yoon rasoi ghar mein jaana aur kaam karna galat hai!
Kaka - tumhare maane naa maane se Hume koi farak nhi padta!! Humne jo kaha usko humara aadesh samjhke palan karo! Aurton ke kaamo mein tum naahi bolo toh behtar hai! Bolo bahu bana logi?
Bondita - jii bana toh lungi par kaka sasur ji--
Kaka - Humne kaha na humara aadesh hai! Toh tay rha bhog bahu hi banayegi!
Anirudh and bondita sighed. They gave a look towards kaka and then at each other and left for their respective rooms. All this while these scenes were seen by saudamini. She was burning in anger and jealousy. She was thinking to kick bondita out of this house very soon.She left towards her house to get ready as trilochan kaka had invited her family also.Anirudh ordered bihari to get his clothes from him room and keep it in the study. Bondita who went towards Anirudhs room ,stopped at the entrance of the room and remembered the incident which happened. She was little scared to enter his room. Som who was passing by saw his boudi standing at the entrance. He came towards her.
Som- boudi kya hua? Aap yahan kyun khadi ho gyi? Andar jaiyiye na!!
Boudi - dada woh mujhe kamre mein jaane se thoda dar lag rha hai!
Som-kyun? Kamre mein konse keede maukode tandav kar rhe hain?
Bondita-nhi dadaa! Baat woh nhi hai! Woh aapko yaad hai na uss raat..
Som realised the reason. He cursed his brother and tried to console his boudi.
Som- mein maanta hoon uss raat jo hua woh galat tha! Par hum usse badal toh nhi sakte na! Kuch nhi hoga! Ghabrayiye mat!
Bondita-hmm!! Mein kapde badal kar aati hoon! Saying this she entered the room. Som gave a sighing smile and left.
Bondita as entered remembered all the events that took place in this room. She remembered how anirudhh accused her for his sufferings and held her hand so tightly that she got hurt. Thinking of this a tear rolled out of her eyes. She wiped it and asked herself - mujhe kyun bura lag rha hai!
She took a saree which her kaka sasoor ji had sent for her to wear in the rasam. She quickly freshen up and wore the saree. She saw on her bed that some jewelleries were there which she had to mandatorily wear. Though she didn't want to wear but she wore it for her KSJ. She applied Alta. When she herself on the mirror she thought what was missing. Then her eyes went towards the sindoor box which is given to every bride during her wedding and has to apply it there after. Every bride should be happy to wear sindoor of her husband's name but Bondita didn't understand what to do. She should be happy or should be sad to happening in her life. Bondita had to apply sindoor as it was mandatory for every bride. A sad smile appeared on her face but somewhere in her heart she was happy to wear it. She came out of her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door.
AS soon as she opened the door she was little shocked to see Saudamini standing in front of her. She was having a a weired feeling because the woman in front of her was roaming around her constantly.
Bondita - jii! Aap yahan!?
Saudamini - tumne mujhe pehchaana?
Bondita - haan woh --
Saudamini cutting off her in middle of the sentence - janti hoon! Anirudhh ne hi tumhe mere baare mein bataya hoga! Mein uski bachpan ki dost aur uska pyaar! Lekin humari shaadi nhi hui kyunki... Khair ab jab uski shaadi tumhare sath ho gyi hai toh uski dulhan ka khyal rakhna mera kaam hai! Tum meri choti behen jaisi ho!
Bondita - Mujhe Acha laga ki aap ne mujhe apni choti behen mana. Uss naate mein apko didi zaroor bulaungi. Lekin mujhe aapke bare mein aapke anirudh ji ne nhi balki som dada ne bataya hai! Aur apko meri fikar karne ki zaroorat nhi hai, mein apna khayal khud rakh sakti hoon! Dhanyvaad.
Saudamini was about to interrupt when they heard a voice - Bahuu! Kidhar reh gyi? Jaldi aao! Sab intezaar kar rhe hai!
Bondita gave a smile to saudamini and yelled - aayi kaka sasoor ji!! And left the room.
Saudamini erupted in anger and said - bondita! Aaj peheli baar, Anirudh ne kisi aur ko apna kamra diya hai! Tumme aisa kya hai jo anirudh ne seedha apna kamra de diya hai?!
Binoy entered - saudamini tum kuch karogi bhi yaa aise hi haath par haath dhare baithe rahogi? Haan? Aare uss ladki ko iss ghar mein aaye huye 2 din nhi huye usne anirudh se uska Kamara cheen liya, kal ko agar ussne Anirudh ko hi--
Saudamini, shouting- kabhi nhi! Aisa kabhi nhi hoga! Anirudh sirf mera hai aur mera hi rahega! Uska kamra, uska ghar,uska dil aur dimag, aur uski zindagi pe sirf aur sirf mera hak hai! Sirf mera!
Binoy - toh jaldi kuch karo! Saying this he left.
Saudamini was also about to leave when her eyes went towards the Sindoor box. She picked it up and said - Bondita! Anirudhh ke naam ka jitna sindoor apni maang mein lagana hai laga lo par jaldi hi Anirudh meri maang mein yahi sindoor bharega aur woh humesha ke liye mera ho jayega. Saying this she kept the box and left the room.
Downstairs, living room.
The whole haveli was decked up into beautiful flowers like Roses, Orchids and Marygold. Lights and diyas surrounded the whole haveli. Curtains like Orange, yellow and white went well with the flowers. In the entrance people were standing welcoming the guests who were welcomed for Ram Navmi. The whole village of invited for Ram Navmi and the village people were excited to see the Badi Bahu of Haveli. Pandits were also called so that the pooja could more peacefully and properly with the respective Mantras. The pandit were escorted towards the Mandir where there was Murti of Ayodhya pati Ram Chandra, Mata Sita and Rajkumar Lakshman. The Murti was so beautiful that one can keep on looking at it for days, months and even years if their bhakti is pure and strong. The whole Mandir was fully decorated by Diyas. The whole Mandir was decorated as if Diwali had come already. A beautiful rangoli was also made.The pandits were awestruck to see the Mandir. Indeed the people say that, Trilochan Roy Chowdhury is very big devotee of God and Goddesses. On the other side the Trilochan kaka had called the people who had to make the food but he strictly instructed that the bhog had to be made by bahu only.He instructed the decorators to finish up their work quickly and join in the puja. The decorators were happy and shocked to hear what their beloved mallik said. Though Trilochan kaka may seem to have a stern and hard face but inside he was really soft and caring towards his people whether it be his family or whole Tulsipur. Trilochan kaka saw that Som and Batuk were welcoming the guests.He looked for his twin brother Binoy. He saw that he was coming from Bondita's room. He was confused and scared if he said something to his beloved bahu. He remembered that he called bondita few mins ago and looked around only to see that Bondita was going towards the kitchen to make prashad. He let out a sigh only to get confused, that if Bondita is here, then what was Binoy doing in Anirudh and Bondita room. He called Binoy.
Trilochan kaka- Binoyy!!
Binoy - ji da! Aapne bulaya?
Trilochan- tum bahu ke kamre se aa rahe ho, kuch baat hui kya tumhari uske Saath!?
Binoy, shocked but calmy replied -ji daa woh mein bondita se hi baat karne gya tha!
Trilochan kaka-par bahu toh piche 30 min se neeche hai, toh wahan kamre mein kisse baat karne gye the, sheeshe se?
Binoy- ji da, mera matlab da mein bondita se baat karne gya tha par woh wahan nhi thi isliye mein aa gya. Yahi kuch Paanch min pehele gya tha!
Trilochan kaka still had a doubt and was about to interrogate ahead when Pandit ji called him to get the prashad.Saudamini had already come down and was smirking.
Flashback.
Saudamini entered the kitchen and saw that prashad had already been made. She said to herself - kaka bohot bahu bahu kar rhe the na! Kaka woh log pasand nhi jo pooj paath mein koi vihghana daale! Ab agar unki pyaari bahu rani ko ghar se nikalna hai tih, mujhe vihghna tih daalna padega na! Maaf karna kaka!!
She went and put some sort of powder in it. She mixed it and was about to leave when Anirudh entered.
Anirudh pulled her to a side and held her arm tightly. They were really close to each other.
Anirudh - kyun kar rhi ho yeh sab?
Saudamini wriggling in his hold- mein kya kar rhi hoon!?
Anirudh - yeh jo bhi Bondita aur mera swagat karna, uski madat karna, sabke Saamne mahan banna..
Saudamini--mahaan toh banne ho Anirudh, uss ladki ki jaan bacha ne ke liye vivah karke!
Abirudh was about to speak when they heard the voice of kaka.
Kaka from outside - bahuu! Prashad le aao! Pooja ka samay ho gya hai!
Anirudh was about to go away when saudamini taking this as the opportunity pretended to fall. Anirudh held her. Bondita entered the kitchen-aayi kaka sasoor ji...
She saw the scene in front of her. She being embarrassed, said - woh kaka..
Anirudh immediately left saudamini and went out. Saudamini gave a awkward smile to Bondita which soon turned into a smirk and left the kitchen.
Bondita felt bad what she saw today in kitchen. She didn't know why but she felt bad seeing them so close to each other. She shrugged her shoulders and took the prashad and left. Saudamini was standing outside and when she saw bondita going out of the kitchen she come out of her hiding place and said to her self - Bondita, Bondita, Bondita!! Dheere dheere karke mein aise hi tumse sab kuch cheen lungi! Sab kuch. Bahu hone ka adhikar, boudi bulane ka adhikar, Patni hone ka adhikar, maang aur shakapola phene ka woh bhi Anirudh ke naam ka, woh adhikar sab kuch sab kuch tumse cheen lungi! Kyunki jo cheez meri hai woh sir meri hi rahegi! Kisi aur ki nhi! Ab tum dekhna mein kaise tumhari zindagi se Saari khushiyaan cheeni hoon.
Flashback ends
Trilochan kaka nodded and called Bondita to get the prashaad.
Bondita with a happy face came and kept the prashad. All were awestruck to see her beauty. She was looking beautiful in Traditional red saree with little bit of jewellery and the juda of her hair. The Alta, Sindoor on her maang and little bindi was completely giving a different look to her. Bondita came and kept the prashaad on the platform and sat near it as Pandit ji told to do so. Soon Anirudh came, stood beside Saudamini. Kaka who saw this was annoyed by it and called Anirudh.
Kaka - Anirudh!
Anirudh - ji kaka!
Kaka - aikhane aaye! (idhar aao)
Anirudh coming towards him- ji kahiye!
Kaka- jao Jaake bahu ke paas baitho aur Nav jode ka diya jalao.
Anirudh, perplexed - kyaa!?
Kaka - hum kuch nhi sunna chahate! Jao aur kaha hai woh karo! Tara Tari jaa!
Anirudh was about to protest but seeing the stern stare of his kaka he went towards bondita and sat beside her.
Bondita surprised - aap yahan kya kar rhe hai!
Anirudh-kaka ne bhja hai!
Bondita - toh mana kar dete!
Anirudh--mana kiya tha par kaka nhi maane!
Bondita - ooo!
Anirudh - woh tum jab rasoi ghar..
Bondita - mujhe uss baare mein baat nhi karni, mein jaanti hoon aap dono ek dusre se pyaar karte hai isliye.. Khair Pooja mein Dhyaan dete hai!
Anirudh nodded thinking that Bondita is mature enough to understand the situation but little did he knew that whatever she said had hurt her. She doesn't know the reason yet why but she did get hurt.
