"Mother, I would like you to meet my friend Y/N." Andromeda's wedding had been a splendid occasion even though she is now married to a muggleborn. Everyone disagrees, leading to Andromeda getting disowned. Druella was the only one in the family to go to the wedding which Andromeda greatly appreciated. As she was only staying by the drinks most of the time having no one to speak to except her daughter. Andromeda noticed her mother not enjoying herself as much as she could. While Andromeda could not blame her, all her family decided not to go, more like screamed and yelled, but you know how the black family is. It was a blessing when Druella showed up. Andromeda started talking to a friend (y/n) after her mother had left to get another drink. Andromeda thought Y/N and druella would get along seeing as her mother is 35 and Y/N is 27 so they had a near age similarity. Only Andromeda knew but Druella hated the marriage she had. She didn't like her husband as she was lesbian, which no one knew exept for her nice daughter Andromeda. So as Y/N was interested in girls preferably women she wanted to introduce them in case they hitted it off. "Mother, I would like you to meet my friend Y/N." And that's how they got there Andromeda introducing Y/N to her mother. She turned and looked at Y/N seeing as she looked close to her age, Druella looked to her daughter and her daughter muttered a spell that she could speak with her mother telepathically. "It's alright, she knows, and she likes women too, she's trusting and won't tell a soul. She's perfect, mom" Her mother smiled and looked back at Y/N who was confused as why the two were just staring at each other and sometimes raising their eyebrows. "Hello there, my name is Druella" Druella says with a smile. Y/N looks to Andromeda who has said her mother could be rude and strict at times but all in all such a lovable person. She understands the loveable but not the rude. "Hello Druella, my name is Y/N, Andromeda has told me so much about you" Druella raises her brows. Y/N paniks and says "All good things!" with sweat starting to form on her forehead. Druella just laughs and says "I know, would you like to go dance?" Y/N nods and blushes. Y/N gaining her courage holds out her hand for Druella to take. Druella blushes and takes Y/N's hand as Y/N leads her to the dance floor. They dance for what seems like forever and after another song ends, a slow one comes on. Y/N's face goes red as does Druella's. Y/N holds out her hand once more. Druella is not used to this politeness and she's had more fun in this single night than she had had in the last 15 years. Which isn't a lot, time flies by when you're not paying attention and not really care.
Druella really likes this woman. She's sweet and kind. Y/N can say the same exact thing, She thought Druella would be rude and cold, but Druella is soft, quiet, and sweet. Y/N has never been one for love at first sight but Druella was the definition of gorgeous. Y/N thought that the first time she laid eyes on Druella. She brings Druella in and puts her hands on her waist and Druella blushes and puts her hands on her shoulders. Andromeda was watching from afar happy for her mother who was in a loveless relationship that was forced and her closest friend who has never been in a single good relationship, all cheating on her or leaving her with a broken heart. But Andromeda can see that both of them are fond of each other. Both of their stomach's swim with butterflies. As the slow song continues on Y/N wraps her arms around Druella's waist Druella blushes a deep deep red and wraps her arms around Y/N'S neck. "You look beautiful by the way.." Y/N told Druella. Druella got a rush of serotonin and laughed while her face went beat red. "Thank you, you look beautiful Y/N" "Thank you Druella" Y/N noticed whenever she said her name she would smile a little more so she would continue to overuse her name just to see her smile. Y/N looked down unsure of how to bring up the next topic she wanted to ask her. Druella noticed and smiled which caught Y/N's attention. Y/N looked up and smiled, which Druella also love's the way Y/N smiles. If anyone looked over at them they would think they're just another couple hopelessly in love. "Druella, would you go on a date with me?" Druella suddenly stops dancing. Andromeda "forgot" to tell Y/N she was married. Because if Y/N no matter what that she wouldn't date Druella because she didn't want to be a homewrecker. But of course things never work out for Y/N. "I-im sorry, is it too early? Or you just don't want to go with me at all and here I am rambling in front of you in the middle of the dancing floor"
"Y/N...I'm married.." Y/N stops. Her heart stops. All the butterflies in her stomach drop dead. All the serotonin she had got pulled away and she was left feeling as though a dementor just passed by her. For the last 30 seconds it had been silent between the two not counting the next slow song coming on. "Please speak darling." Druella goes to take her hand but Y/N pulls it back sharply. "D-don't t-touch me p-please"
Druella's heart shatters. How did she end up in this situation? How stupid of her.
She fell in love with girl in front of her. It hasn't even been a solid day yet. Andromeda must not have told her that she was married. But she's not sorry, just for the short amount of time she's known Y/N she loves every part of it. Y/N backs up and runs into people dancing. She turns around and mutters a sorry to them, which the couple dancing can see that tears have started to drop so they just give her a nod and continue dancing feeling bad for the girl that by the looks of it just had her heart broken. She turns back to Druella one more time, Druella gasping at how broken she looks. Tears pour down her face as she closes her eyes and runs off. Y/N runs to Andromeda and says "Why didn't you tell me your mother was married. I-I f-fell in love with h-her and she's-married." She runs outside to get some cool air still sobbing as she runs past people to the cold night where the moon lights up the large plot of grass. Andromeda turned a pale porcelain white. She didn't want it to go this way. She wanted her mother to fall in love, leave her husband and be with someone that makes her generally happy. Druella runs into Andromeda crying "Where is she? Please I-I need to find her!" Andromeda looked shocked. Her mother hasn't shown this much emotion since...well she couldn't remember the last time she saw her mother cry. Her mother was emotionless 99% of the time only showing small smiles to her. Andromeda quickly points outside wanting this to be fixed. Druella runs outside and hears the quiet sobs of Y/N. Her heart broke even more. She runs and finds her sitting on the ground with her head in her lap knees up to her chest. Druella sighs and leans against the wall next to her and pulls out a fancy cigarette holder. Y/N relaxing at the sounds of her clinking. She lights the cigarette and takes a deep breath blowing out the smoke. "I thought you knew darling. I'm sorry for causing you pain, I just want you to know that I plan on leaving him soon. Not for you mainly, but just because it's a loveless marriage. He doesn't love me and I don't love him, it was arranged by my father. All because of money. It feels like I've known you for years. I don't believe I could ever fall in love again. As who would want to love me? I've got three children and a deadbeat husband. Then I met you, and that was the first time I have been happy in I don't even know how many years. So I enjoyed dancing with you. I would have said yes to the date with you by the way" She says looking down at Y/N who by now has stopped crying and was staring at the moon but still intensively listening to Druella. They make eye contact and Druella turns again. "Wouldn't that be lovely? A date with you. It wouldn't be cheating as he and I have made an agreement where we could date and do whatever only staying married for the kids. But as they're all grown up we have no reason. I know it's silly darling but you make me feel like I could take on anyone." She stops leaning and steps on her cigarette. She turns and looks back at Y/N "I'm sorry I ruined what we had" She goes to walk away but Y/N rushes up and turns Druella around and kisses her. Druella stumbled back, being taken by surprise. But no doubt she kisses back and holds her like if she didn't hold her close enough she would float away and disappear. "Let me take you home darling" Y/N blushes at the nickname and nods. They go inside to tell Andromeda that they're leaving and Druella would see her soon. They go to her car and Druella drives Y/N back to her house. "Would you like to stay the night? We could hang out some more?" Druella turns pink and considers it and then agrees. They walked inside and Y/N told her to "Just pick out whatever you want" as she was going to go to the kitchen to make them something to eat. Druella picks a shirt and silk shorts and lets her hair down and brushes it. She walks into the kitchen and sees Y/N humming with her hair flowing down her back with a crop top and shorts.. Y/N turns around after finishing up and her jaw drops at the sight of her. Her eyes went from down to up and admired the way her legs looked in her shorts and her hair. Druella's face goes pink as she shits uncomfortablely. Y/N notices what she's doing and mutters an apology. And takes the plates and takes them to the coffee table she bends down and puts the plates on the table. Not knowing she was giving Druella a perfect view of your ass. Druella takes in account how you look. You have turned around by now watching Druella check you out. Her eyes scanning Y/N's long legs with her belly showing and her hair going past her shoulders. Druella turns pink as Y/N laughs and takes her hand and leads her to the couch. They sit down next to each other on the floor backs leaning against the couch. Watching some muggle disney movies. After the movie ends and they finish eating, Y/N tells Druella to go freshen up or whatever as she takes care of the dishes. Y/N finishes and goes to her room. To see Druella nervously sitting on the bed. "Where would you like me to sleep?" "Would you like to sleep in my bed...with me? We can cuddle...I want to cuddle...You probably don't and I'm just saying this stuff and I probably seem really weird to you sorry." Druella came up and pulled her into a kiss silencing her, She led Y/N to the bed as they both got under and wrapped their arms and legs around each other. And for the first time in awhile, they both slept so peacefully that night.
A/N I'm so sorry I didn't really know a lot about Druella, so I did my best and did my research. And this is what happened. Being honest I love how it turned out. It honestly made me cry a bit.
