Chapter 40: The Coronation
Shaine's POV
"Tonight we will be able to watch the coronation night that we are all waiting for, after a couple of hours we will witness the first public appearance of the first Grand Princess of Rallnedia."
Bawat paglingon ko sa sulok ng palasyo ay may mga kamerang nakabantay, mula sa gate hanggang sa entrance, maging sa mga pasilyo patungo dito sa event hall kung saan magaganap ang coronation. Kung ang traditional coronation sa apat na naging hari ng bansang ito ay ginanap sa sagradong simbahan, ito naman ang kauna unahang coronation na ginanap dito sa mismong palasyo.
"After the tragic fate of the last King Louise Achelles Wayler and Queen Elisita Wayler. We will now have their only daughter, the Grand Princess."
Nanggaling pa sa iba't-ibang lugar ang mga media na nandito ngayon upang saksihan ang kauna unahang public appearance ni Dia bilang Grand Princess, magkahalong kaba at excitement ang bumabalot sa dibdib ko sa mga sandaling iyon.
Maya maya pa ay napansin ko ang pagdami ng mga tao, mula sa entrance hanggang sa event hall. Napansin ko naman si Krish na kadarating lang kasama si Mr. Crane.
"My Lady."
"Change your gown, and Mr. Crane will you please guard the main entrance here?"
"Yes my lady." Pagkuway ay tumungo na rin kami agad ni Krish sa kuwarto.

"After coronation, isalaysay mo ang lahat ng nakuha mong impormasyon." Bulong ko kay Krish habang naghihintay sa pagpatak ng alas otso y media.
"Sigurado po ba kayo na darating ang Prinsesa? Ilang minuto na lang po bago magsimula ang coronation."
Ang totoo hindi ako sigurado kung darating si Dia, pero may kumpeyansa akong magpapakita siya ngayong gabi. Ngunit hindi ko alam kung anong oras.
Mahabang oras ang kailangan sa biyahe mula Pilipinas hanggang Rallnedia kaya kinakabahan pa rin ako sa kung anumang mangyari ngayong gabi.
"Cancellation of coronation is still a big issue a week ago. We still have no answer from the Duchess of Stania, Evelyn Mondragon. Are they avoiding this issue? Or do they have a reason to change of the schedule? Let's witness that tonight, we're live here in Aeshbrioul Palace, I'm Cait Sebastian your reporter for this evening."
Habang dumarami ang pagdami ng tao kasama na ang mga representative ng bawat city which is ang mga Duke at Duchess maging ang iba pang noble person ay sinimulan ng patugtugin ang dalawang trumpeta na isa sa pinakalumang musical instruments dito sa Rallnedia.
"Let us welcome her grace, Duchess Evelyn Mondragon of Stania!" Sabay sabay kaming napatayo ng marinig iyon, lahat ng atensyon namin ay nakapukaw sa right hall kung saan may kurtina na kulay pula habang naghihintay sa paglabas ni Duchess Eve para sa opening remarks.
Umupo na kami sa assigned chair namin nang makalabas ni Duchess Eve mula sa kanang bahagi ng pasilyo. May ngiti sa kanyang labi na tila ba hindi nag-aalala sa susunod na mangyayari.
"Good evening to each and everyone, a warm welcome to every royalties and nobles gathered tonight for the coronation here at Aeshbrioul Palace. Tonight marks the 25th year that the throne of Rallnedia remains vacant after the fate of the late King and Queen on September 5, 1995, if we look back at the achievements of our late King and Queen they will never be able to reciprocate their sacrifices to keep our country in peace and have a future. Based on the survey when they were still alive, it is undeniable that they were the last leaders who fought for justice for the sake of this country."
Anong tumatakbo sa isip mo ngayon Tita Vel? Anong plano mo? Paano mo masasalba ang trono mula sa kamay ng mga Swisly? Tanong ng isip ko sa mga sandaling iyon. Patuloy lang siya sa pagsasalita kasabay ng bawat tanong sa isipan ko na hindi ko rin mabigyan ng solusyon.
"My Lady nandiyan na po ang headcourt at ang headpriest dala ang korona, orb at ang sceptre ng Rallnedia." Bulong ni Krish habang nakatuon ang atensyon sa unahang bahagi ng function hall. Sabay sabay naman kaming tumayo sa mga oras na iyon bilang paggalang sa tatlong bagay na sumisimbulo sa bansang ito.
"Let us give a respect for the headpriest and headcourt carrying the Rallnedias' crown, orb and sceptre."
Inilabas ko mula sa hand bag ang cellphone ko sa mga oras na iyon. Napakunot na lang ang noo ko ng mapansin na wala kahit isang notification mula kay Dia, maging kay Gene na dapat ay nandito ngayong gabi.
"Krish make sure that everything is under control."
"Yes my lady, everyone are waiting for her royal highness presence."
Hindi ako mapakali sa kinatatayuan ko sa mga sandaling iyon. Ilang sandali lang ang lumipas ay ipinatong na ng headpriest ang glass box ng korona, kasama ang orb at sceptre na kapwa kulay pula.
"Please be seated. And thank you your grace for the welcome remarks." Bumaba mula sa mababang stage si Tita Vel at umupo sa bakanteng upuan sa pinakaunahan ng function hall.
"Tonight as we held the 25th year of the vacant throne of Rallnedia. I as the headpriest have the power to crown the right next ruler of this country, I have the right to make a decision and chose the next in line of late King Louise Wayler. I, together with headcourt and other fellow juris have already decided who is the rightful ruler for this evening."
"I know you are looking forward to seeing the Princess tonight. Please give a warm welcome to our future Queen. Her Royal Highness Gissela Dialaldi Wayler, Princess of Rallnedia!"
Nanlaki ang mata ko sa mga sandaling sabihin iyon ng headpriest. Napalingon kaming lahat sa likurang bahagi ng function hall. Muling nagsitayuan ang mga tao sa kanan at kaliwang bahagi ng function hall.
Muli ring tumunog ang trumpeta kasabay sa pagbukas ng malaking kurtina. Bumungad sa aking paningin ang kumikinang niyang suot na gown na kulay asul habang dahan dahang naglalakad papalapit sa unahan upang salubungin ang head priest at headcourt.
Napansin kong nagbubulungan ang ibang tao sa paligid kahit malakas ang tunog ng trumpeta ngunit mas pinili kong ituon ang atensyon sa naglalakad na si Dia.

Matapos ang mahabang salaysay ng headpriest tungkol sa mga tuntunin at obligasyon ay sinimulan niya na rin ang seremonya para sa pagtatalaga.
"She's nervous."
"Yeah I already noticed that from the start."
"Do you think she can fulfill her duties and responsibilities as the next Queen?"
"I don't think so."
"Yeah, but she's too young to be a queen."
"But she has the capabilities when I met her for the first. Her ideas about the upcoming project is amazing."
"I envy her braveness."
"So true. But I thought Duke Markus of Dunnelbridge will be the one to be crown tonight, am I not updated with the news?"
"I also heard a rumors, the news said that this Princess leave this country two weeks ago and the reason why the coronation was rescheduled tonight."
"Really? But there's another rumors about how did she end up to be the Princess."
"That rumors is nonsense, look at the Princess. She have the same gorgeous, innocent and beautiful face like the late King."
"Yeah but think of it. What if she done surgery to get the same face of the late King?"
"Hey guys, stop talking nonsense. We're here to witness the coronation, if you have doubt about her identity why don't you check out her profile online."
"Duke Karl you're taking her highness side aren't you?"
"I do not take any side of you. In fact I just want to have a Queen like her."
"Do you think she is perfect to be a girlfriend or to be a wife?"
"She's perfect to be a girlfriend or to be a wife but I'm not into her, what I mean is she's like my older sister to me. She treats me like her younger brother when we met for the second time, she's not just gorgeous, she's humble, funny, easy to talk and most importantly she's willing to help."
"And now you're fantasizing her."
"Do I need to repeat that I like her to be my older sister?"
"Fine your grace, she's your new older sister. So it's fine for you if we try to court her in the future?"
"No, you all need to get through me before you can court her."
Ang kakapal ng mukha ng mga batang ito. Sino kayo para manligaw sa pinsan ko? May gatas pa kayo sa labi tulad niyang Karl na 'yan! Sino ba ang nag-imbita sa mga mukong na 'to?
"My lady you're too obvious."
"Ha?" Napalingon ako kay Krish na natatawa pa sa hindi ko malamang dahilan.
"Halata po sa mukha niyo na nagagalit kayo sa tatlong lalaki na kasama ni Duke Karl ng Riandorr."
"Narinig mo ba ang pinag-uusapan nila?"
"Yes my lady. Why?"
"Tsaka sino ang nag-imbita sa kanila? Wala naman akong nabasa sa guest list na pupunta ang mga Sulein ngayong gabi."
"His grace invite them, hayaan niyo na po mga teenager lang sila kaya alam kong nagbibiruan lang sila."
"Hayaan? E may balak yata na umakyat ng ligaw sa maganda kong pinsan."
"Why not? Princess is single, so why not to make some flirt?"
"So you're against me now?"
"Hindi naman po, sa pag-aalam ko po kasi nagpapaligaw na si Princess kay Sir Nico."
"Ano? Kailan pa?" Biglang kumulo ang dugo ko sa narinig ko mula kay Krish.
"I'm just kidding, don't make it serious."
"Cancel my schedule tomorrow, kailangan kong makausap si Dia bukas na bukas, okay?"
"Yes my lady." Napabuntong hininga na lang akong napatingin sa kabuuan ng function hall dito sa palasyo.
