"Boss, mukhang may hang-up pa sa'yo si Flannery?" Kill smirked at me.
I took a deep breath of my stick then I blew the smoke before I faced Quill with a frown. "You seriously think that she's in love with me?" natatawang tanong ko.
Kill shrugged then she leaned her head on Xyz's shoulder. Nakakandong s'ya sa pinsan ko at kanina nga ay naabutan ko pa silang nag-me-make out dito sa balcony. Hindi ko na lang sila pinansin at sumandal na lang sa railings para manigarilyo.
There was never love between Flannery and I. It was pure friendship and sex.
"Bakit parang masama ang timpla mo ngayon, Car?" Xyz asked. He reached for a can of beer then served it to himself.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Hannah," simpleng sagot ko.
"Isn't she your girlfriend?" Xyz asked with a frown.
I gave him a sarcastic smile.
Nakita ko ang pagkunot ng noo ng pinsan ko. "The fuck? Bakit?"
Nagkibit-balikat ulit ako. "Ayaw pa e."
"You should understand her," Quilla said then she snatched the can of beer from X. "She's been by herself for a long time. For sure she's still adjusting to everything. And see her cousins? They're all controlling. At kahit hindi ko kilala ang pamilya n'ya, pupusta ako na over-protective sila kay Hannah, given the history. Baka hindi pa s'ya handa sa gan'ong klaseng reaksyon. She's too shy and timid."
"Malaki na nga ang improvement ni Hannah ngayon. Mas malala 'yan dati. Halos hindi nagsasalita at nakayuko lang," Xyz commented.
I just sighed then focused my attention on my stick.
Patapos na ko sa pangalawang sigarilyo ko nang dumating si Kai. Lihim na napangisi ako nang makita ko na bahagyang nangitim ang panga n'ya.
"Tangina ka, Carrack. Nagpasa 'yong suntok mo!" reklamo n'ya agad sa akin at inagaw ang pakete ng sigarilyo mula sa kamay ko. He got himself a stick then lighted it.
"Malay ko ba na 'di mo masasalag," sabi ko na lang.
Ilang saglit na nanahimik kaming apat. Nasa pang-apat nastick na ako nang biglang nagsalita si Sequoia. "I'm interested with Hannah," Kai said with a smirk. "Thatbeautiful feminine face, prim and proper demeanor, innocent charm and that bodythat can raise even the dick of a dead man," he dreamily added.
Mabilis ang naging kilos nila Quilla at Xyz. Hinawakan na agad ako ni Xyz habang si Quilla ay namaywang sa harap ni Kai.
"E interesado ka pa bang mabuhay?" tanong ni Quilla. I can imagine her eye roll.
Tinapik ko ang balikat ni Xyz para iparating na okay lang ako at hindi ko pa gagawing ash tray ang pagmumukha ni Sequoia. Bahagyan akong tumalikod sa kanila at sumandal na lang sa railings. Tumanaw ako sa malayo at inisip kung gaano na ako napipikon sa setup namin ni Hannah.
"Problema ba?" tanong ni Kai na medyo pikon na.
"Can't you read the atmosphere, fucker?" Xyz said. "Hannah is off-limit."
"Bakit?" tangang tanong pa ni Kai.
"She's Selene's best friend and soon sister-in-law. Gaguhin mo 'yon, para ka na ring nag-hamon sa mga Amante. Para kang babangga ng pader, gago. Kaya sa iba ka na lang magpapansin."
"OA n'yo. Para pinupuri lang," iritang sagot ni Kai.
"Gago! Minamanyak mo sa utak mo, 'di mo lang pinupuri," Kill spat out. "Basta 'yong iba na lang. H'wag si Hannah kasi mapapatay ka na sa susunod."
"Okay. 'Yong si Ciara na lang. Si Hannah sana pinakamaganda saka sexy sa kanilang apat, pero ayos na din 'yong si Ciara. Mukhang makikipaglandian naman."
"Hoy, Sequoia, pamilya ng mga doctor 'yan. H'wag mo'ng gaguhin masyado. Kayang-kaya ka nilang buhayin na nakalabas mga lamang-loob mo," babala ni Xyz.
"Bakit 'di si Stella? S'ya ang flirty sa kanila," suhestyon ni Quilla.
"Model 'yon e. Madami na sigurong naka-sex 'yon. Ayoko."
"At talagang sex ang habol mo?" tanong ni Xyz.
"What else?" Kai chuckled.
Iniwan ko na sila dahil ayokong makarinig ng mga kagaguhan ni Kai. I am not a good person, and I got myself involved with sexual pleasure with women but I'm not as worse as the fucker.
I went to my room to shower. I took my time in the shower. I can't help but to palm myself as I recall Hannah's goddamn body. It's the first time I saw that much of her skin. And she's not even trying to look hot and sexy. She dressed appropriately. It's just that I am damn enticed with her innocent face. She's not doing anything to look sexy, and that's a damn seduction to me.

"Hannah," I called her.
"Nakaalis na sila," she started without taking her eyes off from her phone. "Sa'yo na lang daw ako sumabay kasi 'di na ako kasya sa sasakyan ni Stella dahil nagkarga sila ng supplies sa backseat. Si Ciara doon sa kay Kai sumabay, kaso 'di na ko nakasabay sa kanina kasi two-seater lang daw. Kay Rile sana kaso bigla naman akong iniwan at sinabi na hintayin daw kita para mapilitan kang suma-," natigilan si Hannah nang sa wakas ay tignan na n'ya ang gawi ko.
I saw how she dropped her jaw while staring at my naked torso. Mabilis na nabuhay ang kulay sa mga pisngi n'ya. She's blushing but she's not taking her eyes off my body.
"Please, baby... don't look at me like that," I managed to say then I turned to my closet. Nararamdaman ko kasi na nabubuhay na naman ang alaga ko.
"S-S-Sorry," Hannah murmured.
Hindi ko napigilan na tignan ang gawi n'ya. At napamura na lang ako nang makita na nakatitig pa rin s'ya sa akin, sa katawan ko.
"Hannah, baby... stop looking at me or else I might do something we'll both regret righty after." I warned her. That should be just an empty threat, but I can't be sure.
I was mesmerized when Hannah parted her lips. I watched her eyes as they slowly traveled from my stomach to my chest, until my face.
"Fuck!"
As if something has gotten into me, I took huge steps until I am in front of her. Hannah gasped as she looked on my hard on.
"I warned you..." I breathed. I placed my hand on her jaw then I caressed her cheek with my thumb. I caught my breath when she slightly leaned her head on my touch.
"Were you jealous with Kai?" she tried to sound brave but I can hear the slight shook in her voice.
Hindi ako sumagot at pinili na pagmasdan ang kagandahan n'ya.
"I am in love with you, Carrack," Hannah said then she slightly bowed her head as if she's embarrassed with the confession. "S-So... you d-don't have to be jealous. Because all I see is you."
Damn! Fuck! You shouldn't be confessing right now.
"Damn, baby," I breathed before I cupped her head then crashed my lips on her.
Hell breaks loose. I was never a saint, and I don't really have great self-control.
