Your POV
It all hit me at once, I'm alone, in the maze, for who knows how much longer,
The vines were ripped down by the first griever, so I don't have a safe way down,
I don't have time to sit here out in the open, another griever could come my way or the same one could come back,
I don't think I can make the jump back,
"think y/n, just think, do something."
I look down over the edge, thats easily a twenty foot drop,
A loud screech is heard right behind me, I cover my ears and turn around quickly,
Just my luck, another griever, it takes a few steps closer,
I back up slowly, one step at a time,
I take one to many steps and...

I grab onto the ledge just before I fall, The griever towers over me,
I look down past my legs dangling and do the only thing I can do, I let go.
I hit the ground with a hard thud,
I get up as fast as I can,
I'm hurt but considering my state I'm lucky to get up with just a sprained or possibly fractured ankle,
It causes me to limp, I still try my best to run as the griever jumps down and begins the chase,
I grunt in pain as I hop along as fast as I could,
I make a left turn and I see another path but it's quickly closing,
I take off in that direction, the griever gaining on me,
Just before I reach the doors I stop,
"Come on! COME AND GET ME!"
Moments before the griever reaches me I run between the closing doors, it struggles to fit as the doors close smaller and smaller until finally I reach the other side and run straight into the wall,
The griever is crushed, a leg twitches and I move to the side, I really hope the doors open sometime soon.

*thomas and Minho's POV in the maze
As Thomas reaches the end of the corner with the griever following him, he runs straight into Minho,
"You're one crazy son of a bitch, COME ON."
They take off running,
"It's changing, it's changing, come on, come on, come on." Minho repeats frantically,
They finally reach a safe spot to calm down, the doors will open soon,
They're both breathing heavily,
"What happened?" Minho asks,
"What do you mean?" Thomas replies,
"To y/n?"
"I-I don't know, we got separated."
Minho doesn't question any further and they make their way back to the opening of the maze.

*Back at the glade (other gladers POV, with Thomas and Minho)
Frypan, newt, chuck, Winston, and many other gladers wait at the doors,
"Told you chuck they're not coming back." Newt speaks,
Everyone turns around to leave,
Chuck stays,
Zart turns around, "no way."
"YEAH!" Chuck cheers,
Thomas and Minho make it back, carrying alby, they set him down gently,
"How'd you guys make it out?" A glader asks,
"Wait, where's y/n?" Newt asks worried,
Minho and Thomas share a look,
"Newt.." Thomas starts,
"Where is she!?"
He grabs Thomas by the collar of his shirt,
"We got separated." Thomas admits,
Newt backs up and puts a hand on his face,
a single tear slides down his face,
"I'm sorry."

*Your POV
I limp along trying to find my way back out of the maze, the doors should have opened by now, they probably think I'm dead,
I can't what imagine the looks on their faces would be like when I see them again, when I see newt,
And Thomas plus Minho, I just know they made it.
I aimlessly try to find my way until I see a brighter section, it looks like it could be the opening,
I turn the corner and there they are,
I make my way down to the entrance,
I nearly trip after putting to much weight on my ankle, I quickly picked myself back up,
I caught the attention of a few of the gladers, one by one they turned to notice me,
"Holy shit."
"y/n?" I hear a faint voice,
It's Newt, he looks like he's about to cry,
I walk up to him and immediately throw my arms around him,
He lets out a few tears of joy,
"Did you miss me?" I smile,
He only holds me closer,
"I thought you weren't coming back."
"I couldn't leave without saying goodbye."
He finally lets go,
Thomas and I make eye contact,
"y/n, I'm so sorry for leaving you." Thomas speaks,
I walk up to him and give him a hug,
"there was nothing you could do." I give him a soft smile,
I pull away and I see Minho,
"come here you stupid shank."
He doesn't hesitate to give me a bear hug,
"What happened to your foot?" He asks,
"I think I sprained it but I'll be ok."
Chuck speaks up, "did you see a griever?!"
"Yup."
