The three kids were excited for the first term of Hogwarts to begin, which of course, made the two months they had to wait pass by slowly.

During this time, the twins went through all of their school supplies, the only thing they could do.

Lily and Rose also compared wands, to see if twins did get the same wand. Lily's was willow, swishy, 10 1/4, and had a Phoenix feather core, just like Rose. It was even from the same Phoenix.

Although Rose didn't like homework and reading for school, this was different. These were books on spells and potions. So to pass the time, she would take her books with her to meet Sev by the river.

She also read through Hogwarts: A History and Quidditch Through The Ages and she was so excited. Rose actually might want to play quidditch.

After she had read through them Lily was next, becoming more excited about their upcoming trip.

Petunia took to becoming further detached, calling anything to do with the new world they belonged to freaky. She would tease and say rude things to the twins any chance she got.

But when Rose's owl went missing and came back with a letter for Petunia, she became more confused. But the girl snatched it away and left to her room.

Severus was coming by their house that day, so they could make sure they had everything ready for their school trip. That was when he saw the letter.

It had been left in the bathroom on the counter. He brought it out to the twins and they read it.

The letter was from Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts. He had politely informed Petunia that she could not study at Hogwarts with Lily and Rose, it was for witches and Wizards only. But he was sure that wherever she chose to study would be a perfect fit.

This made the girls sad, that their sister wanted to form with them. But when she realized they had seen the letter, it was too late.

Tuney screamed and screamed at the twins, telling them she hated them and their magic. They were freaks that were never supposed to be invented. She hoped they had no friends.

This devastated Lily and Rose. Their own sister hated them because of what they were. The three didn't speak much the rest of summer.

But after a whole two months of waiting, the time finally came for them to go to Hogwarts.

Anne and William Evans forced Petunia to go to the train station with them, after all, she wouldn't be able to see her sisters until Christmas, not that she was complaining.

When they arrived at the Kings Cross station, they walked to platform 9, as they were told they'd need platform 9 3/4. The family approached 9 but so nothing else further down, only 10.

They didn't want to ask an attendant because they knew he would think they were crazy. People were already giving them weird stares, one of their daughters had a bloody owl on her cart.

Just as the parents thought this whole thing had been a ruse, McGonagall appeared. She had come through the pillar...

The family looked at her, shocked. That would be happening a lot.

The Professor smiled when she saw the Evans family and made her way over to them.

"Hello, everyone! I trust you've all got what you need for school?" The witch asked, the twins nodded yes.

"Perfect! This next part is where it gets a little tricky, so stay with me. I want you to take your carts and run straight at the pillar. No stopping. You'll go right through it, I promise. Rose, you first," Minerva called. Rose looked at her disbelievingly. No matter, McGonagall pulled Rose forward anyway.

"Alright, on the count of three-" She started but Rose knew if she waited she wouldn't want to do it. Before the witch started counting Rose ran straight for the wall.

She shut her eyes tight, waiting for impact, but it never came.

Suddenly her ears were filled with new noises. Laughter, tears, chatting, a steam engine train. Rose opened her eyes as she moved forward, taking a look around her.

There were hundreds of people scattered about the train platform. Some of them were Rose's age, some older, and some obviously parents.

Behind her, Lily and the rest of the family came through, all being amazed at what lied before them.

Professor McGonagall smiled, enjoying the look muggle families have every time they see the train.

"Now is the time to say your goodbyes and give your trunks to the train operators. You'll keep your smaller suitcase and animals with you, as you'll be instructed to change into your robes before arriving. You can find a compartment on the train after that and you'll be set!" Minerva tells the family, walking back through the pillar.

Lily and Rose handed off their trunks to the attendants and walked back over to their family.

The twins look back at their parents, who were excited for their girls but also on the verge of crying, having to send them away for months on end.

They all hugged as a few tears were shed. "You two be good, alright? I don't want any detention letters... and good grades, too!" Their mother said, wiping away the wet streak on her face.

"Yeah and make good friends. We look forward to seeing you two at Christmas!" Said their father, walking backwards.

Lily and Rose looked to Petunia, who was turned with her arms crossed.

"We'll leave you three to say goodbye. Petunia, honey, we'll be just over here," said Mrs. Evans, stepping back with her husband.

"Tuney... we'll miss you," Rose said to her sister, trying to get a hug. Petunia stepped back.

"I don't want your hands on me! You two are complete freaks that don't belong in the normal world. I'm glad you're going, so I don't have to be around you! I hope they keep you there!" Petunia ranted angrily, walking back through the barrier without so much as a goodbye.

Lily and Rose looked at her, shocked. Their parents looked at each other before giving the girls another hug and running after their daughter.

The two boarded the train with their animals. Rose was trying hard to keep from crying at her sister's admission of hate.

They looked through a ton of compartments, all with either older students waiting for a friend, or holding more than enough students.

Finally, Lily pulled her sister's arm as she spotted an empty compartment.

Rose sat down across from Lily as they put their things down. Then they both started crying.

Feeling bad for her sister, Rose moved over to sit beside Lily, putting an arm around the girl for comfort as they cried together. Rose's hair turned a dark shade of blue because of Petunia's words.

Suddenly, the compartment door opened and Rose looked up, spotting a young boy. He had messy, short, brown hair. His eyes were a deep shade of blue and he wore glasses. His smile faded as he saw the young girls.

"Oh, sorry. Uh... do you mind if my friend and I sit in here? He might bring some more of his friends with him," the boy asked.

"No, it's fine," Lily responded kindly, smiling at the boy.

"Great, thanks! Let me just wave him down..." the boy said, waving out the window.

"Great, he's just putting his things down. I'm James Potters, by the way," the boy said, looking toward the two girls, one still with blue hair.

"I'm Lily Evans," said the ginger, looking back at the window.

"I'm Rose Evans," said the blue-haired girl, whispering something into her sister's ear.

Another boy suddenly appeared in the doorway. This boy had long black hair, longer than usually any boy wore their hair. His eyes were an enchanting shade of grey. He smiled devilishly at the two girls.

"Ladies, this is Sirius Black!" James introduced.

"At your service," the boy said, bowing.

"Sirius, this is Rose and Lily Evans," James introduced the two girls in the corner.

Being nice, Rose shook his hand. But instead of the boy shaking it, he kissed it. She recoiled the hand. "Gross," she muttered quietly, moving her head away.

"Ooh," James winced, laughing at his friend's rejection.

The boys looked at each other while Rose focused on turning her hair back ginger. James and Sirius looked back at them and had to do a double-take.

"Wasn't... your hair just blue?" Sirius asked, confused.

"Metamorphmagus," Rose replied simply, leaving it at that.

Severus appeared outside the compartment and opened the door. With one look at the girls inside, he stepped in without a word. He sat across from them.

"We don't want to talk to you," Lily said, her voice constricted.

"What? Why?" Sev asked.

"T-tuney hates us! She still hasn't gotten over the letter from Dumbledore," Rose explained, wiping a fresh tear away.

"But this is it! Come on, we're going to Hogwarts, as we talked about since we were young!" Snape said excitedly. The girls nodded weakly. "Besides, you two have bigger things to worry about. You better be Slytherin."

James gasped from the end of the bench. "Slytherin?" He said in a disgusted voice. "I think I'd just leave, wouldn't you?" He asked Sirius, to which the boy nodded.

"Although, my entire family have been Slytherin," Black added, pursing his lips.

"Bloody hell, and I thought you were alright!" James exclaimed jokingly.

"Hoping to break the tradition," Sirius replied, his face breaking into a smile. "Anyway, if not Slytherin, then where do you want to go?" He asked his friend.

"Gryffindor like mom and dad of course! Where dwell the brave of heart and strong of will!" James said, smiling.

Severus snorted and the two boys looked at him. "Got a problem with that, have you?" James asked the boy sarcastically.

"No," Sev said as he shook his head. "If you'd rather be brawny than brainy-"

Sirius cut in, "Where are you planning to go, seeing as you're neither?"

Rose's hair turned a bright shade of red as she stood, grabbing her things. "Come on Severus, Lily," she called.

"Ooooooh," the boys teased, making fun of Rose's light voice. Lily grabbed her things as well.

"See ya, Snivellus!" Sirius called after them.

On the way out of the compartment, Rose purposely hit Sirius with her carry-on.

The three friends found a new compartment further down, sitting down inside and pulling the shade.

"Ugh, they're so immature," Lily said, setting her cat, Milo's, carrier down.

"That's what all Gryffindors are like," Severus said, rolling his eyes.

"Hey! I mean... what if we are Gryffindors?" Rose asked him worriedly.

"Then I'll respect you two and you two only," Snape said, making the girls laugh.

They continued their conversation as the train began moving.

Before they got very far, Severus stood and took his robes from his bag. He was eager to replace his mismatched and ragged clothes.

Lily and Rose decided to do the same thing, preparing to arrive at their exciting destination.
