We finally get out into the parking lot and my dad is still on the phone. I put in my headphones as we walk to the car and keep them in the whole ride.
Stacey tries to keep conversation with me "How are your grades Tanna " "How was Montana " "Any Boyfriends". I ignore every single one of her questions and turn my music up louder. Stacey is the youngest woman my father has ever been with. We arrive at my dad's house. I groan at the thought of starting over. usually I come to visit my dad every summer but this time I'm here to stay. "Okay Tanna , your room is the same , but there's a little surprise!" My dad exclaims. I look at the look on his face. He looks so happy that I'm here. I feel bad for not cooperating with him. So I bring my stuff to my room and find the biggest smile draped across my face. it was a new laptop , a new TV , A desk , and the thing that made me the happiest of all : A pair of Car Keys. I shriek with so much excitement in my voice. "Thank you so much daddy" I say
"you're welcome Billy jean " he grins.
"Well Tanna , I guess you should get all settled in " Stacey says
"Yeah baby doll , unpack your stuff then get dressed were going to buone tagliatelle tonight so come downstairs when you're done " my dad exclaimed then quickly left my room. As soon as they left my room I plopped down on my bed , soon after I drifted into sleep.
