ONE WEEK LATER -
Tom still refused to even look at you.
You and Nick have been hanging out in the room
of requirements lately.
It was around 7:30 pm, you went to the room of requirements to see what Nick was doing.
You opened the door quietly and walked towards him.
He was kneeled down and working on something.
"You look busy." You say.
"Because I am." Nicholas replied.
"How are you doing?" You asked.
"Well, I'm pretty sure my brother hates me." Nicholas said, standing up to face you.
"Your bruises have healed a bit." You say, as your thumb brushed his cheek bone.
"Nick let's just take the truth potion and Tom can ask us if we slept together, and we didn't and it'll prove it to him." You explain.
"I don't think the truth isn't going to last much longer if you keep touching me like that." Nicholas muttered.
Your eyes widened and you took your hand off his cheek, playfully punching him in the shoulder.
"Okay just make this truth potion with me." You say.
AFTER MAKING THE POTION -
You and Nicholas went to Tom's room, he was studying on his desk.
"Tom, me and Nick are going to take this truth potion and you can ask us anything." You speak.
"Get out." Tom says.
"Tom, let me prove it to you, please." You ask.
He sighed.
Tom put his pencil down and stood up.
"Drink it then." Tom replied coldly.
You drank it first.
Nick waved his hand in front of your face.
"Ask." Nick says.
"Did you sleep with my brother?" Tom asked.
"No."
"Did you kiss him?"
"No."
"What did you do the night you were with him?"
"Laughed, got high, passed out."
The potion wore off.
"Did it work?" You asked, putting your hand to your head, feeling a bit dizzy.
Nicholas grabbed your arm, keeping your balance.
You saw Tom's expression relax.
"Apologize to Nick." You declared.
Tom glanced at Nicholas.
"Absolutely not." Tom said.
Nicholas shrugged.
You rolled your eyes.
Nick left Tom's room, leaving you and Tom alone.
Tom turned around and went back to his desk.
"So that's it?" You asked in confusion.
"Yep."
"Are you serious Tom? Me and Nick went through all that just for you to say nothing?" You say.
"Mhm."
"So you aren't going to apologize for being a dick to me or beating up your own brother?" You ask.
"I have nothing to apologize for, you were in his room all night, who wouldn't think you were sleeping with him." Tom replies.
"I'm really starting to regret even liking you Tom! You're such a dick." You yelled at him.
He didn't reply.
You shook your head and walked out of his room.
Nicholas was sitting on the leather couch.
"He's such an ass!" You say frustrated.
Nicholas looked up at you as you spoke.
You sat down next to him leaning your head on his shoulder, as you listened to the fireplace crackle.
"I feel bad, I told him I regret liking him but he didn't even show any emotion to it." You say.
"He told me he loved me not even that long ago." You add, covering your face with your hands.
Nicholas took your hands off, revealing your face.
"He'll get over it, and he'll most likely miss you so and come around." Nick spoke.
"Thanks." You mumbled.
You sat up and just looked at the fireplace, until Nicholas said something.
"I'm going outside, I'll see you tomorrow." Nicholas says.
"It's past hours Nick, you can't." You interrupt.
"You're acting like you just met me." Nick replied, walking out the door.
You went back to dorm and decided to go to sleep early.
THE NEXT MORNING -
You woke up early and woke up Eleanor.
"Eleanor do you want to prank my friend Nicholas?" You asked her.
"Okayyy, you know I love pranks but at 6:30 in the morning!?" Eleanor said.
"Is that a yes?" You question.
"Fine."
You smiled and made your bed quickly.
You and Eleanor made it to Nicholas's dorm.
"Fancy." Eleanor whispered.
You carefully placed firecrackers on the floor where he steps to get out of bed, and put tape half over the faucet so the water would spray him when turned on.
Eleanor heated his door knob so when he would touch it, it would uh slightly burn his hand.
Harmless right?
You fast forwarded Nicholas's clock so his alarm would go off in ten minutes.
