they could see them while we played and when we finished they disappear.. the crowd just starred at us
"hey, where'd the rest of the band go?" the tech guy asked as he ran on stage
"wait, were those holograms?!" questioned one of carrie's highlighters
"yes! yes, they were holograms" Julie blurted out, thank you highlighter you saved us and you don't even know it!
"I plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show, i'd explain it but it involves algorithms and science stuff" I added to make it seem more realistic and the crowd cheered 'yes they believe us, thank god!' i thought to my self
"okay people, show's over. let's get back to class please" the principal seemed pissed..
"Mrs. Harrison, I am so sorry for not asking for permission. I just wanted to show you I belong here" julie said in a rush
"as amazing as that was, your spot's already been filled by another student" she said pointing to a kid with an instrument twice his size
"come on, that thing is way too big for him!" I said disappointed they would keep him instead of jules she was so nervous to play and she got the courage to actually play
"he'll grow into it.. I wish that I could help you but my hands are tied"
"mine aren't, and as much as I didn't approve of this little stunt that you pulled.. I will not go down in history as the principal who kicked julie molina out of the music program" no way! the principals letting her back in!!
"thank you!" Julie exclaimed she was so happy
"but.. when you win your first grammy, I want to be thanked"
"definitely" we said smiling from ear to ear, Julie then gave Mrs. Harrison a hug and spoke to Flynn. while they were talking they didn't look happy.. I was just on my phone waiting for julie seeing as our classes were close, the next thing I see is Flynn running out of the gym and Julie chasing her, this isn't going to be fun, I went and ran after the two girls. going to find Flynn was impossible, the hallway was crowded and we kept getting stopped by people telling us we were good and cool. then nick came over, julie's crush on this boy is overboard honestly, but with him comes his girlfriend, carrie- julie's ex bestfriend, she's so mean it's annoying in a way. luckily Julie stood up for herself, the confidence right now is unreal i love itt
we were about to go to class but as we turned the corner 3 ghosts decide to scare us
"Molina's!" they said in unison while in a pyramid as we screamed
"you! stop doing that!" I said holding my chest from the near heart attack "i'm serious"
"whoa! this one's all on you, we were already here.. well actually we were over there and then we came over here" reggie said explaining and pointing in directions
"are we not gonna talk about what just happened?" luke said
"yeah, the whole school saw you, it's kinda freaking me out" Julie replied
"ok, good 'cause it's kinda freaking me out too. you know you could see us, and then people could see us whenever we play music and my close are made out off air but for some reason, i'm still getting a wedgie" alex ranted so fast it was hard to keep up..
"alex.. chill" I said so confused
"just so many questions" he sighed
"the important things is that we rocked that place, they were loving you!" luke was hella stoked
"are you kidding? they loved us! that was a great song, luke thanks" Julie said
"and did you guys see the cheerleaders looking at me? I think they were looking at me. please tell me they were" reggie really wanted to be noticed by them
"bro they were looking at you" luke said holding his face
"oh, I knew it!" he was so happy it made me smile
"i'm so.. i'm so confused, you know? the afterlife should come with instructions or a quick guide or something.." alex was overthinking and so anxious
"well, the good thing is that everyone thought you guys were holograms and I got back into the program" Julie said still looking sad though
"why do you look so bummed?" reggie asked
"yeah dude, your making this face" luke said pulling the guys in and started to all frown
"that... is not my face and things just got weird between me and Flynn. she asked about you guys and I couldn't say" I knew it
"sweet, girls are already talking about us" reggie and girls is an unhealthy obsession, he highed five luke
"stop, i'm serious. I can't tell her about you guys for the same reason I can't tell my dad" Julie sighed
"she'll think we've gone off the deep end" I agreed
"well this dude definitely thinks you've gone of the deep end" reggie said standing out the way for the janitor.. oh no
"we gotta get back to class" Julie said as we walked away
"tell those cheerleaders I'm single!" reggie shouted.. should I become a cheerleader, no i'm not doing that jesus
"oh and that he's dead" alex said knowing I thought reggie was cute seeing as I told him in our chat last night
"oh no no no! leave that part out, leave that.. they're gone"
time skip to at home after school
"dad!!" Julie yelled jumping on to his back making you laugh
"good you guys are home" he said and then started rambling on about the many sheets of music program schools for julie to go to
"well luckily for you, i got back in at my school"
"wait.. wait, what? You're not joking me right now?"
"we went down, put on a show with some ghosts.. getters, go-getters" i said chuckling
"and Principal Lessa let me back in" after that, dad got so excited he ended picking up julie in celebration. Me and julie made our way upstairs as dad stayed downstairs quickly say "yes!" thinking we couldn't hear him. once we got up the to the top of the stairs we went our separate ways to our bedrooms, i had quite a few assignments i needed to finish but i really couldn't get in the mood to do the so i decided to head down to the studio in hope that a change of scenery would help.
I got there and realised the guys weren't there so i guess that was a plus, no distractions. i put in my earphones, turned on some music and got to work, i never knew how hard biology would be.. reggie and luke poof but i didn't notice for a few reasons, 1 being my music was on full volume and 2 was i focusing hard, like in my own bubble hard.
"can she not see us anymore or something.. " reggie asked me still not hearing
"i don't know dude.. she looks busy tho" luke replied
"should we try get her attention?"
"how it's not like we can't tap her on the shoulder"
"right... wait i know" reggie slowly got on to the little table and then jumped off shouting in front of me finally grapping my attention
"AHHH.. jesus why would you do that!" i yelled in fright
"i just wanted to get your attention.. you were sitting there with a concentrated look on your face, like cutel- i meant quietly focusing" his face flashed light pink
"mhm, next just get my attention normally like saying my name.. so where have you guys been?"
"we were just exploring, what are you focusing on?" luke said breaking the awkwardness from the room
"school and i need to get this done so please don't distract me, i'm saying that in the nicest way possible"
"we won't but seeing as your in here can we play??" luke gave me this look like he really wanted to play
"yeah, we'll be quiet like volume 1 quiet" reggie begged
"fine, volume 1" i said as the boys jumped in excitement going to grab their guitars.
a/n: sorry i haven't added in a while, i have been so busy with school and i'm going back soon i've had to catch up on some work i haven't done and things like that, i hope you guys enjoy this part and i'll try and get some more parts out over time <3
