Selena was eating her breakfast until Jenna entered causing her to smile "Morning, Auntie J" She greeted
"Morning, Leenie" Jenna kissed her forehead "How are you feeling?"
"Good" she smiled warmly as Selena's phone rang causing her to lift her phone quickly from the table looking who was it
"It's uh just Caroline"
"Were you waiting for someone else?" Jenna teased and Selena chuckled
"You wish" she said "So I want to ask you something"
"Shoot"
"About my birth parents" Selena muttered hesitantly "What happened? Are they dead?"
"Wow, never thought I'd have this conversation with you" Jenna said as she sat down opposite her
"I only asked because yesterday I nearly burned down the entire school it becoming a lot harder and harder for me to control these power since the sacrifice day... I want to know what am I? Who am I?" Selena asked rhetorically "I mean I deserve to know"
"All I know that your mother gave you to Miranda and Grayson when you were only two days"
"So she didn't want me, she just looked me in the eyes and gave me up" Selena said with a sad smile
"I don't know exactly what happened or why she did it but I believed that she loved you" Jenna told her with an encouraging voice
"Then why she gave me up?" Selena asked with a cracked voice "It's not like I'm not grateful to have all of you... I am and I love you all. I do"
"I know" Jenna smiled at her "Your parents loved you just like Jeremy and Elena"
"I know" She said with a small smile "I have to go, I'm gonna be late for school"
"Yeah good luck"

"Here we go senior year" Selena, Caroline, Bonnie and Elena stood in front of Mystic high
"Anyone else think it should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asked with furrowed eyebrows as they all stared at the school
"Okay so prank night was a bust" Caroline said and wrapped her arm around her bestfriend
"Yeah thanks to my soulmate but we are accepting it, and we are moving on" Selena said trying to be positive
"You're right! Why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie asked rhetorically causing Selena to look at her with furrowed eyes
"Yes! And why should I let the fact that my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day" Caroline added as they walked towards the high school
"Should we forget the fact that my soulmate happens to be the big bad wolf?" Selena asked with a sarcastic smile "You go, El"
"Today's our anniversary" the doppelganger said and they all turned around to face her "Technically Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year" she finished as they all looked at her with sad expression on their faces
"Yeah you win" Caroline sighed in frustration
"How the bloody hell did she win?" Selena murmured under her breath causing Caroline to pinch her arm

"Klaus left town" Elena said and Selena nodded fixing her eyes on the locker
"I know" Selena said and Elena looked at her with a frown "I mean Duh, he's not here to torture the life out of us"
"Damon mentioned some Mikeal guy to him and he disappeared" Elena explained and Selena frowned at the name as she remembered it from the night before they came back
"Really?" Selena asked as she leaned on her locker
"Yeah, Damon said Mikeal is a vampire hunter" Elena explained as she locked her locker too
"No way you're joking" Selena muttered in disbelief "Klaus afraid of a vampire hunter? Sorry but can't believe that"
"It's Damon" the older sister said as her phone start ringing
"Hey... Oh my god I forgot about the bonfire" Selena slapped her forehead when she saw a a poster about the bonfire
"You have to go. It's our first spirit squad events and it's set the bar for the whole year..." Caroline began and Selena chuckled
"Care please just breathe of course I'm going... getting waisted at the bonfire seems to be my thing" she muttered shamelessly "Elena is going too, I'll kick her ass if she doesn't. It's our senior year, our last hurrah... that if I don't flunk out and repeat senior year, which come to think about it is sad"
"Thank you it's just that..." Tyler trailed off Caroline by kissing her
"Ew" Selena made a face "We're in a public place guys"
"Happy first day" He told them and Caroline stood frozen
"Is that blood?" Elena hissed pointing at his shirt
"Oh my god" Selena exclaimed and Caroline grabbed him by his arm dragging to the bathroom
"What's going on?" He asked in confusion
"Vampire 101. Don't wear your breakfast to school" Caroline slapped his arm and Selena slapped the back of his head
"Ever" she finished with a scowl "Have you lost your mind?"
"Wow, easy there Leenie" He joked and she shot him a glare "Chill out it was just a blood bag"
"From where?" Selena asked him
"Rebekah hooked me up"
"Rebekah" Caroline stiffened in jealousy "And why are you even talking to her?"
"Klaus told her to keep a watch on me. Protect his new asset" Tyler smirked proudly
"His what? And why are you amused by this" Caroline snapped
"I'm his first successful hybrid, Caroline. Don't you think that's the tiniest but awesome" he argued and Selena scoffed disbelief
"Yeah great" She raised her eyebrows sarcastically
"Well he cured me from a curse"
"You did not just say that" Selena snapped "Why in hell are you defending him?"
"Oh wow! I cannot believe you just say that" Caroline snapped at Tyler
"Come on" Elena grabbed Selena's arm dragging her out of the bathroom
"I'm gonna kill that bastard" Selena said referring to her soulmate "I'll find a way to kill him"
"Join the club" Elena sighed "Let's get to class"

They made it to the hallways and Elena bumped into Stefan "Hello Lennie, Elena" he greeted with a fake smile
"Stef" Selena smiled as she had no idea that he turned his humanity off
"What are you doing here?" Elena asked warily causing Selena to frown
"What do you mean? I'm going back to school. Go Timberwolves" he cheered sarcastically and Selena's eyes widened in shock
"You turned it off" she gasped "When? Why?"
"You should ask your soulmate" he said bitterly causing her to groan
"What? Why?" Elena asked
"Klaus wants me to keep an eye on you" he told the older Gilbert before looking at the younger one "You too. I'm just doing what I'm told"
"I'm quite capable of taking care of myself" Selena snapped "And tell that hybrid psycho, he can suck it up"
"Oh no Leenie" he said with a teasing smile "You don't mean that"
"We're going to be late for class" Elena said and grabbed her sister's arm
"Oh uh, class this way" he grabbed Elena's forearm
"Let go of me Stefan" the doppelganger hissed
"Elena do you think I want to be senior for the 100th time? No but if I don't have a choice in this matter neither do you" he told her
"Let her go!" Selena hissed grabbing his forearm roughly
"You're lucky you're under Klaus' protection" he removed her hand causing her to scowl
"Let her go" Alaric approached them and Stefan smiled pushing Alaric against the locker
"Stefan, stop it" Elena said when she saw people passing by
"You're not gonna want to get in my way. Okay Ric?" Stefan said as he patted the history teacher's chest
"I will see you three in history" the vampire said and walked away
"My day couldn't go any better" Selena muttered sarcastically

"You're in my seat" Stefan told one of the student causing Selena to turn around to face him with a teasing smile
"Why don't you find another one Stef" Selena sassed with a fake smile "Instead of harassing people"
"Move" he ordered sternly the guy as he rushed from his chair
"You're such a dick" She spat
"And you're an annoying bitch" he fired back and she glared at him
"I'm going to kill you" she said with a calm voice but her eyes said otherwise
"What's stopping you?" He asked tauntingly causing her to stand up from her chair angrily
"Hey you" he turned to Elena as he sat on the now empty chair
"Welcome back seniors, let's turn our brain back on. Starting with this country Original founders the native Americans" Alaric began and he looked at Selena "Take a seat, Selena"
"Sorry, Mr. Saltzman" she sat down glaring at the vampire who chuckled
"What about the Vikings" a British voice spoke up as she entered
"There's no evidence that Vikings explorers actually settled in United states" The history teacher replied as Rebekah took a seat in the front "Who are you?"
"I'm Rebekah and History is my favourite subject" The Original vampire replied with a smile and she turned and sent a small wave to the young wolf who smiled awkwardly

After school Selena and Caroline were outside starting cheerleading practice and the footballer players practiced on the other side of the field
"Has anybody seen Dana?" A girl asked them and they all shook their head causing Selena and Caroline to share a look
"She's not here... she left" Selena announced to the girls "As head of Cheer squad we-"
"We all know that you don't like Dana and you were impatiently waiting on wings to get rid of her" One of the girls said and Selena smiled fakely approaching the girl before removing a lock of her hair from her face gently
"It's not a secret, darling. I never liked Dana... and if you don't shut your mouth you will be soon following her" Selena threatened with a smile and the girl remained silent
"Anyways Care and I... will try to find someone else" Selena announced to the girls "Right, Care?"
"Sounds like you have an opening on the squad" Rebekah approached them with a small causing Selena to sigh
"What are you doing here?" Caroline hissed as she stood up facing the blonde with her arms crossed
"Hey, hey you can't just come here and infiltrate all of our lives" Rebekah ignored the Forbes vampire causing her to scoff
"I'm only interested in yours. Your popularity, your spunk and uour bestfriend" the blonde Original moved her gaze towards Tyler "Maybe even your boyfriend"
Caroline scoweled and Selena grabbed Rebekah's forearm and moved her away from her bestfriend
"Come on, Rebekah I need to talk to you please... thank you" Selena said and turned to her bestfriend "I'll be here in a sec, Care"
"What are you doing here, Rebekah?" Selena asked the blonde girl with an annoyed tone "Shouldn't you be with your brother?"
"Look, I know what I did yesterday was wrong and I'm sorry, I shouldn't have listened to my brother" Rebekah apologised with pleading eyes and Selena sighed
"It's okay... He's your brother after all" Selena said with a small smile as the blonde hugged her
"Thank you"
"But you do realise Caroline is my bestfriend?" Selena stated "If you want to be my friend again, you'd leave her and my friends alone"
Rebekah sighed "I'll try my best"
"Well you're officially in our squad" Selena told her as tge blonde squealed

Selena made her way to the Salvatore boarding house after school and opened the door causing Damon to rush towards her and hug her tightly
"I'm back" she whispered and he kissed her cheek before pulling apart
"You're back" he said "I missed you so much, they're no fun"
"I know" she laughed as they walked towards the living room "You're brother has become an annoying dick"
"Tell me about it" he sighed and she chuckled
"So what did I miss?" She asked him and he shifted uncomfortably "What is it?"
"Nothing, you didn't miss anything... just normal days in Mystic falls"
"Right" she smiled weakly "Well good news Klaus left town"
"But Barbie Klaus didn't" he retorted back causing her to sigh
"Rebekah is nice you don't know her like I do" she defended the blonde and he shot her a glare "I'm serious... anyways do you have any plans for getting Stefan's humanity back on?"
"Actually..."

"I'll lure Stefan away from the bonfire then when he's distracted..." Elena began as they all gathered in Alaric's classroom
"I'll shoot him" Alaric said and Selena nodded
"Can't Bonnie just Juju him?" Damon asked Selena shook her head
"No Bonnie is out of this one Damon" Selena denied "We don't trust that Stefan won't hurt her"
"Caroline are you covered?" The doppelganger asked the blonde
"Yes we will make sure the old Forbes jail cell is prepared and ready" Caroline said and Selena smiled at ger gratefully
"But guys we need a back up plan" Selena stated
"Don't worry, this one will work" Damon assured her and she nodded hesitantly
"Okay"
"You're forgetting a key player here, Rebekah. Wherever Stefan goes the blond ponytails tend to follow" Damon stated
"Which is why it's your job to keep her away" Elena answered
"How? She's an Original. Last I checked we're out of daggers" he said
"Use your sexy Salvatore charm" Selena told him "It works everytime"
"Sorry I'm late" Tyler entered the classroom "What's going on?"
"We need to raid your mom's vervain supply enough to keep Stefan down for a while" Elena said and he shook his head
"You can't do that to Stefan"
"Why not?" Selena asked him
"Trust me Tyler, it's in his best interest" Elena told the newbie hybrid
"But it's not in Klaus'" he said and Selena raised her eyebrows in surprise
"I beg your pardon?" She snapped as she raised her voice "Did you just defend his highness again?"
"Klaus is the bad guy Tyler" Elena stated
"Why are you acting like some freaky hybrid slave minion" Caroline snapped at her boyfriend as Selena looked immediately at Damon
"Oh No" Selena muttered
"What? Klaus made me who I am Caroline, I owe him everything" Tyler retorted back
"Oh boy" Damon stood up and walked toward them
"Okay can we cool it on the commentary please" Caroline told her bestfriend and the Salvatore vampire
"What's going on?" Elena asked them
"I'm just gonna go" Tyler said but when he was about to walk away, Damon sped over him and injected him with vervain
"What are you doing?" Caroline asked kneeling down beside her boyfriend
"He's been sired" Damon informed them
"What?" Alaric asked him
"Sired. He feels loyal to Klaus because Klaus's blood created him" he explained
"Loyal how?" Elena asked
"He'll seek acceptance from his master. It's rare, maybe not so much in hybrids" the blue eyed vampire explained
"Wow just wow" Selena muttered sarcastically
"So how do I fix him?" Caroline asked him
"Get a new boyfriend" Damon smirked causing Selena to slap his arm

Selena was drinking her almost sixth cup of beer as she winked to one of her classmates causing him to approach her with a flirtatious smile
"Hello Selena" he greeted and she ran her finger down his chest
"Let's forget about the sweet talk and get to it" she told him and he smirked looking down at her lips
He pushed her against a tree kissing her hungerly, she wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him passionately trying to forget about her supernatural drama and specifically her soulmate, he moved to her neck causing her to moan quietly
"Let's go home" he whispered breathlessly and all of sudden some flashbacks hit Selena like the plague, they were sickening as she felt sick
"Stop" she told him as she tried to yank him away with tears in her eyes "I said stop!"
"What?" He asked her in disbelief
All of sudden the boy's neck was snapped causing Selena to look up to see Stefan was smiling at her teasingly
"Why the hell did you do that?" She shouted at him as she looked at the boy with teary eyes
"Klaus told me to keep an eye on you" he shrugged and she scoweled angrily "I'm doing what I'm told"
"So he told you to kill the guy I was making out with" she said with a cracked voice causing him to chuckle
"Well don't worry I'm not gonna tell him. You're not in trouble" he teased and she pushed him away
"Fuck you!" She screamed at him and he grabbed her arm roughly as she struggled against his grip"Let me go! Stefan let me go"
"You came with me, you're leaving with me" he sternly spoke "Klaus' orders"
"I didn't come with you, asshole" she shouted at him once again as she tried to yank him away but he refused to let her go. All of sudden her eyes turned red and she threw him against the tree without any strength
"I- I need to go" she said when everyone was looking at them and Stefan looked surprised too

After a while she made her way towards the Salvatore boarding house, she stormed in angrily causing Damon to sigh in frustration "Let me guess my brother did something"
"Please tell me you have him locked up and tortured" she hissed and he frowned in confusion
"What did he do?" Damon asked her "What happened?"
"I was making out with a guy from our school, I guess and then he snapped his neck out of nowhere claiming that Klaus told him to keep an eye on me. What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean?" She explained furiously causing Damon to chuckle
"You just made my day" he said and she glared at him harshly "Why were you making out with a guy?"
"Distraction" she said after few seconds of silence "I know it sounds wrong but still"
"Distraction" he repeated before approaching her as their face were so close "I can be your distraction"
She smiled before he leaned down capturing her lips, he pushed her against the wall as he kissed her neck. Selena could swear that she saw Klaus' face in front of her but she closed her eyes pushing the picture of him on the back of her mind
"This means nothing" she told him and he nodded before speeding them to his bedroom
