nini's your average 18 year old girl. her main hobby is dance. she also sings on the side. (she's actually really good despite what she thinks of herself).
today was a regular day. it was raining outside her salt lake city bedroom. she was sitting in her room writing a song, in her favorite grey hoodie. with the hood over her head. she named the song "miss this", it's seemed fitting.
it was very peaceful and quiet. that was until her friends came barging into her room like the place was on fire.
"oh my gosh" nini said startled, putting her hand on her chest "you guys scared the living daylights out of me
"yeah, yeah, whatever" carlos waved off doing a movement with his right arm
"do you remember that surprise we told you about the other day?" howie asked
"yes! can you finally tell me?!" she said with puppy dog eyes and excitement present in her voice
"that's why we came here, are you ready?" seb asked excitedly
"yes! now hurry up" she said as her eyes sparkled a bit
"we're going to a music festival..IN CALIFORNIA"
kourtney practically screamed
"what?!" nini screamed at the top of her lungs
"we're going to california for a week long music festival!" seb said happily
"oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I LOVE YOU GUYS" she shot up from her bed and tackled them all in a hug
"when do we leave?" she asked curiously
"....tomorrow?" kourtney said with a nervous laugh at the end
"and you people are telling me this now?!" she asked in shock
"it was a surprise" carlos said nonchalantly
"well i now i have less then 24 a hours to pack, you guys have to think this through more next time"
they laughed as she pointed her finger towards them.
"eeeeep! imma go pack, y'all can stay or leave i don't really care at this point. i'm to HAPPY" nini said walking to her closet doing a weird happy dance.
she packed all day since they'd be gone for 2 glorious weeks. then she went to bed with a bright smile on her face.

"rickyyyyy, wake upppp" gina bounced up and down on ricky's bed
"mhm" he said still half asleep holding onto his pillow a little tighter
"yo! bowen, wake up" ej said hitting him with a pillow
"dude, shut up, i stayed up all night let me sleep" ricky mumbled
"what we're you doing that took all night, exactly?" ashlyn asked curiously
"i was re-reading 'the fault in our stars'" he pushed himself deeper into his pillow to try and fall asleep again
"nerd" red said laughing
ricky shot up from the bed sitting up.
he scoffed, "'the fault in our stars' is masterpiece so shut your pie hole dude"
"oh shut up, we have something to tell you"
"go ahead" he said as he laid back down
"we're going to a week long music festival!" gina said excited
"that's awesome" he said with a lazy smile
"one thing...it's kinda in la" ej said in a quieter tone
"la as in california la?" ricky asked with his brow raised
they nodded in response.
"im good" he said going back to sleep, finally
out of no where his dad came in the room throwing a filled duffel bag on him
"nope, you're going" he said in a stern tone
he got up and walked over to his father
"but dad california is so far from utah and-"
"oh my gosh, ricky!" his father took hold of his shoulders
"listen to me please, you need to go out, do things with your friends, not sleep all day and stay up all night reading novels" he shook his son while saying each word
ricky knew he was right but he wasn't going to admit that he was a secret bookworm/hopeless romantic
"now i know you love basketball and you know i support you fully on that but lately you haven't even been doing that" his dad huffed
"your dad is right rick, you need to get out of this rut that your in" ej told him
"ugh, fine" he said messing with his hair "i'll go to la" he said rubbing his eyes
"now let me sleeeeep" he threw himself on his bed again
"fine, but we'll pack for you while your doing that." red said walking to his friends closet
"we're there for two weeks just so ya know..." ashlyn said in aloe tone so he couldn't here because they all knew he would back out
"also, we leave tomorrow so be ready!" gina told him in a happy tone
"yeah, yeah, whatever" he mumbled, and with that he fell into a deep sleep. and didn't wake up until the following morning despite the fact that it was 4 p.m.
