"Is that Armin?" Aya questioned eyes wide as she looked at Eren on his knee's as the boy cried while a burnt body laid next to him and bertolth with no arm and legs on the other. Aya gasped as she covered her mouth.
"He knew this would happen" Eren spoke while Aya only sniffled "He's the bravest of us all" He spoke again as she looked towards the floor. Aya grew closer but stopped once she heard the crumbled of a building.
"A titan?" Aya questioned squinting her eyes in confusion before the spoke disappeared revealing the the titan with barrel on their back and a another man with blonde shaggy hair. Aya gasped
"Eren get behind me!" Aya shouted as she raised her sword, Eren nodded as he grabbed bertolth holding the sword against his neck while the other two titan shifter grew closer to them.
"Just try and get closer!" Aya shouted glaring towards them as they stood in front of them, Aya glared a she met piercing green eyes of the blonde shaggy haired man.
"I found you" the man spoke causing Aya to gasp recognising the voice as she slightly lowered her sword, Eren looked towards her
"Y-Your that voice" Aya stuttered eyes wide as the man also wore wide as he looked at her, Eren glared towards him while Aya whole body shook.
"You did hear me then Aya?" The man questioned while both Eren and Aya gasped looking at him, shocked that he knows her name "And your Eren Yeager right?" He questioned
"You don't look a thing like your father" the man spoke again causing Eren to gasp while Aya eyes turned towards the teenager who held the blade up to bertolth throat.
"What?" Eren questioned while Aya turned back towards the man who eyes softened as he looked at the two.
"I understand, all three of us are victims of your father" The man spoke while Aya eyes grew wide at hearing the word 'three' as she looked back to see Eren eyes widen "He brainwashed you both" the man spoke while Aya whole body shook.
"W-Who are you?" Aya questioned looking towards the man with fear and shock while the man only looked towards the blonde, his eyes softening as he looked at her.
"Aya. I'm your br-" the man stopped once he looked up to see a man stood on the wall, steam emitting from him. Aya followed as her eyes widened
"Levi!" Aya screamed as the man flew through the air towards them, Zeke glared as he watched the worried expression light up on Aya face as she continued to look at the man.
"Let's call it a draw Levi" The blonde man spoke shocking as she looked back at him "Bertolth I'm sorry but this is the end for you" he finished before the titan turned away.
"Wait!" Aya shouted reaching her hand out but she stopped once he turned back to look at her with a soft expression
"Aya. Eren. Someday I will save you from this hell" The blonde man spoke while Aya gasped as the titan jumped from the building,
"Levi!" Aya yelped as she rushed towards him concern written on her face while Levi looked towards her, he signed in relief as he looked at her before he looked back
"Quickly give me your gas" Levi spoke towards either of the two as they both began to fiddle with their Odm gear though Eren soon gasped, causing both adults to look at him. Aya eyes grew wide as she looked at the Body behind him breath.
"Hell yeah! Yeah!" Eren shouted as Aya eyes widen though she soon turned her gaze to the raven hair teenager that had landed beside them "He's still breathing!" Eren screamed again.
"That's Armin?" Mikasa questioned with tears in her eyes while Aya looked towards her and nodded sadly as she sat on the floor.
"Captain! Quickly the syringe!" Eren shouted while Aya gasped loudly looking towards Levi who still has blood on his face, as the man went into his pocket "Inject Armin and have him eat Bertolth! Quickly" Eren continued to shout, Aya looked to see the hesitance in his eyes
"Levi" Aya spoke quietly as she placed her hand on his arm while the raven hair stiffen snapping his head to look at the blonde hair women in shock.
"Right" Levi spoke while he held the injection, Aya only continued to look at him while Mikasa shot a red flare signal into the air.
Aya watches with concerned expression as Levi slowly began to hand the injection towards Eren though once they all heard the thud of something, they all gasped loudly as Aya turned to see Floch climbing the building with Erwin strapped to his back.
"C-Captain I've been looking for you, Erwin is badly injured and he won't stop bleeding. I thought the injection could help" Floch states as Aya eyes grew wide at the scenario and she looked towards the raven haired man who's eyes were also wide.
"L-Levi?" Aya questioned as the man soon brought the injection to his chest causing the two teens to gasp loudly. Aya soon turned back towards Floch and the commander.
"He's wounds are severe, his stomach as be gauged out but he's breathing" Aya spoke as she inspected the blonde commander who laid on the roof, Levi looked towards the scene while Aya raised her head and looked at him "The only thing that could possible save him now is the injection" She spoke with a frown as she looked towards the floor.
"The shot will go to Erwin" Levi spoke as he stood up, Aya gasped as she watched Eren stand beside him, eyes wide with tears as he stopped Levi.
"You can't" Eren stated with a shaking voice, Aya frowned a she watched tears flow down his eyes "You said you would use it on Armin" the teen boy continued
"I'm going to revive the person who can save humanity" Levi glared towards the boy, blood still consuming his face while Aya eyes widened a she watched Mikasa unleash her blade
"Mikasa" Aya spoke as she sat beside Erwin as she held onto his bleeding stomach, tear appeared in the blonde eyes as she looked at the scene unfolding in front of he.
"Levi?" Aya questioned as she looked at him with tears in her eyes as she held Erwin and Levi coming towards him with the cure Aya's eyes widen as eren stood in-front of Levi stopping him
"Do you have the faintest idea of what your doing. This is Erwin. Commander of the scouts" Levi said as he gritted his teeth glaring at eren "you want me to watch him die?!" Levi shouted in his face. Eren and mikasa held tears in their eyes as eren just looked at Levi
"L-Levi there not much time left" Aya muttered as Levi looked towards her and tried to move till eren held the injection tighter "E-eren" Aya muttered as she stood up and walked towards them tears in her eyes
"Get your emotions in check" Levi said with hatred in his voice
"I'm sorry but I can't" eren said as he gritted his teeth " why didn't you give armin the injection straight away" he finished as he glared at the captain
"Eren. You know why there could be a number of people who are on a brink of death and we can't just give it to armin straight away!" Aya shouted towards him "I know he's your friend but this is Erwin! Commander" she finished
"None of us could of know flock was going to carry him here" eren finished as he screamed tears streamed down his cheeks
"Your not wrong eren but he is here now and we can save him" Levi finished as he soon punched eren in the face. Aya's eyes widened as she soon saw mikasa rushing for Levi
"No!" She shouted tackling mikasa to the floor and them rolling down the roof and suddenly mikasa held a sword to Aya neck
"Aya!" Levi shouted and looked at the situation shocked
'I could just threaten to kill Aya because Levi is to weak to fight back and we know he would trade it for aya' mikasa thought as she glared at Levi
"Mikasa think! You know as well as I do Erwin is the one that lead us to Victory and without him we're lost" Aya said to mikasa as she looked towards her in sympathy
"Ah!" Aya muttered in pain as the sword went tighter on her neck
"Come on mikasa don't do anything crazy" flock said as his eyes widened at the situation they were in
"Let her go!" Levi shouted
"N-no it's the same with armin" Eren muttered as they all turned towards him "he's just as important" he finished
"Eren!" Mikasa stated as aya continued to struggle
"Think about it.... think about it all, we used his plan to get back trost with that boulder, he was the one who realised what Annie was, it was his idea to avoid the Titans by coming here at night, he was the only reason we discovered reiners hiding spot and the only reason we defeated bertolth! We only got this far because of armin!" Eren shouted as tears streamed down his face "I can't save humanity and neither can the commander! But armin can!" He finished screaming as Aya eyes grew wide looking at Eren
"Mikasa" Aya mumbled as mikasa looked down at the women and gritted her teeth before turning to Levi
"Please captain just give me the syringe!" Mikasa shouted
"Your just been selfish, Erwin is our leader" flock stated calmly
"Shut up!" Mikasa shouted
"What? Why the hell should I?!" Flock shouted
"Flock" Aya mumbled looking at him as the sword continued to get deeper Aya handing only stopping it
"Do you think your the only ones that have suffered!" Flock shouted as many eyes grew wide "not that you asked but on the other side of that wall there isn't a single soldier left alive" flock stated sternly as Aya only closed her eyes in mourning "that field is soaked with the blood of my comrades, commander Erwin was the only survive I could find. He came up with a plan, found a way for us to strike back at the beast Titan and so we did. They were all smashed to bits. The last thing they felt was fear!" Flock finished as Aya shivered at the thought
"We have all lost someone" Aya stated as their eyes went to them "I lost my brother" she simple stated as Levi stiffened and Mikasa eyes grew wide "I couldn't do anything to save him, but I promised myself that I would keep fighting not just to stay alive but to fight for freedom! So one day we can all be free for them! For them solider for my brother and for armin! We all need to Carry on and be free" Aya stated as she stopped suddenly as she remembered Armins plans and then the commander.
"and for that to happen we have to come up with the correct choice" Aya stayed firmly as Levi and flocks eyes grew wider "which one will keep us going which one we lead us to freedom" Aya finished as Mikasa shifted her eyes going slightly wide
"Aya" flock mumbled "it has to be Erwin we need a devil to win the titans! We need Erwin to defeat the Titan that why I Can't let you do it!" Flock shouted hurdling towards the two women as Levi and Aya eyes wide as Mikasa was about to kill him
"Stop!" Levi shouted
"No!" Aya shouted trying to stop her All of a sudden Mikasa was pulled back by none other then Hanji
"Hanji" Aya mumbled sitting up shocked to see jean and Connie holding Sasha "Sasha" Aya mumbled looking forwards her in concern
"No.. don't tell me" jean mumbled
"It can't be" Connie mumbled as Aya looked forward to Hanji to see her eye wide
"No it's isn't fair" Hanji mumbled as Aya only looked down In remorse as Levi opened the box and Mikasa eyes grew wide
"Ahhhh!" Mikasa screamed as Aya only looked away trying to block out the noise of Hanji calming Mikasa down.
"There's people I want to bring back to, hundreds in fact" Hanji stated as Aya looked towards her seeing the pain in hanji's eyes "ever since I joined the scouts, everyday brought a new farewell.... but you need to understand eventually you will have to let go of eveyone you have ever met" she said as Aya tighten her fist in frustration "we all have to push forward and move on" Hanji finished as Mikasa weeped, calming down
Aya couldn't bear to look as Levi made his way towards Erwin but suddenly stopped by Eren gripping his leg
"Captain.. do you know about the sea" Eren mumbled as Aya eyes grew wide turning towards Levi and seeing him stiffen "It's like a lake but massive, so big that it stretches beyond the harizen full of.." Eren trailed off
"Salty water" Aya finished him as erens eyes turned to Aya as she grimmed a tiny smile towards him
"Stop making this harder!" Flock shouted as he grabbed Eren, Levi only looking towards Eren as his eyes soon farted towards Aya who looked downwards
"It's been our dream since we were kids! Armin cares more then about fighting!" Eren shouted
"Levi" Aya mumbled as he suddenly stood up
"Everyone get out!" He yelled "I don't want Erwin eaten one of you instead!" He continued
As eveyone began to scatter away
"Jean" Aya mumbled as the said male looked toward her "can you help me, I've broken my leg when bertolth attacked me" she said as she leaned against the chimney to stand up
"Yes" Jean replied walking towards her and helping her walk, as the walked past Aya grabbed Levi's hand
"Erwin chose you for a reason, he knows that your smart and can make the right decision, not for you but for humanity" Aya stated as she held Levi hand tighter him returning it as he tighten the grip
"Look after her jean while I get this done" Levi stated as Jean looked back towards armin one last time and carried Aya away on the odm gear
"Levi! Farlan! Isabel! Look what I found!" Aya said as she ran into their old house, her old dress tattered while the people she had shouted turned to look at her.
"What?" Levi muttered looking towards the girl, a glare in his eyes though the blonde simple ignored him and smiled.
"Look what I bought!" Aya shouted causing the red haired young girl Isabel to grow closer while Aya opened the book
"What is it?" Isabel looked towards the table after Aya had placed the book on it, Farlan also looked closer.
"A book silly!" Aya laughed as her smiled grew wide while she flipped through the pages and landed on a specific one.
"About what?" Farlan questioned standing beside his sister while Levi only continued to lean against the old brick wall
"The outside world! There are loads of things like tree, plant even horses! It look amazing, but listen to this there is this thing a massive pool of water but it's not just water it's salt water!" Aya shouted eyes wide as she looked towards them all.
"Salt water?" Isabel questioned interest filling her eyes as she looked back to the blonde women who smiled.
"Yeah! And it's all around the world! It says in here" Aya stated as she pointed to the book "that is goes so far to the horizon" she smiled widely
"That's so cool!" Isabel cheered a wide grin appearing on her face.
"Yeah but salty water?" Farlan questioned tilting his head in confusion while looking at the book.
"Once we leave the underground, let go all of us! Let's all go to the sea!" Aya smiled towards Levi, as he only looked at her grin from the corner of his eye before he smiled slightly.
"I wanted to see it two you know" Aya stated as Eren and Mikasa turned towards her "I wanted to see the sea with my brother, Levi and my best friend, I forgot all about that dream until you said Eren" Aya slightly smiled
"Let's go see it together, for armin and my lost family" Aya finished a slight smiled towards the two as they both cried and Aya endured them in a hug
"Ahhh! No! No!" Bertolth screamed struggle against the Titan grip, as Aya watched she looked toward Eren and his friends to see the relief on their face as she slightly smiled towards them, happy they had there friend back
"I don't get it captain.why?" Flock questioned as him, Levi, Hanji and Aya knelled around Erwin's body
"Do you think you can forgive him one day? He became a devil because he had to. We were the ones that put him up to it and in the end when he had finally set free from this hell you were about to bring him back for more" Levi stated as Aya looked at him " but I think it's time we let him rest"
"It's funny isn't it" Aya stated as their heads turned towards her "I said I would be the one to kill him, I hated him and now I'm upset he's gone, weird isn't it" Aya finished as she stood up and looked towards the children and seeing armins Titan form fall and his friend surrounding him.
