Alfea's Library
Me and Bloom sat in the library reading the books inside the library trying to find Stella's ring. My head goes back to last night's conversation with Icy.
"Before you leave Iris. You should know your family is hiding something from you. I overhead a conversion with your mother and your little prince's mother. Something about hiding the truth from you and you can never know. You should really look into it."
"There's got to be something in here. Adylunts' dreamcatchers? No. Invisibility ring? Hmm... Nibelung's ring? No... There it is! That's Stella's ring!" Bloom smiled snapping me out my daydream. "Cool! Lets go!" I smile grabbing her hand.
Bloom and Flora's Dorm Room
"The Sword of Power. Part of the lineal right of the princess of the Sun and the Moon of Solaris! That means it belongs to you!" Bloom points her finger at Stella. "Of course it does! I could've told you that myself. The sword ring has been in my family... well... forever!" She smiles. "Yeah, but that doesn't tell us why the witches are so eager to have it." I add in. "Well, it is an important and valuable object." Flora says next. "The Trix aren't common criminals. There's got to be something else to it!" Stella frowns thinking.
Trix?
Me and Bloom share a look. "Uh, excuse me! I must have missed something. Who are the Trix?" Musa smiles at us. "Oh, well that's the nickname we gave our three favorite witches." I look at Bloom.

She nods continuing. "Anyhow, We discovered other very interesting things about your ring in the book that I found at the library... According to the legend, the sword of Solaris was created a long time ago, nobody remembers when. It was sculpted out of a stone, immersed in the Spring of Light, which still flows today, and is only one of the many gifts offered by the Great Sacred Fire." Stella's eyes go wide "Woah! And I thought the history of Solaris was ultra boring!" We all laugh at Stella.
"Ah, what's the Sacred Fire exactly?"Tecna asks. This time I speak in a deep serious voice, much like Griselda. "Excellent question, Miss Tecna. Very pleased you should ask." "Hey, you sound just like Griselda!" Flora says making everyone laugh again. "Hey Iris, isn't your power the dragon flame? Shouldn't you know about this?'' Tecna asks me. "For one, I dont have the dragon FLAME. I have the Dragon flame of ICE which is only part of Dragon Flame. And second, I barley know anything about my dragon Flame. My mother never speaks about my power or about Domino. And all the classes she sent me too had to do with Queen stuff."
"Don't you think that's a little weird?" Musa frowns at me. "I mean yeah, but whenever i bring it up she always finds a way to change the topic." I didn't know why it bothered me so much when i asked her about it. Especially about the kingdom that disappeared from there. That one made her blood pressure rise and she would have to lay down after i mention it. So, I just stopped.
"Listen to this, the enchanted universe of the Magical Dimension as we know it was created eons ago by the mythical Dragon who sparked the Sacred Fire."
Outside Alfea
We walk around Alfea together continuing our talk. " Hmm, did the Dragon exist for real or is it simply a mythical symbol?" Flora asked. "Well, I think it represents an ideal. You know, the embodiment of good versus evil."Tecna replies. "Yeah, sure, okay. Uh, could you maybe repeat that in English?" I smile at her. "Stella, you must know the story." Musa says. We look at her. "Uh, well, ancient history is not my strong point..."Stella shrugs. "Oh, of course! Us princesses have different priorities." I wink at her. "Yeah! Shopping for instance." We all laugh again. Bloom stops " I'd like to know more about this dragon. I think I'll go back to the library. There are still too many questions left unanswered." "I agree, I'll come with." I smile at her. "See you later, girls!" The group waves at us. We wave back "All right. See you!" Bloom smiles at them.
One of Alfea's Corridor
Bloom frowns "For some reason, I don't think the Dragon is just a legend! There's something more to this story, something important. I can just feel it!'' I nod my head looking through some books. "I agree." "Perhaps I can help you." We hear a voice. We gasp startled. "Oh... Miss Faragonda!" We grin. "Come with me girls" We look at each other and start to follow.
Faragonda's Office
"Have a seat girls." Me and Bloom sat down at the same time. I was curious. Could she also have answers to me and Blooms weird connection? "Thank you." Bloom smiled at her. "You want to know about the Dragon. Well, it's quite a long story. In the beginning, there was nothing. And, out of the deep darkness, a dazzling light appeared, it was the Great Dragon. And with his fiery breath, he created a multitude of different worlds, and spread life, light and heat across the universe. Eventually, the Dragon became exhausted and chose to lie down and rest in a place called Domino."
I frown. "But Domino is a ice plant." Bloom frowns " Stella says Domino is a cold, dark and unfriendly place."
Faragonda smiles at us "Now it is. But it used to be a happy and prosperous place. Before dark forces attacked Domino and put out the Dragon's Flame once and for all. The Magical Dimension hasn't been the same since!" Me and Bloom smile at each other. Faragonda looks at Bloom. "Tell me girls, why are you interested in the Dragon?" Bloom shrugs "I don't know, I guess I'm just curious. Everything is so new for me here. The only person who has the dragon flame- or part of it...is Iris." I smile at her. " I barley have control of my own power." Faragonda smiled again. "Yes, I can understand that. " I look at Bloom.
Should we ask her?
Bloom thinks about it.
Nah, let's figure it out first. If we can't then we can ask.
I smile at her.
Deal
We stand and look at Ms.Faragonda "Well, We'll leave now. Thank you!" We both smile at her leaving the office.
Bloom and Flora's Dorm Room
The girls all chat in Bloom's and Flora's room. "You know, I just wanna get my ring back." Stella sighs. "Yeah and I think we should be the ones to attack!" Tecna says next.
Flora frowns at her " Tecna, we're not soldiers! How can we overpower Icy, Darcy and Stormy??" She asks pouting. "By taking them by surprise! This time, we will go to their house." Bloom says.
I look at her frowning.
Do you think this is smart?
She nods at me.
Of course we can, we're stronger together and with a plan then alone and blindsided.
I sighed. I really didn't think this was a good idea....
"Yes, right into the lion's den!" Stella yelled excited and then her face fell "...But, uh, are you guys really sure that's the right thing to do?"
My thoughts exactly....
"Aw, relax! We'll come up with a full proof plan, you'll see!" Tecna tells her. "Remember the tunnels under the school that we discovered awhile back? Let's use them to get to Cloud Tower! Tonight, when the whole of Alfea's fast asleep, the Winx will go into action!"
Tonight!
Underground Tunnels
We walked through the tunnels, flashlight in hand. Mine a little shaky.
"Um, are you sure this is the right way?"
I ask looking around me nervous.
"Trust me, Iris, we'll arrive directly under Cloud Tower castle!"
God I hope your right....
She smiled
When have I ever been wrong?
Suddenly my phone went off making me jump.
"Shhhshhh" the girls all shushed me.
I quickly answered it in a whisper voice not even glancing at the contact.
It was Diaspro, it had been awhile since we talked.
Me: Yes Diaspro?
Diaspro: You need to come home! It's an emergency!
I frowned pausing mid-step.
Me: Why? What's wrong?
Diaspro: It's mother! She's gotten very ill and fathers not sure if she'll make it by the end of the night....
I feel my heart start to ache.
Me: I'll be there as soon as possible.
I hang out looking at the girls tear eyed. "Sorry girls, I have to bail this mission for a family emergency! Keep me updated!"
They all hugged me and off I ran to pack my bag to head home...
Kingdom of Domino
I left my bags in the car quickly rushing up the stairs to my parents room.
"Mother!" I called out going straight to there chambers knocking on it. "Come in Iris..." I heard my father's voice. As soon as I opened the door I noticed a very pale women in bed....
"Mother...." I whispered rushing to her side. Diaspro held her right hand while father held her left. I bent down to her level staring at her with teary eyes. "What happened?" I asked her. She smiled moving her hand from Diaspro to my face smoothing it. Her hands ice cold. "My illness has come back...it's worse hunny." She whispered slowly. Her eyes were glassy and I knew she was trying her hardest not to cry in front of us.
"I promise I'd be at your wedding girls...but mommy might not make it..." She frowned a tear slipping out. I wiped it quickly smiling at her. "Nonsense mom, you'll be there, front row watching us...you have to be...you can't leave us until your promise is fulfilled." I held her hand tightly to my chest.
She grinned at that closing her eyes. "I'll try my flowers....." She whispered before going asleep...
We all left her to sleep heading to the hallway. Dad hugged us trying to be strong but I knew he was fighting his tears...he refused to be weak in front of us.
"Get some rest girls...we will talk in the morning." He kissed our heads sending us to our room.
Diaspro took my hand giving it a squeeze. "It's good to see you, I just wish it was on better terms..." She hugged me for a minute before heading to her room...and eventually I did too...
Dream
A voice calls out to me...it sounds so similar to one I knew as a baby...
"Iris!"
It startles me at first.
"Come, Iris! Find me..."
"Who are you?" I call out to the shadow.
"I am apart of you Iris...."
Apart of me....
"Are you my dragon? Can you help me heal my mother!"
"I am not Iris, your mother will sadly die."
No!
End
I suddenly shoot up from bed hearing a bell.
I hear three rings and my heart sinks....
