Actually, he preferred to do this sort of thing at home. Home referred to the house where the youth lived in the human realm. When he spoke, his voice was slightly hoarse, and coupled with his unfocused gaze, his words lacked any strictness. In any case, he couldn't be strict when it came to his lover.
The silver-haired officer had momentarily broken their kiss to give the youth a slight chance to speak. Even if he was an officer, he was also the Heidis Emperor who ruled for hundreds of years. He quietly waited for the youth to finish speaking before he gently pressed a finger against his lips.

He lowered his head to nibble on the youth's neck. There were two different scents mingling – one belonged to the youth while the other was the mark he had made.
Gu Yan, who was still dizzy and drowsy, wanted to tell his lover not to disturb his sleep, but was licked until he couldn't stay asleep. Even if he couldn't see, he could still hear it. Right now, Gu Yan was unmoving but he couldn't help feeling nervous.
"You have one minute." Xie Lian gave his subordinate a minute's worth of time to spit out everything. Embarrassment would lead to anxiety and would cause a humans' muscles to tense. Xie Lian could feel it.
The ghost whose neck was seized against the world looked like he'd been granted great amnesty. He knew what consequences there would be if he didn't finish speaking before one minute was up, so he dared not tarry. He immediately began to rattle off and summed up the matter in a few sentences.
From his words, the ghost was an envoy the hard-at-work Xu Qiu had sent from the ghost city. His master had designated the Hui Yun ghosts, also known as unlucky ghosts, to be sent here. They intended to stay in the human realm to capture the remaining evil spirits.
" Act according to what was ordered. Additionally, take the evil spirit in the next courtyard away." With this, Xie Lian threw his subordinate out unhesitatingly. His expression was cold throughout.
His gaze fell onto the dark-haired youth still reclined on the chaise and very quickly, he lowered his head to kiss the youth's reddened eyes. He continued to disturb the other person's rest. "In the future... drunken words don't count." With a hand on his waist, Gu Yan said expressionlessly. However, he wasn't able to maintain it for long because his partner cunningly reverted from a human appearance into a cat-like Heidis form, purring as he snuggled in his arms.
Neither his expression nor tone could carry a hint of severity. In the end, his arm instinctively reached out to stroke the furry back. After a brief moment of internal struggle, Gu Yan gave in.
They returned to the room where Gu Yan found a pair of scissors from the drawer. He patted the cat. "Didn't you say your hair was too long and cumbersome?"
His implication was clear. The Heidis in his arms tilted his head and changed his tune upon reverting back to his aloof military commander form. "I like it now."
His tone and expression showed no signs of reluctance, as if this change had come about naturally.
Since this person liked it, he also liked it. Even if he hated it before, this hate would turn into love.
