Clint POV
"She asked you to do what?!" I said
Fury just told me about the conversation him and Hayden just hand a few hours ago,
"Yeah, I'm surprised myself," Fury said
"Listen Barton whatever they had Hayden do, she's not talking about it and she's obviously not dealing with it all too well," Fury said
"That is why I'm giving you two weeks off, to help her sort out whatever is running through that mind of hers," Fury said
I just nodded
I was about to walk out,
"And Barton," Fury said
I looked over my shoulder,
"Help her, you and I both know Hayden isn't your typical teenage girl, she thinks she has to fight her battles alone, thy to some how break that line of thinking for all of our sakes," Fury said
I nodded walking out,
It was me Nat, Steve and Bucky in the living room, I told them everything, Fury told me,
"Why the hell would the kid want to do that?" Bucky said shaking his head,
"Obviously there are somethings she just doesn't want to face," Nat said
"Or maybe it's whatever the hell they made her do," i said
"Language," Steve said
"Steve not now," Bucky said
"Why don't you take her to your house again, you said she showed progress with Laura and the kids," Nat said
"Hmm, that's not bad, maybe I'll call Laura and see what she thinks," I said walking out of the room,
I called Laura
"Hello sweetheart," Her soft smooth voice said
"Hey," I said
"Everything alright?" She asked
I see Hayden walk into the training room,
"No actually I need your input on something," I said
So I explained everything that happened, everything that Hayden has been through and everything she told Fury last night,
"I was thinking about bringing her back home," I said
"I think thats a great Idea, she needs to feel like a normal kid," Laura said
"And who knows between the two of us maybe we'll break through that hard shell of her's" She said
I chuckled
"One can only hope," I said
"Alright I will see you in a few hours," I said
"Okay, be careful," She said
"I will, love you," I said
"Love you too," She said
With that I hung up, walking into the training room, watching Hayden, she was just relentlessly hitting the punching bag,
Hayden POV
The nightmares kept me from a decent night's sleep yet again, so I decided to take all my anger and frustrations out on the punching bag,
I heard the door open then close but I didn't bother looking I was too focused on letting all of my anger roll off of me,
"Hayden," I hear
I turned around to see Clint,
"Yeah?" I said
"So umm, how would you like to see Laura and the kids again?" He asked
I paused for a minute
"I'd like that," I said sadly
"Great, go pack what you need we leave tonight," He said
I nodded walking out of the room to pack a few things, to be honest I missed Laura, and the kids, being at the farm felt like it was a different life, an escape from what really was happening in my mess of a life,
And maybe just maybe being there again will chase my demons away, one can only hope I thought
