I'm feeling sad...
This is a story of a traditional opera student and ballet student. Interesting story of how the two gradually became closer and to what they are striving for.
Is there a competition between the two? How will they continue to reach their dream? This kind of give me a vibe of Salad Days, only because Little swan is a ballet student too, and both characters aspire to be what they want. They work hard to reach their goal, although Shu yun is losing his aspiration to continue at the beginning of the story. One reason I love this manhua is because there are performances to offer!
If you are in the mood when you want to cry and read emotional stories, this will irk you to get on the mood.
I'll give you a little spoiler. Shu yun is trapped like a bird. Since young, he was set to be the best. All the time his father would tell him to be more outstanding and that made him loose his passion of what he is doing.
Imagine how sad it was. We often lose our drive to do things when we are tired of doing it over and over. What more if you are like Shu Yun who has been doing the same thing since he was a kid?
Btw I checked out the Chinese opera that the author put as reference to their performance. I'm speechless because it's my first time watching it. I can't say I like it but it's not really that bad. I just kind of feel weird at the sound but I get that it's new to my ear. The way it's portrayed is really something. I'm seriously curious and the sword dance is really cool.
Though I can't really imagine Tong Yang singing because in the video it's a woman with a high pitched voice. I'll just let myself put an imaginary deep and fascinating voice to fill out my imagination. You can check it out if you are curious too. It makes me get deeper on the story now that I see it in my eyes.
The two of them is just so cute. I'll be mad if they ever break up 😡
Let's appreciate the two main character. My goodness they are so handsome. The two of them is included in my crush list 😂
I really feel like I'm reading Mystical because of how good the art is. There was a time I just stop reading just to stare at the art. Really, I am envious I want to be able to draw something amazing and create a character of my own.
Look at how shy he was in their first meeting 😂
Lol but chickens silently hold grudge on him 😂
Sorry, I'm gonna add this. They are just so cute. His brother will be hella fine when he gets older 😍
The art is surely breathtaking. Now, to fully understand the story, you can either exit this app and read now, or spoil yourself a little by scrolling below.

Have I mentioned this before? That I hate it every time there's a 2nd lead or any potential rival. I hate story where it focuses more on 3 characters. Though it's inevitable for a romance since it adds to the plot. But if I were to create a story I wouldn't focus on having a 2nd lead. I'm afraid I'll end up making him an ugly character because that's how I hate the idea lol. But there are some exemption like Baek Inho in Cheese in the Trap. Baek Inho didn't really try to be a hateful character from the start. He became a rival because he has a good personality that made him a threat to the male lead. It's also one of the reason, since I get so frustrated when my preferred character loses his chance (we all are!)
There are also some amazing manga/manhwa/manhua's without that kind of plot so...yeah. I'm really bad at hating the characters because I curse them like I was the one who got hurt 😂
Anyway, just sharing. It's not like the story is fixated on that issue. Sure, there's a rival here but the story isn't focus on relationship alone.
I really like Ah you. He's really funny, acting like Yun yun's mom. His boyfriend is handsome too. (Picture below)
This is Ah You's boyfriend (I forgot his name), wishing there will be special chapters for them in the future (wish granted. Special chapter includes Ah you and his bf!). Anyway, Ah You is Shu Yun's best friend. He supports him so much and help Shu Yun for all his might. I appreciate his character so much 🥰
And here's Tong Yang. It's hard for me to guess his attitude with appearance alone. He looks lonely, that's for sure, but he's soft hearted and lovable as you get to know him.
Thi scene surely hurts. Tong Yang feels like Shu Yun is out of his reach. Sometimes he feels so out of place. I know we experience this once in our life. We get to feel anxious and doubt ourselves in fitting in. But don't forget that someone out there will gladly offer their hands despite the differences. We need to have courage for that! Don't worry Tong Yang we love you 😭
And Shu Yun literally got intoxicated in him. This is a love at first sight! Although both are not aware of their feelings (they are innocent boys. They are so cute!)
You know what's beautiful? Those person who got the most tragic experiences and hard life is the one who has the most determination to achieve their dream.
The smile feels like a total admiration towards Shu yun. He looks so blessed to be able to meet someone like him.
Lemme take Tong Yang in my pocket 😭
