Meher felt the bed shift, a heavy arm rest on her waist, she turned around to see Ahram looking at her, his thumb stroking the exposed part of her waist.

Arham looked at her and smiled, he could see the purpling trail of his passion on her neck. Her lips looked plump and it took his every bit of self control to stop himself from repeating the events of the night.

"Good morning." He said in his husky morning voice.

"Good morning." Meher wished him back. She looked at him and saw him staring at her passionately. She turned around again and hid her face behind the pillow, her face had heated up from his glare and thinking about what they had done the night before.

Arham curled his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to his chest, he buried his face in her neck taking in her sweet scent.

The last time Arham had woken up after sharing an intimate night with Meher he had felt wrong, like he had sinned, this time around however it felt just the right thing to do, he had accepted the woman in his arms as his wife.

Meher lay there in his arms, she closed her eyes and soaked up his warmth, she could heard and feel his breath.

Why was he so difficult to understand, yesterday he had been so distant and closed, even while their bodies had mergers together and right now, even the simplest act of him holding her made her feel the closest to him she had ever felt.

"Arham." Meher said her fingers tapped on his muscular arm which was around her waist.

"Hmm ?"

"We need to get to the office." She said.

"I am the boss." He said groggily.

"But I am not." Meher replied.

"You aren't going to office today anyway." He said making her turn around to face him.

Meher looked at him from below her lashes, he was perfect, how did she find a man like him.

Arham pushed back the hair which fell on Meher's face, tracing her bottom lip with his thumb Arham leaned in making Meher's heart beat fasted. Meher closed her eyes anticipating the kiss but the soft warm touch of his lips on her forehead made her open her eyes.

Arham looked at her confused puppy face and let out a chuckle playfully punching her nose with his index finger.

He got out from the bed, picked up his discarded track pant and walked towards the other side of the room towards the bathroom. He entered the bathroom and the sound of the water tap run reached Meher's ear.

Seconds later he was out wearing his track pant which rest low on his hip.

"I've run a warm bath for you, go take a nice long bath, it's should help relax your muscles." He said standing at the door end of the bed looking at Meher.

Meher sat upright on the bed, feeling a slight discomfort in her lower half. She looked at Arham and smiled. "Thank you." she said.

"That's the least I could do." He replied. "I'm going to go get us some breakfast and our tea and coffee okay, don't get out of bed if you don't feel like." He said before heading out of the room.

Meher watched his retreating figure exit the room. Her heart swelled with adoration for the man. She would lie if she said she didn't want to share her body with Arham, she did, but she was scared, she wanted him to stop the night before but she was too afraid to tell him to.

Although the night had been painful for the first half it had been pleasurable for the rest and she would do it a million times over if it mean her husband treating her like a queen the next morning.

Meher heard the door bell ring. She checked her phone lying on the bed side, it was just seven in the morning pretty early for Gulnaz to come.

She pushed her feet down the bed and got up, a wave of pain shot through her core. She slowly made her way towards the wardrobe and pulled a pyjama bottom and slipped into it, adjusting Arham's T-shirt which was too large from her tiny frame she moved out of their room and descended down the stairs.

She could hear faint murmurs coming from the bottom, both the voice she was well versed with.

"Good morning." She said making her presence known.

The two men busy in a heated discussion turned around at the voice.

"Why did you come down ? I told you I'd get the breakfast to bed." Arham said frowning looking at Meher.

"I heard the door bell so-."

"I was there to take care of it Meher." He said.

"Yes I know I'm sorry I -."

"You don't have to say sorry." Arham said wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

Meher looked at him and gave him a small smile before focusing towards the other man in the room who looked at them with a painful expression masked behind his smile.

"Have you come to join us for breakfast?" Meher asked looking at her best friend.

"Uh N..No." He replied gulping down the lump formed in his throat. "I came to say good bye."

"What ?" Meher asked narrowing her eyebrows.

"I'm leaving. My flight is in two hours." Yusuf informed her.

"Where are you going yusuf ?"

"Islamabad for now." He said giving her a small smile.

"When will you come back ?" She asked.

Yusuf gave her a half hearted smile and said. "Soon."

He looked at his best friend who was looking at him sternly. "I should leave." He said softly.

"Come soon Yusuf." Meher said looking at him with sad eyes. "I don't feel so good about you leaving, I feel like you won't come back to me or you'll leave me here alone and I -."

"I'm always with you Nur, always." He said pushing back the strand of hair which had fallen on her face.

Meher flung herself on him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders standing on her toes.

Yusuf looked at Arham as if to take his permission to return back the gesture before wrapping his arms around Meher's waist.

Arham turned his head to the side looking away from the two who held each other in their embrace like their life depended on it.

"Come back Yusuf, please." She said trying hard not to cry, her heart felt heavy, partings were always difficult but this one seemed to be more painful and gut wrenching.

Yusuf pushed her away from him, holding her at an arms length. He looked at her from head to toe, tears stinging his eyes.

'One last time.' He said to himself. He gave her a smile turning abruptly to prevent her from seeing his tears.

"Good bye Nur Jahan." He said and walked out of the main door without waiting for a reply.

"This doesn't seem right Arham." Meher said looking at her husband who watched his friend leave.

"Believe me he is going for his own good." He said giving her a small smile. "Why don't you go back up and I'll get you your breakfast." He said and Meher nodded heading back upstairs.

Arham walked out of the house and saw Yusuf walking towards his car.

"Wait." Arham called for him.

Hearing his best friends voice made Yusuf stop in his tracks.

He turned around to see Arham walking towards him.

"You are truly leaving." Arham said.

"I am." Yusuf replied.

"You don't have to leave Yusuf." Arham said placing his hand on Yusuf's shoulder.

"I have to. Trust me, I have to." He said finally shedding down his tear of despair.

"I don't blame you for loving her." Arham said holding Yusuf by the back of his neck. "You are and will always be my best friend but she, she is my wife."

"Believe me that's the only think stopping me." Yusuf said looking at Arham from behind his tears. "I do not regret loving her, never will, I'm sorry that I did this to you, if it was up to me I would never fall in love with your wife but I will always love her." He said.

"I understand." Arham said pulling him close to him and wrapping his arms around Yusuf.

"I love you brother."

"And I love you Yusufie." Arham said pulling him away. "Take care of yourself."

"I will." He said getting into his car and driving out of the Butt mansion and their lives.

Arham carried the tray of breakfast upstairs towards his room, he entered the room to find Meher curled in the bed fast asleep.

He looked at her and smiled, she was beautiful, in and out.

Arham kept the breakfast down on the table and walked into the bathroom to get ready for office.

After a quick shower he dressed into a burgundy tapering pant and matching suit and wore a white shirt inside. Setting his hair the way he liked it, he walked out of the closet to see Meher still fast asleep.

He picked up his phone and called the reception of his company.

'Hello Butt Incorporate how may we help you ?'  The receptionist greeted.

"Good morning." Arham greeted. "Ms Meher Haideri won't be reporting to office today, she interns in the FD department, please let Ms. Seher know."

'Okay sir may I know who is this speaking and how are you related to Ms Meher.'

"My name is Arham and I'm her relative." He said cutting the call refusing to give any further unnecessary information.

He walked toward her and bent down dropping a kiss on her head. He watched her shift a little in her sleep before wandering back to her wonderland.

Meher woke up a lot fresher. She stretched her limbs and got up from the bed. The empty room smelled of old musk and her own lavender perfume.

Meher saw a tray of breakfast sitting on the bedside table a note was kept on top addressed to her.

'Didn't feel like waking you up, had to go to office as I have a few important meetings lined up.
Informed the office that you won't be coming to work today.
Have your breakfast.
Be ready in the evening, I have a spoiled dinner to compensate for.
- Arham'

Meher looked at the note again.
This note was Arham's true representation.
He was a complex man and understanding him wasn't going to be easy.

Meher kept the note aside and checked the time, it was just half past nine and she had enough time for another nap.

AN: Humans are the most complicated creatures walking this planet. However hard you try you won't ever be able to know a person, most of us aren't even familiar with our own self.

The reason why I say this is because of the last chapter. I got a bucket full of reaction, some positive who understood where the story was going, some negative who questioned the story and some had their own concern to express, while i welcome all inputs all I ask of you is to not make a presumption about how my story will end.

Honestly I'm not one of those who believes in cliches or rainbows and roses, even though my characters aren't real they are very much real, they walk around with different names between you and I.

All I'm asking for is a little bit of support and trust from you guys, we are at the end, a few more chapter and then all of you are free to write your own review.

I believe a lot of you have a lot of questions like why would Arham be with Meher if he loved hoor, is Arham bipolar and so on and so forth, so I ask you to please drop them in the comments and I'll give you a proper in-site as to why I have written what I've written.

I need your love and support to go forward with this story
I do like your inputs honestly but sometimes the words you choose and the way you express can be hurtful.

That's all for now
Since I asked you for a two day break I shall now post on the 26th.

Stay safe and lots of love
