Selena was aware of the supernatural world after when she triggered her werewolf curse at sixteen, she was only 4 months younger than Elena. And she knew she was adopted and when she was eleven her parents knew she was a rebellious child so they sent her to England to a boarding school so she could learn responsibility
They loved her just like Jeremy and Elena and they knew what she was, so they did it out of love, to protect her but Selena didn't see it that way. So when she came back at fifteen, she was more vengeful
So one day she went with some of her friends in a road trip, and there where she triggered her curse
When she first met the Salvatore brothers, she knew what they were. Stefan Salvatore was always her moral supporter and Damon was her bestfriend but everytime someone out of their gang see them, they think they were more
She despised Damon when she found out he was the one who killed Mason because he was always been there for her and helped her. But she managed to half forgive him after his constant apologises.
No one knew about her dreams except for Caroline and she wanted to keep it that way

Selena entered the Salvatore boarding house causing Caroline to jump up from the couch hugging her bestfriend as she hugged her back. She saw the look on their face causing her to frown
"Sexy wolfie took you long enough" Damon said and she chuckled
"Okay... What's going on?" Selena asked them
"We're going to kill Katherine" Damon told her as she raised her eyebrow
"Excuse me?"
"Tell them" Damon told Caroline and she nodded as Stefan entred the living room "You're gonna love this"
"I saw Katherine today" Caroline told them as Stefan's eyes widened
"Where?"
"At the Grill. I just stopped to gawk and quasi-stalk Matt" The blonde said causing Selena to laugh quietly
"Skip the teen drama and get to it" Damon rolled his eyes as the young wolf shot him a glare
"Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom. Even though I didn't really have to because I'm doofus" Caroline said as she explained that Katherine came and told her to send a message to the Salvatore brothers
"And what was the message?" Selena asked as she shared a concerned look with Stefan
"Katherine said... bring her the moonstone or she'll rip the town apart until it rains blood" Caroline informed them
"Tell them the rest of it" Damon said waving his hand
"Tonight at the Masquerade ball"
"She wants to do this in public? Killing Mason threw her off guard?" Stefan asked as Selena glared at them harshly
"And whose fault is that?" She hissed angrily
"I'm sorry again... she's running scared" Damon said "What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks"
"We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her" Stefan said looking between Damon and Selena
"Can we just give her the moonstone so she will leave?" Caroline suggested causing Selena to look at her in disbelief
"I'll pretend like you didn't ask" Selena muttered as she sat down beside her bestfriend
"Katherine is not getting a dick, I've had it. I'm gonna go to the Masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her" Damon snapped causing Selena to sigh in frustration
"You're not gonna kill her" Stefan tol Damon as Selena rolled her eyes
"Here we go"
"Don't give me that goody goody crap" Damon waved him off
"You're not gonna kill her" Stefan repeated once again as Selena glared at him
"Stefan it's really not the time for hero time" Selena stood up with a sigh
"Really?" Damon challenged his brother
"Because I will" Stefan finished as Damon and Selena ave him a proud smile
"Have I mentioned that I love you Stef?" The young wolf smiled causing Stefan to smirk
"You young lady are going to be my date" Damon told her and she scoffed
"Thought you'd never ask"
After a little while Alaric and Jeremy joined them as they helped with the weapons that going to help them kill Katherine. A knock was heard outside as Selena opened the door
"I got Stefan's your message" Bonnie told the young wolf as Stefan entered the foyer
"Hey! You brought the grimoire?" He asked the Bennett witch as she nodded holding the grimoire in her hands tightly
"Thank you" Selena smiled at her gratefully causing the witch to frown
"What's going on?" The witch asked when she entered the living room to see Damon and Alaric
"We're gonna kill Katherine" Jeremy appeared as Bonnie's eyes widened in shock
"We can explain" Selena assured her
"Please" Bonnie said fesrfully as Selena looked at Stefan
"Stef"
"We're gonna kill Katherine" Stefan repeated Jeremy's words causing Selena to slap her forehead
"This work with compressed air. The trigger mechanism is up here, I have two of these in a different size" Alaric explained and they nodded as Damon was wrapping his arm around Selena
"For you I recommend this" Alaric showed the Salvatore brothers specifically Damon a weapon that could strapped to the arm "It fits nicely under the jacket sleeve. You use the trigger when you're ready..."
"You wanted me to show you how to kill a vampire" Alaric shrugged when he saw the look on their faces "Selena are you covered?"
"I always have my knives in my boots. I can protect myself" She assured them

When they all gathered in the living room to talk about their plan "Are you sure you don't want me there tonight?" Alaric asked them
"No" Stefan denied "I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this"
"Okay well I'll make sure she doesn't leave my sight" Alaric nodded
"Okay if anybody wants to back out. I'll understand" Stefan said looking between them all
"Yeah cold feet speak now" Damon said deadpanned "I don't want this going wrong if someone's chicken out... Caroline"
"I won't" she spoke firmly and he gave her a look "Look, she killed me fairs fair. As long as there's no werewolf running around except for Leenie"
"Oh I took care of..." Damon trailed off when he saw the look on Selena's face
"As long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone. He won't turn" Jeremy said and Selena shook her head
"No... we won't let that happen" Selena said
"What about you Selena?" He asked her causing her to scoff
"Leenie's with us" Damon defended causing her to smirk
"Bonnie?" Stefan asked the witch and she nodded
"But no one get's hurt" she sternly spoke
"Except for Katherine" Damon smugly said "Tonight she gets a stake through her heart"
"Anyways I'm gonna go get ready and check on Auntie J... See you at Seven, Dae" she announced before walking away leaving the house
Selena and Tyler were at his father study room, she put down her mask and took a deep breath as Tyler was pulling at his tie
"Let me do your tie" she told him as she fixed it before patting his chest "You look good"
"You look beautiful Leenie" he complimented and she sigh
"I wanted to get away. Take a deep breath before I explode" she said putting a hand on her forehead "I know that your Dad wasn't exactly the best... but still it's okay to miss him"
"It's already packed out" Carol Lockwood entered the room causing Tyler to sigh "You know we need to keep that door shut. Your father would be very unhappy if I let guest in here"
Tyler stood from the desk once again moving towards Selena who was standing in front of his mother "Oh look at you! So handsome" Carol told Tyler as ahe stared at him in awe
"Hello Aunt Carol" Selena smiled at the Lockwood women
"Hello sweetie"
"Thanks, you look pretty good too mom" he told her
"Oh a compliment!" Carol gasped sarcastically "I think I'll fall over"
"Listen... I'm sorry I've been a dick lately-" Tyler began and Selena cleared her throat
"Jerk" she muttered quietly
"A jerk lately... it's just... have you heard from Mason Leenie?" He asked and Selena froze in her spot not knowing how to act or say
"Nope, Nada" she shook her head dismissively
"Mom?"
"No and I don't think we're going to. He's coming, he's going. It's just his way" Carol explained with a sympathetic smile "He's the exact opposite of your father"
"We should've cancelled the party" Tyler said looking at the picture of his father and mother that was at the desk
"This whole masquerade theme was his idea" Carol said at her son "I don't know what it has to do with helping the homeless but once he made up his mind, he could really be a dick..."
"A jerk" the elder Lockwood corrected when she saw the look on both of Tyler and Selena's face "But I loved him and I know you did too... It's natural to feel abandoned. I just don't want you to feel alone"
"Come on put your masks on" Tyler said breaking the silence "Let's just go out there and pretend to have some fun"
"It was good to see you. Aunt Carol" Selena said putting her mask on with smile
"You too, Honey. I think I need a cocktail first"

Selena led Jeremy and Bonnie to another room where Bonnie could trap Katherine inside of it "This one will work" she told them and they nodded
"It's perfect" Jeremy told her
She and Jeremy put down the weapons bag onto the floor as he looked at her with a concerned look causing her to frown in confusion
"What is it?" She asked him
"Aren't you going to turn?" He asked her and she chuckled
"Relax baby brother. Not tonight... in two weeks" she informed
"The full moon is next week" He told her and she scoffed
"I suck at math" she shrugged and he chuckled giving her some weapons in case something wrong happen
"I'm good. I have-"
"Just please take it" he told her amd she sighed taking them "I know you're all powerful... being a werewolf it's cool but you're always going to be my sister and I need to know you're safe"
"Trust me Baby bro you don't want to be a werewolf" she smirked at him "Your clothes being ripped out every month it's not cool"
"Anyways I'm gonna go, call me if you need anything" she muttered before walking away from the room leaving the witch and her younger brother alone

Selena spotted Katherine across the room as she saw Stefan dancing with her and she rolled her eyes making her way towards Damon when she received a message from Jeremy telling her that the room was ready
"Leenie" Damon greeted as he offered his hand "You look sexy and beautiful, I'm proud to have you as my date"
"You don't look bad yourself, sexy Salvatore" she took his hand as they began to sway slowly, she rested her head on his shoulder
"Is she looking at us?" She asked him quietly
"Yeah but she can't listen. Is everything okay?"
"The room's ready. Jeremy just texted me" she told him and he nodded "You know you can't back down..."
"I'm not going to. I promise" he promised and she sigh in relief
"Be careful" she told him and he kissed her cheek
"I will. Stay out of trouble, stay with your brother and Bonnie" he sternly spoke and she pouted "Don't give me those eyes"
"Fine" she groaned in frustration as he disappeared into the crowd

"So can you do like a hocus pocus to ace a test" Jeremy asked and Selena smiled in amusement
"I don't know that spell" Bonnie grinned and Selena giggled
"It'd be like one I'd learn or maybe like a sex spell or something I don't know" he chuckled
"Honestly, why am I third wheeling you?" She asked them and they both blushed "I'm bored"
"Do either of you want to dance?" He asked as he turned to Bonnie
"No" she half shouted and Selena noticed the tension between the two of them "I mean no thank you"
"Awkward" Selena muttered quietly
"Leenie?"
"Okay" she took his hand and danced with him until his phone vibrated and glanced at it showing it to her
"It's time" she told him and he nodded as they made their way to Katherine only to find her talking with another girl
"Elena" Selena called as Lucy turned around
"Hey sorry! Could we talk to our sister?" Jeremy asked Lucy and she nodded walking away
"What is it?" Katherine asked with a bored tone
"We have a message from Stefan and Damon" Jeremy said causing her eyes to widen
"Oh"
"They want you to meet them at the edge of the lake by the woods. They have the moonstone" Selena said looking at the vampire with disgust
"And why are you two their little messengers?" Katherine asked and Selena lifted her mask up with a fake smile
"We're not afraid of you kitty kat" the young wolf smirked devilishly
"Hmm aren't you two courageous?" She teased with a smirk touching Jeremy's tie "How's John by the way? Were they able to sew his fingers back on?"
"Katherine you know the full moon is almost upon. If I were you I wouldn't want to cross me" Selena threatened with a fake smile as she smacked the doppelganger's hand away from Jeremy
"Relax, Selena" Katherine smiled at the young wolf "I'm not gonna harm you"
"Oh I wish I could say the same" Selena pouted mockingly
Katherine meant what she said, she would never harm the young wolf since she knew what she was because if a certain someone find out, she was so dead. Even if she didn't admit it but she enjoyed her
"Come on let's go, Leenie" Jeremy said and the walked away only for someone to grab her arms
"What the hell is going on?" Elena asked them causing them to share a look

"Are you guys trying to kill her here?" Elena asked them in disbelief
"Ironic isn't" Selena scoffed sarcastically as the doppelganger shot her a glare
"We saw an opportunity and we knew we had to take it" Jeremy said and Selena nodded in agreement
"Okay stop we the we!" Elena told them sternly "Are you guys crazy? You could get yourselves killed!"
"We know what we're doing, Elena" Bonnie stated
"Exactly" Selena nodded pointing at the witch
"And how am I supposed to feel if one of you guys gets hurt because of me?" Elena asked causing Selena to roll her eyes
"Not everything is about you Elena!" Selena snapped coldly "It's not just you. She messed with all of us. Care, the Salvatores, Mason... all of us"
"She has to be stopped" Jeremy continued and all of sudden Elena cried out in pain as blood appeared in the back of her shirt
"What the-" Selena's eyes widened in shock "What's happening?"
"It's Katherine! She's linked to Katherine" Bonnie told them "Get them to stop. Now!"
Selena and Jeremy ran inside the mansion making their way to the room where Katherine and the Salvatore brothers were stuck in "Stop!" She shouted
"Elena's linked to Katherine" Jeremy explained causing Damon to lower his stake from Katherine's chest as she got out of Stefan's grip with a taunting smirk
"You think you're the only one with a witch on your side?" She asked the Salvatores with a proud smile "Wrong, and something tells me that, my witch is better than your witch"
"You've got to be kidding me" Selena groaned in frustration
"Go check on your sister" Stefan told them "Make sure she's okay"
"So how about the moonstone" Katherine asked as Jeremy grabbed Selena's wrist pulling her out of the room

After the spell had been broken, Selena was outside with Elena making sure she was alright after what had happened at the ball
"I'm driving. Don't even try to argue with me" Selena said sternly
"You're a bad driver but thank you" Elena smiled at her sister
"I know I'm not exactly the kind and ideal sister you and Jeremy wished for but... I'm trying to change" Selena told her and the older sister grabbed her hand to comfort her
"I know"
"I'm sorry for being hard on you. It's just I can't control my temper sometimes"
"It's okay... you were right" Elena told her "I'm sorry. I wasn't around lately and-"

When they made it to Selena's car, they noticed someone behind them from the windows glass. They turned around to see two men wearing masks causing their eyes to widen in fear
Selena tried to scream but one of them slammed his hand on her mouth and when she tried to fight him off, he slammwd her head against her car knocking her out
