Where did the spring of love go?
I can't even smell the roses of happiness
It seems like our life has turned into a thorny desert
Pricking us everyday with the poison of separation.
The dusty winds have covered our symbol of love
Making them alive with the tears of my pain,
Sliding my fingers through your letters
I carefully place the dried pieces of rose,
I smile recalling the times of togetherness
Now all lost in darkness.
Where did you go my sweetheart ?
Leaving me all alone with your bouquet
of memories,
I am struggling to breathe to life
Still carrying the dream to become your wife.
