"Grandma's here ,Grandma's here !" (Y/n) heard cheering from the other side of the door of her daughter-in-law's & son's home after she knocked once
"It seems like Himawari has missed you." Minato whispered towards his wife smiling at the excitement of his granddaughter,
"I know." She whispered back, being greeting by a dark-blue hair girl
"Hello Himawari" (Y/n) greeted her granddaughter with a big smile
"Hey grandma, grandpa." Boruto said being disappointed that is wasn't his father
"Hello Hinata." (Y/n) greeted her daughter-in-law with a hug after taking off her jacket
"Where's Naruto? He should be greeting us as while." Minato said holding Himawari in his arms walking towards the kitchen
"Naruto isn't home yet sadly." Hinata explained towards her Mother & Father-in-law, Minato nodded his head understand how much being Hokage can take time away from family
"Is your father coming or is he still scared of me."
(Y/n)asked, remembering her first encounter with the Hyūga leader.
"What do you mean, My son isn't good enough for your daughter." (Y/n) shouted towards the older man pulling his daughter away from the small cafe she was at with Naruto and his parents
"She is my oldest daughter meaning she is the next leader for the Hyūga clan, she needs to marry someone within the clan." He said beginning to walk away, fuming at the core clearly not seeing the love between them
"Father, I want to be with Naruto." Hinata said her soft voice not getting through her father's ear
"Hiashi Hyūga."
A voice rang out toward the man turning around seeing an unholy smile from the Hokage's wife.
"Yes his coming, Mama (Y/n) once he heard you were coming he was on his way." Hinata said remembering that day and having a slight fear of her mother-in-law.

Naruto final showed up to his daughter's birthday and greeted everyone at the party having a fun time, everyone was ready for the cake, Himawari sat between her mother and brother while everyone started sing before the cake can make it to the table it fell on the floor Naruto nowhere to be found
"How could he." Boruto said through his teeth clutching his hands in anger, Hinata with a disappointing look as Himawari ran into her room crying "I'll get the cleaning supplies." Minato mumbled walking away.

(Y/n) walked through the halls of the Hokage building bring back memories when Minato was Hokage, "Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki" she shouted kicking the door open seeing her son on the floor wide awake
"How dare you, I thought you didn't want to be like your father when his was Hokage now look at you." She scolded her adult son
"I don't care how old you are I am still your mother."
She yelled grabbing Naruto by his ear and dragging him out passing by people who moved out her way knowing how she gets
"Mom, please stop this, I can walk." Naruto said through the pain, stopping and letting go of his ear
While Naruto rubbed his ear he looked at his mother
"I'm sorry" he said "Not me, to them." She said pulling out her phone showing him a picture of his family "Do you remember what I did to your father when he came home late every night."
She said looking into his eye that matched his father;Minato
"Yea, you stopped talking to him then when he started coming home around dinner you talked to him again." Naruto laugh at the memories of his dad being excited when he heard her voice
"That was then, this is now. Hinata's love for is there but she has kids who need a father, be there for them or watch them grow up with out you." (Y/n) said walking through the door of his home seeing his father in an apron , his son comforting his sister with Hinata
"Hinata, I'm sorry. Himawari I'm—." Naruto was on the ground with his daughter crying into his chest
"Well now that everything seems to be in order, Himawari you want to blew out the candles." Minato said holding the new cake up, gathering around the table once again
"I wish daddy can take a break from now on." She said out loud blowing out the candles.
