ALEC'S POV
"Come on! I have paid my electricity bills this time." I mumbled ,half asleep as I picked up the phone.
"Who?"
" Alec! Its me ,Kevin!"
"Give me one good reason to not chop off your head for waking me up."
" Its urgent,get ready!" Kevin said.
" At midnight!! Are you nuts!?" I asked ,annoyed.
" A murder has occurred in our locality just a few minutes ago!"
" How you know that??"
" Fred informed me. Kid's loyal ,dude!"
" What's in it for us?" I asked.
" We are nearest detectives here!!" Kevin shrieked with enthusiasm .
" Not to mention,worst also." I muttered ,uninterested .
" Come on! Don't be a sore loser. We are getting a chance so don't miss it!" Kevin said.
" How are you so sure that they would give us this case?" I asked.
" You coming or not?"
"Nope,good night." I mumbled and hung up the phone.
I feel sad for him now,so enthusiastic even when he knows that we are worthless.
Why I became a detective??

KEVIN'S POV
He is such a negative person!
I got in my car and started the engine.
He has got so self centered now.
Since he got separated from his parents.
Not to mention,it was Alec's choice to pursue this career .
Is he regretting it now??
I drove towards the murder location.
The dead body was found 15 minutes ago. If I drive fast,maybe I can get a chance to inspect it?
15 MINUTES LATER
I parked the car and headed towards the murder scene . It was a big house!!
That's good! Richer people,more payment .
" How are you so sure that they would let us handle the case?"
Fuck! His words are still messing with my head! Such a sadistic guy he is!
Two guards were standing at the main gate of the house.
" Wait! You can't go in there!" One of them thundered,stopping me.
" Well,I am a detective,I know what happened here." I said.
" The police is handling the case. No need for you!" The other guard said.
How rude!!
" Um.. Actually , I have been called by this family to take care of this case." I lied. Anything to reach the scene.
" Nice lie! Would have worked normally but to your disappointment ,all the family members have been found dead!" The guard said.
" Wait,what!!! "
" Yes,we heard screams from inside. When we reached there ,Mr and Mrs Smith along with their kids were found dead." The guard said.
" I still can't believe it! We are guarding the gate whole time and this huge wall around this Manson can't be vaulted!!" The other guard said.
I just stood there,awestruck.
Who would have done that? Not a gang certainly!
" So go now! Fake detective!" The guard said.
" I am not fake!!" I cried angrily ,showing my card.
" Whatever,get lost. No need for ya." The other guard said.
I walked away and entered in my car,where I kept sitting quiet for a few moments.
To understand anything ,I must go inside but how??
" Sirs!! Come with me,please!!!" Came a crying voice from outside.
I looked out of my window and saw a person near the guards.
Alec!!!!
" What happened??" The guard asked.
" Come with me please!!" Alec cried.
" We are busy guarding this place! Can't come! "
" A white women is in trouble!! "
" Where, sir!!!?" The guards cried in unison.
As Alec lead them towards the other side of road, he winked at me.
Alec,you bitch! Well done!
I quickly crossed the gates and entered in the Manson .
Inside the hallway ,there was a crowd of policemen and other people including cameramen and other investigators .
As I made my way through the crowd ,I was able to get a glimpse of a dead body.
It was a middle aged man in a black suit and tie. His head had been probably split open by something .
I went upstairs,there was another body their. It was of a woman in red dress ,her eyes wide open .
Looking at her corpse ,I guessed that she had been probably stabbed in the chest stomach a number of times.
I walked towards a nearby policeman and asked, " Any gunshot traces??"
" Who are you??"
" I am a detective "
" Haven't called you."the policeman said.
" Would it kill you to give me a piece of information??" I asked,annoyed by now.
" No gunshots had been made,the family had arrived from a party around 7 pm " the policeman said.
" Where are the bodies of the kids??" I asked.
" In the bedroom in front. Go check if you want but I don't think that your young heart would tolerate the sight"
" Well,thanks. " I said and walked towards the bedroom.
I wished I listened to the policeman .
Inside the room was a bloody mess.
The walls were covered in blood.
On the bed were two badly chopped bodies of kids. A knife was buried in one boy's mouth.
I felt like throwing up after seeing this gruesome sight . Unwilling , I touched I bloody wall. The blood was dried.
I investigation team is too late,the killer must have got too far by now.
Suddenly , my sight went on the wall in front of the bed,something was written on it with blood.
ITS NATURAL . THE ONE WHO INTERVENES MUST BE PUNISHED.
Then ,my eyes went on one of the boy's corpse . Words were carved on his stomach.
STILL NEAR.
I quickly went outside the mansion.
This was enough ! Can't tolerate more than this!
As I was walking out ,I heard a cry,
" START THE CAR,KEVIN!!!!"
It was Alec! Behind him were the guards.
" Stop running or I will shoot!!" One of them cried angrily.
" Gun's empty!!" The second guard cried .
" How! I reloaded it today!!"
" I took the bullets out!!"
"Why!!?"
" My handgun was empty!!"
" So you shoot this bastard!!"
" I spent my bullets on shooting glass bottles !".
The guard stopped in between the chase to choke his fellow guard .
Meanwhile, Alec and I got in the car and drove away.
" I hope you got some clues." Alec muttered,panting heavily.
" You won't believe me." I muttered .
