Noah's pov -
Jack and I were parked up outside Sadie's house, I was so nervous. Sadie did say we could invite a plus one so I decided to bring Jack, we had been together for a month now so at the time I thought nothing of it but now I couldn't help but feel like that was a bad idea. I knew Finn was going be here but how was I meant to face him alone? I needed my boyfriend.
"Babe look at me." Jack whispered grabbing hold of my shaky hands. I looked up and into his eyes suddenly feeling a sense of comfort.
"It's going to be okay and if it's not, you have me, I'm not leaving your side." He reassured and leant in. I followed and soon our lips pressed lightly against each other. He soon pulled away and whispered a soft,
"Come on, we don't want to be late." I let out a small giggle and we both exited his car.
We knocked on the door and Sadie opened it widely and greeted us with a wide smile. When we walked in everyone was already their; Gaten, Caleb, Joe, David etc... And yes, him too.
Of course HE was the first person that turned around and made eye contact with me. I could feel my heart drop as he looked at Jack. He was hurt, I could tell just by looking at his eyes. He looked tired as well, dark eyebags were under his eyes. He's skinnier too, and his hairs longer. I wanted to give him a hug, I didn't like seeing him like this...But I couldn't he- he's the one that cheated and I had Jack!
I looked at Jack, he was watching me look at Finn. I squeezed his hand and smiled at him. Sadie soon stood in front of us all,
"Now that we're all FINALLY here..." She said dragging out the finally and looked over at us making everyone laugh, "Let's get this party started shall we?!" She shouted leading us to her garden where there was a barbeque set up with food all over and music playing loudly.
We all soon began to mix with one another catching up, Natalie and Charlie were expecting and it was incredible news. I had just finished congratulating them when Millie had come over and asked to have a chat. We had a small talk, she was full of apologies and soon enough we had hugged, seeing her still hurt but...I miss her, so much - she's always been there and I couldn't help but work this out with her. Maybe this was a sign that I was moving on from the incident? Throughout the afternoon me and Finn had been giving each other small glances but my focus tried to remain on my boyfriend, I came here with him and I knew he could see me looking at Finn. After a couple more songs played I felt my mouth getting dry, so I looked up at Jack who was talking with Gaten and Caleb and whispered loudly in his ear,
"I'm going to get another glass of Champagne, want anything?" He shook his head.
I walked into the kitchen and steadily started pouring myself a glass but I stopped when I heard footsteps enter the room after me. I turned and let the glass fall out of my hand.
"Shit, I didn't mean to make you jump!" Finn panicked.
"It's fine.." I mumbled leaning down starting to pick the glass up when I felt Finn come help. I stood up immediately and placed the glass into the bin so I could get away from him.
"Noah please can we just...talk?" He asked softly. I could hear the sadness in his voice but I couldn't let myself give in.
"You wanna talk? Okay, why was I not good enough Finn? Why did you throw our relationship away just like that? Why didn't you love me?" I snapped.
"I-" He sounded shocked at my outbreak, "It wasn't like that..." He whispered.
"Well it sure damn looked like it Finn! Was it even your first time with her?"
"No! I mean, of course it was!" He was stuttering. I couldn't do this, my chest was getting tighter and the pain was coming back.
"I don't believe you Finn!" I said calming myself down. He looked down and took a step closer to me only for me to take one back.
"Noah please-" His voice broke. How does he get to be the one hurt...
"No Finn! Why should I? You cheated! You hurt me, YOU!!" I stopped as I noticed his breathing going faster,
"I'm- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.." Finn said yet again stuttering, his hands were now beginning to shake. He didn't look okay.
"Finn are you okay?" I softly said a little bit shocked. He shook his head and was shaking even worse now. I could hear him trying to breath and I was started to get worried. He was staring at the floor and I could see tears slowly falling and I began to realize; he was having a panic attack.
