(A/n:One of the last three chapters of the KH1 Arc! The first chapter will be long, the second one kinda long, and the third will be relatively short unless I get more ideas for what I have planned. "You said Hollow Bastion?!" Cid said as you all sit in the cockpit talking to him. "I see, so Maleficent's lair is there..."
"You know that place?!" Oswald asked.
"How can we get there?!" You asked as Cid ate a couple chips.
"Well with your current equipment, it's not enough to get you to Hollow Bastion. If the navigation you guys found is complete..." Cid started to say as Goody held up something.
"Hyuk, will this work?" He asked as you all looked at him in long silence. Before...
"GOOFY?!" You all shouted at him.
"I got this from the treasures on the pirate ship." Goofy said as Donald looked in disbelief.
"When did this happen?" Donald asked as Cid gave a serious look.
"For the upgrade, you guys must make a trip back to Traverse Town." Cid said as you smiled at him.
"Alright! We'll be there shortly. Hang on till we get there!" You say as Cid chuckled at you.
"Sure kid, see ya." He says and cuts off the call.
"You guys have time to get prepared." Donald said as you and Sora nodded. You both went into your room and sat on the bed. There was a brief silence but you held Sora's hand. She, in turn, intertwined your fingers like always.
"This really is it, huh?" You say as Sora looks at you. "After we defeat Maleficent, we can finally go back to the way things were."
"That's right. Kairi and Riku should be there... but..." Sora said as she squeezed your hands. "Will Riku listen to us?"
You knew exactly what she was talking about. It wasn't her fault, you felt the same way. Riku seemed different and she was so cut off from you than last time. "I still believe that's she's in there somewhere. I'm not giving up on her because, I'd know she'd do the same for me."
Sora smiled at your heartfelt words and slowly looked at your lips. Sora kissed you and you were taken back at first but then sunk into it. Her arms wrapped around your neck and pulled you in. You wrapped your arms around her waist as you were unsure what to do. You fell back into the bed and saw Sora on top of your waist. You were blushing immensely as was Sora. But Sora still kissed you and you had no clue what led to these events. Was it something you said?! You didn't know what to do you so you just went with it. Sora eventually stopped and looked at your red face. She giggled and held your face with her hand. "Seems like I'm still in charge."
She then hopped off your lap and went towards the door. You were laying there for a while, trying to figure out why she-
"WAIT! WERE YOU JEALOUS OF TINKERBELL?!" You shout with a smirk as she blushed and immediately left. You got up out of bed and looked at Tinkerbell in the corner laughing. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up."
You looked out the window to see the stars. "Soon, this whole journey will be over. Then maybe, we won't have to fight anymore."
You turned away from the window and looked at the closet. "I knew we wouldn't have a need for this. I still don't have a adventure costume. Still just a jacket and jeans. Maybe one day, I'll get a different costume."
A couple minutes later, Sora walked back into the room and slept like a rock. You decided to sleep as well as Tinkerbell flew onto your hair for a blanket. After a half hour.
*Warping in one minute! Get up to the cockpit!*
"Come on, Y/n!" Sora shouted as she woke you up and headed up to the cockpit. Tinkerbell flew into your pocket again as you quickly ran to the cockpit.
"Alright, everyone's here! This is the first time we're trying this so bare with us." Oswald says you all sit in the chairs. Soon Goofy pressed the button and the Gummi ship took off at light speed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Everyone shouted as the warping finally stopped. You went flying out of your chair as Donald looked around.
"Is everyone okay?" He asked as you raised your thumb up.
"We seriously need seatbelts." You say as Donald lands the Gummi ship and you see Cid immediately as you walk in. "Hey! Cid!"
"Huh?" He said as he looked up. You threw him the Gummi he needed. He chuckled and observed it. "Alright! Nice work, Goof. I'll get this installed right now. It'll take a couple minutes so sit tight."
He then walked away as you thought back to Oswald. He had a wife at home, kids waiting for him, and he has to go on this journey instead. You felt sad just thinking about it.
"Sora! Y/n!" Donald shouted as Goofy looked at the two of you.
"Now remember what Donald said: No frowning, no sad faces." He said as Sora looked at them.
"How can you still be so cheerful? There's still no sign of your king." Sora said as you agreed.
"Aren't you worried?" You asked them as Donald shook his head.
"Nope!" Donald said as Goody nodded.
"The king told us to go out and find the key bearer, and here we found you two and our good pal, Oswald. As long as we stick together, it'll all work out okay." Goofy said as Oswald crossed his arms and smiled at you.
"You just gotta believe in yourself, that's it." He says as a blinding light appear in your face and you found yourself flying in a white void.
"Where? Where am I?" You asked into the void. You saw the heartless appear and you quickly got out your keyblade. "Heartless!"
You ran around the void trying to dodge the attacks and leaped into the air. You preformed Ragnarok which dealt with a lot of the heartless. You then fell back to the ground only to see the heartless coming together to from a Demon Tide. Of course, you had never seen this before so you immediately backed up from it. You rolled out of the way of an attack and manipulated the keyblade to strike them from afar. You called it back after doing minor damage to it. "I can already tell, this is the hardest thing I've fought yet."
You activated your eyes and quickly dashed towards it. You casted King Lighting before slicing the sides of it. You were finally doing damage to it but you couldn't activate it fully yet. It was damaged and you fell to the ground and rolled out of the way of an attack. You casted blizzard on the ground to help you maneuver backwards at high speeds. You then turned around and casted Firaga. The whole demon tide lot of flames and soon Graviga was used next. The tide slipped through the ground and came out enveloping you in darkness. You soon came out of the darkness in the air. You fell to the ground rather exhausted and wounded. The Tide got closer and closer until...Suddenly, chains wrapped around the tide and broke it apart. You turned around and regained your composure. A figure of darkness appeared in the void. It seemed like a female.
"Who are you?" A woman asked as you couldn't see her face at all.
"Me? Who are you?" You said as Aqua is shown to be looking at a figure of light. She was in the dark worlds and came across a clearing.
"I can't see your face? Are you hiding it?" She asked and crossed her arms. You did the same thing.
"I'm not hiding anything, I don't even know how to do that. More importantly, did you bring me here?" You asked her and Aqua looked shocked.
"Me?! I'd never bring someone down here." She said as you scratched your head.
"Down where?" You ask. "There's nothing but void."
"What are you talking about? This is the Dark Worlds. The worlds that have fallen into darkness." She explained as you looked in shock.
"Wait! These are the world that were failed to be saved?! They fall into this?" You say referring to the void but Aqua was talking about the float debris from worlds. She then looked at you suspiciously.
"Are you a keyblade master?" She asked as you then were confused.
"W-What? Oh no! The only keyblade master I know is Oswald." You say as Aqua rested her hand on her chin.
"Did I really bring you here? But why would I-?" Aqua tried to figure it out as you smiled.
"Well, you saved me so I thank you for that." You say as a door opens up that you and Aqua both see from your respective places. Aqua remember you talking about light doors. You look at the figure. "Maybe you just need to talk to someone."
You then walk through the door and the door closes. Aqua is confused but needed to keep moving. She soon saw a darkside forming up ahead and sighed. "I just can't catch a break, can I?"
"Hey, Y/n! You okay?" Oswald asked you snap back to Traverse Town. "What was that all about?"
"Oh, i don't know. I think I was just daydreaming." You say with a smile as Cid then came back.
"I installed that navigation gummi. That place is filled with Heartless. Be careful." He told you all and you nodded. You all walked away as Cid nodded. "Well... I should start to prepare things on this end as well."
You walk by Yuffie as she pats you on the back. "You'll do great out there! On your way to save the worlds! Then you'll be almost as good as I am!"
She said cockily as you chuckled. "Thanks, Aunt Yuffie."
There was a long silence as you blushed and looked away. Yuffie and the others were confused but you quickly walked onto the Gummi ship. Yuffie looked at the gang. "Uh... what was that about?"
"No idea. I'll go see, but we'll see you later!" Sora said as they waved goodbye. Riku is seen breathing heavy and gripping the ground. Maleficent looked at the girl.
"Not even using a vessel to bring the girl here... rely too much in the powers of darkness and your heart will be swallowed by it as well." She says as Riku glared at her.
"Shut... Up!!" She shouted but a large roar was heard. Maleficent sighed unamused."That's a remnant from a vanquished world who followed the princess here. He's been lingering around here and not leaving." Beast is seen roaring in anger outside Hollow Bastion. "Looks like he possesses very strong will power to be able to get here."
Riku looked at the image of Beast. "It hurts my eyes."
You are seen in the cockpit and tapping the paper with your pencil. Sora and the others look at you. You finally got an idea. "I've got it! You guys mind helping me out?"
They looked at you confused as Kairi is seen looking at Tinkerbell amazed. Tinkerbell keeps looking around cause she knows something there. Sora gripped the chair behind you to see the paper. "Is it help with the song?"
"Yeah, since this journey has helped me write it, I think all of us finishing it is the right thing to do." You say as everyone smiles. They all get out of the chairs and start trying to grab a pencil.
"Well, I think this is good!" Donald shouted as he wrote something on the paper.
"If it relates to you, I'd say use it!" Oswald says and write last something down as Goofy write down some ideas.
"I think this is something that could help." He says as Sora takes your pencil and writes something down as well.
"Oh! This could be a reference to the islands!" She says as Tinkerbell and Kairi guide your hand with your pencil to write down what they want.
"This will be so pretty." Kairi said as the song was soon finished. You all smiled as you realized something.
"We don't have anything to play it with." Everyone got a little depressed as Goofy thought about it.
"If we all imagine how it sounds individually, maybe it'll be that more perfect." He said as you all smiled.
"That's a good way at looking it, Goofy." Oswald said as Sora took the paper and her and Kairi started to memorize it. It must have been catchy because it didn't take long for them to. "Wait-! Who's flying?!"
You all had a sense of dread as you looked forward. You were speeding into the planet. You all entered the atmosphere fast and you quickly pulled up the Gummi ship with your keyblade whip. The Gummi ship avoided crashing into the water and landed on top of it. You all breathed in relief and hopped down to the surface. Oswald looked at the castle.
"So this is Hollow Bastion." He said as Goofy got his shield out.
"We should stay on guard. Heartless are bound to appear." He said as Sora grabbed her chest.
"I... I know this place!" She said as you all looked at her confused.
"Huh?" The group says as she looks at her chest.
"Although I know I shouldn't... but I'm getting an elating feeling... here." She said and pointed to her chest. Donald looked at her with a smile.
"Are you hungry?"
"That's totally unrelated!" She said as you all heard a large roar. You remember a skill you picked up from Tinkerbell: Super Glide. Tink said it worked the same as flying in Neverland, just you can't fly upwards. Beast is seen glaring at Riku as you all make your way upwards.
"Bring Belle back." He said as Riku looked at him in curiosity.
"How did you get here? Without a vessel, nor with the power of the heartless..." Riku said as Beast stared at her.
"I believe! I can definitely save her from the midst of darkness." He said as Riku gained a dangerous look. She smirked darkly and summoned her keyblade.
"Only believing... is it enough to save her?" She said as she slashed Beast with a fatal strike.
"GAHHHHH!!"
"RIKU! STOP!" You shouted as Riku stopped her keyblade from piercing his head. Beast then fell over, not moving as Riku looked at you all with a smirk.
"So you've come, Y/n." She said as Sora glared at her.
"Where's Kairi!?" She shouts as Riku snapped her fingers.
"What do you think? Here Sora. I have something for you." She dropped a wooden sword in front of her feet. Sora looked at it in confusion, what good is a wooden sword.
"What is this?"
"Your new sword." Riku said and crooked her finger towards herself. Sora's keyblade started to pull towards Riku.
"What did you do?!" Sora shouted as the keyblade disappeared from her hand and went into Riku's.
"You simply don't have any idea how to use the keyblade proficiently." Riku shouted as You glared at her.
"Are you telling me that you can?" You shouted at her as she chuckled at you.
"Don't force yourself. Surely you've already sensed it, Y/n. How vast the difference is between our power..." She said as her eyes turned yellow and glared at you. "How stronger I am than you." A deep man's voice overlapped hers before her eyes went back to normal and looked at Sora.
"But that's impossible! I'm the one who fought my way here with the keyblade!" Sora shouted in anger as Riku looked at the kingdom key.
"You were just the delivery girl." She says as she then points to You and Sora. "You two don't have what it takes to save Kairi. I see that now. Go play hero with the stick. And you..." Riku points towards Oswald. "Heard you got separated from your family. It'd be a shame for the Heartless to show up in the castle if you didn't play your cards right."
Sora falls to her knees in tears as Riku walks away with a cold expression. You shake Sora but she doesn't even want to look at you. "Sora! Sora!"
"Calm down, Sora! It'll be okay!" Kairi tried to reassure as Donald went forward. He had the a sad look on his face, it was of pure emotion.
"Goofy, Oswald... let's go." He said as Oswald glared at him.
"What?! You're gonna go with him after that?!" He shouted as Donald put his head down.
"We have a mission. It's about saving the worlds, it's not just about these two." Donald said as Goofy had a sad look on his face.
"The king said work together with the keybearer. But..." Goofy said as Oswald turned towards the group.
"If the Heartless invade the castle, my family could be in danger... but is this really right?" Oswald says as he remembered Riku's threat. It was a good threat, after all, she was working with Maleficent. That was clear enough.
"O-Os?" You cried out a little in a soft voice of disbelief. Oswald started walking forward with small tears in his eyes and not a word. You were hurt and glared at him. "Fine! We don't need you guys! Just go!"
Oswald hopped to the next platform as Goofy and Donald got tears as well. Donald looked back at you two. "Sorry, Kids."
"Sora..." You turned back to Sora and saw she was curled into a ball. You began to shake her. "Come on, we gotta keep moving."
"Go... Stop... I don't want you... to see me like this...." She cried out as Kairi was glaring at where Riku was but... was unable to say anything. You stood up and got surrounded by blue aura. You took your rage out on a pillar next to you. You swung with your bare fists. You thought back to all the memories you had with them.
"Hey?! Are you okay?!"
"Ugh...yep! I just took a couple hits. Got a name, kid?"
"My name is Y/n L/n! Yours?"
"Oswald. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit."
*PUNCH!*
"I came here to tell you all my feelings. I know you all like me and to be honest, I think I was falling in love with all of you. I don't know how relationships work or if any of you would give me a chance to figure it out with you. I'm sure I'll make mistakes... but if you would like.. I would like to make you all happy. I understand if you say no. It's not an easy thing I'm asking if you."
"I'm sure we would be happy to. Well I would."
*PUNCH!*
"Donald Duck."
"Name's Goofy."
"Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, at your service."
"Y/n L/n. What did you expect?"
"I'm Sora."
"All for one, one for all."
*PUNCH!*
"Y/n."Sora and Kairi looked over at you as your hands started to bleed. "Hey, Y/n, stop." You didn't listen as they saw the blue aura around you. "Y/N! Calm down!"
One eyes was yellow while the other was green. You kept punching the pillar until someone caught your fist. You looked at Beast who caught your fist but was hurt badly. You looked at his wounds. "You shouldn't have done that... you can barley move."
"What have you two come here for?" Beast asked you two as he stumbled forward. "I came here to fight... even if I am alone, I will protect Belle!"
Sora and you went wide eyed. Through all the pain he's taken, he still has the energy to keep going. Sora stood up and took the wooden sword. She then took your hand and pulled you to her side. "Me too. I'm not gonna give up now. We came here to find someone very important to us." She looked at you with a little worry. She only had a wooden stick in the base of the Heartless. She squeezed your hand. "For Kairi."
You smiled and kissed her cheek. She smiled and her worry went away. You squeezed her hand back. "For Kairi."
You look at a rising platform and see Beast get on a rising platform as the two of you follow. You then get to an empty arc when suddenly a light shined down and an elevator platform appeared. "Is this the only way?"
Beast immediately hopped on as you were hesitant. "It's safe. I promise you."
Beast said as you swallowed your fear and hopped onto the platform. It brought you to the castle and you were immediately attacked by Heartless. You summoned your keyblade and attacked the head heartless. You slid under the floating head and sliced it upwards. While you stabbed it, you casted aeroga as all the heartless went into the air. You then were about to cast Firaga but Beast leaped up to the Heartless and sliced them all down.
"Y/n, I think it's this way." Sora pointed off the edge of the castle. Beast looked worried. You summoned your keyblade and it kept pointing to where Sora was. You sighed and brought them all together. You all jumped off the edge and you used Waterga to slow your descent and prevent damage. You got to another water platform. "Wow! Water magic really saved our skin! I wonder if I can learn it."
"Probably." You say, when more Heartless appear. Sora gets behind you and Beast a bit as you quickly get an idea. You point the keyblade towards the ground and raise it upwards casting Bilzzaga, making a wall of ice. Beast hopped into a bubble in the air. "Hey! Wait!"
The two of you followed him. Meanwhile, the seven Princess were seen as Kairi lays in a capsule. Maleficent smiled and extended her arms outwards. "Come princess! Reveal the final keyhole!"
"Hey! Wait a minute!" Donald shouted to Riku as they are shown in the hall. Riku turned her head towards them.
"You're the ones who decided to tag along. It's because I'm the keybearer, right?" She scoffed at them and kept waking. Oswald noticed something as Donald was furious.
"What's with her attitude?! It's infuriating!!!" He shout as Oswald spoke up.
"Something's not right here... she looks..." Oswald said as Riku is seen breathing heavily as she walked down the hall. "She looks like she's in pain."
You, Sora, and Beast are seen destroying the Heartless fighting the Heartless, even Sora with her stick. You eventually arrived at a door and Sora looked in worry. "Dead end?!"
"Move!" Beast said as he broke the door down. You and Sora looked in shock. "Let's go."
"He keeps doing that." Sora says as you scratched your head.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to that." You say as you both walk to the side of Beast.
"Be on your guard. They're close, I can it. Are you ready for them?" Beast asked you both but the two were already walking forward. Beast smiled but then noticed something behind him. "Belle! It's a good thing that you're alright..." Half of Belle's face turned into a shadow, before all of it. The shadow ran away as Beast looked and anger and ran after it. "NOOOOO!!"
"Beast!!" You shouted as a dark voice suddenly was heard.
"Why didn't you go back?" Riku said as Donald and Goody stood behind her. Sora glared at her.
"Riku! What have you done?!" She said as Riku glared at her.
"Sorry for interrupting your little adventure game. But this is not a child's playground. GET OUT!" She shouted as you both stood firm.
"We're here to see Kairi." Sora said as Riku gritted her teeth and looked at you.
"The darkness will consume you!" She said as you shook your head.
"That's wrong, Riku. The darkness may destroy my body, but it can't touch my heart. Our heart will stay with our friends and family, it'll never die!" You shouted as Riku scoffed. She raised her hand towards you... and not Sora.
"Do you want to be destroyed by the darkness?" She said as a shadow covered her eyes. A hint of yellow shined through, nevertheless, you stood your ground.
"Riku... we've come to save Kairi." You say and she immediately casts a mega dark ball of destruction at you.
"YOU DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF POWER!" She shouted as the ball got closer. You summoned your keyblade to block it but before you could, Goofy and Oswald came out of nowhere and blocked the attack.
"Please... would you spare these two?" Goofy and Oswald both said as Donald looked worried.
"Goofy! Oswald! Get back here!!" He shouted as Riku squinted her eyes with a deadly glare.
"The one you need to follow is me! Have you forgotten the king's orders...?" Riku said as Goofy shook his head.
"But Sora and Y/n are our friends. I can't pretend to not see anything! So Donald... please apologize to his majesty for me. Because I'm going with Sora and Y/n!" Goofy declared as he looked at Donald.
"I've saw this kid when he was young and walked this whole journey with him." Oswald said as he looked at you. "He's saved me through thick and thin. He's never given up on me. How can I call myself a keyblade master if I can't do the same for my student?"
"Os..." You say with a smile.
"GOOFY! OSWALD!" Donald shouted out as Goofy shook his head.
"You go on and follow the keybearer!" Goofy said as Donald was livid.
"WAIT A MINUTE! YOU'RE NOT BEING FAIR!" Donald shouted as he stomped in front of you two with his head down. "I-I'm also Y/n's and Sora's friend! I can't abandon them again!"
"Guys..." Sora says with a Riku gives off a deadly glare, but it doesn't even look like her anymore. "Riku... what you have is not power. True power... lies in what causes one to care about others... the heart! As long as my friends and family think of me... our hearts will be one!" Her wooden sword turned into her keyblade. Riku looked in disbelief. "My friends are my power!!!"
Riku's eyes started shaking as she summoned her keyblade unconsciously. Another voice rang in her head, but she spoke his words. "Hmm.. Sora? What use can that weak keyblade be? WHAT CAN THAT THING PROTECT?"
She waved her keyblade and a dark mist covered the area and blinded you all. You quickly sliced through the mist to see Riku had disappeared. Riku grabbed her chest breathing heavily gain. "Damn it! What's wrong with me?! I tried to kill them! Y/n, Sora,... it feels as if I'm about to be flattened!"
"Open your heart to darkness." A goddess figure appeared behind her. "Walking bravely into the darkness... you have guts! Abandon your confusion, walk deeper into the darkness." Riku's heart started beating rapidly and her eyes shook. "Give your heart directly... embrace the darkness!"
"WHY?!" Maleficent shouted out. "The princesses of heart have already been captured. Why didn't the key gate open?!"
"Because this girl lost her heart." A voice called out to her and she turned to the figure. It was Riku but her voice was overlapped with a man's. Riku had an incomplete keyblade. "This is the power of the crystallization of all the princesses. The key gate which leads to darkness, will flood the whole world if it opens."
"Who cares. We're only going to use that power to rule the world. I will not be swallowed by darkness. Hmm?" Maleficent paused after hearing footsteps. "The king's fools are here. I'll deal with them myself. Maybe I'll destroy that keyblade master's son first. Or maybe the so called lucky rabbit."
You all are seen running down a passage with green touches at the side. Oswald looked at the group. "Hold on."
"Hmm? What is it, Os?" You asked as Maleficent suddenly appeared ahead of you.
"I'm afraid you're too late. Any moment now, the final keyhole will be unsealed. This world will be plunged into darkness. It's unstoppable!" She said as everyone already had their weapons out.
"I wouldn't place your bets just yet!" You shout as you swing your keyblade into reverse grip.
"That's right, after coming this far, there's no way we're gonna let that happen!" Sora shouted as Maleficent glared at you all.
"You poor, simple fools. You think you can defeat me?! Me, the mistress of all evil!?" Her platform as raised and you immediately casted Graviga to bring it down. You then realized how tall she is but focused more on beating her up. You kicked her legs as she stumbled a bit. You then hopped away as Donald casted Thunder in an attempt to break the ground. Sora and Goofy hopped up to Maleficent and attacked her. Goofy span around with his shield on his arms, hitting the self proclaimed mistress of every several times. After he was done, he boosted up Sora with her shield and Sora got ready to use a point blank Bizzara to the face. Maleficent turned into a green flame before she could.
"It can never be easy, can it?" Sora says as Maleficent summons Heartless to get in your way. The big floating heartless try to attack you as you smirk at Donald.
"Look Donald, she's learning!" You shout as you force some heartless to the ground using Graviga. She glared at you while she uses Bilzzaga and froze some of the heartless. She leaped in the air and slammed the heartless on the ground destroying it. Donald had a tear in his eye.
"I'm so proud of her."
"Enough of that. Focus on the more important things!" Sora shouted at you two as she got rid of the heartless with Fira. Black lighting shot up from the ground near you were, luckily you dodged it and slid away from it. Maleficent smirked at you.
"It appears you share some of 'her' traits, but you are much more... fragile." She said as you gritted your teeth and ran you her and her platform.
"I'm tired of being called that!!" You say as you raise your keyblade above your head. You bring it down as Maleficent raised her staff to block it. The clash was pure back and forth with you pushing, and Maleficent repelling the force you brought. Your might wasn't enough and she hit you back off the platform. Soon the area around her turned into space with stars and soon, meteors came flying out towards the group. "I'm getting real tired of seeing meteors in my life."
You dodged them, but just barley. You leap over one and slid underneath one. Donald and Sora got hit but walked it off as Oswald approached Maleficent. He threw his keyblade at her and Maleficent span her staff in front of her body to block the attack. You slid around the platform and attacked her in the back and casted Ragnarok. The beams hit her in the back as she turned into green flame again. She summoned shield heartless as Donald casted Thunder to hit them all over. You jumped in mid air three times because of tripleflight and pointed the keyblade at Malefiecent. She glared up at you as you quickly extend your keyblade at her and wrapped the end around her staff. As you were distracting her, Sora threw the keyblade at Maleficent's head. The keyblade hit her head and bounced off her head. Sora then leaped in the air, grabbed the keyblade, and twisted her arms and sliced down Maleficent.
"GAH! Why you little-?!" Maleficent said as Sora hopped back so Goofy's flying shield wouldn't help her. You slide forward as Goofy's shield hit Maleficent. You leaped in the air with your keyblade in reverse grip. You then sliced all around Maleficent before kicking her off the platform. "You cursed brats!"
"The only cursed one here is you! Thinner!" Oswald shouted as he sprayed green pain on the heartless which melted them down into nothing. You hopped in the air and casted Aeroga to make all the Heartless come together. Oswald used Thinner on the heartless and all that's left was Maleficent. Sora ran to Maleficent, who in turn summoned more meteors. Maleficent sent heartless at Goofy and Donald while you dodge the fireballs she sent at you and Oswald. How's you do that? Simple answer, super glide. Sora dodged the first meteor only for another one to approach her. She hopped over it with her high jump and quickly landed on the ground. Another meteor was at her face but Sora sliced through the meteor and kept running towards Maleficent. You dodged the first fireball and dived past the second. Oswald summoned his keyblades and swarmed them around you. The keyblades then launched you forwards at Maleficent. She saw this and fired more fireballs at you, but it was useless. You sliced through them all and approached her.
You and Sora readied your keyblades and sliced through Maleficent. She stumbled back and quickly made a portal behind her. You glared at her with a smirk. "Who the fragile one now!"
"Come on, Y/n! You can brag all you want after we catch her!" Sora said as she ran into the portal with no hesitation. Everyone else ran after her as you were the only one sprinting. Maleficent is limping in an area with large thorns. Riku steps out of the portal with his new bodysuit.
"Do you need some help?" Riku asked cockily.
"Riku!" Sora shouted as Riku turned around with his keyblade. "Is that-?"
"Yes. A keyblade. But unlike yours, this keyblade holds the power to unlock people's hearts." Riku said as she turned towards Maleficent. "Allow me to demonstrate...BEHOLD!" She stabbed Maleficent in the chest as Maleficent was in disbelief. "Now, open your heart, surrender it to the darkness! Become darkness itself!"
"Riku stop!!!" You shouted as Riku seems to look at you in pain. It was like... a cry for help. And you saw it. Before you could do anything, Riku disappeared in a portal. Maleficent smiled at her power, the power coursing through her body. A green aura appeared around her.
"Yes, this is it! My power! Darkness... The true darkness!!!" She says as she transformed into her dragon form. You looked in shock and everyone stepped back a little. Maleficent raised her body and slammed it on the platform sending out two waves of flames. You used glide yo dodge both but Donald got hit it twice. He saw getting dizzy but was out of it when Maleficent slammed her tail on the ground, causing another wave. You barely had time to think as she turned her head towards you and breathed fire. You used tripleflight to quickly maunver upwards but Maleficent simply tilted her head up. Before she could hit you, Sora slid under her and sliced her chest. Maleficent turned her head underneath her and breathed fire. Goofy quickly saved her by using his shield as a barrier. Sora looked at Goofy.
"Thanks!" She said as Goofy nodded. Malefiecent then took multiple steps sending out waves of energy and darkness coming to attack you all. Goofy could only block so many waves before they were sent back. You fell onto Oswald's keyblades he flew in the sky.
"What's the plan?" Oswald asked you as you summoned your yellow eyes and just looked at him before jumping off. You got on the hydra's back-oops! You got on the dragon's back and went to slice the wings. Maleficent growled and span around, knocking out Goofy with her tail. Sora was saved by Oswald, who scooped her up and put her on Maleficent's back. You figured Firaga wouldn't do anything to her so you casted Bilzzaga at her wings. She couldn't rise in the air as Sora began to hit her face as you and Oswald attacked her wings. You used a keyblade kick and did heavy damage to her wings. "Nice plan..."
"It's a work in progress!" You shouted as you fell off the back. You landed in Sora's arms as she smirked at you. "Don't say it-"
"Looks like your falling for me all over again." She said as you groan. Maleficent breathed fire at you but you quickly activated your green eyes and raised your hand. A green honeycomb forcefield summoned in front of you before it countered the fire, it sliced Maleficent before she lit the platform on fire. You quickly healed everyone with Cura. Oswald quickly surrounded himself with his keyblades and drilled at Maleficent, finishing her off. Maleficent's whole body disappeared and Riku re-emerged.
"How pitiful and how ironic. She was just another puppet after all." Riku said as you were confused and trying to catch your breath.
"What?" You asked as Riku smirked.
"The Heartless were using Maleficent from the beginning. She failed to notice the darkness in her heart eating away at her." Riku said as she stomped on the remains of ash as a tear left her eye. Riku(?) wiped it off and chuckled. "A fitting end for such a fool."
Riku stepped in the portal but her hand reached out to you. Riku(?) pulled back her hand and you immediately sprinting into the portal as Goofy looked at everyone. "So, next we have to lock the keyhole, then everything's done?"
"Wait, Goofy!" Oswald shouted as you all made it to the lift stop. You saw Kairi and rushed towards her.
"Kairi! Kai! Wake up! Come on! Please!" You shouted as Spirit Kairi looked at you in worry and sadness.
"She cannot awaken. The girl has lost her heart." Riku said as you glared and gritted your teeth. You summoned your keyblade.
"You're not Riku! Who are you!" You shouted at her. She leaped down from the keyhole holder.
"It is I, Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness." Ansem said as Goofy, Oswald, and Donald all looked looked in worry and confusion.
"Ansem?! Ah! It's Ansem from the reports?!" They said as Sora gritted her teeth.
"I don't care who he is! Give Riku's heart!" Sora shouted as Ansem put his hand out and snapped. Sora's heart started thumping and she fell onto her knees. "What's... happening...!?"
"Then you return that heart too..." Ansem said as you stood in front of Sora.
"What...?!" Sora asked as Ansem scoffed at her.
"Kairi's heart, which is dormant inside your body. Without the princess's heart, the keyhole or key gate, rather, can't be completed." Ansem said as You walked towards Answm.
"You can forget about that! We're not giving anything to you of all people!" You shout as Donald, Goofy and Oswald are all blocked off unknowingly. Ansem smirked at you.
"Then, old friend... you can disappear!!" He shouted as the keyhole started to shake and crack.
"The keyhole!?" You shouted as Oswald pointed to it.
"Seal it, quick!" He shouted and you and Sora both pointed your keyblades at it, but nothing happened. "Wha-?!"
"The keyblade isn't reacting?!" Sora shouted as Ansem nodded.
"Because the keyhole is still incomplete. You both will likely lose control if you leave it aside carelessly. Anything's fine, since the world will be consumed by darkness." Ansem said as Sora fell back on her knees. You steadied the keyblade in your hand. "Y/n, I'm truly sorry that it had to come to this."
"Wha-?!" You say but then felt a gust of wind pass you. You feel a small pain in your stomach, it might have been your chest. But then the pain got larger and larger. You tried to breathe but, you couldn't get any air in.
"Y/n...Y/N!!!!" You heard Sora scream in anguish and worry. Kairi looked at you with tears coming down from her face as her hand covering her mouth. Tinkerbell flew towards you but Ansem threw her out the barrier and Donald caught her. Riku looked at her hands, unable to control her body, but can still witness what Ansem's had done.
"Y/n...oh god...!" Kairi muttered out.
"Y/N! Y/NNNNNNN!!!" Donald, Goofy and Oswald was enraged and worried and tried to get inside the barrier but it was useless. Riku was crying as tears ran down on the outside. You couldn't understand why everyone was freaking out. But you felt yourself losing power, you dropped your keyblade as it shattered into tiny sliver broken crowns. You fell to your knees as Sora tried to reach for you. Ventus looked at you in the same amount of worry and fear. You looked at your hands to see they were shaking. You look at your chest to see Riku's keyblade straight through it.
You couldn't speak. You couldn't reassure the group you were fine like always, you couldn't move. Your eyes shined green and yellow, as if in some attempt make something better, but it didn't work. You were too far inside the building for anything to happen. Your eyes held pure fear and worry, more than you've ever felt before. Your body shook as tears started forming in your eyes. Ansem stood up and walked towards him. Kairi looked in anger at Ansem. "DON'T TOUCH HIM! STAY AWAY!"
Ansem ignored the girl and gently closed your eyes. He then grabbed your head lightly... and pushed you back into Kairi's arms. Kairi and Sora tried to catch you but you... shattered in their arms... a golden yellow heart rose into the air.... before it disappeared. Sora and everyone cried out to you, reaching towards the fleeting heart. "Y/NNNNNNNNNNN!!!!"

"!?" Two women at a bar look up from their drink and their faces turn into one of fear and worry.
"What is this feeling?" The black haired woman asked. The brown haired woman looked at her.
"You feel it too? This feeling in our hearts...Could it be...?" She asked as they both look to the ceiling.

"?!" Aqua got a sense of dread in her heart. She gripped her shirt as her breathing became a little staggered. "What is this feeling? This sense of worry and fear... but not for myself. ...Y/n?"

"...?" Terranort looked up at the sky, as of something was calling to him. Someone. "This...feeling..."

"?!" A blond haired man looked up at the sky. "This feeling in my heart... what is this...?"
"Hmmm? Hey! Come on!" A black haired man shouted to the blond man. The blond shook it off and caught up to him.
"Wait, Zach! Something... something's wrong..."

"Now, it's time." Ansem said as everyone was in tears. Sora still couldn't move and remembered all the times you spent together. "Open the door, lead me into the everlasting darkness!"
"I'm Y/n, and you three are...?" Y/n asked the three girls in front of him. He stares into Sora's eyes.
"I'm Sora! This cool girl is Riku, and the shorty is Kairi!" She says. The scene switched to you and Sora dueling as kids.
"How come you're so strong?" You asked her as she smiled.
"Well, knowing that you're watching me, gives me all the strength I need." She says as you both go back to playing again. The scene transitions to you and she doing homework in her room.
"Main, this sucks! The islands are so much better than homework!" You complained as Sora giggled.
"Well, let's just hurry and get this done then. Maybe I'll do the work for the raft this time." She says as you immediately hopped up.
"Alright! I'm all fueled up!" You say as you both chuckled with blushes. The scene transitions to you and her meeting up at Traverse Town and she grabbed your face.
"You're okay! You're okay! I'm so glad!" She said with tears in her eyes. "When you got swept away, I was sure that you..."
"Hey." You looked at her with your signature smile and kiss her cheek. She blushed greatly. "I'm okay. We're okay."
The scene then transitioned to you looking over at Sora earlier before you went to bed before arriving at Hallow Bastion. You brushed her hair to the side, allowing you to see the full beauty that she had. She was pretending to be asleep. You kissed her lips and looked at her as she opened her eyes and pulled you into the bed. She booped your nose before you chuckled. You stared lovingly into her eyes. "I love you, Sora."
"I love you too, Y/n. Always." She said as the flashback ends with Ansem raising the keyblade above his head. Sora wasn't paying attention as a voice called out to her in her head. It was Y/n. "SORA!"
Sora quickly summoned her keyblade above her head and blocked the strike. She looked at Ansem with hate in her eyes past the tears. Half of her face was covered in shadow, like a heartless. "I'll never forgive you! Never!"
Sora and Ansem's battle started. Oswald is seen banging on the barrier with his bare fists, similar to how he was before he was taken by Kingdom Hearts. A heartless was formed on Destiny Islands. It had a black wayfinder around its neck. The heartless looked around before it noticed the broken area, the land shrouded in darkness. Pain. It was unknown to the heartless, it shouldn't feel pain anyway. The shadow walked and walked until it went to the shore. It's antennas breezed in the cold wind. The air wasn't dry but rather refreshing. The shadow looked at the water before it quickly backed away from the small wave. It took a step towards the wave when it went back into the ocean but quickly ran away when it noticed it was building up into a bigger wave.
"Y...Y/.....Y.... N..."
The heartless turned towards the ocean again and walked on top of it. The wave soon came and washed over the heartless. It went stumbling in the water but it soon appeared in a different area. It appeared in the waterway of Traverse Town. It looked at the broken bars and quickly walked around. It noticed some puppies trying to find their way home. It walked up to them but the puppies weren't scared of this heartless for some reason. Instead they licked it and circled around it happy, playing with it. The heartless didn't seem like it wanted to attack either. One of the puppies went under the heartless and lifted it up on their back. The puppies then took the heartless to their mother and father who examined the heartless very carefully. The father was growling at the heartless and stopped when the mother said to. The mother looked at the heartless and licked its face.
"I.... wo...give you! Never!"
The heartless seemed to have enough of the puppy time and seemed to be focused at the stars. All the puppies looked at the stars, in some level of understanding, the puppy brought the heartless to the gate doors. Aerith looked at the heartless and was about to take it out, but then she saw the wayfinder glow and saw the heartless waving bye at her. Aerith eyes went wide and in shock. "It... it can't be...!?"
"!... co...on! I'll... you!"
The heartless went through door and found itself in the lobby of the Olympus Coliseum. The heartless saw a Boulder that needed moving and pushed it away, revealing a keyhole. The wayfinder shined and locked the keyhole. The heartless went into the area and found Hercules going off against Cloud. The heartless sat in the stands as everyone was a little confused about the random heartless not attacking anyone. But the heartless was more focused on the blue aura surrounding Cloud as he attacked Hercules. Cloud defeated Hercules and looked up to see the heartless. They stared at each other before the heartless waved and simply got up. The wayfinder glowed again.
"All for on... one...all..!"
The heartless pushed the lobby doors open and found itself outside a tent. Jane looked at the Heartless is fear but Tarzan approached the heartless. The heartless crooked it's head up to look at the strong man. Tarzan pointed to the heartless's chest. "Lost, heart, but, still, caring."
"World... time... say..."
The heartless tilted its head in a cute way before pointing to its chest. It saw the wayfinder and held it in the small hands. Tarzan picked up the heartless and put it on his shoulders. Jane looked in shock. "Tarzan, what are you-?"
"Clouded... thi...what....help..."
"Jane, trust me." He said as Jane looked worried but still trusted Tarzan. They walked to the heart of the jungle. The heartless hopped off Tarzan's shoulder and approached the tree. It touched the tree as a bunch of blue butterflies surrounded the heartless. The wayfinder glowed once again. When the butterflies scattered, the heartless found itself in Wonderland.
"I don't...help...don't need...you..."
"So it seems the Star King has fallen." Cheshire Cat said as the heartless looked up at him. The wayfinder glowed as it shined brighter than before."But hope is not lost yet. If you play your cards right, you may discover that your heart isn't lost. Find the pieces to fill your heart with memories and love to get back what you call a heart."
"Aqua...! Ven.... protect..."
The heartless looked up and walked away. It kept walking away into the court. It looked at the cage and the card soldiers. It then saw a bright light in the cage and decided to step into it. The cage went up higher and higher until the cage opened and the heartless was taken to Agrabah. It saw Aladdin sulking and decided to do something about it. It slid down a pole and grabbed an apple. It then waddled towards the pole but realized... that it couldn't get back up. It saw a light door to the right and walked through it. The heartless fell through Aladdin's ceiling as Aladdin quickly noticed and caught the heartless.
"Cold... I'm....no...ti...eh..."
"Woah! Carful little guy!" It rested in his arms as he looked at the heartless in curiosity. The heartless then pushed the apple to Aladdin. "Is this... for me?" The heartless nodded as Aladdin took the apple and bit it. "Its delicious!"
"I'm...Sor...Rik...Kai...!"
The wayfinder glowed and the heartless jumped out of Aladdin's arms and hopped in the small pond outside. The heartless fell deeper and deeper until it saw Triton's palace. Ariel looked at the Heartless and the wayfinder. "Y/n...?"
"Onl...the...you... hello...."
Ariel quickly grabbed the heartless and quickly swam to the castle. Triton looked at the speed Ariel was moving. "Whoa, whoa. Slow down, you might send Sebastian in a whirlpool."
"My... you're...be...handful..."
"Dad! It's Y/n!" She said and raised the heartless at her father. The heartless put its hand out for a shake as Triton couldn't sense any malicious intent. He picked up the heartless and examined it. The wayfinder glowed and Tiriton noticed this.
"Care...for...you...all..."
"Interesting, I didn't know that you could be turned into a heartless. Let me try to fix this." He said. He pointed the trident to heartless to try and use some magic. The beam hit the heartless but nothing happened. Triton shook his head and brought them to Ariel's grotto. The heartless then decided to swim upwards. Ariel tried going after it but Triton shook his head. "He needs to complete his journey."
"I'm trust..love and grief..."
The heartless swam up and appears in a fountain in Halloween Town. It looked around but was suddenly picked up by Lock. "Look at this guy, thinking he can take us on."
"You...give...chances...to make you all...happy."
Lock, Shock, and Barrel all got scared when the heartless suddenly grew and tried to squish them. They all ran away screaming as the heartless went back to its cute self. It waddled until it reached the hill and started at the moon. The wayfinder glowed and the heartless reached its hand towards it as the moon covered its view. Soon, a tree is seen in the moon as the heartless turned around. They found itself in Neverland. Peter Pan was flying around until he saw the heartless with the wayfinder. He stopped and flew towards that heartless with a glare.
"Kai! Ti...wak...up... love..."
"How'd you get one of those!? Tell me!" Peter shouted as the heartless waved him away with a flick of his wrist. Peter span in the air backwards and the wayfinder glowed again. When Pan looked back at the space, the heartless was gone. The heartless was seen walking in Neverland before the trees turned purple and the land turned into gravel.
"See...get...back...Mo..."
Aqua is seen walking with a look of dread on her face when suddenly a heartless popped up in front of her. She was taken off guard was too late to block the strike, the wayfinder heartless blocked the attack and destroyed the attacking heartless. She looked at the heartless confused. "A heartless? Attacking other heartless?"
"Did...forget...about...me...?"
The heartless grew into a body. It was the same hight as Sora. But then decided to grow a little bit taller and faced Aqua. Aqua's eyes went wide after she saw the black wayfinder. "No...nononononono!"
"I would never forget about my son!"
Aqua rushed to the heartless and held its shoulders. She shook it as it was unsure that to do. Aqua shook her head with tears and gripped onto the heartless's arms. "Nononono! Not you too... please."
"I love you, mom!"
The heartless got the urge to wrap its arms around Aqua, and so it did just that. Aqua looked up at the heartless as the heartless's face gained a soft smile and expression. Aqua smiled a little and the heartless rested its hand on her head. The wayfinder glowed and the heartless began to speak. "I...have...to...go...away...for... a... while."
"Why are you crying?"
Aqua looked shocked as she remembered what she told Y/n. The heartless held her head against its chest before it fades away. Aqua looked at the fading pieces but up ahead she saw Terra and Ventus. She quickly rushed for them as the heartless ended up outside the castle of Hollow Bastion reverting back into the small form. Sora is seen looking Ansem's keyblade as Riku fades away before picking up the keyblade.
"SORA!" Goofy shouted at her.
"It can't be...!! STOP!!" Oswald added.
"WAIT!!!" Donald shouted as well but it was too late. Sora smiled at them.
"As long as the three of you are around, there'll be a way..." Sora said as she plunged the keyblade into her chest and fell backwards. The hearts went back into the owners.
"SORA!!!" Everyone went rushing towards her as Kairi's heart returned to her and rushed towards Sora.
"Kairi...Riku... Y/n.... I'm sorry..." Sora thought before she disappeared in Kairi's hands. Kairi looked up in sadness and fear. She was all alone, she had just watched all of her friends die... she was the last one.
"UWAH! SORA! SORA! Y/N!!! COME BACK TO US!!" Donald shouted as Oswald fell to the ground in disbelief.
"You're kidding us... how...can you just leave us...?" Oswald sounded very emotional as Kairi looked at the sparks of light behind.
"I can always... feel Y/n... I came feel him right now! Right, Y/n?" Kairi thought as Sora is seen in a black void.
"What's... happening to... me? This has happened before, too...Is this... what Y/n went through? Will I too... disappear into the darkness?" Sora questioned as Kairi is seen looking at the ceiling.
"Are you two really gone-? No! They can't be! I won't let them go!" She said as a figure appeared before them all.
"So you have awakened at last, princess." Ansem said. "The Keyhole is now complete. You have served your purpose. But now it's over."
Ansem approached as Goofy looked in worry. "Uh oh, is this...?"
"Y-Yeah... A-Ansem..?!" Donald said as Kairi looked in anger and fear at Ansem.
"Not one more step, bastard!" Oswald shouted as Donald and Goofy got out their weapons too.
"Do you think we can stop him all by ourselves?" Goofy asked as Donald looked down.
"I don't know... but I know one thing, for Y/n and Sora, I'm going to protect Kairi!" Donald shouted as Ansem's body started shaking.
"Impossible-!" Ansem said as Riku appeared in front of him.
"Don't think that you came just freely make use of my body, you monster!" Riku shouted as she looked in tears at Kairi. "Hurry, run away! The heartless are coming!!"
The keyhole started seeping out darkness as the heartless started to appear. Riku was losing her grip and Oswald quickly grabbed Kairi's wrist. "Kairi! We gotta go!"
"But.. RIKU!" She shouted as Ansem spoke to Riku.
"Didn't you think about the remaining rebellious hearts? Nevertheless, there's already no way for you to recover. Return to the darkness!" Ansem said as Riku lost hold and faded away again. Kairi looked back at her friend in worry.
"Riku..."
"KAIRI, HURRY!!!" Donald shouted as Kairi turned around in tears and ran forward.
"Y/n...! Sora...!" She prayed for the two to return as Ansem smiled at the keyhole.
"Everything has finally returned to the darkness..." Ansem said. But noticed a heartless with a wayfinder around its neck. "Hmm?"
"Y/N!!!! You're alive!" Riku shouted from inside Ansem's soul and the wayfinder glowed. The heartless went back to the Gummi ship, away from everyone else.
Beast saw the darkness entering the halls. "This is...!?"
"What are we going to do now?!" Goofy asked while they ran. Oswald shook his head.
"I can't close it. I had to be Sora's keyblade but..." Oswald said as everyone was silent.
"Listen! We must get to the Gummi ship first before we figure anything else out!" Donald shouted as Kairi was worried.
"What's going to happen to this world?!" She asked but everyone stayed silent. They sudden turned around to see a heartless had followed them. "Heartless?"
"It ran after us?!" Donald shouted as the heartless trembled a little. Kairi looked at it.
"...Sora?" Kairi said as everyone's eyes went wide.
"Huh-?! What?!" They shouted but soon were surrounded by heartless. They all were split up by the heartless in order to get to Kairi. "Oh no! Kairi!"
"This time, I'll protect you the best I can!" Kairi said as the heartless leaped at her but Kairi hugged the heartless. A bright light shined out and Sora re-emerged. "Sora!"
"SORA!" The rest shouted as more heartless appeared. Beast came with a mighty roar and destroyed the heartless.
"Go!!" Beast shouted as Sora looked at him.
"Come with us!" She asked as Beast shook her head.
"I told you before, I'm not leaving without Belle. Now, go! The Heartless are coming!" Beast said as Sora looked down and clenched her fist.
"...All right. Let's get out of here..." Sora said as they ran out and back to the Gummi ship. Waiting in there was a heartless. Donald glared at it and grabbed his staff.
"Not another one! This time I'll-!"
"Wait!" Sora shouted as she pointed to the wayfinder around its neck. "...Y/n!"
"It's really him!" Kairi said as she scooped up the heartless and looked at everyone. "What's the plan now?!"
"We need to go back to Traverse Town to regroup!" Oswald said as this time, he took the wheel and took off flying. Tinkerbell landed on the heartless's head as the wayfinder flashed again. "Wha-? What is it doing?"
"The heart came back to Y/n, but it's not full..." Kairi said as she looked at the wayfinder. She tried to touch the wayfinder but the heartless backed up. "I'm sorry... may I?" The heartless seems hesitant but then it waddled forward. Kairi touched the wayfinder and saw that it was almost full. "The remaining pieces are..."
The wayfinder glowed as the heartless then approached Oswald. Oswald looked at the eyes of the heartless with a sad look. "Come back to us, Y/n. You're almost there."
The wayfinder glowed again, and the final piece... was Sora. The heartless seemed to hesitate when approaching Sora. It seemed to realize that everyone was there and thought over what had happened. It went into the corner away from everyone. Sora slowly approached it. "Hey, hey, its okay... no ones gonna hurt you."
"Scared... so...afraid... darkness.... scary..." It said in your voice as everyone could hear the fear in your voice. "I don't... want you... to...see me... like this..."
Sora remembered what she said before and smiled. She got onto her knees and looked at the heartless. "You seem to remember everything I say. That means you remember me, Riku, Kairi, Os, and everyone else." She said as the heartless started approaching her. "Getting a closer look at you, you look like a small calf...but..." Sora hugged it and rested her head on top of it. "You came back to me..."
The wayfinder shined bright and blinded everyone. You were shown in a new outfit. You had returned.
"Y/N!!!" Sora and Kairi shout as they rush towards you and hug you. You are taken off guard and balance yourself so you don't fall over.
"Whoa! Hey! Be careful!" You shout as they don't listen and hug you. You sigh as Tinkerbell kisses you all over your face. "Hahahah! Stop, stop, your tickling me!"
"Y/n." Oswald said as you looked at him. He tried to hid the tear marks and smiled at you. "Its good to have you back!"
"I don't remember much, of my time as a heartless. But I remember the worlds and familiar faces...helping me in someway." You said as you turned back to Sora and Kairi. "Helped me come back to you two."
Kairi pulled your face to her lips and kissed you. You sink into the kiss and finally feel her warmth. She backs up from you. "Finally, get to do that."
Sora kissed you on the lips next as she held your hands. Soon the two of you parted. "I'm back, Sora."
"Welcome back." She said with a gentle smile. Tinkerbell took her place in your coat pocket as Goofy looked at you.
"Hey, Y/n! What's up with your clothes?" He asked a very good question. You grabbed the wayfinder that was in pain view around your neck.
"The energy from the wayfinder must have gave me some protection from the darkness, but also from the light." You explained as you looked at the approaching planet. You are seen chatting with the Traverse Town gang. Leon nodded in understanding after you all filled him in.
"So the darkness is flowing out of that keyhole..." Leon said as Aerith sat on the bed.
"No wonder there are more and more heartless everywhere. The only way to stop them is..." Aerith said as Sora held up her Kingdom Key.
"Seal the keyhole, right?" Sora said as Leon stayed quiet for a little bit.
"Maybe. Nobody knows what will happen once it's sealed." Leon said as you looked at him.
"But we can't just stand around here and do nothing. We need to do something. I have someone who's waiting for me to save her." You say to Leon as he nodded.
"That's right. You have one more person to worry about. Riku's keyblade must have been born of the captive princesses' hearts... just like that keyblade you saw." Leon said but then looked at Kairi. "Of course, without Kairi's heart, it remained incomplete. Once that keyblade was destroyed, the princesses' hearts should have been freed. Don't worry, you two. If anyone can save your friend, it's you."
"I thought that the darkness would be stronger... but it felt like someone was holding them back." Aerith said as you thought back... it definitely has to be Riku. "Cid wanted to speak with you and Y/n when your ready."
You looked at the gang. "What are you guys going to do?"
"We'll get everyone up to speed. That should keep us busy." Oswald said as Goofy scratched his head.
"Uh... are you sure, Os? That's a lot." He said as you all chuckled.
"I'm going to go explore the waterway." Kairi said as you grabbed her hand before she walked away. "?"
"That's... well... just be safe." You told her as she pecked you on the lips as a response. Your face turned red as she chuckled and left. "Uh...u-I..."
"Come on, Y/n." Sora shoved you playfully as she went out the door. You shook off the blush.
"Right!" You say as you both see Cid in the first district. You cough at him but he doesn't hear it.
"I don't like this." He says as you looked at him. He was worried about something.
"Cid, we need to head back to Hollow Bastion." You told him as Cid turned around to look at you.
"I don't think I can let you do that, Kid. The Heartless there are multiplying by the minute. They'd eat your ship up." Cid tells you as Sora looked a little depressed.
"The what can we do?" She asked as Cid smirked.
"Simple. Go around 'em instead of through. Install a new navigation Gummi and take a new route." Cid said as you crossed your arms.
"But where are we gonna find one of those?" You asked as Cid thought about it before nodding.
"The secret waterway. When I came here 9 years ago, I stored it there in case I ever needed it." Cid said as he turned around to get back to what he was working on. "Never thought any kids would be the ones to use it!"
You and Sora looked at Cid and chuckled. You looked at Sora. "Hey, I know I scared you earlier, with the whole heartless thing."
"It's...no...I was scared. I really was. I thought you had disappeared again." She said as she took your hand as you both walked to the waterway. "Just like the first time I came to this planet. I was all alone, but this time, I thought you left my life. And I couldn't do anything to help you..."
"I'm okay. We're gonna be okay. This journey is almost over. We'll save Riku, the island, and then go back to how we were before." You said as she smiled at you. She was grateful, for your positive attitude, even though you were dead a couple hours ago. The thought scared her but she tried to think nothing of it... but it was impossible. "Kairi!"
"Hmm?" Kairi turned around to see you. "That was quick. Do you have any clue what that is?"
Kairi pointed to the far wall down the waterway. You gave her an unamused look. "That's a wall."
Sora ran to it and a shining light came down and fell into her arms. "Hey! It's the Gummi!"
"Really?! Anybody could have got that, what was Cid thinking?!" You say as you look at Kairi. "Well, we're ready so we might as well head back. We should rest up while we can."
"A light at the end of the tunnel..." Kairi said as you were confused. Sora seemed to understand it though.
"Oh, your grandma's story, right?" Sora asked as Kairi looked surprised before she smiled with a nod.
"That's right. We were together." She said as you chuckled. Kairi looked at you. "? What's so funny, Y/n?"
"We looked everywhere for you, but it turns out you were with us the whole journey." You says as you smiled at the two. "We're finally together, now we gotta save Riku."
"You think it'll ever be the same again between us? Riku's lost his..." Kairi began to say. Sora looked at her.
"When I turned into a Heartless, you saved me, remember? I was lost in the darkness. I couldn't find my way. As I stumbled through the dark, I started forgetting things...my friends...my love...who I was. The darkness alarmist swallowed me. But then I heard yours and Y/n's voice. That brought me back." Sora said as Kairi held yours and Sora's hands.
"I didn't want to jus forget about you two. I couldn't." Kairi said as you smiled.
"That's what connects us, our hearts. The light from our hearts will always break through the darkness. I've seen that light for myself. No matter how deep the darkness, a light will always shine within. I guess that message is more than just a fairy tale." You say as Kairi smiled.
"Yeah. Let's go and get this done!" Kairi says as you rubbed the back of your head.
"Kairi, you can't come along." You tell her as she raised an eyebrow at you and gave you a stern look.
"Why not?" She said as you looked at Sora for help. She was smirking and crossed her arms at you. She wasn't going to help you... alright then.
"It's way too dangerous. I don't want you getting scared halfway through." You try to make the excuse. She glared at you with a pleasing look.
"If I'm with you, then I won't be scared." She said as you looked at her with a stern look.
"Kai, it's too dangerous!! Without a keyblade or a weapon, you can't help us...I don't want to lose you again...!" You say as she was persistent.
"Didn't we go through many difficulties together before?" She said as Sora started laughing.
"Don't just look!!! Help me!!" You yelled to Sora in your head.
"I want to save Riku, too!" She shouted as you. You smiled at her. "I don't want to lose you either! If I don't go with you, how will I know you're safe?!"
"Our hearts are together. Even if we're apart, we're not alone, right? Plus, I'll always return to you." You tell her as she closed her eyes with a sigh.
"So what you're saying is that I'll be the way, right?" Kairi jokes around. "Then it can't be." She stand on her toes and stole a kiss. Your eyes closed as you could feel the softness of her lips. It was sweet. She soon separated herself from you. You felt something in your hand and Sora got something like you.
Kairi looked at Sora. "Take this Thalassa shells amulet. It's a lucky charm."
"Thanks Kairi!" Sora said as Kairi turned back to you. It was a similar one but it looked more white than Sora's.
"Even if you become a heartless, I will always know you will still be you. Don't forget that I'll always be by your side." You all are seen flying towards Hollow Bastion in the Gummi ship. "Even in the deep darkness, there will still be light... because it's an very important amulet, that's why you must come back and return it to me! Promise?"
"I promise." You said back then and are seen to be looking at the amulet in your room. The amulet shined as another light shined that blinded you. "No way!"
"Another keyblade!" You say as it landed I your hand. You named it: Destiny. You summoned: Forgotten Key. "I can duel wield!!!!"
"Uh... Y/n?" Sora said with a smirk leaning on the door frame.. you paused in embarrassment and got rid of the keyblades.
"Y-Yes?" You asked in a soft tone as Sora pointed her thumb to the cockpit. "We're coming up on the planet." She began to walk away but then looked back in the door frame. "Also that was so cute."
"SORA!!!" You shout in embarrassment as you chase her to the cockpit. Beast is seen looking at the Keyhole.
"The darkness is pouring out!! Will this world disappear like ours?!" Beast asked himself but saw Ansem's smirk as it swallowed him. Beast looked around for Belle.
"Beast!!" Belle called to him as she approached him with the other princess. "The darkness is pouring out from the keyhole!"
"Even though we worked so hard to suppress it..." Snow White said as Jasmine looked in worry.
"But, if It's like this, we... we won't be able to suppress it!!" She shouted as a heartless tried to attack Cinderella. Destiny flew in front of her and you teleported to it. You quickly sliced the heartless in half.
"I'm back!" You say with your signature smile.
"Y/n! I told you not to go on ahead!" Oswald says as the gang shows up. Sora looked at everyone.
"I'm sorry I'm late. How can I let that guy achieve his evil purpose?" Sora said as Alice smiled at the two of you.
"Sora, Y/n, you've arrived! See, Their the keyblade wielders!" Alice said as Jasmine nodded.
"Sora, Y/n, we'll leave it to you! Quickly, the keyhole!" Jasmine said as you all rushed forward. A large behemoth heartless appeared in front of your path.
"Here comes one huge heartless!" Alice said as Cinderella covered her mouth. But suddenly the heartless started to shake.
"You really thought you would be the only ones going!" A familiar voice called out and destroyed the heartless. You look in shock only to see Cid with a machine out. "Hey!!! The beauty-saving hero had arrived!!!!"
The Traverse Town gang were all here as Yuffie looked at Sora and you. "Hey! Quickly lock the keyhole!"
"Right!" You both pointed your keyblade at it and you activated your eyes. The keyhole locked as Leon smiled at you both.
"You both did well." Leon said as the princess hugged you both in a tight hug and smiles on their face. Leon chuckled.
"It's because the princess's power in suppressing the darkness, that's why we made it in time." Sora said but you looked at the gang.
"Why is everyone here?" You asked as Yuffie smiled.
"We came on CID's ship... our homeworld got shattered but there was someone who drives back all the heartless by themself. Midgar wasn't the best place, but it was definitely home. But... this... this is our hometown where we grew up." She explained. So Midgar was still around somewhere. They just don't have a way back there because the worlds are in danger... you could understand that.
"Before, when this world was attacked by darkness, everyone thought; Ansem the Wise, because he wanted to protect everyone, fought to death against the Heartless." Leon said as Aerith handed you the last of the reports. "At that time in reality, it was Ansem who called the darkness..."
"We found the remaining parts of Ansem's report. Because previously, we've only seen a part of the report. That's why we did not discover his true colors." Aerith said as Leon continued.
"While researching the darkness, he was possessed, he lost his heart as well as his body." Leon said as you almost ripped the paper.
"That's why Riku's body was used-?!" You said but cut yourself off. You look at Aerith with your green eyes. "Where did Ansem go?!"
"In the distant space- time, a huge darkness appeared! The darkness that swallowed the universe..." Aurora said as Snow White nodded.
"Yes, this darkness is swallowing the universe! He must be there!" Snow White said as you raised your Destiny Keyblade.
"Okay, let's go! Let's defeat Ansem and the heartless in one go! Then everything will return to normal!" You shouts as the gang nods... well not the Traverse Crew. "What's wrong?"
"Feels kind of lonely, won't it, Cid?" Yuffie says to Cid but he scratched the back of his neck.
"Hey! Don't say silly things. I won't... right?" Cid said as Leon liked sad. Aerith did as well.
"Yes, if the darkness disappears, the universe should return to normal. However, if it returns to normal, it'll be like before. Respectively isolated." Aerith says as Sora looked in sadness as did everyone.
"... in other words, we won't be able to see each other?" Sora asked as Leon nodded.
"I'm afraid so. But, even if were unable to meet again, that doesn't mean everything will be forgotten." Leon said as Yuffie leaned in your face with a smile.
"So lighten up, Y/n! As long as everyone's heart stays together, we will definitely meet again one day!" Yuffie says as you smile.
"Yeah!" You and Sora say as Cid sheds a tear.
"That's why I liked your simple minded personalities." Cid says as you both glare at home
"What did you say?" You both say as everyone laughed. The Gummi ship takes off until... "Is that it?"
You see a large void in space as the void sucks in everything around it. Oswald nodded and flew towards it. "That's it!"
