Hayden POV
I was sitting in the passenger side of the car watching everything pass by so quickly, you know Clint was very vague on where the hell he is taking me,
But at least I get out of the tower for once, He took me out of the tower very early the sun wasn't even up, and were still in the car,
We just left the city about ten minutes ago,
"Your surprisingly quiet over there," Clint said
"I was just wondering if you are taking me to a remote location to get rid of me because going straight for the heart will do perfectly fine," I said being sarcastic
He chuckled
"If that is your way of saying your worried where I'm taking you, you doing have to be your going to love it, I come here every weekend," He began
"And when we have free time," He said
"So it's like your happy place?" I said
He laughed
"Yeah, I guess you could say that," He said after he was done with his laughing fit,
"But bottom line Hayden, you don't have to be worried it's perfectly fine, and most importantly it's safe," He said
"If you say so," I said crossing my arms feeling uncomfortable,
"We will get there in a few hours, it will probably be a little past eight," He said
I finally looked at him, He was concentrating on the road,
There is something bothering me, from the moment I met him he cared, he cared about my wellbeing, about my safety, about my mental state, my anger, why?
Why did he care so much about some teen girl who got dealt a wrong hand in life, did he feel responsible or was it something as simple as he just wanted to help,
Or was it something deeper than that,
You see these feelings I've been getting lately every time Clint, or Nat or one of the avengers look at me, it's something I'm not familiar with, like how you feel about a family member or something,
But again I don't know about any of that, the only thing my parents made sure of, is that I was hurt or in pain,
I looked back out the window not wanting to see him catch me staring at him,
I watched as all the trees passed by in a flash, as we got deeper into the wooded areas, the sun was down, as I was starting to lose focus about to doze off when we finally stopped,
Clint got out, so did I, It was a farm, nothing for miles,
I grabbed my bag, and followed him inside,
"Hello Honey I'm home," Clint said
A woman with dark hair walked over to us,
"You made it," She said kissing Clint,
"Hayden this is my wife Laura, Laura this is Hayden," Clint said
"Umm, uh nice to meet you," I said tripping over my words,
"It's nice to finally meet you," Laura said as she smiled at me,
I was just so dumbstruck by this I didn't even know how to react,
"You two must be tired why don't I show you somewhere you can sleep," She said
I looked at Clint and he nodded,
"Alright," I said following her further into the home,
Clint POV
I smiled as Hayden followed Laura, she was confused I don't blame her after all the avengers were confused after I brought them here as well,
This will be good for Hayden, to find out what Family is really about, I thought
Laura walked to me,
"Do you think she likes me?" She said
"I think she does, it's hard to read Hayden she is a bit closed off give the circumstances," I said kissing her,
She wrapped her arms around me,
"Hopefully we can get her to open up a little bit," She said smiling at me
I nodded smiling at her,
