Soul just looked at the noteand he just looked at Maka for a moment. He didn't know what to do. Even if he has had Kid away from him for a long time which was the time that Lord Death had trapped Kid in their home. But it was Medusa, and he wasn't scare of her but he was scared that Kid was going to be hurt because of him.
Soul: Maka, we have to get Kid back.
Maka: Of course but hold it. Its Medusa. She is really sneaky and she'll probably threaten to hurt Kid while she still has him and we have to come up with a plan first.
Tsubaki: Soul, you can count on us to help you.
Maka: Thanks Tsubaki. Black Star. You better be willing to help because we all know that you don't like Kid as much as we do.
Black Star: Fine I'll help you but only because Tsubaki promised that we would.
Maka: Good.
Lord Death: Before any of you do anything, I'm going to talk Medusa.
Crona: Pardon me Lord Death, but she has your son hostage.....she might try to pull something in front of you and she might hurt Kid.
Lord Death: She won't do anything. She doesn't have enough power to overthrow me. And if she lays one finger on my son, she is going to face the consequences.
Lord Death left the apartment and slammed the door behind him. Soul just looks over the note a second time.
Soul...if you ever wanna see your beloved, bring Maka, and we'll exchange. Have fun finding Kid. Here's a hint...he's in a place that is dark and only one speck can be seen. --Medusa >:p
Soul: We have to make sure that Medusa sees that I brought Maka, but its too risky.
Maka: We're going to be fine, I just wish that I could say the same about Kid.
Soul: Yeah, me too.
With Kid....
Kid: Ow, my head. Where in the world am I?
Kid tries to move but his hands are chained together and he looks at his surroundings.
Kid: Soul!
Medusa creeps behind the cage that Kid has been placed in and she jumps out. Kid falls back on the floor of the cage and he is staring at her with raging eyes.
Kid: Where am I?
Medusa: You should remember this place very much. This is where you were kept when you were a child.
Kid: I don't believe you.
Medusa: I'm not lying. Look to the sides of you, they're your drawings, no?
Kid looked at the sides of the cage and passed the bars and he looked at the cave walls that were covered with white marks...drawings of Lord Death and his wife...Kid's mother.
Kid: You-
Medusa: No. I'm just waiting for your dear beloved Soul to bring me Maka and you'll be free from those chains.
Kid remembered that he had his phone in his pocket. But Medusa smiled.
Medusa: Don't even think about it. I took your phone when you were still unconscious.
Kid: Damn.
Medusa: Speaking of Soul, he's calling you.
Medusa shows Kid his phone and a picture of Soul is on the screen.
Kid: Give me my phone.
Medusa: Let me say a few words to him.
Kid: Soul.
Medusa picks up and she laughs, Soul sounds very angry and Kid is yelling for Soul and Soul can hear him in the background.
Soul: Pass the phone to Kid.
Medusa: That's not going to do that.
Soul: Medusa, you want Maka as much as I want Kid. Just let have a few words with him.
Medusa: You sound convincing, okay I'll allow it.
Medusa hands Kid his phone and he grabs it.
Kid: Soul.
Soul: Kid, she hasn't hurt you has she?
Kid: No. I'm fine. Soul, I'm in a cave....
Medusa couldn't hear what they were talking about, Kid said that he missed Soul and he wanted him close to him.
Soul: Just hang in there. Your dad sorta might be on your way.
Kid: What!
Medusa: What did he say?
Kid: Nothing.
Medusa: You better tell me or-
Kid: It was nothing, I swear. Please.
Medusa: Hurry it up.
Kid: Soul. I have to go.
Soul: I know, I love you.
Kid: I love you too, you idiot. You better not be crying.
Soul: I'm not. I'll see you...when we get the chance.
Kid: Bye.
Kid hangs up on Soul and he smiles...but he's crying. He curled up into a ball and sat at one of the corners of the cage. He is staring at his hands, the hands that were held by Soul, kissed by Soul, and loved by Soul. He closed his eyes and imagined Soul kissing his hands, and hugging him. He missed the scent of bad cologne. He opened his eyes and he tried to stay positive, but his father was on his way.
Kid: Soul, why did this happen to us?
After Kid said that, his father swung open the door and Kid stood up.
Kid: Father!
Lord Death: Kiddo, you'll be out of there in no time.
Kid: Father...where's Soul?
Lord Death: Back with Maka and the others.
Kid: How is he?
Lord Death: Worried.
Medusa: Family reunion, good day Lord Death.
Lord Death: What do you want with my son?
Medusa: All I really want is that very talented meister, Maka Albarn, Spirit's daughter.
Lord Death: What do you want her for?
Medusa: Crona seems to be very "attached" to her and I want Crona to come back to me. And I believe Maka is the only way that that is going to happen.
Lord Death: I have Crona at her apartment, I'll bring Crona over.
Medusa: No, I want Maka.
Lord Death: You said that you want Crona back, and I'll bring you Crona but leave Maka out of this because that Soul boy is suffering enough with no keeping my son safe.
Medusa: Who says I care about Soul suffering? He is suffering because of that blood that was infused with his own when he went against Crona by protecting Maka. That's why Maka can't stand to see Soul down in a battle.
Medusa tosses Kid his phone and says to call Soul to say that her demands have been changed.
Kid: Soul.
Soul: Kid, what's up?
Kid: My father got her, and he got Medusa to change her mind.
Soul: She's going to let you go?
Kid: Its not that easy. She doesn;t want Maka anymore, she wants Crona.
Soul: Crona?
Soul doesn't hear Kid's voice fod a couple of minutes and then he hears a scream.
Soul: Kid!!!
Kid: Father!!!
Soul: What happpened?
Kid: Medusa knocked him out and- no please!!!
The phone call cuts off and Soul sits there.
Soul: Kid. Kid?!
What in the heck is going to happen to these two???
