He Yan's name appeared on the registration form. The date was a day after the incident had occurred.

Yu Xi continued to speak, "The second book records everyone who has checked in at the hotel this year. I looked into it and it seems as though He Yan hasn't stayed in this hotel this year at all."

Thus, Jian Yiling turned around and looked at Zhai Yunsheng who was leaning on the sofa and asked, "Why did you investigate these things?"
Although her voice sounded soft, her tone was firm and serious.

"I'll go ask the housekeeper." Yu Xi replied hastily. Immediately after, Yu Xi called for the housekeeper and asked him to take Jian Yiling to rest in a guest room.
Yu Xi stayed behind and sat down beside Zhai Yunsheng. Out of curiosity, he asked:
"Master Sheng, I'm quite puzzled. Why are you helping the little girl so much? You even cared about whether or not she was tired."
"She looks like a pet I raised."
Master Sheng had a pet?
Yu Xi took a while time to recollect his memories before asking, "You mean that white rabbit?"
